The refurbished iphone I received did not work, it would not accept my SIM card, so I tried to return it within a couple of hours of receiving it. The company emailed me back the next day (no phone number to call) and told me I needed to send in 4 pictures before I could return it. The reason I was buying a new phone (refurbished) is because my camera was broken on my current phone. I replied back I could not send pictures, they replied back that I needed to borrow someone's phone to take pictures...what?! First off, I live alone, and secondly I shouldn't have to take pictures at all, I was 100% abiding by their return policy, I will copy it here:

30-Days Free Returns

Your satisfaction is essential to us. If the product doesn’t meet your expectations or you change your mind, you can return your device for free. Please get in touch with our customer service team to receive your free return label. After 30 days since you received your order, we can’t offer any refunds.

For pre-owned devices, you can return your undamaged device within 30 days after delivery for a full refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must be sent back in the same condition it was purchased, be free of any passcodes and iCloud/Google accounts as well as any software lock (iCloud/passcode/SIM Lock. etc.), and includes all accessories it came with. If there are obvious signs of use or the device was damaged after the delivery, no refunds will be granted, and we’ll send the device back to you.

For Brand New devices, you can return your unopened & undamaged device within 30 days after delivery for a full refund. Please note that we only accept unopened and sealed devices in the original packaging. If the device was opened or damaged after receipt, we will grant you no refunds and send the device back to you.

Nowhere does it state you have to have pictures before you return your device. I read the return policy before purchasing, had it said you would need to send pics, I would not have purchased, because my camera was broken...hence the need for a new iphone:(

I will from now on only use Apple or Amazon, I have learned my lesson...good thing my credi card company agreed with me on this dispute.

Desired outcome: To let other consumers know that the Return Policy is not upheld by this company and to think twice before purchasing from them.
