Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Disappointing Cancellation Experience and Pressure Sales Tactics

I recently signed up with Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) and was initially excited about the prospect of using their services. However, after doing some deeper due diligence and reading actual reviews from real customers, I quickly realized that this company may not be the best fit for me.

I decided to cancel my contract with them, and I sent a written cancellation request via docusign just 16 hours after signing up. This was well within their 48 hour cooling off period stated in the contract. I received an acknowledgement of receipt from my sales rep, Carley Fay, but to my surprise, I continued to receive requests for payment, outstanding balances, and even a notice from a collections company (MetCredit).

I am extremely disappointed with the way Real Estate Webmasters has handled my cancellation request. It is clear that this company does not have their customers' best interests at heart and instead uses pressure sales tactics to force them into a 3-year contract.

In my opinion, any company worth their salt in this industry should not need to tie their customers into such a long-term contract. If they truly provide the service they claim to, customers will want to continue using them.

Overall, I would not recommend Real Estate Webmasters to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to help their business succeed. Instead, I suggest finding a company that truly cares about their customers and is willing to work with them to achieve their goals.

Real Estate Webmasters Beware of Real Estate Webmasters: Poor Website Consistency and Outsourcing to India

Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) is a website that is always going down with every upload or just too much traffic. The consistency of the website is basic, and I know for a fact that they are outsourcing to places like India where English is their second language. As a website developer hired to fix all of this basic grammar like a, the, this, that, there, in, on to full-blown typos all over every page, it is frustrating to see such a lack of attention to detail.

I would suggest finding someone like me that can put you on a major CMS that has constant support. If you're not happy with a developer, it's not hard to find someone proficient in said CMS. Whereas with REW, being somewhat HTML certain HTML elements just won't work, including sliders and all sorts of things like sliders and little parts of HTML code that I can get working on all other CMS I work on. I checked.

Just don't do it. They are a bunch of scammers paying Indians $5 an hour to do the work and then charge you $100 per hour. It's not worth the headache and frustration. Find a reputable company that values attention to detail and hires developers who are proficient in the CMS they are working on. Don't waste your time and money on REW.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters: A Total Scam - Stay Away!

I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Real Estate Webmasters. Honestly, if I could give them a negative rating, I would. This company is not to be trusted, so if you're thinking about signing a contract with them, I'd advise you to think twice. Spencer Dearing, their salesman, is pretty smooth-talking, but once they've got your money, you'll never hear from him again. And if you try to hold them accountable for what they promised you, they'll just tell you it's not in the contract. It's a total scam, and I wouldn't be surprised if they end up in jail someday.

The thing is, they're only interested in getting you to sign a contract and pay them for two years. Once they've got your money, they'll slow down the work to a snail's pace. I signed a contract with them back in September of 2020, and they promised me that my site would be up and running in six weeks. But here we are in July of 2021, and my site still doesn't work the way they said it would. It's been a total nightmare.

Honestly, unless you're looking for a $20,000 write-off, I'd recommend staying far away from Real Estate Webmasters. They're not worth the headache.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters: A Customer Service Nightmare

This company, Real Estate Webmasters, claims to be customer service oriented, but in reality, their support organization is the worst I have ever encountered. They simply do not care about your business. It takes them days to respond to your inquiries, and they work limited hours. Even when they give you a date for when your needs will be met, they are never on time. In my experience, they are typically months late.

The owner of this company is only interested in making money and does not care about his clients. When work for our company was constantly late, he told us to take him off of the support thread that HE had started. This shows a complete lack of responsibility and accountability on their part.

Furthermore, if you decide to use their platform, you are tied to it and own nothing. When you want to leave, you have no website, and all the investment you made goes down the toilet. It is much better to develop your own website in the long run. It will be cheaper, and you will have complete control over it.

Real Estate Webmasters has a reputation that is undeserved as being good for the real estate industry. In reality, they are only interested in making money and do not care about their clients. If you want to avoid the headache and frustration of dealing with this company, I suggest looking elsewhere for your real estate website needs.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Overpriced, Poor Customer Service, Limited Backend Access

I gotta say, Real Estate Webmasters ain't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, the sales folks are all smiles and sunshine when they're trying to get you to sign on the dotted line, but once you do, it's like they forget you exist. And don't even get me started on the prices they charge for basic stuff like coding and copy-pasting. I mean, I used to be a programmer myself, and it's just plain sickening to see how much they gouge you for this stuff.

But the worst part? You don't even get access to the backend! I mean, seriously, what kind of web development company doesn't let you get in there and tinker around a bit? It's like they don't trust you or something. And don't even think about trying to get any custom work done - they'll charge you an arm and a leg for even the most basic functions.

And let's not forget about the customer service. They act like it's a chore just to take your money or give you upgrades. I mean, come on, guys, we're paying you good money here - the least you could do is be polite about it. And don't even think about getting anything done quickly - it took me four weeks just to order some custom work, and now they're telling me it's going to take another 6-8 weeks to implement. And they're charging me $2,000 just to copy and paste some code from other sites! It's enough to make you want to tear your hair out.

Honestly, if you're going to spend this much money on a website, you might as well go with a real all-inclusive site like Gabriele's. At least they won't treat you like dirt and charge you an arm and a leg for basic functions.

Real Estate Webmasters Terrible Customer Service and Website Experience with Real Estate Webmasters

I gotta say, I ain't never been treated so unprofessionally in my life. I switched brokerages back in January and tried to get my contact info changed with Real Estate Webmasters. Finally got through to some manager dude on April 14th and then...nothing. Not a peep. I called, I messaged, I emailed, all to no avail. And all the while, I'm shelling out $500 a month for what? Nada. Zilch. Zip.

Then, to top it all off, my website had to be taken down because it wasn't even compliant with my new brokerage. Finally, in June, I get a call from some other manager dude who says they'll fix the communication issue, but I still owe them money for all those months of nothing. Are you kidding me? Talk about terrible customer service.

They don't seem to care about making things right, even when it's clear that they messed up. I wouldn't recommend Real Estate Webmasters to my worst enemy. You'll get the worst service and website experience you can imagine. I'm thinking my only option now is to take legal action. It's just so incredibly disappointing. I won't be keeping quiet about my experience, that's for sure.

Real Estate Webmasters Review of Real Estate Webmasters: Pros and Cons of Investing in a Custom Website

Real Estate Webmasters (REW) is a great option for those looking to create a custom website for their real estate business. However, it's important to keep in mind that custom work can be quite expensive and may not always result in the desired performance. When you pay for a website through REW, you are essentially leasing it rather than owning it. This means that if you were to request the raw code for your website after it's been completed, you may not be able to obtain it.

It's also worth noting that if you decide to make changes to your website outside of the REW structure, you may end up paying inflated prices for programmers to do the work. This can be frustrating, especially if you've already invested thousands of dollars into the website. Additionally, any unique ideas or requests that you make may not necessarily be considered yours, as you are essentially paying to improve REW's website.

While REW may be a good short-term solution, it's important to consider the long-term consequences of investing in a website that you don't have total control over. In some cases, REW may even sell your ideas to your competition, which can be detrimental to your business. Overall, it's important to weigh the pros and cons before investing in a custom website through REW.

Real Estate Webmasters Unethical and Incompetent: My Experience with REW Real Estate Websites

I decided to give REW a try when I needed a website for my real estate firm. I knew it would cost a bit more than other options, but I figured it would be worth it for a quality product. Unfortunately, that was not the case. It quickly became clear that the developers at REW lacked the necessary programming knowledge to create the website I wanted. Even worse, they lacked ethics.

We had to pay multiple times to rework ideas that were clearly outlined in the mockup. If we asked for red, they would give us blue and then charge us for the change. My project manager was only interested in grabbing more money and never delivered on a single promise. They were great at talking the talk, but when it came to walking the walk, they fell short every time.

After over a year of dealing with REW, we eventually had to walk away from a large sum of money. We realized that a legal battle with a company not based in the US would be more trouble than it was worth. I would never recommend REW to anyone, simply based on their ethical and legal standards.

If you're looking for a template-based website, there are many other companies out there that do A+ work at a fraction of the cost. REW lacks the experience and skills necessary to deliver a quality product in a timely manner. They will spend your money to learn how to do something that should take a fraction of the time if their developers were skilled at even the most basic level.

In short, REW lacks the ethics, know-how, and organization to deliver a quality product. I strongly advise against using them for any type of project. You have been warned.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Poor Customer Service, Broken Links, and Non-Intuitive Back End

This company, Real Estate Webmasters, is not the best web development company out there. Their customer service is not up to par. I've spent countless hours communicating with an account manager who only offers tutorials and tells me to redesign a website that looks like it was designed by a child. The back end is not intuitive and has minimal choices. The IDX links are broken, and the maps don't work. They refuse to offer a designer to help and want to upcharge. Their contracts are for 36 months, which cannot be broken, only upgraded and restarted. I regret the day my boss signed up with them. However, their CRM and search function work, which is the only good thing. But that could have easily been integrated into another website that looks good. I wouldn't spend one more dollar with this company, and I will have an attorney review the contract to see how quickly we can get out of this one. It's worth the money for the attorney to no longer have to do business with them. As you can tell, I'm horribly frustrated by the lack of customer service and willingness to make things right. I'm too embarrassed to share our website URL because it's a website that is embarrassing. This is more than an "ugh" review; it's a "I'm thoroughly disgusted" review.

Real Estate Webmasters Beware of Real Estate Webmasters (REW): Unjustified Fees and Poor Client Treatment

I had my website with Real Estate Webmasters (REW) for over 6 years. During that time, I spent thousands of dollars on customizations and upgrades. For the most part, I was happy with their services until last year.

In early 2017, I decided to invest $7,500 in SEO optimization. While my website's traffic increased slightly, I was shocked to find that it resulted in fewer leads. A few months later, our local MLS system changed, and REW took almost a month to make the transition to the new MLS. During this time, no REW client in CT had IDX. I tried to contact support, but they were mostly unresponsive. In the end, they pointed the finger and refused to take responsibility for the slow reaction.

A few weeks later, REW announced that they would be dropping all clients that were not paying a minimum of $500/month. This meant that my fees would quintuple, with no additional benefits. I was used to getting nickel and dimed by REW, but this was outrageous. I tried to reason with my REW representative, but it was no use. I considered agreeing to the fee, but in the end, I decided to cut my losses and leave REW. The fee was unjustified, and REW's treatment of its entire client base with this move was truly offensive and intolerable.

It took me a few months to rebuild my website, which is now a WordPress site that I own. It was worth every moment. Looking back, I wish I had left REW years sooner, and I regret ever referring others to them.

If you're considering REW, beware. Their services may seem appealing at first, but their treatment of clients is unacceptable.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters' Acquisition of ProStep Marketing: Frustrating MLS Link Failures and Lack of Support

Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) recently acquired ProStep marketing, but it seems like my website has stopped operating and the MLS links are failing to link. I reached out to them and it took them a whole week to give me the appearance of resolving the issue. However, the response I got was quite disappointing. RealEstateWebmasters no longer supports the platform of ProStep marketing, which left me wondering why they even bought the company in the first place. I was not given any notice about this change, and I can only imagine how many other agents are in the same boat as me, with no clue that their links are not working. It's frustrating to say the least.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Overpriced and Disappointing Services

So, we decided to give Real Estate Webmasters a try and boy, were we disappointed. We spent a lot of money building our website with them and then they charged us $199 a month for maintenance. On top of that, they charged us $10 a month per agent to have an agent site linked. We thought the hosting price was steep, but at least the site looked professional.

But now, they are raising the monthly hosting fee to $499 per month after we built the site? What a rip-off! We can't trust these guys and we would never use them again. It's a shame because we were really hoping for a good experience, but it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money.

Real Estate Webmasters Disappointing Experience with Real Estate Webmasters: Unwilling to Provide Support Despite High Fees

Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) seemed like a good choice at first. They were friendly and helpful when I was inquiring about their services. However, my experience with them quickly changed once I became a paying customer.

I was shocked to find out that even though I was paying over $500 per month for support, they were unwilling to make updates to my website unless it was something I couldn't do myself. They would only provide me with instructions on how to make the update. This was frustrating because I was paying for their support and expected them to do the work for me.

To make matters worse, I rarely asked them to do any updates for me, even though I was paying them $500 per month for support. So when I did ask for their help, I expected them to follow through on their end of the deal.

Overall, my experience with Real Estate Webmasters was disappointing. I felt like they were only interested in taking my money and not providing the level of support that I was paying for. As a result, I have decided to part ways with them and find a company that values their customers and provides the support they promise.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Terrible Support and Unreliable Promises

Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. Their support organization is terrible and they do not seem to care about their clients. It takes them days to respond to any inquiries and they only work limited hours, which is not helpful for those who need assistance outside of their working hours.

Furthermore, they make promises about when they will meet your needs, but they are never on time. In my experience, they are typically months late. This is unacceptable for a company that is supposed to be providing support to their clients.

The owner of the company, who is tattooed, does not seem to care about his clients either. When work for our company was constantly late, he told us to take him off of the support thread that HE had started. This is not the kind of behavior that you would expect from a company that is supposed to be providing support to their clients.

In conclusion, I would not recommend Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) to anyone. Their support organization is terrible and they do not seem to care about their clients. Real Estate Webmasters Terrible Experience: Avoid This Company for Website Development

This company is not good. They said they would finish our new website in six weeks, but it's been six months and we still don't have a site. We're still paying for it though. Spencer Dearing, our account manager, is not good at his job. The customer service is bad. They don't call or email back. They leave you alone once you sign the contract. Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Buyer Beware of Hidden Costs and Pressure to Upgrade

So, I gotta say, Real Estate Webmasters ain't all it's cracked up to be. Sure, they'll get you signed up for a fancy website, but what they don't tell you is that you don't actually own it - you're just leasing it from them. And let me tell you, that lease ain't cheap.

But that's not even the worst part. They're always trying to pressure you into upgrading to their latest version, which means even more money out of your pocket. And don't even get me started on the hosting fees - those bad boys have been skyrocketing lately.

And if you want any programming changes? Well, you better be prepared to fork over some serious cash for that too. It's like they know you're not gonna want to switch to a different platform and lose all your hard work and leads, so they think they can just keep squeezing you for more and more money.

But you know what? I'm not gonna fall for it. I'm not gonna let them have me by the balls. So if you're thinking about signing up with Real Estate Webmasters, you better think twice. Buyer beware, my friends.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Potential, but Poor Customer Service and Constant Upselling

I've been using Real Estate Webmasters for about a year and a half now, and at first, things were going pretty well. However, I've decided to cancel my subscription at the end of this month for a few reasons.

Firstly, it seems like they're always trying to sell you something new. As soon as you buy a product, it's already outdated, and they'll call you the next month to try and sell you the newer version for full price. There's no upgrade cost, but any modifications you made before will have to be paid for again. It's frustrating to feel like you're constantly being upsold and that the product you just bought is already obsolete.

Secondly, I've found them to be inflexible and non-negotiable. Once you've bought something, don't expect any help or support. They're polite, but they're not very customer-friendly. If you have any issues or concerns, they won't negotiate with you or try to find a solution that works for both parties. It's a shame because I think they could do better in this area.

Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with Real Estate Webmasters. I think they have a lot of potential, but they need to work on their customer service and their approach to selling products. If you're considering using them, I would advise you to proceed with caution and be aware of the potential downsides.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Terrible Business Practices and Customer Service

Real Estate Webmasters is a company that I had the displeasure of working with recently. I must say, it was not a pleasant experience. In fact, it was downright terrible. I feel it is my duty to share my experience with others so that they can avoid the same pitfalls that I did.

Firstly, let me start by saying that Real Estate Webmasters is all about the money. They do not care about the customer or their needs. All they care about is their bottom line. They will nickel and dime you to death. Every time you talk to someone, they will charge you. It doesn't matter how small or insignificant the request is, they will charge you for it. It's like they have a quota to meet or something.

Furthermore, if you want to make any changes to your website, be prepared to wait weeks. Yes, you read that right. Weeks. They are so slow and unresponsive that it's almost comical. It's like they don't care about your business or your time. They are only interested in making money.

Their customer service is also terrible. They are rude, unhelpful, and downright disrespectful. They treat you like you are a nuisance and not a valued customer. It's like they forget that without customers, they wouldn't have a business.

In conclusion, I would strongly advise anyone looking for a real estate website company to stay away from Real Estate Webmasters. They are a horrible company with horrible business practices. They do not care about their customers and are only interested in making money. Save yourself the headache and find a company that actually cares about your business.

Real Estate Webmasters Disappointed with Real Estate Webmasters: Overhyped and Limited Functionality

I gotta say, I was pretty excited when my office made the switch from Where To Live to Real Estate Webmasters. I mean, everyone was talking about how great this company was supposed to be. But let me tell you, as someone who's not exactly a tech wizard, I was pretty disappointed with what I found.

I mean, sure, I can create a basic website and I know a little bit about coding and hosting. But this platform? It's just an overhyped version of Wordpress with limited functionality. I mean, seriously, I had more options when I was hosting my own Wordpress site. And don't even get me started on how much easier it is to use Weebly, Wix, or even godaddy.

And the worst part? It took them over a year to roll out this platform, and it's still full of bugs! I mean, come on guys, it's 2020! You'd think they'd have this stuff figured out by now.

Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with Real Estate Webmasters. I was expecting a lot more from a company that's supposed to be one of the best in the business. But hey, maybe I'm just not tech-savvy enough to appreciate it.

Real Estate Webmasters Real Estate Webmasters Review: Lacks Basic Functionality and Flexibility, Not Worth the Money

Real Estate Webmasters (realestatewebmasters.com) is a website that offers real estate agents a platform to showcase their listings and services. However, the website lacks basic functionality that is expected from a modern website. For instance, if you want to change the color of your background or typeface, you will have to pay a hefty fee of $600. This is a basic HTML 101 feature that should be available to users without any extra cost.

Moreover, the website does not allow users to embed videos, which is a common feature in most websites in 2019. This is a custom feature that should be available to users without any extra cost. The website is designed for real estate agents with zero tech skills, which means that it lacks the flexibility and customization that most users expect from a modern website.

We thought that going with the most expensive solution would bring us expensive results, but we were wrong. The website provided by Real Estate Webmasters was awful, and we had to hire a guy from Pakistan to fix it for us. This is not what we expected from a company that claims to be the best in the business.

If you are looking for a custom website, we suggest that you go on Fiverr, where you will find hundreds of people with more experience who will be more than willing to build you a custom site. Real Estate Webmasters is not worth the money, and we do not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a modern and flexible website.
