Way back in February we purchased a used power reclining love seat. It came to us "broken". When reclining on one side the metel works catches and causes the entire piece to jerk when it releases. Also, the cushions are so worn that BOTH sides are compressed so badly the cushions sit at about 10 percent on one side and 20 percent on the other. We are elderly and the cushionsvare literally causing us pain. Weve complanned numerous times to the Prescott Valley, Arizona store. We also co planned to this very site. We've been told numerous times to be "patient". Well it's been 3 months now and we've been patient long enough. We want our money back. It took us 5 months to save up enough money to buy the piece and we received a piece of furniture that is essentially, broken. Used furniture is one thing... damaged is another! We were told that Ashley ok'ed the return/replacement of this damaged furniture (3 weeks ago) and we are STILL WAITING. We had a reasonable right to expect furniture that, though used, was in woodworking and physical condition. IF this matter is not resolved expediency we will be forced to file a small claims suit. We will win because as I said earlier it's one thing to buy used furniture (wildly marked up) and a completely different matter to received damaged and in poor condition furniture. We are even contemplating contacting Fox News who readily air stories of elderly people who've been taken advantage of. We have claimed 3 months. We have waited far longer than we should have. We certainly hope that you... the "complaints depa" will finally side with a customer who was taken advantage of. Thank you.
Claimed loss: 2,000.00 dollars. We want our money back and will also be seaking pain and suffering due to the pain the broken furniture causes our elderly bodies
Desired outcome: We want our money back. We are done with "being patient" 3 months is about 2 months too long. If the piece is replaced we will be satisfied as well... as long as it is in good working and physical condition.
