Reducing interest rate
Received call from a CSR named "Daniel". He said that his company provides the Master/Visa cards to banks and that the banks pad APR and his company could help reduce it if they speak to my bank. Even though he said that the company already knew my info, he wanted to know expiration date to verify they had the right card. He also said that if they were unable to reduce APR, I could talk to his manager for other options. FTC said customers have the ability to request lower APR themselves and chances are these other "options" will involved pointless fees that would not reduce APR. I explained this to him and he tried to claim he can't remove my number, but after I told him that I will list number on donotcall.gov, he rudely told me to enjoy my high APR and hung up.
Desired outcome: Worrying others to report at donotcall.gov and other outlets
Lower interest rate on credit cards
We get these calls a couple times a week. Sometimes its Rachel from card member services and other times. They don't give a name. I always just hang up.
interest rate reduction
On 4/18/19 at 1345 hours, this company called me from (916) 742-3943, asked me to press 9, and requested my cc numbers over the phone. Of course, I declined and they proceeded to ask if I had mastercards/visas and my approx. Total of debt. When I asked him to tell me the info they had on file for me, the male rudely stated, "ok, nevermind, bye!" beware of scammer company called, "card member services."
wanting credit card information
I have received well over 100 calls from card member services from many different # all over the usa. The recorded message goes something like "hello, this is rachel" would you like lower credit card interest rates as low as 6.9%.
I have no credit card debt, and five times I have pressed the number to talk to someone. Every time I kinda just listened to there pitch. These people actually claim to that they are you company that send your billing statements for your visa and master card etc.. When I start asking questions like where is this company, what is the llc name, 3 times I was told ### you, you just ###ing yourself and hung up on, today and other one they just hung up on me when I asked for information. Federal government need to find out who these people are and stop this, for it is every day often 2-3 times a day. Number this time was [protected]
unsolicited calls
These people have been calling me 8-10 times a week for the last 6-8 months, before that it was 1-2 times a week for a couple yrs...even after telling them Im on the National do no call list they still call back... have also pushed a button that says it will put you on their do not call list but that doesnt work either. There has to be a way to get them to quit calling..

Continually get numerous calls from this company.
If it is answered in error, I select to talk to someone and I request to take my phone number off the call list. They hang up.
My phone number is on the gov. Do not Call List.
These calls must stop!
card member services scam
I got the same call from Card Member Service - IT IS A SCAM. When I asked the dude, with a thick Indian accent named "James J Anderson", why he needs my CC number he said to bring my interest rates down. I told him these rates are between me and my bank. I'll call my bank. He kept refusing and then I told him I am busy leave me alone and he would not. Finally, I said I will give you my CC number if you give me yours with no intention to do so. He agreed and gave me his CC # with his name and expiration date. LOL! While he was waiting to get mine, I told him what about the security code and then he flipped out and started cussing at me and telling me to go #$%# myself, you @#$ARD... LOL. So, if there is a real James J Anderson, that dude just gave up your card number like it was nothing. Somebody need to get on this people.

harassing calls from credit card company
We receive about 6 to 8 calls every week from “This is Rachel at Card member services” . She goes on to say that there is not a problem with our account, but it is urgent that we contact them concerning our account. They want to lower our interest rate when we never pay any interest, we pay the balance each month. The message says to enter 3 if we do not want to hear any more about the account. I have done so on numerous occasions, and they still call back. They will not tell me which card they represent, just that i can reduce the rate. Since I am on the “do not call registry, I want these calls to stop.
Cardmember Services has been harassing us for over a year. Today we received two calls. One came while talking to the other. A day does not go by when we receive no calls from them. We swear at them, we waste their time. They hang up on us when we ask them to put us on a do no call list. What a joke. I hate these people. How do we stop them. Do not call list is a joke.
unwanted and repeated calls
I keep getting repeated calls from card member services all of which start off with "this is your final call to lower your interest rate." I don't know why I keep getting these calls, i'm on the do not call list and i've asked them to stop calling my cell phone and they refuse to. When actually asked why they keep calling me, they always slam the phone down.
How do I get these harassing calls to stop?
