Rocket League Sideswipe This is a Fun broken game

This is a fun broken game. It has high octane gameplay with ease of use but with the broken controls/controller it is also easy to put down.

The controller is just broken. You press boost and it automatically uses all your boost even after you let go of the button. Sometimes your car doesn’t automatically land on its wheels and it’s stuck on its back. Other times your on the ground and your boost doesn’t automatically refill until you spam every button possible. This has happens with both my ps5 and ps4 controller via Bluetooth.

Without a controller it’s virtually impossible to boost and jump at the same time. They tried to make a button for it and it works good for the initial jump but not so much for the flip and you will end up with more button then you have thumbs. I wish they would give me an option to use my volume button for boost.

The camera is good when it work but I find when the ball is above your opponent goal then you can’t see your car if you are in your net or on the ground. This make defending this way harder it force you to have to always be nearer to the ball just to be aware of the ball and yourself. I would suggest there be a toggle for me to not have a dynamic camera and it just have a stationary camera where I can see the whole field. Maybe again one of the volume buttons can be this toggle.

There is a bunch to love about this game from the mini game in training where you trying to keep the ball up for as long as possible to the crazy flip resets goals all over the place. But with the controller issues it gets a 3 out of 5 .

Rocket League Sideswipe It’s exactly what I expected

This game is great. There are only 3 game modes right now, being ones, twos, and hoops, but the game delivers. I know a lot of people were upset that NA and EU were released later, but the servers so far are extremely stable and I am happy we did not get a rushed product. This is a polished game that takes inspiration from the original rocket league while still being its own experience. Some things I would like to see would be some sort of club system like how rocket league has, maybe a new game mode, and some custom training packs. Other than that, which psionix has already said they are considering adding, this game is perfect. It’s one of the only mobile games that actually takes mechanics to learn and to master which is something interesting.
Now, I think the biggest thing people might complain about, but I think is actually good, is the lack of in-app purchases. I am sure that from a business standpoint it would be good to add this in, but honestly I hope they keep it this way. Yes, I want to support the company with my money, but this games currency system is just so intuitive that there is no need to buy the currency. Basically, you get points by opening crates, but you can also sell your items for more credits. I think being able to buy bundles with just real world money like rl and not buying the currency would be a better way of going about iap, but I digress.
This game is good. If you don’t like rocket league, get it. If you do like rocket league, you will love it. Seriously, I’m shocked this game is free. Love you psionix, you’ve done it again.

Rocket League Sideswipe Last update probz

I realize there was an issue with people quitting to save their rank but now any match that has really bad connection issues goes completely one sided and leaving the match ranks you down so what other options are there but to "forfeit" your rank when I understand network problems aren’t solely anyone’s fault per say but geez man the amount of time spent practicing to get better means nothing when I can’t utilize my skills in any pvp match. Also..

I logged into 2 devices. Phone and iPad. With the same account and the progress only saves for each device if that makes sense. Basically whatever I do on my iPad doesn’t get transferred to my phone or vice versa. Idk if that’s how it’s designed. I love this game the gameplay is amazing the physics are so perfect I just keep finding more ways to play. Very user friendly interface.

I also noticed when you send invite for a party or "start" a party even if the player hasn’t joined and you happen to start/search for multiplayer match you stay in the party and makes things a little haywire as far as menu diagnostics and if my headphones are on I can here all this chattering and different sound bytes like it’s wanting to shutdown or something or maybe to many menus going at once anyways if they join late it really screws with the interface and gameplay. Tends to lag heavy as well if not already and mostly I’m on unlimited 5G with Verizon and/or Cricket wireless. Tower coverage is outstanding. Lots of fiber optics going in around the area and service for the towers from what I can see but shoot man if the lag could just tune down 15% I’d be a happy boy. Whatever happens with the game. Guess I’ll keep practicing! Thanks

Rocket League Sideswipe I literally quit playing all my other mobile game because this game was hot , “was” until S4

I literally quit playing all my other mobile game because this game was hot , “was” until S4. I’ll admit that the new casual game is something fun and new. The new cars, explosions, boosts etc..I, and many other, DO NOT like some of the mechanical changes. People have played and grinded this game for so long, and gotten precise controls, but then things get changed around, not cool.
I have never once lagged playing this game, until S4. With the updates and all with the season update push backs, we kind of expected more . Now, I/we lag nonstop on the same WiFi that I’ve always had (900mbs) and even on 5g iPhone 13pro max 512g with reputable carrier; also same phone that I’ve had since the game dropped. Never lagged once until now.
Also, it’s quit annoying ONLY having the same 2 casual game options plus newly “testing” game. It’d be way cool if you had the option for any of the game modes to be played in casual at any time, but have featured playlist with ranked matches. I find myself playing a little less every day for that reason alone. It’s fun game, but just gets old really fast with having limited options for game modes, customizations, cars, challenges etc. Like what are you guys going to do when people really stop playing for a few seasons because of limitations? I bet all of you programmers would lose your minds.

HIGHEST SUGGESTION-

Lastly, if you really wanted to get peoples attention, UPDATE THE SAME LOUSY ANNOYING MUSIC PLAYLIST THATS BEEN THE SAME SINCE S1. We appreciate the free rocket pass for mobile, but we ALL know that the over priced rocket pass on console definitely compensates enough for someone to find and add a few lines of code for have wayyyyyy more of a variety

Rocket League Sideswipe Good game, however…

The game is fun, but it has some issues and I have some ideas that I think would overall make the game a little more enjoyable. To begin, the games starting frames and quality is way too high. I have an iPhone 11 and playing this game when I first got it drained my entire battery in about 2 hours. Secondly, there needs to be a more effective teammate selector. I think at the very least for plat and below, random doubles should not give you the same teamate twice in a row. The amount of games where I’ve played with a horrible teamate, forfeit, and then get matched with them again is depressing. Next, The shop in my opinion should be updated a little more frequently, because after a while I’m stuck with a surplus of coins that I can only waste on the common box which isn’t really worth it once you get to 500 coins. Also, I think there should be an auto-salvage feature, because for some things like banners, emojis, etc. they just take up space and there’s no reason to have more than one. (There is also, as far as I know, no way to salvage the little headlines, or extra emojis, which is frustrating) and lastly the upstate’s are horrendously long. I know all games need some updates, however the amount of time and storage an update on this game takes is absurd. even for small, one bug fixes, it takes almost a gigabyte and takes a super long time on my iPhone 11, which is irritating because usually when I’m trying to play is when my friends want to play, so having to post-pone 20 minutes because the game has a small bug fix is pretty aggravating. The last problem I had is that after an update, if someone parties up with a person who hasn’t updated their game yet, all 4 players just wait there, and then the game auto cancels. Other than that, the gameplay is fun and there aren’t many major problems.

Rocket League Sideswipe Long awaited

I’ve followed up on this game ever since the announcement of it’s creation. I was sad to see it had launched in Australia first, but it finally arrived to the global play store. This game is awesome, it’s graphics and animations are cute, but not over the top as a mobile game should be. The mechanics are put together beautifully.

Now for the cons. Just like RL it can be quite laggy sometimes and I have a fairly new iphone X, so I believe that falls under the servers. Especially when playing with friends. I don’t mean to be that guy, but there are some unfair advantages that people take over this game. 1. People in Australia have had almost a year to practice and improve, look at the high ranked individuals on youtube and twitch, most are Australian. Just kind of a bummer. 2. This is a mobile game, you should have to play on a hand held device, whether it is a phone or a 10 foot long iPad. I would feel like scum if I downloaded an emulator on my $5k pc with a 3070 graphics card and hardwired ethernet, connected my controller just to clap some kids on a MOBILE game. Defeats the purpose completely, and I would just go play actual RL at that point. I wouldn’t argue with this if Epic Games actually put sideswipe on their launcher, which they won’t. It’s an easy way out type deal to me, again sorry for being that guy.

This could be the most played mobile game ever with a few tweaks. The game is still new, so I’m sure we can expect good things to come. But if this game wants to be consistent to people other than RL fans/players, it should consider banning the use of controllers, because I’m sure the majority of players using them are RL fans/players, and average friends of mine have a hard time finding joy/progress in the game with so many people having prior knowledge of the game mechanics while also using controllers.

Much love for this game and it’s creators, Psyonix

Rocket League Sideswipe Good Game but still some things to be worked on

So the other day I wanted to just chill out right, not play with actually good people. And so as I join the match, he scores and it says s1 gold, and I’m wondering like “this guy must be a platinum cause I was gold last season and now I’m platinum” and I’m thinking that in a casual you get put with like bronze silver and maybe some golds, but no I get put with the same rank as me. So I say what’s the point and join a ranked duel and the guys scores and it says he’s a diamond…. I’m plat 3. He’s doing all the nice fancy stuff and now I’m plat 2. I really think you guys should work on who your getting queued with because it leaves a big disadvantage to people who are not so good at the game but made it to plat and are getting queued with diamonds. Like sometimes when I was a gold I got queued with platinums, and one time in volleyball I was a gold 4 and got queued with a diamond. That’s a big difference. We lost like 12-3. Sometimes I say before the season ends like don’t play or you’ll lose your rank to diamonds and have to try to get your rank back from gold. Other than this and the lags. The game is pretty good. Another thing is the bonus exp, sometimes I would spend hours playing the normal rocket league, and then hop onto sideswipe and win a match and get no exp. I noticed this at the close end of the season. And I was wondering, “Is it a short piece of time that you can play and get the exp bonus?” And even if I tried to play sideswipe literally after I finished playing rocket league, still no bonus. And since the normal exp grant for each match is like 250 exp, that’s 20 and more matches including the ones you lose just to get one tier up. It took me ten days just to get like 10 or 11 tiers. I really think (for me at least) that the bonus exp is really helpful and pretty much and needed. I really think that you guys should figure these things that I listed out, even though I enjoy playing the game, these things make it seem like work, and it’s not supposed to be work. It’s supposed to be fun

Rocket League Sideswipe Great Core Gameplay, but missing features from main Rocket league

After around a week, I've been really enjoying Sideswipe. The hype definitely lived up to its name. We all love a game on where its quick. But as a long term rocket league fan since 2016, i feel like there are some things missing from the game.

1-default customization,
In rocket league, once you get a new car, you will be automatically be given a set of decals for free. In sideswipe, there are no free decals, no free wheels, no free hats ( i get the hats cause us competitive players dont use hats). Im really bummed that there are no antennas, as when rocket league launched in 2015 for all consoles and for steam, there were antennas.

2-lack of maps,
The lack of maps can be frustrating and i feel like the community can back me up on this. Now i know the game just launched, but there are only three maps. Dunk house, S.C field, and the 1v1 map. In today’s standards for map release, we expect more than just 3 maps. I really hope there are more maps in the coming months.

3-The Rocket Pass leveling system.
There is absolutely no hate about the regards being free in the Turbo Season. The will attract a lot of players to come and join. But i feel like the main downside to this is the leveling. Every 5 levels, you are forced to play more to get more experience which goes up by 500 exp ( the default being 500 exp until level 5 goes up to 1,000, and so on) I definitely feel like the leveling system needs a fix.

4-Trading,
As somewhat of a trader myself, I’m really disappointed to not see the game launch with trading. This is one of the main features on Rocket League and one of the main ways to get items if you dont have money. Again this is a free to play game with no micro transactions, so i do kinda get for trading not being launched, but if some one has like a titanium white atomizer, i would put up offers because its hard to get.

Overall. Im very impressed on how the game launched, thank you Psyonix and Epic Games for bringing Rocket League to our mobile devices. The hype lived up to our expectations.

Rocket League Sideswipe Just awful

I already wrote a review but I am doing another to tell what I did not in the last one, so to begin let’s start with ranking just bad for starters why am I playing against diamond people and I am a platinum with a silver teammate if I que for let’s say platinum 1 doubles I should get equal opponents like ranging from gold 5 to platinum 1 not having mixed match teammates and opponents, second is the item shop the first season I noticed the “party time” goal explosion was in the shop for 30 DAYS like what that’s way to long not just that but how expensive the items are like 800 for a uncommon traffic cone hat seriously if they are that expensive put for sp for the weekly challenges, 3rd is what you get in the daily free draw and in the presents you could get the same item in a row but instead maybe once you get it you can’t get it again it would make the game more fun to actually progress through, number 4 is the way you can change your name if you play on your Facebook account and not your epic games account you can’t change your name like why maybe you could do like codm and give up name cards or something to change our names with, number 5 casuals for casuals I only play it if I am trying to level up but all the sweats play casual so they don’t lose their rank maybe once you get past a specific rank you cant play it like I am playing against diamonds in casual and they sweat their butt off for not reason, number 6 and my last one is lag and the unfairness for lag even if I am on good internet I lag and I don’t realize until I end up scoring on my opponent and it does not count I don’t get like a warning or anything it just keeps going, for unfairness when I try to jump forward off a wall I end up just jumping strait that way but not like a fast jump just like a little pop of the wall not only that but just how the ball goes in the net when I shoot the ball it hits the very slim hair of the rim but when my opener shoots it’s a STRAIT NET JUST A WHOLE GOAL LIKE REALLY (FIX YOUR STUPID GAME PLEASE) I loose my mind trying to even play two games like after two games I rage quit because of the unfairness please fix your game

Rocket League Sideswipe Matchmaking is absolutely terrible

Love the game overall, which is the reason I still have it installed. If you’re like me, you usually don’t have anyone to party up with, specifically to rank up like crazy. If that’s true, then you also know about the terrible matchmaking system when teaming up with randoms.

I’m currently stuck in platinum because I’ve been doing ranked games with randoms for awhile now. I know that Im decent enough to make it to diamond because I did it in season 1, but I always have to ask myself the question: are my teammates decent enough to even play in this rank? The answer is 90% of the time NO. As I’m writing this review I had three games in a row where I could not believe what I was seeing in front of me.

The first game, my teammate was playing like a silver. His shots weren’t coordinated, he often ball chased which prevented me from ever playing offense or else we just get scored on, and he missed all of his shots (they weren’t even near it). Next game, my teammate plays like a BRONZE. Yes, I am not kidding. He misses every single chance he gets to hit the ball and fails to save the goal 3 times. I almost forgot to mention that the opposing team had a season 2 champion… yeah. At this point I was already losing my mind, but it wasn’t over. The third and final game of this day, it seemed to go so smoothly at first. I scored and he praised me, then I nearly missed the save and he hated me (this is normal tm8 behavior), and as soon as that happened he voted to forfeit! I’m talking 1-1 score, and he FORFEIT. Right after that he stopped playing and started throwing by not doing anything. In the end he also own goaled, just do rub it in. I reported him and I hope he gets banned, but this is what did it for me.

Reminder that these three games were all specifically me playing in plat 4. I saw no ounce of skill within my teammates and I had to attempt to carry every time. It feels like every time I get close to ranking up, the game gives me teammates that have no idea what they’re doing. Please fix your cursed matchmaking system, it’s broken to the point where it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Moral of the story: play with friends, not randoms.

Rocket League Sideswipe Excellent game, would recommend

If you enjoy the 3D Rocket League, this is a very enjoyable game for mobile. This one is easier to pick up and learn and get good at than the real Rocket League, since it only requires you to master 2 dimensions of movement. I feel like Psyonix did a great job of translating Rocket League into a mobile experience.
I also liked the addition of talking with emotes instead of text or voice chat, as it limits the amount of toxicity that can be expressed. The worst you can really do is throw out a sarcastic “What a Save” when you score a goal, or spam angry faces when you lose. This makes the game more enjoyable.
One of the best things about this game is the utter lack of in-app purchases. There are no ads and no way to spend any real money on the app. All current cosmetics are available free with in-game currency and the battle pass (Rocket pass) is also completely free. This is sure to change of course, because Psyonix needs some way to monetize this game. However, part of me wishes it could stay free. Perhaps all of the cosmetics could be available with in-game currency, but in-game currency could be purchased in bulk with real money?
However, a few suggestions before I conclude the review. First, I remember there being power-ups in the real Rocket League, such as covering your car with spikes so you could pick up the ball and dive into the goal, etc. I would like to see those implemented to some degree in this mobile edition.
Secondly, I have noticed some graphical shortcomings, such as certain images (like the logo on the baseball hat topper, or the markings on the field in the pregame shot) are extremely low resolution. I don’t think it is fair to demand graphics of the same quality as the console game (and I don’t really want them either, they would make it harder for my device to run this game). Still, it would be nice to have a few simple improvements to the graphics.
This game was released very recently, so it is by no means finished. I see a lot of people complaining about the lack of maps or features from the real Rocket League, but in all likelihood, these are already planned for a later update. Psyonix just wanted to get a playable version out, so they focused on perfecting basic gameplay before adding any unnecessary fancy stuff.
Keep up the good work!

5/5.

Rocket League Sideswipe MAKE. THE. MATCHES. FAIR

Hi Pysonix, I’m Baron Gaddis and I’m Platinum I in doubles, and recently I’ve gone down to Gold V because of this one reason…disadvantages. Basically, what I mean by that is players that you are paired with is RANDOM, so you have no idea who you are playing with, and it could go either way. Your teammate could be balanced, your teammate might be literal TRASH at the game like Silver or Bronze, your teammate might be a literal GOD at the game and might be a higher rank than you. It’s really 50/50 who you’re going to be paired with. Plus, RL sideswipe is supposed to be FUN and FAIR and the matches are supposed to be equally fair so that people don’t have significant disadvantages over other teams…WELL, IF I’M HAVING PLATINUMS ON THE TEAM WE’RE UP AGAINST ARE GETTING CARRIED BY CHAMPIONS, PEOPLE THAT ARE SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER THAT US AT THE GAME! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO STOP THOSE PEOPLE?! I MEAN I’M PLAT 1 FOR GOD SAKE AND DON’T WANT TO SWEAT MY ABSOLUTE BALLS OFF TRYING TO BEAT THOSE PEOPLE! So, what I’m asking Pysonix LLC for you to do is…make your matches fair, basically what I mean is put the range of players you’ll be up against in a rank when your playing Duels or Doubles. For example, basically Bronze players will be put up against either players that are the same rank, or 1 rank higher than you. Diamonds will be put up against either players that are diamond or champion, Golds will be put up against golds or plats, and so on. And if you add this, it will make the games evenly matched with players that are the exact skill level as other players in that match or there might be one player that’s diamond and know a bit better, and potentially players don’t have to SWEAT THEIR HEADS OFF to beat them because let’s be honest here they’re only a rank above you so yeah. And maybe you might see a team of Diamonds lose to a team of Platinums because maybe the platinums could have ice in their veins or something like that, IDK but something like that could happen because GRAND CHAMPIONS aren’t in their matchups. And maybe you could do the EXACT same thing to Casual matches because sometimes in ranked it happens. A Champion player might be paired up with a diamond player meanwhile on another team it might be kind of evenly matched, but still the game might be somewhat close but the champions will dominate because their close to peak rank Grand Champions. Meanwhile in Casuals, anything’s possible! You could run into a Grand Champion in ones as a platinum grinding 1v1s, you could run into the team that has the TOP 3 and TOP 10 best 2v2 players in ALL OF ROCKET LEAGUE SIDESWIPE! Meanwhile your team has a diamond and a platinum on it. CLEARLY THE GAME WON’T BE CLOSE! So, maybe you could do the exact same thing so that way the games will be evenly matched with the rank someone’s at with a range from their rank to the next best rank. So, please think about this and I guarantee you people will enjoy it. Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a great rest of your evening! Sincerely, Baron Gaddis.

Rocket League Sideswipe Bugs

Hi I’m kaleb my account is Jacob_mythical and I’m writing this because of bugs. When I use a controller in a bot games however it sometimes glitches but in online games it seems to be very hard for me to play with it because it’s buggy and it keeps crashing, teleporting and leaving matches I have an iPhone 11 and I use an Xbox controller and when it is really badly glitches it uses everything at once I’m talking like teleport use boost, jump, use per jump, and does random aerials I can’t believe that it keeps doing this every time and I will need you to kindly fix the game because the cosmetics and stuff in the game are good and all but I just don’t like the game style I mean you could probably add you can probably add you can probably add unfair in bot lobbies or match unfair in online lobbies because it will be fun to people because unfair is where there’s three against one two against one or four against one it’s pretty fun and I just want to wait this because it’s is buggy and I do not like how it bugs out all the time when I use an Xbox controller so if you have a chance can you please fix the game and yeah that’s all I’m asking thank you and I will see you in the next report that I give if there’s any more bugs or stuff that I kindly want you to addSo this is what I kind a want you to add I kind a want you to add like even more black market because sometimes there’s barely any black markets and if it is it’s kind of like bad a little bit and you should probably add more decals to the cara because it’s pretty hard to get Dickau’s in this game I don’t know why oh you are just haven’t added the decals because the I want there and there are like many cars that you can get and I’m kind of grateful for that but to be honest I kind of want more decals and I want you to add unfair because in bot lobbies because not only will you test out your scale if you’re if your teammate is bad you can do a one V2 so that will technically give you a big warm up and get your scale more up for a Toovey one because if you’re playing if you’re playing one V1 V1’s yeah of course it’s going to be easy and I want you to add more decals because the decals will be cool like moving decals and stuff like that and I want you to add like a titanium like more titanium stuff in the shop but Krista on gold is like three your teammate is bad you can do a one V2 so that will technically give you a big warm up and get your scale more up for a Toovey one because if you’re playing if you’re playing one V1 V1‘s yeah of course it’s going to be easy and I want you to add more decals because the decals will be cool like moving decals and stuff like that and I want you to add like a titanium like 10 more titanium stop in the shop but a Krista on gold missed like 3000 to 4000 gold for the titanium because the last one you gave you gave out was a titanium white octane and the octane was like a few thousand like I think it was on $2000 or something like that but all I’m asking is add to unfair because unfair retreat increase your skill when it will increase your skill by adding a onesie one because if you’re playing Toovey to V2 and you have a bad teammate in the rest of the players on the other team are good then you should probably use that you should probably use that because because when you use it like you can get better and better every single day when you increase the game it will take a lot of time to get mastered but it will be a good it will be a good game and it will increase your play levels so this was the report that I am asking for today and I will hopefully you will reply to this and I will see you in the next report if I do have a next report have a good day bye

Rocket League Sideswipe Nightmare experience

Rocket League is my favorite game so I was stoked to get this for my iPad Pro 4th gen. My PS4 controller worked great through the tutorial and free play.

You can only play free-play unless you have an Epic Game account so I just played free-play because the epic game account is a headache with associating w/ other platforms.

EVERY time I start the game I have to play through the tutorial just to use free-play. I finally decided to log-in through Apple. I was sent in a loop due to the email address that Apple populates (which I can’t edit).
I log-in through Steam and finally I’m in! The next time I start it up it doesn’t remember my credentials.

I would have happily paid $5 for the game if it would just give me an ID and let me play.

Rocket League Sideswipe Could Be a Great Game if not for major bugs

I want to love this game, but it’s very hard with extreme bugs that ruin gameplay. Since there is no casual mode, running into bugs means losing ranks very quickly if they continue.

Buttons will sometimes fail to work (touchscreen and controller). So you end up sitting still and just watching your opponent score over and over again. Additionally, sometimes the lag is unbearable. This is more sporadic, and could be attributed to internet possibly. But I don’t have the problems with anything else (or normal Rocket League on the same network).

Overall, I find myself more frustrated with the game than anything. Losing close matches over and over, ranked matches since there is no casual, is extremely frustrating when bugs are such a large cause for it.

Rocket League Sideswipe Controller

I love rocket league. This game is really fun . But the controller support needs major help. I’ve tried using multiple playstation controllers. They work but there are some issues. First the boost. Sometimes when I hit the boost it doesn’t register, sometimes when I let go of the boost button it just keeps boosting, and sometimes when I run out of boost I don’t start regenerating boost until I hold the boost button again. And then the jump bottom. I’ll double jump but it only registers one jump most of the time. And today I was playing at it was just like I couldn’t move. I could change the direction of my car and I could boost but I couldn’t drive. I even tried using the touch controls. That happened until someone made a goal. But happened again right after .

Rocket League Sideswipe Un freaking real

When this game came out first it was super fun and awesome, I climbed all the way to champion V and idk how this happened but one day I opened up the game and my progress was allll reset to when season 2 just came out and now I am Diamond V instead of Champ V? And that was in 2’s. My 1’s and volleyball also got reset to when the season first came out. I don’t know what happened but I want answers soon because I didn’t work my butt off to almost GC just to have it disappear in one single day.

Please get back to me soon and let me know what you guys can do to help me because I tried resetting my phone and it still says the same crap. My username is Kadregaッ I doubt this will be seen or even have anything done about it, but it was worth a shot to try and get my stuff back.

Rocket League Sideswipe Game is fun, support is terrible!

My son plays rocket league on Switch. When we realized it was available for his iPad, we downloaded it immediately. He loves unlocking new items and completing the rocket pass. But, every time he receives a free item, or buys an item in game, it disappears, never to be seen again. He has been rewarded several goals, and customization items that are no longer in his inventory. Only items that are available for him to use are the default items. It’s very disappointing to win items or pay for them with in game currency, only for them to be removed moments later.

After weeks of emailing back and forth, my problem hasn’t been solved. Contacting support is a complete joke because nobody will actual help or pay attention to my previous email. I’m constantly given a new support person asking for the same info I’ve already given. Ridiculous.

Rocket League Sideswipe Went from a whopping 5 star to 2

While they did a great job, I loved this on my phone with touch controls but then realized it has controller support.

This is when the stars start falling.
I use the controller on my 12 pro max and realize crashing about 15x as much without controller.

This wasn’t a huge deal as it quickly reconnected after reopening.

Now this is where we shoot straight down, unplayable.

I download on my IPad Pro 2021 (the one bigger than my head) and the crashes continue with controller but now no longer reconnects automatically on my iPad. I am welcomed with ban after ban that no longer allows me to play when I have every intention of finishing every match.

So excited just to play a few 2 minute matches before getting another ban at no fault of my own.

Until this is fixed I won’t be back on mobile.

Sad as this is a clean well built passion project.

Rocket League Sideswipe Psyonix has f’ed the game

I have reviewed this game multiple times and I still haven’t seen improvement since then. But NOW, the devs at the Psyonix headquarters have completely ruined the game, how? They completely messed up the already severely flawed matchmaking system, especially in the new “”Mutator Madness” mode, yeah, I can say it’s absolute madness for me and everyone who got paired up against opponents 3 RANKS HIGHER THAN THEMSELVES AND A TEAMMATE THAT THREW THE WHOLE GAME! I can’t lie, season 4 is amazing, especially since they added the fennec at tier 35(I’m already at 20 thanks to double XP wins from mutator madness), but with the matchmaking system being so immensely flawed in this season of rocket league sideswipe, I’ll probably be stuck playing hoops the rest of the season with not the slightest bit of hope of obtaining the long-awaited fennec I want so bad.

Rocket League Sideswipe This game is dying

The game is dying and you can tell who ever is in charge of the app doesn’t mind, no more updates to game play that make you come back to play, the rewards are SUPER repetitive, the season pass is a joke lol the match making is the worst I’ve seen, but I can’t blame them not wanting to fix it since not many people play and if they matched you up with someone your level you’d wait hours finding a match (they always blame the player for having a bad connection instead of accepting the fact that not many people play or that their game connects SOOO slowly), so they match you up with people who never step foot outdoors and are on this app 24/7 that will destroy you lol The flip/stall resets are also a joke, everyone and their grandma does them and it makes the game more boring than it already is by your opponent spending the whole match on the ceiling flip resetting.

Rocket League Sideswipe Not fun at all

Do the developers get off on the mere frustration of the control system? Maybe. Do they care? Obviously not. That alone is enough to hate this game but don’t forget the horrible match making and glitches. Quick depletion of battery life. Not being able to back out when the frustrating design of the game becomes infuriating. All in all a horribly frustrating game irrelevant of skill level. (addition) I keep trying to like this piece of garbage. The glitches, the mind blowing bad controls and just the crappy people that seem to love it. This very well may be the worst game. So much potential but you can only take so much disappointment and pointless frustration. I look forward to anyone making a better head to head and making you a thing of the past. Let’s all stop wasting time with crap games. Lets face it no one will actually see this because the powers that be seem to want to highlight your game. I bet you paid a pretty penny for that. Fix the “maybe it will work this time” controls and actually earn your place or go away.

Rocket League Sideswipe More luck than strategy

There is a lot of fun to offer in this game, including the party invites and a lot of other things. But the glaring issue with this game is the incentive to add rank and only rank to a game that is mostly on chance. The game doesn't have a casual system, so you're combined with players that will find any way to lean towards their side of a win which will include their own unorthodox strategies. Combine that with players who only want to play the game casually doesn't fit well with the community, as there are different people who want different things from this game. Its frustrating to invite new players or friends who find the logic and idea of the game fun, but have to force the other party members rank to be placed in question just to add the other player in to have fun. As you move up in the rank which is the only way to play, you begin to face players who have some more aggressive "try hard" techniques that make you question of the only way to play the game is to lose enough games to casual play. Please do not make this game as serious for rank play only, because the fun of the physics and teamwork are there, but it is ultimately ruined the more you win.

Rocket League Sideswipe Great game, but has some problems

To be honest the game is simple and fun as long as you don’t have any problems. (Just wanted to let you know)

Starting with this problem that causes my game to freeze and when it unfreezes me, my opponent, and (sometimes) the ball appear in a place where we shouldn’t be. This problem normally makes me or my opponent score an unfair goal. Because that shouldn’t be happening. By the way, I talked about this problem in another review and Psyonix responded to my review saying to check my Wi-Fi connection. Don’t take it offensive but that is not the problem. Because I only have problems like these in Rocket League Sideswipe. Also, if it was my Wi-Fi connection, only my screen should freeze and it should only affect my car. Not the opponent nor the ball.

Lastly, sometimes when I’m playing a normal match and I’m in the air I run out of boost. What you would expect is to see my car falling to the ground, since I have no boost left. But SOMETIMES my car keeps flying until it hits a wall or just for a short period of time. (This has only happened about five times)

Those are all the problems I’ve experienced until now or at least the two biggest problems I know.

-Carlos

Rocket League Sideswipe Fix this game!

Although Rocket League can be fun at times, the downsides of the game outweigh the pros of the game. Some of things that should definitely be improve upon are:
- The battery consumption of the game: I can play a couple game and my battery is drained by 50%, and that is no exaggeration. I understand why the consumption is high, but this is too high for a mobile game.
- There is soooooo much lag: every time im winning the game lags and then fixes itself after the opponent scores two goals against me, which is really annoying and frustrating.
- DECIDE THE FIELD PROPORTIONS!: It’s really annoying when im getting used to the normal field proportions, and then there is the ShortStack map where it is impossible or defend against. Each game take 5 minutes rather than two minutes. Decide which map is the default map for competitive ranked games and stick to it
- The matchmaking system isn’t helpful: There could be someone with the highest skill level, but he has to play players in silver and gold to get there. This is obviously unfair to the lower ranked teams and the matchmaking system needs to be fixed.

That’s all I can think of for now, and until these things are fixed, I’m deleting the app so I don’t rage over it again.

Rocket League Sideswipe Don’t waste your time… boring!

Played on and off for a while now nothing really changes. After level 20 is the same rings, cars don’t change, just different stickers that you can changed the colors but nothing to exciting. You can’t customize like you should. It gets boring after a while. Prizes get boring and you don’t want to play it anymore. Season are too long, same with item shop. Whoever developed the game should hire new people, this game has a lot of potential. I got over 100K on SP and pretty much got everything, so the question is now what?. Also, your XP progress AND TOTAL POINTS don’t reflect each other, your total score is a lot higher then your XP which don’t make any sense at all. Guess they do it so you don’t rank up faster not to sure on that but again is a bad scoring system, why have two point systems?. Why can’t we changed our profile names at anytime we won’t?. The “quick chat stickers” get boring after a while, I’m sure they did that so everything can be peaceful. Also, I got at least 5 of the same “quick chat stickers” same goes as cars and even though you can sale them and get money is time consuming!. Need to change that, shouldn’t be allowed to win or get same cars and “quick chat stickers” over and over again. There is a lot more but I’m sure you get the point.

Rocket League Sideswipe Looks great, plays terrible

S2 update: cool new mode, except that the game is almost completely populated by bots. You can see them running the same kickoff patterns during each game depending on the difficulty level, and if you are against the strongest one they always win 50/50 balls. In five volleyball matches, I’ve only had one actual person in the same game as me. I hope this gets better as more people update.

Also, with the new version, my iPhone 12 is now overheating after only a couple matches despite me turning my graphics settings down to reduce the insane battery drain rate.

Awful lag/warping, often conveniently timed to shift the advantage to the other team. Controls are inconsistent and often unresponsive, and I’ve found these issues often surface when I’m on a winning streak. When I am on the verge of finishing a challenge, suddenly I begin facing unbeatable opponents no matter my ranking. There is no way to report players either, even when your goals magically warp backwards over and over in the same match. Either hacking is rampant and the devs don’t care, or they have rigged the game to make it seem difficult for a psychological payoff once you do finish a challenge. Either way, it is terrible for players. The app also forces you to enter log-in credentials repeatedly, nearly every other time I open the app. I can only speculate that this is retaliatory based on the legal battles between Epic and Apple, I have never had any such log-in issues with any other game on the App Store.
