On September 20, 2023 (less than a month ago) I signed a one month contract with Regus. After I signed up with them, literally 10 minutes after signing up, I found out from all the google reviews that they were a scam.
So I Immediately wrote them telling them to cancel my contract (this is within 10 min). I ALSO called the Regus center letting them know.
The staff was on notice that I was not moving forward. I even got a confirmation email that my account will be closed (see attached confirmation email below). I was so happy!
A month later (its now October 2023) they keep sending me invoices of over $700 and threatening to take me to collections if I don't pay. Keep in mind, the office desk I signed up for was $180/month for one month only. So its a lot of layers of scam here. For example, not only is that amount astronomically incorrect, I also don't even have an active account with them for them to be charging me in the first place.
I read other reviews of Regus incorrectly sending their clients to collections and ruining the business owners perfect lives/credit. I feel so bad for people who got scammed thousands. At least mine is only around $700.
Either way- no one deserves to be scammed. I wish I had googled them.
Desired outcome: Stop invoicing me and close my account. I was never a client. I should not be charged anything.
