Royal Holiday Vacation Club royal holiday horrible timeshare experience

My wife and I were pitched, the sale of our existing timeshare was a condition of purchase at Royal Holiday . The salesperson misled us about the guarantee to sell our existing timeshare for $62, 750. We didn't get the guarantee until we were leaving after signing the contract. The guarantee was for no more than to list the property for sale for $62, 750.
We talked about the RCI bonus weeks we were getting. We talked about the cost of $179 or $189 a week. Nothing was said about having to pay maintenance fees first .We were told we were getting a $90, 000 annuity. We then found later it was an "anticipated" annuity.
When you look back to see all the slimy sales tactics playing on our emotions and when good questions were asked about risk and financial commitment or guarantees of pay back the way the sales men to conned us deflected every time.
After many useless calls, We decided to act by our side. We hired "Mexican timeshare solutions" to cancel our timeshare and after 3 months, we were free from all the payments, maintenances fees or any relation with Royal Holiday.
Be aware, do not hire any company to sell your timeshare all of them are scam and they work together with the resort And never pay anything in advance. It was a hard lesson to learn but we did.
We had our doubts because in some websites we read that Mexican timeshare Solutions, charged in advance, but since we had our free consultation with them, they clarified us that we do not have to pay anything in advance until our contract is canceled and that these comments were placed by the resort that wants to stains the image of them and prevent people from canceling their timeshare contracts with them. So ignore those comments, have your free consultation and cancel your contract!

Royal Holiday Vacation Club vacation week

I paid for my week in October. On the bill they added a donation fee. I wrote on the bill that I donate to places that I pick myself. I asked for the week to be deposited in RCI. It wasn't. They sent me an email stating they were depositing it in December. I thought I had to wait 5 weeks after that it still was not deposited. I wrote again and let them know it was not deposited and I would be glad when my term for the time share ends. They said they would deposit it and it is still not deposited. I would like a refund of my week because I paid in October and it is almost April.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club royal holiday bad timeshare experience!

Dont invest in timeshare field with royal holiday, they are scammers. When I tried to reserve a vacation I discovered that I have to wait 40-45 days before I reserve a vacation to see if any hotel has a vacancy and then I can go. Meaning that if I want to go to Cancun I have to wait until there is any vacancy and I can't find then the expiration date end and I can't go any more. Also when you are working you can't take vacation whenever you want. A warning to those looking to buy at Royal Holiday: Make sure everything the salesperson says that makes the purchase sound appealing is written down, signed and dated by the salesperson. If it sounds too good to be true, or sounds like this would make a "great investment" and "pay for itself over time"... get it in writing.
They didn´t want to accept my cancellation, I bought the membership like 6 years ago and I couldn´t afford it anymore because the maintenance fees make impossible to do it. Then I try to donate the timeshare but it was impossible. Worst decision ever, I never imagined how complicated this will be.
I hired a company to cancel my timeshare they are called Mexican Timeshare Solutions, luckily they managed to help me and I have no longer any timeshare with Royal Holiday.
Royal holiday was a such waste of time and money, for own experience please dont get involved, dont assit to their timeshare presentations the salespeople is so agressive i f you dont access to buy something with them, just stay away from royal holiday

Royal Holiday Vacation Club timeshare scam

I have a very bad experience with Royal holiday club. We stayed at Royal park Cancun. The receptionist was friendly and duped us into attending a session with RHC rep. We attended and this rep gave us a very aggressive sales pitch on how we are paying alot for our trips, etc, etc. He asked for my credit card so that he can ask his boss to give us some fee gift. Being naive and thinking such a big resort can not trick us I gave my credit card. After looking closely at all the costs and charges we decided not to sign-up and left. On the last day, as I was checking out, they again asked us to come to RHC office where they informed us that they have already swiped my credit card for 6500 USD. We had made up our mind that we are not going to sign-up but they kept pushing and made me talk to all the supervisors and finally they offered me trail membership for 3500USD. Fearing that I wont get my money back and intimidated by this situation in addition to the fact that this was taking a long time and we had our flights back, I signed the trail contract.

After coming back I did a google search (which I should have done way before), I realized going though all the reviews that this a phony company and as stated in the contact cancelled the trail membership within 5 days.

Its been 4 months I have been asking for a refund. Each time when I call they hang up or tell me that I need to contact the Resort etc etc. So far I have not received my refund. This is turning out to be nightmare and it makes our decision not to sign-up for their full contact very correct.

I will be taking legal action if this is not resolved as I have been very patiently waiting for this refund but so far its all on deaf ears.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club royal holiday timeshare scam - my solution!

My husband and I purchased a timeshare in royal holiday. We were told all these lies about rental income and no maintenance fees. They took advantages of us. They got us drunk in order to force us to sign the contract we were victims of fraud, misrepresentation. We tried to cancel, but unfortunately we were told we cant cancel because of the 5 day period it destroyed our credit report, made it impossible to move forward with our lives. This whole experience had been a nightmare. We had tried everything
Looking to rid ourselves of it we found mexican timeshare solution to be the only company that didn't charge an upfront fee. Our main expectation had been to cancel the timeshare and avoid paying more in maintenance fees over the next 30 years. They sent us documentation from the mexican court that our timeshare was revoked. We are so relieved.
My recommendation is never buy a timeshare and before signing read the contract, never believe what they say verbally.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club cancellation of fraudulent - misleading contract

1. The contract states that we are married and the marital status is written in spanish as "casado." the entire first page of the contract is in english except for the marital status. Why is that? Because it is deceptive. They knew we were not married. Legal contract with misinformation. This should void the legal contract without any argument from either party.
2. The two "certificates" we were told were part of our package, and one of the reasons we bought into the time share are not part of the time share we bought into. Per diana (Our horrible rep) these are not part of the legal packet, but essentially gifts from royal holiday. They actually have one of them that we signed with white out on the fee page and someone wrote over the white out! We were told that one of the certificates is free and the other was a fee of $1, 200. When we went through our packet one certificate has the white out of the fee so we assume that is the free one and the other has a charge of $1, 320 not $1, 200! Again, another lie!
3. We were told that they had 24 hour/365 day customer service available by phone. This is untrue. When we called we figured that out.
4. We were told that transportation from the airport to the hotel/resort was a member benefit. "how nice would it be to get off the airplane and have someone holding a sign with 'mr. Bardin' on it and they take you straight to your resort?" this is untrue. The transportation is not a member benefit.
5. We were told all inclusive fees were $40-$60 depending on the season. It would be $40 for the non prime time and $60 for the prime time. This is untrue. The all inclusive fees are $59 for adults.
6. The fine print of the contract explains that if they overbook the resort you have chosen they have the right to move you to a hotel of their choice. This was never explained to us in the 3 hour long meeting we had with royal holiday.
7. We were told how great their customer service team is with members. This is untrue. I called on a tuesday morning and each time I was on hold for nearly 10 minutes. The first call then disconnected me once I started to talk. The next call a rep came on the line and said he would leave a message for a supervisor to call me back within the hour, 48 hours later I still had not received a return call. I called back and the same thing happened. On hold, then disconnected, not once, but twice and then I got to talk to our horrible rep (Diana) and tried to cancel our time share. She threatened that they would send us to collections.

Hi there, thank you for you the information. I looked into this same company too. I don't feel like we should have to pay to cancel a fraudulent contract. However, if it comes down to it, we will hire an attorney. We are currently looking into that option right now.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club royal holiday timeshare fraud

Hi! Me and my wife returned from our honeymoon trip to Mexico. We also signed up for Royal Holiday. Believing this would grant us exclusive and luxurious trips to great places, having great hotels and services to a very low cost. Like many others we also feel like we've been scammed by Royal Holiday. When we got home. I've been able to do some research about them and checking out their trips etc and I can see that the prices, all-inclusive promises, pickup services, VIP packages and airport lounges are all nothing but lies. We had a contract for 30 years with an annual fee of $ 495 US Dollars and we've made a down payment of $ 1, 125 US Dollars and a closing cost of $ 910 US Dollars (a total of $ 2, 035 US Dollars paid so far). The total price for the membership would be $ 7, 500 US Dollars with monthly payments of $ 119.24 US dollars ending after 60 months of payment.
We did not cancel in 5 days. Rather as soon as we got home and read the documents we began the difficult process to cancel. we tried to cancel the membership through the resort but it was impossible. In our membership disclosure it says that there is no buyers remorse and in an addendum it says that there is no termination of the membership. We almost lose hope when we find d a company on the internet called Mexican Timeshare Solutions and after an introductory call, they reviewed our contract and they told us that based on their experience, we had a good chance to get out of the contract.

After six months they cancelled our contract. I honestly highly recommend their services and do not pay anything until the contract is canceled.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club fraud victim of royal holiday club fraudulent practices

Fraud victim of royal holiday club fraudulent practices.
Definition of fraud: wrongful or criminal deception intended to result in financial or personal gain.
October 19, 2004, my ex fiancé and I were on a vacation in aruba and a woman came up to us and asked
Us if we could help her out and come inside to talk with her boss about vacations. When we said "no"
She begged us and said her job depended on it. So we relented and went to see her boss.
Then, we were asked to have a seat and the guy introduced himself to the two of us.
We exchanged pleasantries and that was when he started with his presentation.
The guy told us if we plan on going on more vacations in the future and
How much they would cost and that by purchasing a vacation package that was
Based on points rather than buying a week that we could go any time of year.
My ex and I already had a timeshare mortgage with flagship we were paying and told the
Sales person that we really could not afford another large purchase at this time. And we
Thanked him, but he kept talking and said that he was not supposed to do this but he crossed out
A bunch of figures and said we can give it
To us at "this said price". I remember looking at my ex shaking my head "no".
My ex told him that this was not the time and that we really could not
Afford another expense. He verbally told us to stop paying on the other timeshare.
That people do it all the time. But he kept telling us it will be a huge tax write
Off, that it was an investment, and that we could rent or sell our membership at any time.
Told us the value would increase in time and we could sell it for three times as much of
What we purchased. He said that the years that we don't go on vacation there are many people
Who would jump at the change to use our points. Then my ex told him that we needed to talk it
Over and that we would come back and he told us that if we left he might not be able to
Guarantee this price since there were only a certain amount of people they could
Offer this "special price" to. We felt very much under pressure. Then, the sales
Rep told us about a "small" maintenance
Fee that we would have to pay every year but it was fixed amount and it would never increase.
But told us to think about what we would be getting in return. We both were hesitate but he then
Told us if someone else were to come after we leave they would get the "special" price.
So as you know we ended up with this royal club membership that has never ever pan out to
What we were promised. We have never been on a vacation with royal holiday. After we paid
The mortgage off we plus the yearly maintance fees we could not afford to go on a vacation.
So we tried to do what the representive told us. We tried to sell it! We tried to rent it!
We tried to donate it! We could not even give it away and I lost money to scammers saying
They could sell it for me. I have filed complaints with the bbb,
The financial protection consumer bureau, and the ag of maryland and royal holiday
Continues to refuse to pay me back all my money. I will not except any deal unless they
Pay me every cent they owe me since 2004 or release me from the fraudulant misrepresentation
Of the contract. The quality supervisor john forseca is a bully and keeps calling and giving me the
Same options to pay them which I told them I can no longer afford and will no longer be their victum.
I have been finanacially voliated by royal holiday. I have paid them $15, 925 and I would like
My money back. I know they are so dishonest that I will not get any of my money back but that is the type
Company they are.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club royal holiday bad experience

I was ripped off in the cruelest way possible, while I relaxed and confident on my vacation, I was invited to a presentation of "supposedly" 90 minutes which really lasted nearly 6 hours, at the beginning we did not want to buy anything, but for them seemed quite the opposite, like "if you tell us more, we are very interested in buying" finally tired we believed that our only way to get out is buying, as the seller told us: “ try it and if you don’t want it you can quit at anytime with a refund back “, obviously we believed them and as we were very tired and fed up or read anything we accepted. We decided to enjoy our vacation and returning home and with calm we could cancel the timeshare with no problem. To our bad luck when we called to cancel, they said it was impossible at the moment and they are not buying memberships.
My wife and I we cannot sleep thanks to the high stress of knowing that we had to pay all that money, the situation is becoming increasingly difficult. We searched and searched on the internet and all we found were complaints and more complaints against Royal Holiday. Finally we found a company called Mexican Timeshare Solutions, we feel confidence about them, everything I read on their website, that they work not only in Mexico but also in USA and they no charge until they cancelled the contract, was a strong point to believe in them. You could read: "Mexican Timeshare Solutions gave to me and my family the peace that we looking for, all the weight and stress its gone, just to leave everything in their hands as they have succeeded in the cancellation of my contract, Royal Holiday timeshare was not going to pay, my debt was 19, 500 Americans DLS ($ 347, 000 pesos approximately at that time), but with interest plus monthly maintenance charged by the holiday consortium and translated into Mexican pesos would skyrocket to nearly a million pesos for 10 years was within payment, even without considering that the dollar may continue increasing, would become an unpayable debt. " Luckily we were able to get out of this BIG problem, the purpose of my comment is to warn all those who are considering purchasing a timeshare or already have and hesitate whether to keep it, CANCEL IT ! timeshare field is the worst scam that may exist, the only thing they think about is to scrub in people no matter what the situation in which we find

Get away from ROYAL HOLIDAY AND THEIR TIMESHARES FRAUD !

Royal Holiday Vacation Club timeshare scam

Let me tell you my experience, I was in Mexico enjoying my vacation time, when I was invited to attend a timeshare presentation, as I did not want to be rude I decided to go. Well, that was the worst mistake I may have made.
They kept me there for 8 hours, I was feeling like a I was wasting my vacation time, so I asked the sales man if I sign and then I regret, and I have de desire of cancel the contract if there is any problem? Of course he told me that there was no problem and he continued talking about how wonderful is his membership. Of course all was a lie. He never told me that there was a rescission period and I felt very confident and I signed the contract.
After 10 days of vacations I came back home and I started my research to cancel my contract. As soon wrote Royal Holiday on google I saw all those bad reviews about fraud and my 5 days that I had to cancel the contract. My first reaction was “5 days?!”. Yes I only had 5 days to can cancel my contract and recover my money. I immediately contact Royal Holiday and I let them know my desire to cancel my contract and his respond was that there was not possible.
I was so furious that I decided not to let them make fun of me and that I would be able to get the cancellation of my contract with or without his help.
I made a deep search on google, I found a company named Mexican timeshare Solutions, I called them and got a free consultation, they told me that they wont charge anything upfront. I took the chance and I hired them. After 5 months I got the cancellation of my contract Of course Royal Holiday made everything to avoid it, but I succeeded.
Royal Holiday is a fraudulent company full of thieves, do not trust them and If you are in the same situation do not give up. I can take a lot of time but it is possible.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club misleading/one sided contract

We signed the so called investment last may 26, 2016 and we submitted a written request to cancel/rescind the contract the very next day. They have denied our request due to one sided promissory note stating "as long as the purchaser be current in its payments, the purchaser will be entitled to early terminate the agreement in case of default by seller, duly supported and approved, (In the understanding that the provisions of item 7.3 of this agreement shall not be consider as a default) and now with note open with a future consequence on sending our promissory note to a collection agency were we gonna end up paying for something we're not going to be able to use. Now ms. Ruth esther fortuna (Loan officer) want us to sign a new promissory note to modify the payments. Aside from the exchanging email, i'm also getting a phone call from ms. Diana elizabeth calitl guzman (New member service dept.) advising us to book our vacation now and pay the outstanding balance for this month. Since the contract was signed in dominican republic, by law purchaser has 5 business day to cancel in which we did. But what they are doing now is trying to hold on the agreement that they said an investment and not a time share by giving a lower monthly fee just to keep us as member. This already ruined the 3 day vacation, since they held us for more than 3 hours just to convince us in signing up as new member. Now it's still giving us a nightmare as they continue to ignore our request to cancel and harass by phone as well. We simply want out and have our $4009/initial deposit back.

I used an amex card. I disputed the charge with amex. My refund was issued to the card, without a problem. But they did promise to buy my timeshare and failed to do so. Anyways, as you know, all of these vacation clubs are traps. Luckily, I have ended my timeshare with Wyndham.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club timeshare scam

In 2014, My wife and I went to Mexico, we were talked into going to a presentation with Royal Holiday, After a pressure sales presentation for 6 hours we purchased a membership. They promised a lot of things but they were empty promises and there were many lies.
We realized we had made a mistake and we tried canceling the contract within the 5 day grace period but they made it impossible to cancel. We began researching our options to
cancel the contract .While we were searching on internet a solution, we found several bad reviews about Royal Holidays and we found that we bought into a Timeshare which was basically
worthless.
We contacted several US attorneys but they told us that they could do nothing for us. So we start to get flustered.
We really had no idea how we were going to get out of this mess. Looking to rid ourselves of it we found Mexican Timeshare Solution to be the only company that didn't charge an upfront fee.
We then contacted them and received counsel. They are exactly what they say they are, and they got the cancellation of our contract. They restored my faith in Mexican culture and the most important thing, we learn the lesson “STAY AWAY FROM ROYAL HOLIDAY !”

Royal Holiday Vacation Club royal holiday timeshare

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic when we were forced to go to a place in the resort where they try to severely persuade you to buy into a Royal Holiday timeshare. They made the timeshare sound wonderful - stay anywhere you want! Hotel is free! 35% off airfare! It lasts 30 years and cost never changes! WELL THEY ARE LIARS! What it all really meant was NOTHING IS EVER AVAILABLE TO STAY, the 300 page book of hotels are NO LONGER THERE OR AVAILABLE, 35% off airfare only meant that the representative would HELP find a plane ticket and if you find one cheaper on your own they say do it yourself! Oh, and lasts 30 years? Well, that's 30 YEARS OF HAVING TO PAY AN ANNUAL FEE OF $500 OR MORE! It's all a lie! They said I could cancel any time and that was FALSE. They said the vacation would cheaper to use Royal Holiday, but that was FALSE. It's mandatory to pay for "All-Inclusive" which can range from $500-more which is the same price as paying for your hotel! I CANNOT BELIEVE WE GOT SUCKERED INTO BUYING THIS. AVOID ROYAL HOLIDAY AT ALL COSTS! I just want to cancel our contract. AND I'M GOING TO POST ON EVERY SINGLE MESSAGE BOARD POSSIBLE TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE GETS INVOLVED IN ROYAL HOLIDAY. IT'S A SCAM! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM! DON'T DO IT! DON'T JOIN ROYAL HOLIDAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TOTALLY SCREWED OUT OF EVERYTHING. You won't be able to take a trip because you'll be spending all your money on ROYAL HOLIDAY because they are such liars! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Royal Holiday Vacation Club timeshare scam

In 2009, my wife and I went to our first vacation since we had emigrated to US ten years before. This vacation was in Cancun, Mexico. Everything would have been perfect, but we were harshly lied by Royal Holiday salespersons. Abusing the fact that English is our second language they tide us into a 30 years contract instead of promising 5 years. Being close to retirement age and having a low paying job, we were paying for a two years. In 2012, my wife died of cancer. Since then I did not go to any vacation and try to cancel my account many time without any luck.
I even called a Royal Holiday headquarter and they offer to help resell our contract. They referred us to the Global Resort Services. I paid $599 for a service and after two years of exchanging calls this company disappeared.
Once, browsing an internet, I found a Mexican Timeshare Solution website and I decide to try once more. This time it was successful. Their reply was quick, they always reply to my email, and, what is the most important, finally, I was be able to cancel my account with Royal Holiday. I would recommend it to anybody who appears in similar situation.

My husband and I purchased a timeshare with RHC approximately 25 years ago when they were selling weeks. Through the years, actually every year, we were pressured and promised if we upgraded to red weeks we would have no problems in obtaining a reservation for wherever we wanted. It was a battle every year and every year a different scheme. We've upgraded and upgraded. From spending approximately $6000. initially to changing to points and then more points and now I am in it for about $30, 000. I am now a senior citizen and a widow. I no longer can travel and I cannot afford the yearly maintenance. Since my husband died 6 years ago I have tried various rip offs to just get released from my contract. As you all know, each time you upgrade your contract renews for another 30 years. I thought I had finally contacted someone in RHC customer service who was willing to help me. She told me to send her a copy of my passport, verification of income and doctor's statement and a letter to the directors requesting to be released from the contract and in 20 days or so the directors would have an answer for me. Up until this point this woman was so helpful and professional. She called when she said she would call and I grew to trust her. However, 20 days has turned into several months and she is not returning my calls or emails. Instead I am being called for non payment of my 2016 maintenance fee. I have received many harassing letters and phone calls asking me to call Mexico. Not one more penny to those dishonest people. Between the cost of the timeshare and all these years of paying ever increasing maintenance fees, I don't know where to turn for help. All I want is to be released from this contract for which they have been paid plenty over and over again. Does anyone have a suggestion?

You can cancel. Read your contract. Point 9 specifically states “The Sales Agreement herein may be cancelled by the SELLER in the event that the PURCHASE would stop complying with the obligations arising herein and/r in the Operating Rules fo the Club attached.
By reason of the foregoing, the PURCHASER accepts for all the payments made to remain to the benefit of the SELLER, to cover administrative or cancellation expenses generated to the SELLER and/or the CLUB.”

That's your out.

AS well, the United States Consumer Protection Act states: "Consumer Protection in the Unites States: An Overview:
1. Direct Quote: “The FTC derives its consumer protection authority primarily from Section 5(a) of the FTC Act, which prohibits “unfair or deceptive acts or practices in or affecting commerce.”7 According to the FTC, deception occurs when there is a material representation, omission, or practice that is likely to mislead a consumer who is acting reasonably under the circumstances.”

And then there's : "...1. Section 2(3): It is the purpose of this Act to promote protection of consumers with respect to the:
a. Safety, quality, purity, potency, healthfulness durability, performance, repair ability, effectiveness, truthfulness, dependability, availability, and cost of any real or personal property or tangible or intangible goods, services or credit;
b. Section 2(3)(D): prevention f unfair or deceptive trade practices;
c. Section 2(3)(E): maintenance of truthfulness and fairness in the advertising, promotion and sale by a producer, distributor, lender, retailer or other supplier of such property goods services and credit;
d. Section 2(3)(G): protection of the legal rights and remedies of consumers;:"

You have a way out...let us know if this was helpful

This company is a complete fraud. Do not trust this company. They make all kinds of promises of places to go, then after we call to try and see where we can book and more than half of the places were "no longer available". There was no "rescinding" options, nothing. On top of a monthly payment, there is a yearly payment, even if you pay it off.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club we were scammed please help!

We were scammed into the Royal Holidays membership since 2011 in the Dominican Republic. They were crazy persistent and kept us there for hours until we caved in. They treated us like royalty that day and fed us lots of drinks. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Long story short, they are liars and fooled us with promises that were exaggerated from what was written in the contract, not that we paid attention to fine prints and it was too much to read when you're hot and intoxicated so we skimmed through and decided to trust the words that they said to us. We let them have our money for almost 5 years now, blaming ourselves for our stupidity but it's just too much now and fees have gone up!

I just called again today for the last time, to cancel but the representative said we can not cancel the 30 year contract (which we weren't told it was for 30 years at the time we signed amongst other things). The customer service agent was rude and tried to argue with me and repeat things I already heard from them before, so I asked to speak to a manager but she said the manager isn't available. I asked for the manager to call me back but she changed the subject. Awful and unprofessional. We don't even want a refund, even though it's a lot of money from us for nothing! We just want out of the membership and to stop paying without getting bad credit. We only used the membership once because it was a free certificate for new members, we still had to pay our own flights and was stuck with no transportation (which was promised to us) when we arrived in Punta Cana. It was pretty risky and scary because we had our 4 year old and 6 year old daughters with us at that time. Food and hotel was like 3 star it wasn't top 5 star or amazing like what they said.

Every time we called to book a vacation, they never have availability for the date that we want, to the destination we want. They lied to us about 50% off flights too. They could not help us with that at all and many other things are lies. They did not roll over our points as they said they would, we had to call to ask. We don't have time! They said it would be automatically transferred when we first signed up in 2011. We did not use our points for 4 or 5 years now.

Sadly, We traveled through regular itravel2000 agents since 2011 because it is cheaper and had better options. We are paying Royal Holidays for nothing. Please help. We cannot afford it anymore as we are going through a divorce and won't use it at all. Plus the annual fee has gone up from around $300 to $467 USD. We are from Canada. If anyone knows a way out or have gotten out of this contract, please help share your procedure. Thank you.

I bought a timeshare with Royal Holiday and they lied to me at everything, every time I check for travel dates are not available and it's cheaper to booked flight and hotel with Expedia. The service is really bad, I asked to speak to the manager and was told that I cannot talk to her and that I cannot cancel my membership.
Its been a nightmare for me! I was doing a research on internet about this fraudulent resort and how to get out of this fraud, i found this information and i want to share it with you, i hope it helps someone:

Royal Holiday Vacation Club They play awful games and they didn't return money back

Don’t use the website www.royal-holiday.com. This company is real rip off. I ordered tickets and vacation package from them, but the simply played awful game with me. They took money and after that asked for more, ‘coz the vacation program has been changed. After that different excuses and blah-blah, but in result I haven’t used this package at all. They cancelled trip and promised to return money back, but it was scam. Total scam, so don’t buy from them and post comments about your experience with this company.

Royal Holiday Vacation Club Illegal practices

I have been telling about my case here in this website about what happened to me by so called Royal Holiday Club (addressed Ilse of Man and Switzerland). According to my contract its the case of Europe, Bahamas and Cayman Islands (tax fraud?). And now I got a letter from Florida (!) in which they demand me to cease and desist any website further writings or if I did they start legal actions (as I understood the content)!. Im not able to sue RHC here where I live so how come they are able to sue me for instance in Florida where RHC even doesnt exist according to information I got (contract) and no registered information? Am I missing some important point here? Why Americans try to solve the case (or just try to keep threatening me more to keep my mouth shut?) in case Im European and so does RHC I was dealing with? RHC is registered in Isle of Man and Switzerland and should have office in Europe.

English is not my language. Takes a lot to try to make sentences. If this was something I could use my mother language, I'm sure id make much clearer point of everything happened. It's all a way too crazy story to tell even in my own language. So ridiculous. I really have hard times to understand all the parties related to this and their acts. For me this only means criminal business... Nothin but criminal f.e fntc did in this.

I'm very much aware that rhc is not legal business anyhow in Europe, so...

And for me this kind of fraud means also a human right issue (my case), when my (or anyone) rights are taken away by this kind of ridigulous system. Theres f.e. no other contract Im aware of in which peoples rights' are taken away' like in this RHC matter.

As a Finn I have no right to sue them inside EU or In Finland according to my contract, but RHC acts to be legal company inside EU! 'They' obviously only tried to make 'a waterproof' system with all these countries involved with all those odd laws (contract) by trying to take our rights away. To make it all look legal, but in real life impossible us to even try to take anyone to court in this--- or its too expescive without a possibility of class action, or the correct country.. well, one thing I know for sure, theres no need for legal company use all those tricks in legal business! And if ordinary people dont know anyting about their rights, its easy for those law offices (lawyers) abuse the lack of information what becomes to ordinary little people.

But also it doenst matter if you understand the laws if its almost impossible to take this kind of cases to court. This worldwide courtsystem and peoples' rights are not the easiest ones.. But I hope ' the world' would start protecting us better in future against these kind of frauds (by creating such worldwide systems..). In some cases theres no point to even try to take these issues to court, its only waste of money and time.

If I lost the battle doenst mean that RHC is legal or FNTC/First Names Group does legal business, its the opposite.

FNTC=First National Trustee Co, Isle of Man (also in States which trademark IFG Group Ireland owns) ... is very much involved in this my case with so called RHC and all my other complaints are also readable in many places in net. Just by searching FNTC complaints etc.. get to read my crazy story how my money was stolen by them...

After reading International Law books a little bit, I realize something.. In case theres a whole jungle of laws involved in a contract or.. (what ever the case is) as it is at least in my RHC -case except existing laws there should be (like EU laws)... well anyway interesting to read about the laws and try to understand more about how International Law might be the key.

My case should be the issue of Switzerland, GB (Isle of Man) and EU (Madrid) but in my contract theres only mentioned laws of Cayman Island, Bahamas..

I really wonder about the customs of different countries too like this Florida law office was using odd methods also by sending me a letter via Fed Ex which I also should have declared myself (?).

Just getting curious about the laws, tried to read something about Swiss - EU - USA - International.. Different combination of laws. What a jungle it is :D, takes ones lifetime.

Law of Florida differs from law of EU or law of Switzerland or law of Isle of Man, even from law of Mexico...

Theres many laws in the world, and Im sure this law company (mentioned above) knows that too.

What RHC makes to get service from this law office in States (Florida) in this case? I really dont understand. And why they help RHC in this like they do?
