Rep for vets (rfv)- worst decision ever!
What a joke! They spent 1 year with almost no communication and no progress. I think they delay to get a higher total amount of money because their money is based on a percentage of your accumulated back pay. The longer they delay - the more they get. I found another organization (Hill and Ponton (HAP) - unfortunately a bunch of lawyers) to try and help me...

I didn't use them after I fired them back in 2010 never even spoke with them after that but they are still claiming they are my rep to get money. Dear Sir, I am *** , I hired your firm back in 2010 and was very dissatisfied with the service I received. I couldn't get anyone to return my calls, answer any questions, I didn't even know you filed a claim for me. I called many times trying to speak with my contact person and the only person I could ever speak with was the receptionist. I left messages with her and never received a return call from anyone. I finally called and again could not get my contact person so I informed the receptionist that I no longer require your services. I told her to please let everyone know being I couldn't speak with anyone but her. As you can see in my records I did not use you for anything regarding my claim. I have informed the VA many times that you no longer represented me. *rom that time on I never spoke with your firm again ever, so how in the world have you been my rep. Wouldn't we have to at the very least speak about my claim. The American legion has been my rep since then. I did not use your firm and your firm didn't do anything for my claim that I am aware of. You can see it clearly if you look at my file , you didn't do anything. Please stop claiming you are my rep, as of 2010 I informed your company that I no longer wanted or needed your services. The American Legion and myself did everything for my claim. Please do the right thing here, I gave blood for my claim and I deserve anything I get from my claim. If I thought you did anything I would gladly pay you for the service but you didn't. Please show some integrity and do the right thing and stop telling the VA you did. Thanks for showing some Integrity and doing the right thing. *** United States Marine Corps Veteran

I started with Rep for Vets in 2013
I started with Rep for Vets in 2013. I had filed a complaint with the VA and still haven't heard from them. But Harry *** found out about my complaint and resolved it promptly. He refunded my money and I still haven't heard from the VA about that complaint. Rep for Vets gets five stars from me in 2013. They've done an excellent job on my case and got tremendous results. Mr. and all the staff are great.

After 50 years of not realizing that my PTSD was causing so many problems in my life, I was advised by many combat Veterans to apply for compensation due to my PTSD. Rep for Vets took my case and found out about my 6 month stay at WAMC after a car accident when I returned from Vietnam. They were able to get me 100% Permanent total disability. Their team of skilled attorneys were able to navigate the VA system with due diligence. If you think you have a claim, let the Rep for Vets handle it.
I've been dealing with these folks for over 2 years and haven't seen any results for my PTSD case
I've been dealing with these folks for over 2 years and haven't seen any results for my PTSD case. I went to them to appeal for a higher rate. I did everything they asked of me, like getting letters from my wife and an outside psychiatrist. I did it all, but my appeal got denied. The VA notified me, but I never heard back from RFV. My case is closed now, and they still haven't reached out to me. On the other hand, I tried reaching out to my attorney, but all I got was a paralegal. And all she says is, "just hang in there Mr., we're working on it." Working on what? There's no appeal on file. Look, I know these things take time to sort out, but all I ask is to keep me in the loop and keep fighting. These people haven't done either.

One of the worst decisions of my life
One of the most foolish things I have done is to retain Rep For Vets. Do not believe their claim to be advocating for you. This is the laziest professional organization ever. The Rep For Vet boiler plate questionnaire has no value as no professional will bother to fill it out, It is a complete waste of time. I requested to know the billing hours Rep For...

Rep for Vets is a SCAM! I sent in my "Free disability evaluation form" that they have you fill out over six months ago and have heard nothing from them, even though they claim they will contact you. After several emails and phone calls to them I have yet to hear anything back from them. I am disgusted, they are preying on us vets trying to make a quick buck. Don't waste your time with "rep for vets" get a real lawyer instead, it makes more sense than waiting forever for nothing.

I work for a disability firm. I talk to Vets everyday that think they have a solid case but no proof of any acute treatment. They were seen once or twice in service and think that is cause for the VA to approve them for disability. Well, it’s not. Now addressing that the DAV or Vet Svc Off is just as good. You are wrong. All these federal funded employees get paid if they win your case or not so they care less if the win. A firm that only gets paid for their services with work harder for you. Those that think otherwise are either just dreaming or to cheap to want to win their case. You get what you pay for as my father always said.
And before anyone responds back that I did not serve. I served longer than most vets I talk to. I gave 21yrs to my country. So yes I know what being in the military can do to a persons body.
Not everyone has a good or fair case and gets pissed when told this. Grow up.
Your definately a lifelong company boot licker and a very lonely delusional person who feels overly entitled. You sound like the last person any Vet needs when searching for help. But a true lifer like you is always one way.
I agree I requested assistance from them four months ago and NOTHING!
I received no return call or and email stating they will assist me or that they even are working to assist me. This company should be shut down and the VA prosecute for misrepresenting veterans.
NOT WORTH THE ENERGY!
Vets for Reps is a bunch of BS. They will not do any more than you or a VSO can do. Do not fall for their sales pitch. They will bait you in the beginning; answer all your calls questions and concerns until you retain them and they will submit paperwork to the VA declaring they are entitled to 20% of your back pay, but they will actually only do enough to warrant about 1% of your settlement. And that is a far generous. Be clear before you sign. Make sure to ask them to inform you if/when you decide to terminate your agreement with them. They will be become overly helpful when you're getting close to your settlement. "Buyer Beware!"
One complaint from someone who didn't even give details to validate it, seems like maybe they are like any other business so far. Not all cases are worht pursuing and maybe some people don't want to hear that?
I call rep for vets and they told me i had a strong case and they just sent me a questionaire for my doctors to fill out and thats all theyre waiting on, so ive had a really good experience with them!
Misrepresentation
I contacted Rep for Vets to discuss an appeal to the Veterans Administration. I was told that I would be contacted for information on my denial of claim. They never contacted me. If you want real service find another law firm, Rep for Vets will not help. I found other lawyers eager to look at my case. I received prompt responses after emailing my request...

Failure to respond
Called Rep for Vets to inquire about their services in representing Veterans with disability claims denied by the VA. I was told a representative would contact me about information regarding my case. They never contacted me as I was told. I found other attorneys willing to look at my case. Not asking for a win just a review of my case for its merits. If...
