Reinhold Electric Reinhold Electric is absolutly wonderfull

Reinhold Electric is absolutly wonderfull. Jason, Floyd and another technician were able to solve a very difficult problem. Without reservation I can highly recomend them for any of your electrical needs. The company is very honest and trustworth, customer satisfaction is their ultimate goal. Their television advertisemenet certainly holds true. It is their employees that make a company succesful and Reinhold Electric can be honored to have such dedicated employees.

Reinhold Electric It's nice to deal with a company that does the right thing

It's nice to deal with a company that does the right thing. About a year ago, a subcontractor working for Reinhold Electric drilled in the wrong spot on our parking lot while preparing for a new communications tower. This caused damage to our garage roof, and we had to fix it immediately to prevent further issues. We've been trying for the past year to get compensation from the subcontractor or their insurance company, but without success. When Reinhold found out about the problem, they agreed to split the damages with the subcontractor. However, when the subcontractor didn't hold up their end of the deal, someone named *** from Reinhold's claims department stepped in and advocated for us. They took on the entire burden and made sure we were fully compensated. *** and Reinhold deserve recognition for doing the honorable and ethical thing. Reinhold Electric If you wanna find a honest and reasonably priced business, Reinhold is the one

If you wanna find a honest and reasonably priced business, Reinhold is the one. My story tells it all, ya know. I like supporting small, family businesses, so when I needed my pendant light fixed over the kitchen island, I searched on Thumbtack and found "*** Electric". I reached out to them and they gave me a date to come over. I asked them straight up, "how much does it cost for you to come and give an estimate, and if I hire you, will that fee be applied to the repair?" They replied, "no charge for us to come over." The guy from *** came on the scheduled day and I showed him the broken light. He looked at it and said, "mind if I check out the rest of your house?" I asked why and he said, "to see if there are any other repairs needed or if there are any code violations." I told him I only wanted the light fixed. He quickly said he had some meter or gadget that he could use on the light fixture itself for $179, and if he had to climb a ladder, it would cost more. Well, duh! The fixture is up high, so obviously he would need a ladder! I asked him to leave. Then I called Reinhold. They explained clearly that they would charge $108 to come over, but that covered 1 hour of their time and any additional costs would only apply if the diagnosis/repair took longer or if there were parts needed. I agreed to pay the $108 right away. When "***" arrived, he looked at the light, saw that it wouldn't turn on when the switch was flipped, said he had an idea of what it could be, climbed the ladder, took down the fixture, did something with the wiring, put it back up, and turned on the light. IT WORKED! He did all that in no more than 30 minutes from the moment he walked in until he left. He was nice, patient, and explained things in a way that I could understand. Thanks ***. And thanks to Reinhold for being an honest and dependable business.

Reinhold Electric Price gouging, I just had an electrical repair done

Price gouging, I just had an electrical repair done. This was an issue I've had before in a different part of my house, so I knew what the problem was. The electrician came to my house just before 8am and finished just before 11am, but the invoice said the job started at 7am. Then, during the job, they called in a second electrician for help. The first one didn't have the necessary tool to complete the work without going into the attic, and he was too big to fit through the crawl space to the attic. The total cost for running a wire of about 12 feet was $427. That included $35 for the parts and $392 for the hours worked. My issue is that this job shouldn't have taken over 2 hours, and the clock shouldn't have started before they arrived at my house.

Reinhold Electric I had a problem with the electricity in my kitchen, bedroom, and living room

I had a problem with the electricity in my kitchen, bedroom, and living room. So, I decided to give Reinhold Electric a call. The electrician came over and spent about 15 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong. Strangely enough, the electricity started working on its own in all three rooms. I paid the bill right away, which was $108.00.

Later on, I tried to cook a TV dinner, but the electricity went out again in those same rooms. Frustrated, I called Reinhold Electric again. This time, the electrician arrived at 3:00 pm and managed to fix the problem by 4:35 pm. However, when it came time to pay, the electrician pressured me into signing a work order for three hours, claiming he was present or on his way from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. I disagree with that and believe the bill should only be for two hours of labor, which would make it $223.98. Additionally, I think I should receive a $108.00 credit from the first bill since the electrician didn't actually solve the problem. This would bring the total bill to $115.98.

To show my disagreement, I am sending a check for $115.98.

Reinhold Electric I had an appointment with Reinhold Electric on July 5th at 8 am

I had an appointment with Reinhold Electric on July 5th at 8 am. Got a call at 7:40 am saying all the electricians are busy with an emergency, so they can't come to my house now. They said someone will come by 1:00 pm in the afternoon. But nobody showed up until 3:15 pm. The electrician who finally arrived had the wrong info about my job. When I told him he needs to install two outdoor outlets, he spent more than 45 min making phone calls to his boss for materials. He spent almost two hours figuring out the wiring in my garage, even though that wasn't the job he was hired for. After I complained, he said he won't charge me for that time or the time he spent talking to his boss. He stayed at my house until 9 pm and still didn't finish the job. The next morning, a different person came to finish it. The electrician assured me he won't charge me for the mistakes, but then I received a bill in the mail for all the time spent at my house, which came to $1,007.17.

I hired Reinhold Electric in the fall of 2019 to wire a new light fixture in my hallway, replace a GFCI, change the Lutron switches in my kitchen to accommodate LED bulbs, install two exterior motion lights, and replace the electric panel with surge protection. Unfortunately, only the first two items were installed correctly the first time. I have been incredibly frustrated with the challenges I have faced throughout the entire process. Here are some of the issues I have encountered:

- The sales representative, Jason Meyer, incorrectly specified products that did not meet my needs. I repeatedly asked him to come and see the problems, but he never showed up for any of the appointments we scheduled. After the final missed appointment, I called to reschedule and he yelled and cursed at me.
- The sales rep refused to troubleshoot the issues with the Lutron switches. I had to contact Lutron technical support myself to explain the problems and find the right product. This took up a lot of my time. The sales rep had initially promised that there would be no charge for installing the correct product, but I was still billed for it.
- The company management and lighting specialist attempted to replace the motion lights without assessing the problem with the original product. The replacement lights did not meet my lighting needs, and when I asked to test other options, I was told that it would be at my own risk and expense. They did not provide satisfactory answers to my questions, leaving me unable to make an informed decision. As a result, I currently have no lights.
- It took weeks of back-and-forth to get an addendum that accurately reflected the terms agreed upon in the initial contract. I also had to take the initiative to obtain labor, material, and warranty information, which should have been provided according to the original agreement. This information was only sent to me months after the installation.
- The socket for the electric panel was installed with gaps that could not be sealed properly from weather and pests. I had to insist on a proper fix and spent more time meeting with representatives at my home to resolve the issue.
- The appointment date with the electrician was changed without consulting me first to see if I could accommodate the new date. I had to adjust my schedule accordingly.
- There were long periods of time (ranging from twelve days to five weeks) where company leaders did not respond to my group emails. I had to escalate my emails multiple times just to get a response. I also left voicemails and sent emails to the President of the company, requesting to speak about my ongoing issues, but my requests were ignored.
- I have received incorrect invoices multiple times, despite clearly pointing out the necessary corrections. I sought advice from industry professionals, who confirmed that my projects were simple electrical installations that should have been scoped accurately and completed professionally the first time. It should not have been necessary for me to meet with representatives multiple times or initiate numerous communications to resolve my own electrical installation issues. They were also shocked by the way the sales representative treated me and the lack of responsiveness from the company's leadership.
- After more than six months of dealing with these issues, I am still trying to get basic business requirements met. The following matters remain unresolved:
1. I have requested a correct invoice ten times in writing since January 7. I have sent these requests on group emails to the relevant individuals, but I have received periods of unresponsiveness lasting from 12 days to 5 weeks. I have had to escalate my emails eight times this year alone just to get a response. The invoice is still incorrect, and I need a correct invoice mailed to my home address.
2. The sales rep refused to troubleshoot the Lutron switch issues, even though I contacted Lutron technical support myself and obtained the correct product. Despite an email from January 7, confirming that I would not be charged for the installation, I continue to receive past due notices for the invoice. I need this cancellation documented in writing.
3. Additionally, as compensation for the negative experiences and waste of my time, I suggest that the company write off my bill. At the very least, I should receive a significant discount.
