I purchased a PN43E450A1-Samsung-PN43E450 - 43" PDP 720P 600HZ HDTV as well as a Samsung DVD from Best Buy. I paid for home delivery as well as installation. The installation made by the delivery people failed, so I had to call a technician from Comcast. This individual fixed the TV but failed with the DVD. I called Samsung Customer Support at [protected]. I spoke to two people there. A woman first who had no idea how to install the DVD and who hang-up on me, and a fellow who tried his best but did not know either. Not only they did not know, but they didn't even have a manual with instructions or picture of the DVD or TV. I have given up on your people and I have had to call someone (that will charge me) to come to my place and see what is wrong with either the TV or the DVD. In addition, your manuals are written in such miniscule lettering that is almost impossible to read them. Your products may be good, but your customer service is very bad. Eugene Matta

Apprently all my incomming and outgoing calls are getting disconnected automatically.
The shopkeeper has flashed the software twice for me but i am still facing the same problem now.

Am a Samsung galaxy y user. I bought this phone happily before few months. Bt now am totally disappointed with it. It has lot of problems. The problems are as follows-

Since the date I purchased the mobile, within 3-4 days I discovered that when I write messages to anybody with more than 80 characters it automatically switches off.When I informed this to the Service center in Bhubaneswar, the engineer there just formatted the mobile & said there will be no problem, but it happened again & when I went to the Service center they again reformatted it & returned it to me.I then talked with the manager there whose name is Mr. Deepak Jain & he assured me that there will be no further problem.But the problem persisted & another problem cropped up i.e.the voice of the person at other side of the mobile was audible but my voice was not audible to him/her.When I went to the Service center this time & told about this new problem & also about the persisting problem he opened the cell in front of me & deposited it & told me he will repair it & return me the next day.When I went there the next day he told that some components are missing & so it is not covered under the warranty.I was surprised how the component could disappear when the other day only he dismantled the phone & checked it in front of me.So, I called upon the manager Mr Deepak Jain & told another thing.Firstly he scolded that engineer then told that every component was ok but it has fungus upon it, so it will not come under warranty.I don't know who is correct, the engineer or the manager but I understood they are trying to fool every customer & telling them their cell is out of warranty showing one or the other reason & extracting money from them instead of providing them free service.

I had a problem with my phone recently. The problem i faced was a sort of stuck set which effectively made the phone unusable. It would register a screen press or button press many minutes after pressing or more often not register at all. The backlight would persist indefinitely.
I thought I would give it at the samsung service centre at Ameerpet, Hyderabad, India. Someone told me not to give my faulty cell phone to samsung care, but i thought I would, since i assumed the original service centre would offer some measure of reliability. I was sadly mistaken.
After a terribly unpleasant wait of 3 hours just to see a technician at the centre, I was told the technician would attempt a software reset, if it did not resolve the issue he would change parts to solve the problem. I was told i could call the service centre to receive information on the status of my phone. I called two days later, and the person on the line said no such phone had been given and that the system had no such entry. They asked me to bring my receipt and come to the shop. The shop is quite far away from my house but because i was worried about the phone i made the trip immediately. After going there, I was told that the technician who was repairing my phone was waiting for some "lcd link wire" part to arrive. On receiving this part he would call me. I requested to speak to him personally at the time to find out about the software update but I was told that he would call me and thats I could not speak to him at the time. They gave me his name, which was written on the receipt. I left the shop and called the number and asked to speak to him. This was again denied and I was told he would call me.
After a few days I received a call from samsung care who told me that my phone required replacing of the touchscreen. This would cost 1500 rupees. I accepted and was told that i could collect the phone anytime. Afterwards I searched on the internet and found that the price of the digitizer/Touchscreen for my phone model s5230a (otherwise called samsung star) was a mere 2.5 dollars till around 5 dollars(comes from 100 rupees to 250 rupees) and ebay selling it for 300 rupees. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=samsung+gt-s5230+digitizer
When i went to collect my phone I asked the person why they were charging me more than ten times the price. They replied evasively about taxes and service charges. And asked me to bring it up with the company. When i received my phone i noticed several places where the paint was chipped off and a large distortion in the centre of the screen which occurred when i used the touchscreen. The distortion was similar to when the screen is pressed hard. When i asked the person about it I was told the lcd also has problems and would require replacement. Then i carefully observed the phone and noticed that the technician had not put it together properly and there was a clicking sound when i pressed down on the front of the screen and something shifted and settled inside. The distortion reduced and i was left with a deep sense of disappointment in samsung service. I was sure I would never come to samsung care again, and realized why my friend had warned me so.
POOR SERVICE, SHODDY WORKMANSHIP, OVERPRICING and CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS are the reasons why I would advice all samsung customers never to go to samsung care.

• Date of purchase: 8/27/11
• Place of purchase: Pacific Sales, Carlsbad, Ca
• Problem: Poor washing performance. Cotton clothes, towels, etc., consistently have a malodorous scent. Odor is best described as "musty."
• Complaint filed with Pacific Sales warranty dept. with service call made 3/26/12 for poor performance, lack of warm and hot water. The service man said this is the way the washers are designed. The washer uses so little water that by the time the hot water gets through the pipes and into the washer, no more water is dispensed. He said the washers currently being designed (and to come out soon) will not even have a hot water option. He suggested that I use the "steam, " "prewash, " and "heavy duty" settings with hot or extra hot when I want a better wash.
• Complaint filed with Samsung 6/11/12, service call made on 6/21/12 for poor performance and malodorous scent left on cotton clothes, towels, sheets, etc. The service technician (Name: Cristian, from Tekniton Innovative Technology Solutions) altered the position of the drain hose so it was not so deep in the drain. He was very confident this was the cause of the malodor. He also told me that the washer performs better with larger loads. This is exactly opposite of what the sales person at Pacific sales told us. I made it very clear when we were purchasing the washer that the majority of loads I wash are very small (daily). The only reason we bought the largest drum is because it has the capacity to do bedspreads, comforters, etc. I asked the sales person: "so there is no down-side to purchasing the largest capacity machine if the overwhelming majority of the loads I wash are very small"? He said "no...absolutely no downside...it will just give you the ability to wash large items when you need to."
• What I have tried in an effort to "deal with" and "rectify" the problem: Always used only HE detergent, changed/altered the amount of detergent used, tried multiple detergent brands, used all the settings described above: "steam, ", "prewash, " "heavy duty, " "hot, " "extra hot" (which, by the way, takes 1.5 to 1.75 hours for one cycle, and I'm sure does not at all fall into "energy saving").
What I would like: I would like Samsung or Pacific Sales to pick up the washer and refund the purchase price ($1, 064.98 not including tax) or give credit toward a new and different washer. We also need a dryer that matches the size of the new washer. We also purchased stands for both the washer and dryer and they need to be resolved along with the washer replacement.

Now a leading electronics brand Qatar has set nad example to SAMSUNG by carrying out a 30% discopunt promotion over few feeks. It was on 11th March 2010 SAMSUNG cheated QATAR customer base by 50% mega promotion of Samsung LCD 37". Promotion was advertised in Qatar News Papers on the day of promotion, and offer was 50% off on Samsung 37" LCD TV's.
Many customers gathered near Samsung showrooms located in various places in Doha but it was a total disappointment for thousands of customers. According to showrooms LCD Tv's were sold out even before they opening the show rooms.
Its my feeling that these kind of promotions are so disgraceful and a total dissapointment for th customers and Samsung should appologise and carry out another one to restore their tarnished name.

After many hours on the phone today with both T-Mobile and Samsung, Sarah C at T-Mobile cust svc confirmed this evening that the S3 device is not compatible with some Microsoft Exchange email. T-Mobile Blackberry worked just fine yesterday with this email account, but when my husband switched to his brand new S3, it didn't work. Samsung walked him through a firmware update, still no connection. Multiple T-Mobile tech support folks seem unaware of this, even though I am finding lots of similar complaints on the web. I, too, have an S3 which is working great with my gmail and yahoo accounts. Unfortunately, hubby needs exchange email for work. When he complained that he was sold a phone that is missing a critical function, they said it was not their issue. When he asked to speak to the complaint resolution department, Sarah C said they don't speak to customers directly because angry customers can be abusive, so all are required to submit their complaints via fax (!), email or letter. He received the same answer when requesting to speak directly to a person regarding contract disputes. He was also told the names of department heads were unknown to her.
I ACTUALLY WORK FOR T-MOBILE AND I CAN ASSURE YOU THE GALAXY S3 WORKS GREAT ON GMAIL AND OTHER EMAIL.. MICROSOFT EXCHANGE WORKS GREAT WITH WINDOWS PHONES SUCH AS THE NOKIA LUMIA. I requested an RMA for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 which would not retain a charge or even charge up. I contacted Samsung who recommended a replacement from Newegg as the product was defective after having it only for a few hours. The battery icon would show a red x and intermittently the screen would flicker. I plugged the device in and would not charge or even power up. After charging for 18 hours it still only showed about 50-60% charged. Newegg issued an RMA and received it the following day. They said 3-4 days and did not hear back for 8. Their response was the unit was not defective and must have been from a virus or bad software. Interestingly the device was on all factory defaults with no software installed by us. I have a Samsung Galaxy tab 101 and Galaxy Nexus and have many other android devices and am quite versed on how they run and should run. Samsung is also aware of some charger issues on their devices. So I would give Newegg a poor grade for not returning the product as requested when I contacted both Samsung and Newegg within hours after receiving the defective unit. They said they are just returning it to me event though I want a refund. If it was 30+ days I could understand heir response. Best Buy and other companies have way better return policies.

Dear Sir I purchased a Sumsung Smart Hand phone from a local s Sumsung dealer from Johor Bahru about six months ago.
Suddenly the phone was unable to charge. So I took both the phone and the charger to the shop where I bought the phone. The checked and told me that the charger is is working fine and the phone is the problem and told me that water has gone into the phone.
The phone seller advised me to leave the phone behind and send the phone to the service centre to check and that will take about one week. I asked where is the service centre and the gave me the address which is about five minutes drive away from their shop. Since one week was too long to be without my phone I decided to take there by my self.
When I reached at the service centre I was asked to see the girl who was at the counter. This girl who hardly speaks English may be around 25 years old and just had a look and told me that water has gone inside the phone that is the reason the phone is not charging and with great difficulty in communicating with her I told her that it is impossible because I never exposed to any water since I bought this phone. In fact I always keep the phone in my pocket at any time and she printed out a report saying that there is no more warranty on the phone.
In fact I was so up set a girl who can't even seek properly in English and takes only few second to tell me that there is no warranty because the water has gone inside.
I took the report ([protected] ) and left and informing the girl that I will make report regarding this.
I brought the phone home since I am an engineer by profession I know what causes this type of problem. Since the the phone has no more warranty I decided to do the repairs by my self.
All I did was sprayed very littele contact spray in the pointt where the charging point in the phone is and waited for few seconds and put the phone on charge and it worked fine. So what I am trying to say is that as Sumsung specialist the technician in the service could have done this simple process and could have made me happy customer. Now I am so cheesed off that I will not recommend or even advise whoever not to buy Sumsung phones.
Please employ people who can speak and understand English no like the one whom I met.
I HOPE Sumsung would take some serious action on this matter.
