Rodeway Inn Miami Hotel booking scam

They lied at time of booking, mislead and persuade us to book “five stars” hotel/ Rodeway Inn?!? Fast forward, six month later, after driving almost 9 hours just to find out that “ five stars” hotel has been closed and out of business back in April 2023.. we never received any notification from Rodeway Inn or at least offer us full refund and now we can not find any hotel … all lodges and resorts in the area have been booked due to 4th of July holiday week

DO NOT TRUST THOSE DEN OF THIEVES! They are nothing but DISHONESTY AND SCAMMERS

Buyer BEWARE!

Contact hotel direct and save more money

Desired outcome: Refund us full amount we paid plus any expenses we paid in connection of this scam

Rodeway Inn Miami Cheated by the staff, falsely accused, just so they could charge a fee from my credit card

We had to drive to Asheville nc, from GA for a meeting next day. Most motels were filled up so stopped in there and got 2 nights. Our credit card on file, one of us didn't smoke, but I do. I followed the rules perfectly, had our 2 dogs, do when I'd take them out, I'd smoke.
First all, I advise not staying at this location or any roadways, they're nasty, very and highly nasty and disgusting not to mention fraudulent within staff.
The place needs to be condemned highly recommended condemned!
1 day after departing, it was noticed a few of 160.00 withdrawn from acct.
I immediately called them, after desk staff td me we were charged from smoking in room, which I knew better, I asked for manager, conveniently he was out but call back next day 2pm.
I did just that and I was polite, he got the file out and started questioning me, as they had pictures of cigarette butts in tiom.
I felt myself getting highly upset cause I knew this was a lie, I was asked if we left room open or anyone else in there to stay, no, no, no!
Then it's what he said next that floored me,
The housekeeper who entered the room took pictures.
Immediately I knew it had to been her that manipulated the scene and a higher up management that could charge further out card.
But I'm asking myself, why would housekeeping go to that extreme to take pictures for one,
I brought up the fact that if the cameras on all sides worked to go back and look at them and they would see me outside with my dogs each time smoking outside.
That obviously was. t done, no way was he going to work with me to see that I wasn't in the wrong.
This was wrong in all aspects of the word.
They just assumed we wouldn't be back that way so no worries huh.
News flash though.
You may get away with scammed frauds for a time, but you won't in the long run when your bowed on your knees before God having to give an account for all you've cheated and wronged, is your soul burning for eternity worth it?
I'll never stat at any of these chains ever again.
Imagine cheating many alikes in one day how much money you'd acquire!
Never investigated it, never got a call back about it, the weird part, for any room violations the fee should have been 250.00 if broken, so I. Too asking myself, why only 150, goes to show I read the polices. I made many calls but got nowhere,
For this is a sdcc cam that's been going on a while obviously and knowing it's foolproof the way it's being used. As I said, you can't cheat God though, he sees everything, hears everything.
Somewhere down the ride they'll get caught I hope, or lose in some other ways.
Too, if I hadn't of spent much time outside smoking, and with my dogs, then how would I too know about all the wrong crookedness going on outside as well, prostitutes, drug dealers, ppl in their vehicles using wifi from internets of other people staying there, you see one or two going in one door but coming out another on otherside, people crawling into windows of rooms, or stealing from a company they work for and staying there, but equipments from power com, trucks and others being taken off trucks and being pushed th through the outside windows of their rooms
YES, I witnessed all this and much more,
The motel has cameras up, are they closing a blind eye to it all, as it dont much matter though because the employees staff are just as scandalous,
So I've asked myself this a few times, how can they not look at cameras and see me walking around with my dogs, smoking outdoors,
If I'd smoked indoors there would have been no need to have went outside. As filthy as the entire motel is, holes in walls sinks, burns even in hallways, filthy carpets, the stench, one employee was walking down main hallway spraying deodorant to kill the smells,
Just horrifying, and I wished I could have seen this ahead, or gotten my room money back after seeing the hallways and rooms,
I'll never stay at another ever. I. Used to Wyndham suites, microtels, wished I could have found one upon getting to asheville nc.
I have a good mind still to report activities to law enforcement and the health conditions to health department when I will have to return again. You see the bey thought they'd never see us again, but we will have to return soon, but it won't be there. Wyndham don't charge as much and so much nicer clean and respected.
Shame on you all involved!
I hope this info helps someone out there...

My husband I stayed at the Red Roof Inn/Rodeway Inn in Laredo, TX off Zapata Highway. Well we have stayed there about 4 times and have never experienced a night like this one. We stayed there 12/13/19 first of all we had requested extra towels which we did not have. The coffee pot in the room did not work either, then while on the bed there was a roach...

Rodeway Inn Miami Unethical behavior, terrible customer service, unsanitary conditions

Rodeway Inn Miami is a TERRIBLE hotel! I wouldn't wish it upon anyone! I purchased the hotel stay for my friend and her family. I visited for only an hour on Monday, October 26, 2015, at 11pm. When I sat on the bed, I immediately started itching. When I left the hotel an hour later, I felt sick. When I arrived home, I felt even sicker. Then, I noticed I had bug bites all over my legs. I woke up with a fever and chills, and there were welts all over my legs! Just as I realized there were bed bugs in that room, my friend called me to tell me there was vomit in the room! My friend reported this incident to the hotel manager, Silveria Many (spelling?), and was accused by the manager of lying. She blamed her children. But, the vomit was not new. It had been there, and was not her child's. I then went to the hotel myself to speak with a manager before checking out on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. I spoke directly with the district manager, Milena Parades. Not only did she accuse me of lying to my face, but she also accused my friend of lying. I showed her the bed bug bites and told her I had a fever and chills. She refused to do anything about the situation. She refused to give me my money back for the HORRENDOUS experience and service! She refused to help IN ANY WAY! What happened to, "The customer's always right"?! Both managers were incredibly RUDE. They did not help whatsoever! I told her I would speak with my lawyer in regards to this matter. She did not care. I asked for my deposit back immediately. She said she had to check the room first, even though the manager had already checked the room prior to my arrival! I waited at the front desk for an excessive amount of time. I then asked the district manager for the name of the person above her. Instead, she gave me the generic hotel card, with absolutely no personal information on it. I then asked her for her name. She was not spelling it correctly, and was not stating her last name. So, I told her to write her name for me on a card. She only wrote her first name and the manager's first name! I had to continue asking, and the district manager was being completely uncooperative. I asked if she could write the names down neatly, and she refused to do it. So, I asked for a pen so I could write the names down myself. She threw a pen at the desk instead of handing it to me, and was giving me terrible attitude! She told me her name was "Melina Para." That was a lie. After she left, I asked an employee at the front desk what her full name was. She wrote down, "Milena Parades." After I received my deposit of $50, we left the hotel. But, I never received a refund! After dropping off my friend, I felt sicker and sicker. I realized I was having a horrible reaction to the bug bites, still! At approximately 1pm, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, I checked into an urgent care clinic. I was feeling very dizzy with chills. The doctor confirmed I was having a very bad reaction to bed bug bites. He wrote a prescription for Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.025% External Cream, and told me to purchase Claritin. I had to miss class due to this incident, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. It took me approximately one week to recover fully. This hotel is TERRIBLE! And it is run by very uncooperative, rude, terrible people! Do yourself a favor and contact the Miami-Dade Department of Health, the Better Business Bureau, and Choice Hotels (headquarters) if you have had similar issues! This kind of customer treatment cannot continue!

You are so right on the money, my first stay just as horrible, but I couldnt go in person as we drove back 2 states on. This one in Asheville nc neds to be turned in to health dept and law too. I've wrote my experience, find and read my mishap

Rodeway Inn Miami refund from night I didnt stay

I searched travelocity to assist with my hotel stay in Indianapolis. The hotel I booked through travelocity was Econo Inn on the website & when I reached my destination, the hotel was a different name than online called the rodeway inn. My stay at that hotel was HORRIBLE! My car was broken into & vandalized on the hotel's property. I booked two nites but ended up only staying one night because of the incident that occured with my car. I had to spen more money to pay to stay at another hotel because I refused to stay the other nite at the rodeway inn. So Im asking for my refund if the night I did not stay. I hope for you but I wouldn't count on th these cheating scandalous ppl even returning a message much less money. I've noticed all sideways are same poorest of quality that need to be condemned. Yours sounds exactly as our 2 day stay at asheville nc.

l find they're so very similar just in different states.
It's down right disgusting. Microtel, Wyndham are inexpensive and very nice, ppl are great. After losing alot at rodeway I'm sick over it all still today. I' dont feel so alone and unbelieved now after reading others complaints

Rodeway Inn Miami RUDENESS

"Chelsie" a front Desk Very RUDE!

MIcrowave, Toasters were not working for breakfast and when we asked her for assistance she told us to just unplugged the wires and we asked her if she can do that for us since we are the guests and she responded "Dont you have a microwave in your room?" Having a front desk like that doesnt need to get paid for any service she gives! VERY RUDE and when I asked her about her name she said "Chelsie?". I told her to call her supervisor and she hand me a phone to "John" who will not be there till 30 minutes. I cannot wait for someone and complain for 3o minutes also! But Place is Good though except for the front Desk it will lower the credibility of the company.

It dobt sound no better than others who've had disgusting events to happen to we all too. It seems it's in more than one state that a roadways are horrible and need to be condemned

Rodeway Inn Miami bugs

i am still waiting on a reply about what happened to me and my fiance at that hotel in deleware
even though my fiance and i are still planning to stay at the hotel we stayed at after that bad one my fiance still wants to know what is going to happen are is anything going too happen about his pillow we did not take it because of the bugs we brought it because he need a certain type of pillow to sleep on he did suffer without it but we are planning to come back to deleware and stay at the quality inn skyways we enjoyed it after what happen to us at that bad hotel the quality inn is a very nice clean and friendly hotel and we enjoyed it and we are planning to return before winter of this year please let me know about the pillow issue thank you

I forgot to add one more thing to the last e-mail my fiance left his pillow there and since there was a lot of bugs in the room we was afraid there might be a lot of bugs in the pillow.
