Disappointing Experience with SalonGuys: Poor Customer Service and Subpar Product Quality
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with SalonGuys. The customer service was just not up to par, and the product I received was pretty subpar as well. I ordered a salon styling chair, and when I put it together, it looked like it was about to topple over at any moment. And let me tell you, I've been in the industry for over 20 years and have owned three salons, so I know how to put a chair together. I was really hoping to save some money by ordering from SalonGuys, but I guess you get what you pay for. Next time, I'll stick with the styling chairs I get from my Davidson's rep. It's amazing what a difference $80 can make. It's really a shame that there are companies out there like SalonGuys that don't seem to care about the quality of their products or their customer service. If you're thinking about ordering from them, do yourself a favor and spend the extra $80 bucks. Trust me, it's worth it.
Disappointing Experience with SalonGuys: Constant Equipment Breakdowns and Poor Customer Service
I bought 5 barber chairs from SalonGuys in June 2018. To be honest, I've had a lot of problems with them since then. The equipment keeps breaking down and it's really frustrating. I've had to spend a lot of time fixing things myself, which is not what I expected when I made the purchase.
I've been in touch with SalonGuys about the issues, but their solution is always the same - they send me replacement parts and I have to put them in myself. It's not a great solution, especially since the same problems keep happening over and over again.
I really think that a good company would just replace the product if it's not working properly. I mean, why should I have to keep fixing things myself when I paid good money for the chairs in the first place?
SalonGuys has offered me a discount on new chairs, but honestly, I don't think that's a fair solution either. I shouldn't have to pay more money to replace something that should have worked properly in the first place.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with SalonGuys. I hope they can improve their customer service and product quality in the future.
Disappointing Experience with SalonGuys: Styling Chairs Failed After 3 Years
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with SalonGuys. Back in 2012, my salon purchased 24 styling chairs from them. At first, everything seemed great. But by 2015, we started having some serious issues. Thirteen of the chairs were leaking hydraulic fluid and just wouldn't pump up anymore. It was a real pain in the you-know-what.
So, we reached out to SalonGuys to see what they could do. And you know what they said? They said we must have exceeded the weight limit on the chairs. Can you believe that? I mean, I don't think any of our clients weighed more than 250lbs. And even if they did, shouldn't the chairs be able to handle that?
But it gets worse. When we pushed back, they told us that these chairs were the most economical chairs they had and that they only had a life expectancy of 5-10 years. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but we're not in 2017 or 2022 yet, are we? I mean, come on. We expected these chairs to last much longer than that.
Overall, I was really disappointed with SalonGuys. They didn't stand by their products after just one year, and in this industry, we need our salon styling chairs to last a lot longer than that. I definitely won't be making any more purchases from them in the future.
Beware of SalonGuys' Avondale Lockhart Chair - Poor Quality and No Warranty
I recently made a purchase from SalonGuys and unfortunately, I had to return several items because they didn't fit or work properly. It was a bit of a hassle, but I eventually got my money back. However, my biggest issue was with the Avondale Lockhart chair that I purchased for a pretty penny. I run a small studio salon and only work two days a week, but within a year of purchasing the chair, the seams on the arms started to rip. Now, after only two years, they are completely falling apart.
I reached out to SalonGuys last year to see if there was any warranty on the chair, but unfortunately, there was none. This was surprising to me, as I have never purchased anything for my salon that wasn't warrantied for at least the first year. It's really disappointing that they are taking our hard-earned money and giving us products that don't last.
I just want to warn others out there so they don't make the same mistake I did. It's important to do your research and make sure you're getting a quality product that will last. I hope this review helps others in their search for salon equipment.
Disappointing Experience with SalonGuys: A Review of Their Blow Dryer and Tidal Wave Spray
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience with SalonGuys. I mean, I was really excited to try out their products, but man, did they let me down. I tried out their blow dryer and their tidal wave spray, and let me tell you, my hair was not happy about it.
First of all, the blow dryer was just a disaster. It completely wrecked my hair, taking away any volume or texture that I had before. And don't even get me started on the frizz - it was like a whole new level of frizz that I didn't even know existed. I was really hoping that the tidal wave spray would help me out, but unfortunately, it didn't do much better. Instead of giving me those beachy waves that I was hoping for, it just made my hair even more frizzy and unmanageable.
The worst part is that SalonGuys doesn't even allow returns for their products. They claim that their products work, but clearly that's not always the case. I mean, I don't know if it's even legal for them to do that - it seems like false advertising to me. And to top it all off, their products are pretty pricey, so it's not like I can just brush it off and move on.
Overall, I was really disappointed with my experience with SalonGuys. I wouldn't recommend their products to anyone, and I definitely won't be buying from them again.
Terrible Experience with SalonGuys: Damaged Merchandise and Poor Customer Service
I had a really bad experience with SalonGuys. I spent a lot of money on two shampoo bowls and the shipping was really expensive too. When they arrived, they were all scratched up and when I complained, they accused me of doing the damage myself. I was really disappointed that they wouldn't do anything to help me out.
The worst part was the customer service. I had to wait for days to get a response and when I finally did, they said that I had had the merchandise for too long for them to do anything about it. I had only had it for 30 days, but apparently that was too long. It took me a while to get a plumber in to install the bowls and by the time I complained, we were two days past the deadline.
I really feel like they scammed me. They kept me waiting for so long that I didn't have time to complain within the deadline. It's really sad that a company would treat their customers like this. I won't be doing business with them again and I would advise others to stay away too.
Disappointing Experience with SalonGuys' Faulty Product and Non-Returnable Policy
I recently purchased a digital scale from SalonGuys and unfortunately, it has been quite temperamental from the beginning. I thought I could figure it out on my own, but it proved to be more difficult than I anticipated. Even my co-worker had the same issue with it being faulty and temperamental. When I reached out to SalonGuys about returning it, I was disappointed to learn that it was non-returnable. They required me to send in a video and other information, which was a hassle. This was a huge letdown for me and I will definitely think twice before purchasing equipment from them again. Their return policy is not up to par.
I bought the scale back in June and when I called to inquire about returning it due to its faulty nature, I was met with resistance. It was frustrating to have to buy another scale from Framar, but their return policy was much better. I spoke with a lovely and apologetic representative from SalonGuys, but unfortunately, I was stuck with a useless scale that I eventually had to throw away. It was a waste of money and a frustrating experience overall.
In my opinion, SalonGuys' customer service leaves much to be desired. Their return policy is not customer-friendly and it was disappointing to have to deal with a faulty product without any recourse. I hope they improve their policies in the future to better serve their customers.
Disappointing Experience with Salon Guys: Stained and Ruined Chairs, No Customer Service
I recently ordered six salon chairs from Salon Guys and unfortunately, I have to say that I am extremely disappointed with my purchase. Upon receiving the chairs, I noticed that even a small drip of color or hair product on the arms of the chairs would either leave a permanent stain or completely remove the finish on the metal arms. I immediately contacted Salon Guys and spoke with Katelyn, who claimed that she had never heard of this happening before. She then spoke to the warehouse and suggested that I use some acetone to remove the stains. However, this did not work at all.
I was shocked that this was happening to brand new salon chairs that are supposed to be made for use in a salon. The arms are supposed to be stainless steel, which should mean that they can withstand a little bit of color without completely ruining them. I called back and was supposedly directed to Katelyn's manager, who informed me that this happens all the time and that it is considered "normal wear and tear." I was extremely disappointed to hear this, as I had expected better from a company that specializes in salon equipment.
To make matters worse, the company refused to issue a refund or help me out in any way. I am now stuck with ruined chairs that were costly and look terrible. It is clear that Salon Guys does not stand behind their product at all and does not care about their customers. If you are looking for a quality product or expect any kind of customer service, I would strongly advise against ordering from Salon Guys.
SalonGuys Review: Disappointing Experience with Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased some Fanola shampoo from SalonGuys and I have to say, I was not impressed with the experience. I live in Toronto, Canada and when I created my account on their website, it stated that shipping was free. However, when I tried to place my order online, I was unable to do so as Canadians are not able to place orders online and must call in to place their order. I was disappointed to find out that the toll-free number listed on their website was only available for Americans.
After some searching, I was able to find a US number to call and complain about my order not going through. The lady who answered the phone had a voicemail and her name was Alyssea, or at least that's how I think it's spelled. Unfortunately, she never responded or bothered to call me back. I decided to email them to complain about suddenly receiving a bill in the mail from FedEx stating that I had to pay for tax and duties. Alyssea never informed me about this hidden fee and I was under the impression that shipping was free.
To make matters worse, my order was about $107 USD, which still had to be converted to CAD. Now, I have to pay an additional $77 in tax and duties just to cross the border. I'm paying almost the same amount as my order just to get it shipped to me. If I had known about these extra fees, I would not have placed an order with them. I'm surprised that their business is still running after all the poor reviews they have received.
In my opinion, SalonGuys should be responsible for paying for my tax and duties. It's not fair that I have to pay so much extra just to receive my order. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with SalonGuys and I would not recommend them to anyone.
Mixed Experience with SalonGuys: Easy Purchase, Poor Customer Service, and No Product Warranty
My experience with SalonGuys was pretty good overall. I had to make a big purchase from them when my salon was going through a remodel. I was referred to them by a big company on the East Coast when I was looking for a pre-fab color bar. Since I'm based in California and they're a California-based company, I thought it would be a better fit. The process of buying and receiving my merchandise was easy and simple. The product came in and was pretty much ready to use since it was already built. I just had to mount the top cabinets to the steel brackets that attach to the bottom base cabinet.
However, three weeks into having this $4,000 pre-fab cabinet in my salon, I started to notice that one side of the top cabinet that holds the boxes of hair color was bowing. This means that the bottom section of the cabinet was looking like a bridge. I reached out to them via phone and email and even sent them a video and photos of the three-month-old cabinet falling apart. They all responded back with an email stating that there was nothing they could do. As a business owner myself, I was very disappointed that a company would not stand behind their product after only three weeks. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I wouldn't recommend doing business with them.
If you do decide to purchase from them, I would recommend using an insured card to make sure you're covered since they do not stand behind their product. It's always better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to making big purchases like this. Overall, my experience with SalonGuys was okay, but I wouldn't recommend them based on my experience.

Terrible Experience with SalonGuys: Chair Never Arrived and Poor Customer Service
My experience with SalonGuys was not good at all. I ordered a chair from them, but unfortunately, it never arrived. They did send a carton that was marked as a chair, but when I opened it, I found a pedestal instead. This was a huge disappointment, and I was really frustrated with the whole situation.
To make matters worse, my experience with their customer service was terrible. I tried to contact them to find out what had happened to my chair, but I had a lot of trouble getting through to anyone. When I finally did get in touch with someone, they were not very helpful or friendly.
Overall, I would not recommend anyone to purchase from SalonGuys. My experience was a complete disaster, and I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I did. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy company to buy from, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
Unfriendly Staff and False Promises: My Experience with SalonGuys
SalonGuys is not a good company. Their staff is not friendly and they lie a lot. They will say anything to make you happy, but it's all fake. Mariah is the worst employee there, she is very rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Disappointing Experience: SalonGuys' Salon Chairs Falling Apart After 2 Years
SalonGuys ain't the best place to shop for salon chairs. I bought 4 chairs from them 2 years ago and they're all falling apart. The hydraulic pumps are leaking, the seats are tilting, the foot rests are rusty, and the bases are weak. These chairs are super tippy too, so be careful not to fall over. And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's bad, real bad. If I were you, I'd save my money and shop somewhere else.

Scary Experience with SalonGuys: Beware of Credit Card Charges!
So, I had a bit of a scare with SalonGuys. I was just trying to buy a bottle of shampoo for $29, and next thing I know, my credit card was charged almost a thousand dollars! I was freaking out, but luckily my credit card company called me to let me know what was going on and declined the charge. I'm so glad they caught it before I got stuck with that huge bill!
I don't know what happened with SalonGuys, but I definitely won't be giving them my credit card info again. It's just not worth the risk. I mean, who knows what else they might try to charge me for? It's just not worth it.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with SalonGuys. I was just trying to buy some shampoo, and instead I got a huge headache. I don't know if it was a mistake or if they were trying to scam me, but either way, I'm not happy about it. I would definitely recommend being cautious if you're thinking about buying anything from them. You never know what might happen!
Disappointed with Monroe Chair from SalonGuys: Product Photography Needs Improvement
I just got my Monroe chair from SalonGuys and I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. I ordered it online and the pictures showed a beautiful, shiny leather chair. But what I received was a dull, matte color chair. I was so confused and thought there must have been a mistake. So, I called the customer service line and spoke to a lady who told me that they have professionals come in to take pictures of their products, which is why it looked so shiny in the pictures. She suggested that I put some conditioner on it to make it shine.
I have to admit, I'm pretty sad about this. I was really looking forward to having a shiny new chair in my salon. But I guess I'll have to make do with what I have. The chair itself seems to be good quality and comfortable, so at least there's that. But I do wish that the pictures online had been more accurate.
Overall, I think SalonGuys has some work to do when it comes to their product photography. It's important for customers to be able to see exactly what they're getting before they make a purchase. I hope they can improve this in the future so that others don't have the same experience that I did.
Terrible Experience: Overpriced Shipping, Uncomfortable Chair, and Exorbitant Return Fees
This company is terrible! I can't believe how bad my experience was. I ordered a chair from them and paid $89 for shipping. When it arrived, I was shocked to find that it was way too short and incredibly uncomfortable. I've never had a chair be so uncomfortable before. When I contacted the company to see if I could return it, they told me that I would have to pay $130 to ship it back and then they charged me a $100 restocking fee! I couldn't believe it. They weren't willing to work with me at all. I would never shop here again and I would advise anyone else to stay away from this company. They are terrible!
Disappointing Experience with SalonGuys: Overpriced, Poor Quality, and Absurd Return Policy
I recently purchased a salon sink from SalonGuys and I must say, I was disappointed with my experience. The price of the sink was quite high to begin with, and when it arrived, it just didn't fit the space I had intended for it. I attempted to return it, but the return policy was so ridiculous that it would have cost me more than what I paid for the sink just to return it! Needless to say, I was quite upset.
In the end, I decided to install the sink in my basement at home. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst sink I have ever used. It was too shallow and small, and it leaked every time I used it. I was so frustrated with my experience that I would strongly advise others to avoid SalonGuys altogether.
Overall, my experience with SalonGuys was quite disappointing. The high price of the sink, combined with the absurd return policy and poor quality of the product, left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for quality salon equipment.
Effective Fanola No Yellow Shampoo from SalonGuys, but received used bottle
SalonGuys is a great website to buy hair products from. I recently purchased the Fanola No Yellow Shampoo and it really does work like a charm. It got rid of all the golden tones in my hair and left it looking fresh and vibrant.
However, when I received the product, I noticed that the bottle looked like it had been used before. This was a bit disappointing, especially since I paid over $60 for it. I decided not to return it because it was still almost full, but I would suggest that SalonGuys deliver brand new, unused bottles to their customers.
Overall, I am happy with my purchase from SalonGuys. The website is easy to navigate and they have a great selection of hair products. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality hair care products.
Terrible Experience with SalonGuys: Missing Item and Poor Customer Service
Don't even bother with SalonGuys! I made the mistake of ordering two facial steamers from them and only received one. I was so frustrated that I called FedEx to see if they could help me locate the missing box. But they told me that only two boxes were shipped. When I finally received the boxes, I was shocked to find out that one steamer was divided into two boxes! Can you believe it? And when I tried to get a refund or exchange, they told me that they couldn't do anything because the boxes go by weight. What a joke! I strongly advise you to think twice before ordering from this company. And I think Amazon should reconsider having them on their site.
SalonGuys Betrayed My Trust: Personal Information Given Out Without Consent
I recently had an experience with SalonGuys (salonguys.com) and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I was referred to them by another barbershop who had a good experience with them, so I decided to give them a try. I purchased 8 chairs from them and they arrived in a timely manner. I was very happy with my purchase and everything seemed to have gone well.
However, the following week, I found out that Brennen or Brendan (I'm not sure of the spelling) from SalonGuys had given out my name, order information, price paid, and other personal details to a shady supply store. This store was trying to make a deal with SalonGuys and become their local distributor. I was shocked and disappointed to hear this. I had trusted SalonGuys with my personal information and they had betrayed that trust.
Identity theft is a serious issue and I don't want to risk it. I would advise anyone considering ordering from SalonGuys to think twice. They may not keep your personal information confidential and that could lead to serious consequences. It's better to be safe than sorry. I would recommend ordering from another company that values their customers' privacy and security.
Terrible company to deal with!
Ordered a curling Iron from www.salonguys.com and received an incorrect one. I've purchased the most expensive one but the one I received was two times cheaper! I contacted them and they said that iron which I ordered was not in stock and offered to refund me the price difference. I refused and said that I'm sending it back for a full refund. They said that they don't accept returns. They left me no other choice! Terrible company to deal with!
Disgusting, terrible company! Don't order from SalonGuys!!!
I have ordered some items from www.salonguys.com and everything arrived damaged. I contacted these guys and asked for a refund and they said that they need to check something and later they will provide me a return label. Waited for about two weeks and started to get nervous, because there was no information from SalonGuys and I had only two weeks left to return.
When I tried to contact them myself they ignored me and they finally contacted me back only when 30 days already passed. They said that refund was not possible since 30 days passed and there was nothing they could do!
They did it on purpose! Disgusting, terrible company! This place needs to be shut down!
No refund and the seller can't deliver the correct order
I bought beauty products from the company www.salonguys.com. The order was delivered three days after that, but the package contained some strange bottles, which I haven’t ordered. I emailed the seller and asked why he has sent me strange bottles. The seller told me that they didn’t have some products and therefore they have changed some of them. I told...

The website looks good but the company is terrible. If you live in their neighborhood it might be worth the risk to buy from them but otherwise stay away. They will happily ship you back your broken part till your warranty runs out rather than "replace" the part and be out of pocket. The customer service people seem nice but really they are well aware that all they need to do is to string you along till your warranty is up and then they win by never replacing the part and yet they pretend to try. They must literally just put what you send to them in a new box and wait a few weeks and then send the junk back to you. They prefer to pay their shipper to ship stuff 3 or 4 times around the country rather than just replace the broken part. Avoid. Not only is this frustrating for the customer but a huge waste of your time and it can cost a lot of money shipping the stuff to them.
Instructions on how to put together the universal shampoo bowl
I bought a facial steamer from Salon Guys and it never worked correctly right out of the box. I contacted them and they said they would send me a part to replace that would fix the problem. Two months later I received the part and after installing it, it didn't fix the problem.
I contacted them again and they said my only option was to ship it to them at my expense for them to repair and pay for the return shipping, which was $50. I told them I shouldn't have to do this since I bought a brand new piece of equipment that did not work from the time I opened the packaging and plugged it in.
They said that was my only option and that they would not send me a new one. Do not buy anything from Salon Guys. They do not stand behind their products and will rip you off if you have any issues with something you buy from them. This is not the only complaint from other customers of theirs about this issue.
Here is my video story, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kkbgR1NFF8 and here are some other complaints, http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.salonguys.com
Purchased an apron on the advice of another stylist. After a coupl weeks the fabric frayed and pulled away from the zipper. Clearly a bad sewing job. The apron looks brand new besides that. Salon Guys will not exchange or refund as I called them a couple days after their 15 day warranty. (15 days? Are you f'ing kidding?). Do not shop with them. They are ONLY concerned in your
money and not about taking care of their customers or the quality of their products.
Received a towel warmer from them, but it broke within three weeks. The customer service refused to do anything, and they were very rude. NEVER buy anything from them.
I bought a facial steamer from Salon Guys and when it arrived, it did not work properly. After I called them about it, they said they would send me a part to repair it. It took two months to get the part and it did not repair the problem. Then they told me they would repair it if I shipped it to them and paid for the return shipping which was $50.
I told them that was insane since I bought a new piece of equipment that did not work from the time I took it out of the box and that they should just send me a new one that works. They refused and told me that shipping them the original unit for repair at my cost of $50 for the shipping was the only option.
Don't buy anything from them and get ripped off like I did. Here is my story on YouTube, www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kkbgR1NFF8 and here are some other consumer complaints about Salon Guys, http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.salonguys.com
