Me and my hubby sold our crib and moved into an apartment complex run by Sandstone Realty and it's been smooth sailing. Whenever we need something fixed, they get on it quick depending on how bad it is. Big ups to Sandstone Realty!

Sandstone Realty ain't doing a good job of keeping their tenants in check! These folks are acting up and making our neighborhood look bad. They're so bad that we had to start a "block watch" just to keep an eye on them. Even Children's Services had to get involved because of what's going on in their house! And don't even get me started on the state of the property. There's no maintenance at all! The window screens got ripped out as soon as the tenants moved in, and the storm windows are gone too. The lawn and shrubs are all messed up, and there are a bunch of teenage troublemakers hanging around causing problems. The trash cans are always overflowing, and they leave old mattresses and furniture out on the curb for weeks at a time. It's gross! We tried calling Sandstone Realty to let them know what's going on, but the receptionist, Connie, hung up on us a few times. Not cool! #SMH

My daughter and her boyfriend wanted to see a house that was available. They got a passcode to enter the house and look at it. They decided to rent it and paid $50 for a background check. They called on Monday to talk about renting the house, but the office said it was already rented and they wouldn't get their money back. This was a scam. The house was still listed online, and they didn't tell anyone it was rented. I contacted the company, but they didn't respond. Don't use this company, they'll take your money and not do any work. Beware.

Lack of response and ignoring of concerns.
I am a South African-based owner of UK property and Sandstone is my landlord. I seem to be billed excessively, often without prior permission for expenses, and am not getting responses to my enquiries. Today I was finally supposed to have a Teams Meeting with the property manager and her superior, after months of trying to engage constructively. They did not send a meeting invite and the property manager is now not available. I am getting very worried about the security of my investment. Is there an official UK body that can assist? I can provide more details.
Claimed loss: Not known. More a concern about charges and potential future losses.
Desired outcome: An intermediary assist me and possible help me find another more reliable property manager.

I had a property in Maple Heights, OH and Sandstone Realty was my Property Mgmt company until my contract ended on 3/13. I don't live in the area, so I asked them to refund my tenant's security deposit of $850. I've been waiting for 53 days now and still haven't received the payment. They said they issued a check, but it hasn't arrived yet. I asked them to re-issue the check, but they haven't replied yet. It's frustrating to deal with them.

I moved into 1348 east erie ave on October 16th. On October 28th, I had to call the gas company out to have my neighbors' heat shut off due to the excessive heat coming from their side of the duplex we rent from Sandstone Realty. The gas company representative wrote up the heating issue, also describing that there are two separate meters for this property, and the issue needed to be fixed immediately due to the other tenant's heat coming into my part of the duplex. The other tenant was on vacation the entire time from October 17th, until November 6th, when her car finally reappeared in the parking lot in the back of our rental property. While the other tenant was on vacation, I was told by Sandstone Realty that the heat issue could not be fixed until she was home and allowed maintenance to come into her rental property. From October 29th - November 8th, this heating issue was not considered an emergency, yet on November 9th, I received a phone call from Sandstone Realty claiming all of a sudden it was an emergency, and they were to enter my rental property within 24 hrs to fix the issue. I spoke with *** who made this decision and didn't even allow me to try and reschedule, let alone speak on my behalf in regards to myself being an essential healthcare worker, and I also did not want their maintenance vendor in my rental property when I was not home due to COVID-19 and the possibility of germs, etc., spread throughout my rental property. I was not given the same privilege as the tenant next door at 1350 east erie ave to say no one was allowed in my rental property when I wasn't home, regardless of me being an essential healthcare worker and the neighbor not working at all. I lost 5 1/2 hours of my shift on November 10th, due to ***'s neglect to take the proper precautions for essential healthcare workers, let alone any type of precaution for the COVID-19 virus that is currently widespread throughout the state of Ohio. Not only was I treated with such disregard by ***, but also the Sandstone Realty representative that showed up to open my door, and the vendor himself was not wearing any PPE whatsoever, even after I informed *** that I was an essential healthcare worker and didn't want anyone in my rental property when I was not home for that exact reason.
