Mixed Feelings About RottenTomatoes
As someone deeply invested in the world of movies and entertainment, I have mixed feelings about RottenTomatoes. On one hand, it serves as a convenient platform for checking movie reviews and ratings before deciding on what to watch. However, the reviews from other customers have raised some valid concerns. It seems that there are issues with account management, such as difficulties in canceling accounts and privacy issues. Additionally, there are accusations of biased reviews, manipulation of ratings, and even claims of a 'woke agenda' influencing the content. These factors can make it challenging for users to trust the reliability and authenticity of the reviews on RottenTomatoes. While it can still be a useful tool for getting a general sense of a movie's reception, it's essential to approach the platform with a critical eye and consider multiple sources before making viewing decisions.

Rottentomatoes is a great place to get movie reviews
Rottentomatoes is a great place to get movie reviews. I like how it takes in account both critics and real movie goers. I don't think I have ever not liked a movie that was well reviewed on rottentomatoes.
Best Review Website on Earth
This site is excellent when it comes to rating anything from TV series to any movie. The reviews are accurate and trustworthy. It also allows for both top critics and average Joe to comment and rate any movie and takes into account your review.
Excellent site, wonderful layout and extremely informative.
Rottentomatoes--my fav place for movie reviews
Rottentomatoes--my fav place for movie reviews - this is my favorite movie review site. It compiles the reviews of movie critics across th country and gives a composite rating based on the different reviews. It also provides an easy way to view movie trailers and find the location and time of a movie near you.
RottenTomatoes: The Ultimate Movie Review Site for All Your Flick Needs
RottenTomatoes is a dope site for peeping reviews for any flick you're thinking of watching. The rating system is simple and lit - either fresh or rotten tomatoes. I used to just skim the summary and overall rating before I hit up the theater, but I didn't wanna get spoiled, ya feel me? After I peeped the movie, I'd go back and read the reviews in depth to see what other peeps thought. It helped me think about the movie more and stuff. You should def check it out, it's easy to use and navigate.
The Truth About Rotten Tomatoes: Are Reviews Accurate or Biased?
Rotten Tomatoes is a website that many people use to check out reviews for movies. However, it's important to note that the reviews on this site may not always be completely accurate. It seems that negative reviews are often removed, while positive reviews are given more attention. This could be because the people behind Rotten Tomatoes want to make sure that movies with bad reviews don't lose money. After all, if people see that a movie has a lot of negative reviews, they might be less likely to go see it. This means that the movie won't make as much money, which is bad news for the studios and theaters that are involved.
It's also possible that movie studios and theaters pay Rotten Tomatoes to promote their movies, even if they aren't very good. This is because they want to make as much money as possible, and they know that positive reviews can help with that. Unfortunately, this means that some movies may be given more attention than they deserve, simply because they have a lot of money behind them.
Overall, it's important to take the reviews on Rotten Tomatoes with a grain of salt. While they can be helpful in deciding whether or not to see a movie, they may not always be completely honest. It's always a good idea to read reviews from a variety of sources before making a decision.
RottenTomatoes: A Misleading Movie Rating Website with Biased Expert Reviews
RottenTomatoes (rottentomatoes.com) is a website that many people use to check out movie ratings before they decide to watch a movie. However, there are some things that you need to know before you rely on the ratings that you see on this website.
One thing that you need to be aware of is that RottenTomatoes only shows you ratings of those who bought movie tickets in a certain fashion. This means that if you did not buy your movie ticket in the way that they want you to, then your rating will not be included in the overall rating that they show you. This can be very misleading because it does not give you a complete picture of what people really think about the movie.
Another thing that you need to be aware of is that RottenTomatoes is thought to artificially change ratings by removing ratings. This means that they may remove ratings that they do not agree with or that do not fit their agenda. This can be very frustrating for people who rely on this website to make decisions about which movies to watch.
The expert reviews on RottenTomatoes are also very biased compared to other sites like IMBD. It is quite often to see a movie get nearly full marks as an expert, but a rotten score from the users, and vice versa. This is almost always political, such as if it is a feminist movie (see reviews for Taking Down the House, versus Chapelle's Sticks and Stones).
Overall, RottenTomatoes can be a useful website for checking out movie ratings, but you need to be aware of its limitations and biases. If you want to get a complete picture of what people really think about a movie, then you should check out other websites as well.
Rottentomatoes: A Shell of Its Former Self - A Disappointing Review
Rottentomatoes used to be a great place to find honest reviews from real critics who cared about their fellow fans. But now, it seems like they've lost their way. It's like they'll do anything for a buck, even if it means giving a good review to a bad movie. And have you noticed that whenever they love a movie, everyone else hates it? And whenever they hate a movie, everyone else loves it? It's like they're not even in touch with the general fandom anymore.
It's time for a change, Rottentomatoes. You're not doing anything right anymore. What happened to your self-education? Did you forget how to be a good critic? And what about the fans? Don't they have a right to their own opinions? Apparently not, because you're deleting reviews from "nonprofessional" critics who are actually better at your job than you are.
It's sad to see Rottentomatoes go down this path. It used to be a great resource for movie lovers, but now it's just a shell of its former self. If you're looking for honest reviews, you're better off looking elsewhere.
RottenTomatoes: A Horror Fan's Worst Nightmare
I gotta say, I'm not a fan of RottenTomatoes (rottentomatoes.com) when it comes to horror movies. Supposedly, they got all these so-called experts who know everything about horror flicks, but honestly, most of them don't know jack squat. They got no credibility, nothin' at all. I can't even take 'em seriously. When it comes to horror movies, they should just keep their traps shut. Ain't nobody gonna listen to 'em. They're just a bunch of garbage that you should avoid like the plague.
Now, I ain't gonna lie, there are a few reviewers on there that I agree with. But most of the time, when I read their previews, I just wanna punch a wall and grab my machete. I feel like I gotta take a walk around Camp Crystal Lake and find some fresh meat. Maybe they don't know it yet, but those rotten tomatoes are just waiting for 'em.
But hey, that's just my opinion. Maybe you like RottenTomatoes. Maybe you think they know what they're talkin' about. But if you're a horror fan like me, I suggest you take their reviews with a grain of salt. 'Cause most of the time, they don't know what the hell they're talkin' about.
The Last Duel Review: Ridley Scott's Latest Film Falls Short of Gladiator's Legacy
Ridley Scott is a genius when it comes to making movies. He knows how to create a masterpiece that will leave you in awe. However, his latest movie, The Last Duel, has left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The hiring of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, while great actors, trivializes the work. It is elementary, that the problem with well-known actors is that they cannot escape their established personas. Use of new or unfamiliar faces would have made the stilted, forced attempts to create accents more believable.
Game of Thrones is a perfect example of this. When it appeals least is when a popular, well-known personality is given a role, i.e. Ed Sheehan. Following his masterpiece, Gladiator, the bar that he himself created is high and will forever challenge and haunt him?like many great artist who attempt to repeat past successes. The opening battle scenes?the thunderous sound of horses galloping, snow lightly falling, screams of the dying and the attackers, gray forest backdrop?all replays of Gladiator direction.
Box office success is never guaranteed with historic films, even when produced by a master?especially in today's 5-minute-internet attention span. Ridley is the master of this genre, but the main characters in a foreign-based historic film, should, at the very least, have an accent (French, British, whatever) that does not remind one of an American high school Shakespeare production that went on way too long. However, Ridley remains the master.
Overall, The Last Duel is a decent movie, but it could have been better. Ridley Scott is a great director, but he needs to take more risks and try new things. The Last Duel is worth watching, but don't expect it to be as good as Gladiator.
RottenTomatoes: An Unreliable Source for Movie Reviews
RottenTomatoes is a website that is supposed to give you an idea of how good or bad a movie is before you go and spend your hard-earned money on it. However, it seems that the site is not as reliable as it claims to be. Negative reviews of movies are frequently removed, even if they are accurate and provide a lot of detail. This is because the site is owned by the movie industry, so they don't want anything negative to be said about their movies.
For example, I wrote a review about She-Hulk, where I pointed out its lack of humor and the countless continuity errors the show made. However, when I went back to look for my review, I couldn't find it. It seems that the site only allows reviews that are positive or neutral, and anything negative is removed.
This is why you never see reviews with more than three sentences on the site. Actual in-depth reviews that make the movie industry look bad in any way are not allowed. The only reviews you see are from the biggest haters or the biggest fans of a movie. There is never a review in the middle, which is where most people fall.
For example, Babylon (2022) has most of its reviews with the score in the middle, but the actual score summaries either paint it as the worst thing to ever hit theaters or an artistic masterpiece that only an absolute creative visionary could make. The same thing happened with The Whale and The Apology. The site is an absolute joke, even when most reviews are in the middle, it somehow finds a way to showcase only the supposed catastrophes of a film or the grand victories in every review, with the tone seemingly switching to see as if everybody was watching a different movie.
In conclusion, RottenTomatoes is not a reliable source for movie reviews. It seems that the site is more concerned with promoting the movie industry than providing honest reviews to its users. If you want to know if a movie is worth watching, it's best to look for reviews from independent sources.
Rotten Tomatoes: Overrated or Out of Touch?
I gotta say, I'm not too impressed with Rotten Tomatoes. I mean, sure, it's supposed to be a place where you can go to get an idea of whether a movie is worth watching or not, but I'm not so sure that the people who write these reviews really know what they're talking about.
For one thing, they seem to love movies that I think are just plain terrible. Take Baby Driver, for example. I mean, come on, that movie was just painful to watch. The music was awful, and the main character was so annoying that I couldn't even make it through the first 10 minutes. And yet, the folks at Rotten Tomatoes seem to think it's some kind of masterpiece.
On the other hand, they seem to hate movies that I think are awesome. Like the Fast and Furious series, for instance. I mean, those movies have everything you could want in an action flick - great music, cool cars, and lots of explosions. And yet, the Tomato people seem to think they're just mindless trash.
And don't even get me started on their horror movie reviews. They loved It Follows, which I thought was just plain boring, but they hated Some Kind of Hate, which I thought was really well done. I mean, what gives?
Honestly, I think a lot of these so-called "film critics" are just full of themselves. They think they know everything about movies, but in reality, they're completely out of touch with what real people like. And that's why I have a hard time taking most of the reviews on this site seriously.
RottenTomatoes Complaints 10
Rotten Tomatoes: A Great Resource for Movie Lovers
But let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by the website. I mean, sure, it's not perfect, but it's a great resource for finding out what movies are worth watching and which ones to avoid. The reviews are written by real people, not just some algorithm, so you get a sense of what actual moviegoers think about a particular film.
One thing I really appreciate about Rotten Tomatoes is their rating system. They don't just give a movie a thumbs up or down, they actually give it a percentage score based on the number of positive reviews versus negative reviews. This gives you a more nuanced understanding of how well-received a movie is.
Of course, not everyone agrees with the critics on Rotten Tomatoes. That's part of the fun, though. You can read the reviews and decide for yourself whether a movie is worth your time and money. And if you do decide to see a movie that's gotten a bad rating, at least you'll know what you're getting into.
Overall, I think Rotten Tomatoes is a great resource for movie lovers. It's not perfect, but it's a lot better than just blindly picking a movie based on the trailer or the cast. So next time you're looking for something to watch, give Rotten Tomatoes a try. You might be surprised by what you find.
Disappointing Experience: My Review of RottenTomatoes
So, I signed up for RottenTomatoes and boy was I disappointed. First off, once you make an account, you're stuck with it. There's no way to delete it if you change your mind. That's a major bummer.
And don't even get me started on the so-called "online community." It's not really a community at all. You can't do much unless you're a registered professional reviewer. What's the point of having a website that's supposed to be for everyone if only a select few can actually participate?
Overall, I wouldn't recommend RottenTomatoes to anyone who's looking for a real online community or a place to share their opinions on movies. It's just not worth it.
Rotten Tomatoes: A Decent Resource for Movie Reviews, But Don't Rely Solely on Their Ratings
or not. It's frustrating because sometimes I'll see a movie with a low rating on Rotten Tomatoes and end up really enjoying it. It's like they're trying to push their own agenda instead of just giving an honest review.
But, I still use Rotten Tomatoes as a resource when deciding what movie to watch. I just take their ratings with a grain of salt and also look at other sources for reviews. It's important to get a variety of opinions before making a decision.
One thing I do appreciate about Rotten Tomatoes is their user reviews. It's nice to see what other people thought about a movie and get a sense of whether or not it's worth watching. Plus, it's fun to read the funny and sarcastic comments people leave.
Overall, Rotten Tomatoes is a decent resource for movie reviews, but it's important to not rely solely on their ratings. It's always good to get a variety of opinions and make your own decision.

Rotten Tomatoes: A Critic-Centric Review Site for Movies and TV Shows
Rotten Tomatoes is a website that's all about movies and TV shows. You can rate and review them, which is pretty cool. But, here's the thing: only the opinions of the critics really matter. That's kind of a bummer if you're just a regular person who wants to share their thoughts.
If you're looking for a place to have your voice heard, you might want to check out another review site. But, if you're just looking for some entertainment and want to see what the critics are saying, Rotten Tomatoes is an okay website.
There are a lot of reviews on there, so you can get a good idea of what people are thinking about a particular movie or show. And, it's fun to see the ratings and percentages. But, sometimes it feels like the critics are the only ones who matter.
Overall, Rotten Tomatoes is a decent website. It's not perfect, but it's worth checking out if you're a movie or TV buff. Just don't expect your opinion to be the one that really counts.
RottenTomatoes: A Useful Tool or a Hindrance to Forming Your Own Opinion?
RottenTomatoes is a website that can help you decide what movies to watch. However, it can also be a bit confusing at times. Sometimes, it seems like the website is trying to tell you what to think instead of letting you make up your own mind. This can be frustrating, especially if you have a strong opinion about a movie.
My daughter has used RottenTomatoes to help her decide what movies to watch. However, I have noticed that she sometimes changes her opinion about a movie after reading the reviews on the website. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it does make me wonder if she is really forming her own opinions or just following what others think.
Overall, I think RottenTomatoes can be a useful tool for movie lovers. However, it is important to remember that the website is just one source of information. It is up to each individual to decide for themselves whether or not they like a movie. So, take the reviews on RottenTomatoes with a grain of salt and make up your own mind.
Rotten Tomatoes' Audience Score: A Fake and Boosted Mess
Yo, so I gotta say, Rotten Tomatoes ain't what it used to be. They got this "audience score" thing goin' on, but it's all fake and boosted to make crappy movies look good. It's like they don't even care about us regular folks anymore, just the big corporations and their profits. It's a real shame, 'cause Rotten Tomatoes used to be a great resource for finding out if a movie was worth watchin' or not. But now, I gotta go to IMDB or some other less fancy site to get the real scoop. It's just not the same, ya know?
RottenTomatoes: A Helpful Tool for Movie Lovers
But, I gotta say, RottenTomatoes surprised me. I was skeptical at first, but after using it for a while, I realized that it's actually pretty helpful. Sure, it's not perfect, but what is? It's a good starting point to see what movies are worth watching and what to avoid.
The best thing about RottenTomatoes is that it combines both critic and audience reviews. This gives you a more well-rounded view of the movie. You can see what the critics think and also what the regular people think. Sometimes, they have completely different opinions, which is interesting to see.
Another thing I like about RottenTomatoes is that it's easy to use. You just search for the movie you're interested in and it shows you the rating, reviews, and other information. It's all in one place, which is convenient.
Of course, there are some downsides to RottenTomatoes. Sometimes, the ratings can be misleading. A movie might have a high rating, but when you watch it, you realize it's not that great. Or, a movie might have a low rating, but you end up loving it. It's all subjective, so you have to take the ratings with a grain of salt.
Overall, I think RottenTomatoes is a useful tool for movie lovers. It's not perfect, but it's a good starting point to see what movies are worth watching. Just remember to keep an open mind and don't rely solely on the ratings.
RottenTomatoes: A Disney-Owned Site Manipulating Movie Reviews for Profit?
This here website, RottenTomatoes, is owned by Disney. You know, the big mouse company. They got their hands in everything these days. Anyways, you might think that this site is a good place to check out movie reviews, but let me tell you, it's not all it's cracked up to be. Take Ghostbusters 2016, Captain Marvel, and The Last Jedi for example. These movies got some pretty bad reviews, but you wouldn't know it from looking at RottenTomatoes. They go and manipulate the reviews to make it seem like these movies are better than they really are. It's all just a big advertisement, if you ask me. Don't trust everything you read on this site, folks.
Rotten Tomatoes: Biased Propaganda or Honest Reviews?
RottenTomatoes.com is a website where you can find reviews for movies and TV shows. It's a pretty cool site, but sometimes it can be a little biased. For example, I tried to leave a review for the movie Immigration Nation, but it seems like the site is trying to push a leftist agenda. The movie is just propaganda for the Democrats who want to destroy our country. I live in Texas and I can tell you that immigration is causing a lot of problems here. There are violent crimes happening all the time, especially against children. It's really sad and it's ruining our cities, neighborhoods, and states. I don't appreciate the way Rotten Tomatoes is trying to push this agenda on us. It's not fair and it's not right. So, F YOU, Libs and F YOU Rotten Tomatoes!
RottenTomatoes: A Bunch of Phonies - Why I Trust Google Reviews Instead
I gotta say, I used to think RottenTomatoes was the bee's knees when it came to movie reviews. But then, I watched this one flick that I thought was the cat's meow - a solid B+ in my book. But when I checked out the rating on RottenTomatoes, they gave it a measly 20%! Can you believe it? I was flabbergasted.
After that, I started to question the validity of this site. I mean, who are these so-called "critics" anyway? Do they even know what they're talking about? I've come to the conclusion that they're just a bunch of stuffed shirts who wouldn't know a good movie if it hit them in the face.
Nowadays, I don't put much stock in RottenTomatoes. Instead, I rely on good old Google Reviews. At least those are written by real people who have actually watched the movie or show and can give an honest opinion. They're not just a bunch of snooty critics who think they're better than everyone else.
So, my advice to you is this: don't trust RottenTomatoes for your movie reviews. They're just a bunch of phonies. Stick with the real people and you'll be much better off.
