Food Served
For over 3 months the food served has been darn near inedible. As residents food is included in out rent and we rely on the cook staff to provide, as advertised, heathy meal options. Often what is listed on the menu is not what is served. Further what we do get served is questionable, cheap and slimy. Fresh fruit has been removed and what little fruit we get has tons of processed sugar and is not a valid option as most residents are diabetics. Most residents, myself included, often go without eating because we are concerned about getting sick from the food. As mentioned, food is a part of our rent. Also, we don’t have kitchens so it’s not like we can make food ourselves in our apartments. Also, since we are all on fixed incomes, it’s not like we can afford to just go out and get other food everyday. Not to mention most of the residents have mobility issues where we can’t just drive elsewhere on our own. We feel trapped by this.
Claimed loss: Food is part of rent and is advertised as being health conscious for the elderly residents at the facility. I’ve been unable to eat most of the food which has been detrimental to my health.
Desired outcome: Serve food that is edible and healthy as you have advertised. Provide fresh fruit. Think about the health of the residents who rely on this for their entire diet.
Billing procedures
First you need to know it is the Marquette in East Lansing Mi. 48823. I have lived here for almost 4 years. in Apartment 111. At the end of February I was victim of Pishing here, Shannon called. Police while I talked with the (Pakistani's) culprits. I notified my bank, and we changed account numbers. Shannon processed an account notification. The bank changed the account and allowed transfers from my previous account. This was for March and early April, which you drew against. The bank according to our plan and assuming you processed the account change. On May ,2 I saw you had not withdrawn the money. I wrote check 1002 and submitted for processing. We again submitted another account change notification. On the 11 of May still no withdrawal. The Service Manager processed a payment on my Debit Card. That check hit the bank this morning and I have stopped payment for $32.00. I noticed you also over charged me $23.08 on the debit card transaction.
Desired outcome: I would like the $55.08 be credited to my account. Stop any data duplication against my account. I do not need you drawing against both the Debit card and the checking accounts
Employee Abuse
1. Constant threats - employees come to work in fear every single day... wondering if they will have a job tomorrow. Statements like "heads will roll" and "there will be blood" are basically burnt into our brains. 2. Micromanaging is an understatement. Constant bombardment of phone calls, e-mails, and instant messages from management to "check up" on...

I received a bill from holiday retirement in Shreveport, la n the mail.. Thinking that I do know that I owe around $6000, . WRONG ANSWER! It comes to $8, 646.06! I would say that we moved in march but I can't say that. In someway, we were forced to leave. We have been told that someone wrote letters anything about us that is a lie since the first letter. I won't go in detail unless u r interesting to know what happen? Everything they said is a lie; one letter after another... A resident wrote them and turned to the manager, Scott Hardin, who so happy to send it to corporate office. We could stay another month because we were treated badly. I can say this, if Scott Hardin and his wife should leave, , my husband and would be super happy to come back..

Non Union and Disloyal to employees
Holiday Retirement isn't for the employees. All they do is protect the managers who are non professional. The managers can treat the employees anyway they want and nothing will be done about it. They will treat a manager with royalty who has no experience, and an employee who has been with the company for years with disrespect.
