Don't work with this company
Don't work with this company. If you do, be ready to get a lawyer or pay for whatever Jerry R. wants to charge you with.
These guys are thieves
These guys are thieves. They ordered stuff from my company and didn't pay. Nancy H. is pathetic and can't do her job right. She's just a fancy janitor.
ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Seriously, their customer service is like non-existent. The people working there are so clueless and they keep changing staff at the Seminole office all the time. If you can, just stay away from Resource Property Management.
They don't answer they're phones
They don't answer they're phones. They turned a minor clerical error over to they're aggressive, debt collecting, law firm. They blocked me (a long time owner) from talking with anyone who could resolve a minor issue. They caused the issue to fester until the lawyer could run up a bill. Pretty much a my way or the highway attitude. As an Owner I am stuck with them for now. I would give them zero stars... Less than Zero stars to they're law firm/debt collector.
Our experience with Resource Property Management, Inc
Our experience with Resource Property Management, Inc. (https://resourcepropertymgmt.com/) has been quite disappointing. We requested certain documents from our CAM through certified mail, but she refused to provide them. It's frustrating that she hasn't reached out to our association regarding our complaints and requests. Additionally, she has hired unlicensed workers for projects using our association's funds without informing our community about these expenses. It's concerning to know that these contractors had previously faced complaints in 2020 and yet they are still being hired.
Our CAM has not promptly addressed the issues in our community with the professionalism and respect that we deserve. Furthermore, we haven't received any communication from her superiors to discuss the situation and find a resolution. As a result, we are now exploring other options to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, our association has suffered financial liability due to this incompetence.
It is disheartening that the owners at RPM, who should be well aware of the mismanagement, have not taken any action to address these serious issues. It seems they are not concerned about the problems we are facing. We hope that they will eventually take responsibility and address the situation.
These property managers are the absolute worst, no doubt about it
These property managers are the absolute worst, no doubt about it. I own a bunch of properties, most of which have HOA's, and let me tell you, this management company takes the cake for being the worst.
I had a chat with Michelle F, and let me tell you, she has the manners of a dumpster fire. I've decided to expose her for the nasty person she is.
During this whole Covid 19 mess, they've been slapping on fees, fines, and crazy "collection fees" if a check doesn't arrive on time. It's just adding insult to injury. And to make matters worse, they sent a generic letter pretending to care and saying they're here to help.
So, I called to ask why we got hit with a late fee. Keep in mind, we own 17 units that they manage, and we've always paid on time for the past 7 years. But this rude F. woman wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise. She tried to bully me, lecture me, and was just downright rude with her whole "I AM KAREN" routine.
And to top it all off, she wouldn't let me speak to anyone else, and she hung up on me not once, but twice. This woman should not be dealing with the public, period.
Maybe she'd be better off with a job where she's hidden away, far, far away from any human interaction.

The HOA's maintenance crew messed up big time by destroying 5 trees that I personally bought to make some extra money in the approved areas
The HOA's maintenance crew messed up big time by destroying 5 trees that I personally bought to make some extra money in the approved areas. On November 8th, Monday morning at 8am, they came with a chainsaw and took every single one of them from my yard. What's even more frustrating is that they didn't do this to anyone else in the complex. Now the value of my unit has gone down, and they've cut off my source of extra income. As a retired citizen, I really depend on this.
I sold my condo in February
I sold my condo in February. Resource Property Management took out the March association fees from my bank account. I emailed and called the property manager and the A/P person who handles the automatic withdrawals. I filled out the paperwork they needed in February. I haven't closed the bank account it was taken from, hoping they would give me a refund. It's not okay that they haven't refunded me or talked to me about it.

I selled my condo on August 30th, the management withdrew illegal association fee of $316 for the month of September, they were notified of the sale by paying them an estoppel fee as required, management claim they were not aware of the sale. After asking for the association fee refund they have stalled and after a month and half they still have not issued my refund. I had email their accounting department several times and they said is in process but cutting a check does not take this long.

Resource Property management took money from my account without asking me first, even though I had already sold my house
Resource Property management took money from my account without asking me first, even though I had already sold my house. They won't give it back, it was $360. I sold my house on 8/28 and RPM said it was okay a month before that, on behalf of the HOA. They even sent a letter in mid-August (they knew about the sale). On 8/30, I told them they couldn't take money from my account anymore. But on 9/4, they took $360 without asking me. They won't put it back and they don't answer my calls.
Starting from 8/8, my unit (****) at *** in Clearwater ain't got no power for the 4th day
Starting from 8/8, my unit (***) at *** in Clearwater ain't got no power for the 4th day. And guess what? 7 other units are in the same boat. Can you believe it? Resource Property Mgmt. ain't even botherin' to respond to my calls and msgs. Duke Energy says the problem ain't 'on their property. It's on the mgmt. property and they gotta fix it'. I've been sendin' multiple msgs to Resource Property Mgr., but they ain't even botherin' to answer. And the operator? They won't even give me the attorney's name & number or someone higher up to talk to. I ain't got no clue if or when the power's gonna come back on, and I ain't got no options. This is just how they always handle things, like it's no big deal.
I sold a condo in *** on 3/10/22 and told the HOA to stop taking money from my account
I sold a condo in *** on 3/10/22 and told the HOA to stop taking money from my account. I also told my bank. I paid the March fee and got money back for the rest of the month when I closed the deal. Last week, I got a letter from RPM saying I owed fees for April and a late charge. They also said the fees would be higher next month. I called and left messages for Al F. and Melissa, but they didn't get back to me. So, I emailed Melissa twice about the letter, but still no response. I then called and left a message for Roger, who handles the books. Again, no response. I want a letter saying this issue is fixed.
I got a lien on my house 'cause they didn't tell me 'bout the payments I owed
I got a lien on my house 'cause they didn't tell me 'bout the payments I owed. They just went straight to a lawyer without lettin' me know. The lawyer slapped me with a lien and charged me 'bout 500 bucks in fees. This is the first time I ever heard from resource property management. They had my email, phone, and even snail mail, but they never reached out. When I called 'em to sort things out, I talked to this super rude lady who said there's nothin' she can do 'cause it's with the lawyer now. I'm fightin' this 500 bucks 'cause I didn't even know 'bout it 'til the lawyer got involved.
We moved outta the neighborhood managed by Resource Property Management on 10/30
We moved outta the neighborhood managed by Resource Property Management on 10/30. Our closing company didn't send 'em the paperwork in time to stop the auto draft of our HOA payment. On Monday, November 15, 09:11:00 AM EST, Alaine G. emailed sayin' she got all the stuff needed to give us a refund. But we still ain't got that payment yet, and we've tried reachin' out to 'em four times already with no response. They've been takin' money outta my account on time for two years, but now they're takin' two months to give me back an overpayment? At this point, I want our refund, plus interest and penalties 'cause I'd have to pay 'em the same.
Outstanding Balance Incorrect
Outstanding Balance Incorrect. I got a letter on 2/24 sayin' I owe $25 for my HOA fees. Nobody told me about this before, so I don't even know if it's true or not. I've had this condo for 2 years and always had automatic payments from my bank. They always took the right amount, no problems. But now they sendin' me this letter. And they threatenin' to send it to collections and charge me another $50 if I don't pay on time. I always paid my fees on time, no delays. On another note, my HOA fees went up by $115 since I bought this condo. Nobody told me about this change, 'cept for the $15 increase at the start of the year.
It took them 4 months to fix roof leaks, now they won't fix the damage inside
It took them 4 months to fix roof leaks, now they won't fix the damage inside. The roof is 16 years old and in bad shape, but they won't replace it until 2022. Our rep from Resource Property Mgmt is Renee B. The leaks caused damage to 3 areas inside. It took 4 months of calls and emails for her to find a contractor to patch the roof. She won't fix the damage inside, which got worse because of her negligence. My insurance won't cover it because it's the property management's responsibility. They're really difficult to deal with, only acting fast when sending mean letters to residents about small things. But getting them to maintain the properties takes a long time and a lot of patience. I have emails that prove their negligence, but I don't know how to share them here.
I got double billed for Internet and TV, which was supposed to be part of the HOA
I got double billed for Internet and TV, which was supposed to be part of the HOA. We moved into our new home in the *** community on November 25th. The *** community HOA is managed by Resources. They're supposed to include cable and Internet in the HOA fee we pay. *** has a deal with Spectrum for cable and Internet. But so far, we keep getting billed for HOA fees that already include cable and Internet. On top of that, we're also paying monthly fees to Spectrum. I've called Deborah J., the Administrative Assistant at Resources Property Management, many times to let her know that we haven't been added to the Spectrum bulk account. I've also sent her multiple emails about this issue, but she never responds. We've also reached out to Spectrum multiple times, but they say they can't help and we have to deal with Resources Property Management directly. It's frustrating because I'm paying twice for the same service, and Resources knows about it but still hasn't fixed the problem. If you need them, I have the dates and times of the emails I've sent and the calls I've made to support my complaint.
I've been tryin' to work with my HOA manager for the past 9 months to deal with the termite problem in my townhouse
I've been tryin' to work with my HOA manager for the past 9 months to deal with the termite problem in my townhouse. They came in and sprayed insecticide in the walls, but they promised to come back and fix the wall damage. It's been over 6 months now, and I've had to keep buggin' the community manager to get the repairs done. They keep sayin' someone will come, but nobody ever shows up. Finally, after weeks of me callin' and complainin', they send someone to do part of the work. But guess what? They only had to paint the walls, and they used a color that doesn't match at all! Then they have the nerve to email me sayin' I agreed to a possible color match, which I never did! On top of all this, we haven't had a community meetin' in over 6 months, and the whole place is bein' run terribly. I'm payin' almost $500 a month, and they ain't doin' anythin' they're supposed to. I want my home repairs finished, and I want answers about what's happenin' with the association. This is completely unacceptable for a business dealin' with homeowners like me.
I bought a townhouse in *** of Largo, managed by Resource Property Management/RPM in 8 and gave my mailing address
I bought a townhouse in *** of Largo, managed by Resource Property Management/RPM in 8 and gave my mailing address. I forwarded the mail from the property address to my mailing address in 8. I paid an outstanding lien from the previous owner within 5 business days and was told for a month that the lien delayed my account set-up. I paid the September HOA and asked about a special assessment. No response on the special assessment and no payment book received (required in FL), so I mailed the October HOA on 9/29 with a letter saying I got one forwarded letter sent to the property (an administrative error by RPM) and asked again to fix this. My October HOA payment and an extra $300 (since I couldn't confirm if a special assessment was in place) was cashed on 10/6 (I have a canceled check from the bank showing this) and then stamped as deposited on 10/7. RPM issued an estoppel for me to sell the townhouse on 10/7 showing the October HOA as outstanding, a late fee, and a $150 penalty payable to them for issuing an estoppel on a delinquent account stating that I owed $351.67. My account wasn't delinquent, as of 10/6 I had a $300 overpayment credit based on the 10/6 cashed check. I contacted RPM multiple times as did the title company to resolve the inconsistency of a credit on my account. Debra G. in Accounting confirmed that the payment coupon and all correspondence had mistakenly been sent to the property address, and she asked for my mailing address again. Heidi G. at RPM refused to fix the estoppel without me paying an extra fee, and she said even with an extra fee they wouldn't refund their $150 incorrect late fee at estoppel. The title company sent $351.67, leaving them with a $651.67 overpayment. In 11, they asked for my address again to refund. I gave it, and I haven't received any payment or response. I'm owed $651.67 plus interest.
