It was a terrible experience and completely unethical. Just so you know, this was for a game that's 60 days away - it wasn't like it was a last-minute thing where the seller could be hurt.

I was forced to turn to Ticketmaster to get my seats, and it cost me a lot of money in the end- $341.68 dollars, without a parking pass. Meanwhile, my same-seats at Ticketmaster were $140.17 with a parking pass- a HUGE difference in price!
People should only buy tickets from Ticketmaster- it's always easy to call them up, talk to a live person, or even go to the ticket office in person. I will definitely never use RateYourSeats.com again. Their method of operation is clearly a SCAM!

I, recently, got 4 tickets from rateyourseats.com for The Chainsmokers concert in New Orleans on Sept. 12th. The tickets were for my family, and I was so excited about seeing the concert with them. A few weeks before the event, I got worried about the delivery of the tickets as I had an awful experience with another ticket provider in the past. I emailed the customer support of rateyourseats.com to ensure the tickets would reach me on time. They assured me that the tickets would be delivered before Oct. 26th and also said that they have a guarantee in place. I was relieved after hearing this.
However, things did not go as planned, as the tickets did not arrive on time! I had to request the tickets via another email and finally received them in my email. With our planned day ahead, my boyfriend took the day off, and we all drove 2 hours to the venue with great excitement.
But, when we finally reached the event location, parked our car, and ran through the rain, our joy was short-lived, as our tickets were invalid! We tried scanning the tickets with multiple scanners, but they did not work. I tried calling the customer care number mentioned in the email, but it took forever to get someone on the phone. It was frustrating, as one show had already started, and we could not enter the venue.
