I have been charged for a membership fee twice in 2024 and 2025 but only had one membership. I have cancelled my account but will ultimately be charged again in October because sams will not remove my credit card from their system. I am told they cannot identify which account is using my card for their membership. How can I rectify this issue without cancelling my card? And how do I get my $100 refund for the overcharges?
Claimed loss: $100
Desired outcome: $100 refund and my credit card removed from your auto billing system! Someone is getting a free membership on me and it needs to be corrected.

I purchased a $20 Sams Club membership from Groupon a year ago. I immediately created an account and turned off auto-renew. However, Sams Club not only renewed a $20 account without my consent but also upgraded my account by charging $60. Ironically, the "return & refund" option as well as the online help center denies access. I have tried accessing it on three different computers without success. I am currently disputing the unauthorized charge with my bank, but I also need to report this issue to Consumer Affairs, the FTC, and any other regulatory bodies that oversee these practices.
