An elderly lady was struck by a worker in their car while walking through the parking lot. The worker cut through an open parking space and did not brake. The manager was notified by another customer and did not call 911. The elderly lady’s family arrived on scene and contacted 911, to which ambulance and police were dispatched. The staff was standing around the injured lady and no one called 911. She suffered a broken leg, nose, and severe abrasions to the head area.
Desired outcome: I cannot understand how someone deemed fit to be a manager doesn’t think to call 911. A lay person would know what to do. Some sort of crisis training or a new manger is necessary.
