Infinity Dish Dish network

I signed up for Dish based on the fact I would receive a $200 Visa gift card.

After repeated calls I keep getting one excuse after another. This is a complete scam... and will NOT be renewing my contract when it expires.

Infinity Dish dish subscription

A satellite TV subscription order was processed against my knowledge and permission. On Feb 6, 2016 I phoned Infinity Dish for a quote based on their website ad. I spoke to their sales rep Dion. I asked about pricing, but he said to provide exact pricing he would need my information. When he asked for my Social Security and credit card numbers I reminded him I was not ready to order, I was just inquiring about pricing. Dion said that to receive free equipment leasing fees and the best discounted package they would need to run a credit report.
I provided the information and when Dion ran he said I qualified for their best promotion. I told him AGAIN that I wasn't ready to order but he provided the pricing and that the quote would be available until 2/9. If I wanted the subscription with DISH I would need to call back by then.
He then played a recording which stated my credit card would be charged a $49 subscription activation fee and hanging up on the call would constitute acceptance. When DION came back on the phone I emphatically stated I was NOT authorizing a charge to my credit card as I was NOT placing an order. He confirmed that my card would not be charged and no order was placed. If I didn't call back by Tuesday to lace the order the quote would expire.
I then received an email directly from DISH a few hours later thanking me for my new order and that an installer would be to my home Tuesday between 12 and 5pm. I phoned DISH immediately (not Infinity Dish - the 3rd party sales agency) explaining that I did not confirm and order and that I had only phoned Infinity Dish for pricing.
They cancelled the order immediately and confirmed I would not be in breach of contract or be assessed any cancellation or other fees. The DISH agent, Lisa advised me to check my credit card to see if Infinity Dish charged my card. I checked my credit card account and saw no charge was assessed. I immediately closed my credit card account to prevent fraudulent billing.
I was not out any money but want other consumers to now about the unethical practices of this company.
With all the customer complaints I later found on websites I don't know why DISH continues to do business with this agency.

I used to work here. Yes the processing fee is unnecessary, and yes Infinity Dish does provide a service for it. They unravel bundles and get customers the lowest possible rates for Internet, phone, and Dish Network on separate bills. Everyone that works here are people of a good and honest nature, simply trying to make a decent income to support their family in a job market with little prospects. I worked with artists, auctioneers, ex teachers, former business owners, accountants, and people with all other sorts of backgrounds. They are not scam artists, they are regular people like all of you, trying to make an honest living. The processing fee is on the recording, the sales person is required to explain what the processing fee is as well. There are several QA "Quality Assurance" points (used to be 21, maybe more now) each agent needs to discuss through every sale. That processing fee pays the majority of their commission. The company treats their employees terribly (mandatory 6th and 7th work days, mandatory overtime, always keeping you on the edge of your seat and reminding you how replaceable you are even if you're a good performer). There have been years employees have raised 10, 000 or more dollars to donate to various charities. The owners are very greedy and Ill tempered. I have had personal contact with Ken Rosen, and he is someone few people would work for if the job market were in better shape. As greedy as the owners are, they run a good company, with good people, and make sure they stay as compliant as possible to satisfy their customers, and their negotiations with Dish. If you have a problem with Dish using Third Party Retailers to market their products, then it's Dish Network who is the scam artists. Not the retailers. When you pay taxes, you go to an accountant. You pay that accountant for something you could do yourself. This scenario is no different.

I too, thought I was a part of a scam up until I went to http://www.infinitydish.com/terms-and-conditions and noticed they charge a NON-REFUNDABLE $49.99 application processing fee.

I recently had Dish installed in my home and the tech I spoke to never made it clear that their would be an outstanding processing fee. When I asked him what was the final price including fee la he had not went over he said only the price we had discussed would be it. He forgot to mention the processing fee for $50.00. It upsets me the tech was not honest and deceived me. I really thought Dish was was about integrity. I truly am disapointed with their misleading service.

I have had an exremely positive experience with Infinity! I have subscribed to the TV services while a series of well-spoken professionals walked me through the entire PROCESS and yes, I paid the PROCESSING fee! That fee covered a ton of relief. I called when I was tired of paying over 200.00 for cable bundle. I broke up the bundle and subscribed to Dish while then had 3 internet offers to choose from! Infinity Sales Group helped save me 75.00 A MONTH AND I have an incredible Home enertainment system of a HIGH quality. THANK YOU!

I will admit I do work for Infinity. This company is not a scam. We say we are an authorized retailer in the recording we play, and on the final popup we read before we create the account. Some customers just don't pay attention. The fact is, we provide you a service. And yes you can get similar service through dish directly. BUT. We have benefits Dish does not directly. If you sign up through us, we have our own referral program. Every time you refer someone and they give us your account number, we send you a 50 dollar check in the mail. We also have our own customer service department, less hold time for our customers. These may not be huge things but they do help. In the event you are not happy, there is a specific customer service number you can call to get the processing fee refunded. If you call the number on the flyer it will direct you to the sales floor, where I work. It frustrated workers because that call counts account their net percentage. YOU all need to call [protected] option 1. Do this and be patient it will be refunded in 3-4 business days. If you curse and yell and disrespect us, you will be hung up on. We just work for the company and try to support ourselves and our families the best we can. We are not responsible for the actions of the company. If we had it our way, we wouldn't charge the processing fee. WE HATE PROCESSING FEES AS MUCH AS YOU DO! But it is the owners policy (Ken Rosen). Also, there is no 49 dollar package. the two highest are the AT250 for 39.99, and the AEP for 74.99 + receiver charges. HOWEVER, doesn't matter how you add it up. No ones bill would ever be 49 dollars. based on the pricing it could be 47 or 54, but not 39.

For the person living in Oregon who wants to visit our office.

I too am dealing with this same issue. I was eventually transferred to the 3rd party "Dish Infinity" as I set up my services through them not informed I wasn't actually dealing with Dish directly. I also was scammed by a $49.95 charge to my bank. The sales rep claimed they needed an up front payment of $49.95 for the internet linked to ATT for activation of the internet services before they could proceed. I trusted this was legit until a service tech never showed for installation. I called ATT directly & was told by them that they infact do not require that payment & only $100 for the equipment and THEN you're billed $49.95 on your 1st bill. There is absouletly NO record in Dish or ATTs system of this payment. Though they both had my credit card information with Dish paid in full and ATT had my information incorrectly (that was documented & passed on by Dish Infinity) so my set up was canceled without my knowledge. Funny that this service rep for Dish Infinity had my info right for this "mysterious" payment that the other two head companies claim is not needed for set up. I spent 2hrs being put on hold between companies and transfers. I'm going to dispute this fradulant charge with my bank & have made reports to supervisers. I did a little research on this Dish Infinity and see nothing but reports of scam, mainly all for this $49.95 charge which appears people are being lied to what it's for. Where is this $ going and who are these people your having blind faith with your credit card info? Seems to me it might be time to start a country wide lawsuit against this company. I'm sure there are 100's of victims wanting their $ back and at that point a list of their consumers will ne notifued and asked abput this issue happening.

I called Infinity last night for the general information about the package S19.99. The representative asked me for my social security number and my credit card number to be able to answer my questions. I gave him my numbers. Then he and his supervisor forced me to buy the $49.00 package and forced me to listen to the disclosure. I refused them and hung up my phone. The representative called me back to continue to sell me their products and gave me a "temporal account number" asked me to call him back two days latter to set up a installation appointment. I refused him. I emphasized to him that I DID NOT want their products!

Ten minutes later, when I checked my credit card account, I found the infinity already charged me without my permission. This is the most dirty company I have ever deal with. Please do not give them any your information. I will report them to FCC.

I'm experiencing the same situation. I was not informed this was a third party and I would be charged for installation. I was told I rated so high that my installation was free. However, 2 charges showed up on my Bank Statement one for $49.99 and the other for the first month charges. I called back the Dish number I initially called and now I'm being giving other numbers to call. Dish keeps apologizing for Infinity, but tell me there is nothing they can do. This is a scam if ever there was one, take your money and start giving you the run around. I will take your advise and follow each step as necessary. If Dish knows this behavior is taking place they should part company with Infinity otherwise they too are complicit in dirty dealings.

Infinity Dish false advertisement

Infinity Dish advertises the following for Dish Network:
“Free Activation ($99 Value)”
“Free up to 6 Room Installation”
“Free HD for Life”
“Free Room 2 Room HD-DVR Upgrade ($6/mo DVR service fee applies)”

We called and asked very specific questions because we have 2 HD televisions. We wanted the “whole house” DVR service as advertised by their competition, and we made it very clear that that is what we wanted or the equivalent. We asked very specifically to verify free activation, if that was for 1 or for both televisions. We asked very specifically to very installation, if that was for 1 or for both televisions. We asked very specifically about the HD-DVR and if the $6 DVR service was total or for each television. We were told that the activiation, installation, and service fee would be for both televisions, with $3/month for the DVR service for 12 months, with the cost going to $7 per DVR per month after one year.

It was a different story when the installers arrived. The installation order was only for one HD DVR and for one standard television. There were 3 separate calls to Dish Network and Infinity Dish. The “best” offer to get what we thought we were already getting was to pay an additional $99 for activation and an additional $17 per month for the 2nd HD DVR. I consider this a serious breach in “truth in advertising”, and I can’t imagine how $17 additional per month translates to “Free HD for life”. I currently pay only $10.95 for HD DVR service with cable, and certainly do not intent to pay more when all of the Dish Network advertising claims state that they save you money over cable television. They are guilty of false advertising, and we were almost pressured into paying more.

Watch out for these people. DO NOT trust Infinity Dish or Dish Network.

They have a FRAUD DIVISION and WILL "go to BAT" for you too! I DID CHANGE my Debit Card # (at NO charge) as well so they could NOT withdraw any more MONEY !.
I used them about a month ago when a Skin Care Company was charging me for product I had NOT received. Well, "RipOff" got me my MONEY BACK as well as SHIPPING Charges and FREE PRODUCT too! :)

We were charged two "processing" fees on the same day and when I tried to contact Infinity 4 diffrent times there was no answer after letting the phone actually ring on speaker phone for 5 minutes. No voice mail system - nothing. I carefully checked to see if I called the correct number - YES! I called customerservice for Dish Network only to find out that "Infinity Dish" is a 3rd-party installer and they have absolutely no way of reaching them. I did an online chat with "Michael" and he gave me the same number, assuring me that Dish Network only charges the monthly fee. I had been reassured by David emp# 6368 on 6/25 that the total charge for our first month would be $114.61 - 3 tv's all HD, etc., etc. I am very angry that noone at Dish can contact Infinity Dish - period! If they are contracted to Infinity and have to arrange with them to install, then why can they not contact them? We are now going to the bank to protest the second charge and contacting our attorney for breach of contract.

We were also scammed by this company. After setting up work order with Infinity, I was little curious about the $49.95 fee and did some research online. There were so many complaints about this company and we also came to find out that if you sign up directly through Dish Network you don't have to pay that processing fee.

So, we called Dish network immediately (within 24 hrs after setting up the work order with Infinity ) and cancelled the work order and got the refund for the programming charge that was charged by Dish Network. But they sad they couldn’t refund the processing fee since it was charged by their third party retailer INFINITY DISH or INFINITY SALES GROUP. So, I called Infinity to ask for my refund and they kept transferring the call to the Dish Network customer Service and even hung up my call few times.

After, wasting about 100 minutes of our cell phone minutes going back and forth between Infinity and Dish customer service, I had had it. I was pissed…I mean really pissed. I was motivated to do anything possible to get my money back. To be honest, it wasn’t even about the money anymore, it was about what is right and what is wrong. So, if you really want your hard earned money back from these thieves, here is what you need to do.

a) Dispute the charge with the credit card company or the bank claiming it was a fraud charge since you can’t get hold of anyone at Infinity.

b) Filed complaint at Better Business Bureau www.bbb.org. Type in your zip code and then click on File a complaint. Then keep following the on screen steps. When asked about the company you want to file complaint against, Type: Infinity Sales Group, LLC, P.O. Box 810491, Boca Raton, FL 33481. Then, write briefly what happened. Make sure to ask for the refund and also write that you want Infinity to remove your name, address and credit number from their data base. Don't forget to submit your complaint.

c) Also, file complaint at (www.infsalesgroup.com/contact). This is Infinity (or Info Sales Groups) legal website. It took me a while to find this out. Briefly write down what happened and ask for your refund. Make sure to include your name, address and the dish acct number the sales guy gave to you through the phone.

D) Lastly, EDUCATE, EDUCATE! Tell everyone you know (friends, family, neighbor, blogs...etc) about your horrible experience with Dish Infinity so that you can save them from getting ripped off.

I hope this helps

Infinitydish is a scam. The owners know the ads are misleading, but still allow them to be published. Their agents work off of commission so they will say and do anything to make the sale. Be very careful giving your credit card information, as the agents will charge your card on another customers account because they copy and paste the credit card information as well as write the info down which is a violation of PCI compliance. Go thru DISH directly it will save you money

Yes, same thing happened to me with Infinity Dish! Very specifically says "2 Room HD DVR Upgrade", "FREE service on second TV", "Free Activation ($99.99 Value)", "The most HD channels in the business", "Highest quality picture in the business", "Rated #1 in Customer Service"... In fact no where on this page does it say anything about only one TV being HD and one being just standard. In fact no where does it even say the word "standard" anywhere on the page! But when the technician came to install that was the first and only time ever that I was told that only ONE of the two TVs is HD! THIS IS BLATANT BAIT & SWITCH ADVERTISING! And when I talked to several different tiers of customer service, the best I could get was, "Well if you want HD in two rooms then you need to pay an additional $99 up front cost and then an additional $10 per month rental fee for the additional box". QUITE SIMPLY I ORDERED 2 ROOM HD DVR UPGRADE AS A PART OF THEIR CURRENT PROMO PACKAGE BUT THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU GET! BEWARE... I cancelled the service while the technician was there out of principle alone, that is simple wrong and pisses me off... beware of Infinity Dish and Dish Network... slimey business practices folks!

Infinity Dish non refund of cancelled service

On November 8, 2009, I ordered Dish Television through Infinity Dish. I was told it was required to give them $49.95 to get Dish Tv started. This fee we refundable if cancellation was within three days which is in accordance with Maine State law.

On November 9, 2009 I cancelled Infinity Dish and cancelled the installation and also requested a refund. I was told the refund would be credited to my card within three weeks or so. I called them again a short time later and told them the money had not been refunded yet. I was told by their representative that he had just processed the refund approval and I should see it in a week or so on my next statement..

It is now February 25, 2010 and my statement still does not show the refund. I attempted to call them today and was told the number was no longer in use and I should go through the yellow pages to find the company. The original number was [protected]=3357.

I have been given the runaround for the past three months and I'm now pretty sure they have no intention of processing my refund. This to my way of thinking, blatant thievery. I need help to resolve the problem and recover my $49.95.

They are running a scam!We signed up for Dish network cable package through an authorized 3rd party retailer, Dish Infinity on 4/1/12. We were charged of processing fees of $49.95 by Dish Infinity and programming fee of $37.18 by Dish Network. On the same day, we were researching about Dish Infinity online and found out that there were a lot of negative comments/reviews/complaints about Dish Infinity so we called Dish Infinity on the same day to cancel our purchase, we were told that we had to contact their costumer service the next day. When we called Dish Infinity the next day, 4/2/12, they kept transferring us from one department to another and even hung up the call several times. So, we called the parent company, Dish Network to close the account. We are promised to get $37.18 refunded back to our account. We were also told that they will not be able to refund $49.95 as it was charged by their third party retailer. We spent more than 100 cell phone minutes to get hold of Dish Infinity to get that refund back, but no success. We are disputing the charges as a fraudulent charges with our credit card company (Chase). The dispute process will most likely take 3-4 weeks before we find out if we will get our refund. This whole process has been very frustrating and we feel very helpless. It is very sad that so many innocent people like us are getting ripped off everyday and no actions have been taken against this company, DISH INFINITY. At the same time we blame Dish Network as well, since they know how Dish Infinity is treating their customers and wont do anything about it.

I also cheated by Infinity Dish. They told me that dish can't be installed due to direction problem and promised me that every penny will be returned. But still didn't return processing fee 49.95 $. Nobody talk on customer service. They don't display any address on their website. Parent Company Dish is watching all this fraud and not even revealing any information about Infinity Dish. I feel this is joint robbery of Dish and its retailer companies. How easy it to fraud people. They don't fear from legal. So unfortunate.

We were charged $49.95 on the day BEFORE our installation. Infinity was unable to install service. After several phone calls and the run-around, we were promised a $49.95 refund on our next credit statement. We had to dispute the charge with our credit card company. After 3 months, our credit card company finally got our refund. We have told everyone we know what crooks Infinity Dish is!

Infinity Dish unauthorized charges to credit cartd

I was going to sign up for satellite television through Dish Network but I got cold feet last minute and cancelled the order. I was assured there would be no charges associated with this order until the install technician received my signature in person on the order. Nonetheless, an unauthorized charge of $49.95 showed up on my credit card statement two weeks later. I tried to contact Dish Network about the charges - and they told me I placed the order through a "third party retailer" whatever that is. At no time when I was placing the order, was I ever ever told I was not dealing directly with Dish Network. I then went through a Kafka-esque series of phone calls to people who re-routed me to other people, other offices, other companies. I even had one woman give me the number I called to reach her office! Infinity Dish also apparently operates under another name - "E-management" - and I was unable to speak to one single representative from the company. Dish Network tried to pass off the responsibility to this elusive 3rd party retailer claiming it wasn't their fault. The telephone number for Infinity Dish on the credit card statement is not in service. When I tried to obtain a phone number for the company on the web, my online search revealed dozens of complaints for this company. I have since had to stop payment and cancel the card since they obviously have my card on file. This whole experience is a complete waste of time and I simply don't understand how or why so many companies today are operating under fraudulent pretenses instead of simply offering the services they claim to provide. I hold both Dish Network and Infinity Dish to blame as both companies are obviously in cahoots with this fraudulent scheme and know most people don't have the time or wherewithal to follow up as I am doing now. I am totally disgusted and still out $49.95.

Horrible, horrible, horrible organization. People are rude, disrespecturl and completely unable to address issues. do yourself a favor and NEVER, NEVER use this company. They lie, they steal and they will do nothing to help you. Dish Inc. will also do nothing and simply say that Infinity Dish is a separate company and they have no control or ability to intervene on a customer's behalf. I filed a formal complain with Dish corporate but they refuse to follow up and will do absolutely nothing to help a customer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This is an utter scam!

DISH NETWORK SCAM-protect your cards, DISH is running multiple scams. Our 49.99 charge was applied to my credit card after we signed up for DISH using a Frontier Vision Bundle offer. At no time during the call did the DISH person identify himself as an INFINITY DISH employee or a third party vendor. The charge was required for "equipment deposit" and was billed to me by INFINITY. A few hours later DISH network charged us a service fee. I did not agree to do business with Infinity, nor did I authorize Infinity to charge my card, nor have I ever received any equipment from INFINITY. DISH denies having billed my card for the 49.99 and INFINITY cannot be reached because all calls to INFINITY go directly to DISH. A couple of weeks later a charge appeared on my card from a company called TECH SUPPORT. After weeks of investigation I learned that DISH works with these third party vendors and allows them to offer additional services at additional fees, they are not optional services and the terms are not explained in detail. According to the "fraud department" at DISH, the recording you listen to agreeing to DISH service automatically assigns billing privileges to any of the vendors they have contracts with. Interestingly, DISH also denied affiliation with Frontier Vision, who also bills me for DISH services. There was no fine print and no 3rd party disclosures, a scam through and through.

Dish Network dba Infinity Dish Retained $49.95 they obtained directly from my bank account under the scam RUSE TITLE of "IT Please" on 07/30/2014.
I canceled my order with Dish within a few days before any service, of any kind, was delivered and/or obtained. They credited my bank account with $52.54 on 08/07/2014 and kept $49.95 listed on my bank statement as "IT Please [protected] FLL debit".
They have ignored attempts to return my $49.95 for the non obtained fraudulent service charge..
I have filed a criminal complaint with the FBI Criminal Internet Crime Division as recommended during an interview with one of their special agents.on the FBI Internet address: www.IC3.gov.

In the start of the call they do tell us that it's a one time processing fee of $49.95 for generating the work order and at the end of the call not only that the sales agent told me about the $49, 95 the automatic disclosure and the verbal disclosure was repeated 3 times so it's imposable they we did not know if they told us minimum 3 times i tell u because i to was deducted the $49.95 but i agree with the charge because i heard the sales agent

I totally agree the whole idea of stating that they use "Altitude Marketing" a third party retailer is wrong because it isn't true! When you call DISH they give you a supposed number to call and try and get a refund for the "alleged" processing fee from the "alleged" third party is a fraud. The give away on their scam is that every number you call for the third party company is really just a DISH number, so you reach a DISH representative, not the supposed Altitude Marketing company. The representative answers your call as a DISH representative then changes their name to Altitude Marketing when you explain that you are trying to contact Altitude Markeiting! When I alleged Altitude Marketing rep made me listen to the entire conversation with the DISH rep who placed my order for service to verify that I was not told about the $49.99 "processing fee". The recording proved I had not been told of the fee and she said I would be given a full refund.

I did the same thing. I called dish but I didn't really know I was calling dish infinity. They didn't introduced their self as dish infinity so when you are on the phone already you don't really have a chance to think too much especially if you speak with good trained rep. So I ordered dish network. The very next day I saw there were 2 charges on my credit card. The one from the dish for one month in advance and the other one from dish infinity for the processing fee. If I called the dish directly I would have not be charged any processing fees! I went ahead and canceled the whole thing. So I called infinity dish to tell them I'm canceling. They redirected me to the dish network so I could canceled. They supposed to refund the amount for the monthly fee they charged. Then I had to call the infinity again to tell them I cancelled and I need my refund for the processing fee. Well they said they will refund me but they have to keep $10 anyway. Now I will give a wait and next month will call dish directly and buy their service without any processing fees. So stupid. I really want the dish but not this way.

I called [protected] and I have the same problem. However, I called that number and will receive a return of $39.95 within 5-7 business days. The charge a $10 admin fee for the credit. At least I got most of it back.

Going thru the same thing, I agreed to a one-time fee so my brother could get Dish Network, and ever since they have been billing me and I have tried to call them and get it straightened out. The young lady last month said she would remove my CC number and I wouldn't be charged again, but I was charged again and even more money this time. I have called my CC and filed a dispute for fraudulent charges.

I hope this gets worked out soon, it wastes alot of time and money.

I am on the same problem with you. I too was charged a 49.95 fee onto my card. I was told that they would charge me for a "process fee" i cancelled right after they set up my account. But was told that the process fee would include "service installation" They have not provided me with that service. Therefor i am entitled to receive my money back. Infinity Dish wrongfully charged

I initially called Dish Network on 4/23/2009 to establish service. The sales rep explained that I would be charged an installation fee of 59.95 today once we finalize the order. He then proceeded to let me listen to some disclosures. I was overwhelmed by all the fees and he stated that is standard procedures and I didn't have anything to worry about. Once the recording ended I was very skeptical about setting up service with them so I hesitated to complete the order. He then began to explain the different packages available and the fees for 6 months along with other services and benefits I was eligible for. At this point, I knew I didn't want to deal with this company. I explained to the salesman I needed to speak to my husband. He then put another person on the phone to reassure me of their services and offers were the best in the business. I understood very well but they did not want to lose the sale. I informed the salesman that I would call back once I had the opportunity to think about it. I did not call back that day. I called the next morning when the technician came out to establish the service. The customer service rep after several 800 calls explained that the service had been cancelled and I would not be charged. The explaination in the notes was "unable to get a line of site at location". I was okay and ended the call. Upon checking my account today, I noticed that I was in fact charged the 59.95 and 1.40 for magazines that I do not want. I called Dish Network and they stated there is nothing they can do. I had to call several 800 numbers and finally got the Infinity Dish sales group customer service. They stated that they would have to pull the tape and determine whether I could be refunded. This would take at least ten days. I received a follow-up call after lunch stating that they in fact listened to the tape and I would not be receiving a refund. I was livid. I did not receive service nor have any equipment and am still be charged 59.95. This is very bad business for this company and I don't physically reside at the address I was trying to establish service.

Yes, there is nothing that is free but if you cancel the same night you call for someone to not come and install their equipment, and they are quick to charge you immedialtely, who are they? Scam artists! I am a student not working. I was desperate to save some cash. Their ads are a hoax to get you to fall for them with the $300 grocery card, or the other gifts you choose. Honestly, I am now certainly proud to stick with DirecTV cause in the long run, there is nothing much saved (according to the channels I insist on having) and I am not committed to a bunch of theives. I proudly called my credit card company to close it and send me a card with a new number to protect myself. While that happened, they found that 85.95 was charged instead of 59.99. Nothing that I can think of adds up to that amount bearing in mind that I chose the Bronze package with locals. We'll see how it goes. or else, they'll be following me on a trip to the county courtroom!

I sold and installed Dish Network in a small town in Central Kentucky for 10 years and have been put out of business by all the fancy advertisements from companies like Infinity. I usally receive calls from angry customers after they fell for their scams and when I asked them why they didn't call their LOCAL, Dish company was told they fell for the "FREE" offers. I remind them that nothing is "Free" and explain to them the scam and usually end up with a service call to go out and install the Dish equipment correctly. I asked Dish Network about this company but like consumers get the same old, "we can't tell them how to run their business" treatment. Now if I were to pull a con like that being a small mom and pop I'd be shut down tomorrow. The only thing I can suggest is that customers call their local BBB "Better Business Bureau". They have been able to help more than one customer that I've referred to them. The most important thing to remember is that there is no such thing as "FREE".

Infinity Dish fraudsters and cheaters

Do not do business with Infinity Dish. I should have known better not to deal with them from the beginning. I was hung up on twice. I have been with Dish Network since Nov of '08. And I just recently got my 'gift' of a $300 gas card, or should I say redemption certificate with a price tag on its head. I have to pay $35 just to get the gift and then I am required to spend 100 monthly in order to receive $25. When I told the barely english speaking person that I don't spend that kind of money on gas monthly, I was told I was not qualified. Then they want credit card info, including your 3 digit number on the back for God knows what if you're sending a money order or check and when I asked why, no one knew. These people are classic scam artists and I can't believe Dish is still doing business with them even though they said they have been getting complaints from them. They continue to allow their potential customers to get ripped off. I was offered one month of free service and $50 credit, wow. That's $200 I'm still out. I plan to leave dish and break this stupid contract since they don't seem to care about their customers and I'm filing a complaint with the BBB and consumer affairs and Dish will be forced to stop doing business with these scammers. I'm reporting dish network too because they are just as much to blame.

They are running a scam!We signed up for Dish network cable package through an authorized 3rd party retailer, Dish Infinity on 4/1/12. We were charged processing fees of $49.95 by Dish Infinity and programming fee of $37.18 by Dish Network.

These guys lied, they charged me an order processing fee, and promised it would be refunded if I was unable to get HD service at my house. They never refunded their fee and their phone number on the credit card statement was disconected. I filed a complaint with the credit card company and the state of GA office of Consumer affairs with unethical sales practices. I hear attorney general's in several states are looking at dish and their agents.
