Burnley shop.
Called into today Gary, very ubrupt, cut me off,
Said account staff wouldn't take new cheque, cash only
talking over me, felt small .other guy a few days before said ok, for cheque.other said cash .got upset when went to bank.my hubby chatting, whilst was out.gary said was waiting for cash or cheque.told me cash.made me feel small

Desired outcome: Voucher, letter of apology

Scoota Mart invacare leo 4mph mobility scooter

I bought a new Invacare Leo mobility from Scootamart Preston in July 2018.
Part of the buying incentive offered to me was a rear bag, mirror and puncture proofing to the tyres.
In Mar ch of this year the rear left tyre punctured and went down to the rim making it impossible to ride home, a passerby had to help me home and push the scooter for me allowing me to stop and rest on it when I needed to.
I phoned Scootamart in Preston to report the problem and was told that the service department would contact me to arrange repair. I had to wait 2 days for a return call after which the scooter was collected. I discussed the fact that the tyres were supposed to be puncture proofed to which I was told that there is no such thing as puncture proofing and that all tyres can be punctured! now when I bought the scooter I was under the impression that 'puncture proof' meant proof against puncture well you would wouldn't you? I was not advised any different had I known otherwise I would have bought a scooter with solid tyres as I need the assurance of not being stranded away from home, which indeed has happened. In addition the fact that the tyre deflated down to the rim was suggesting that no puncture proofing had not been carried out, in fact the work needed was to repair the tyre and do puncture proofing to all 4 tyres. Surely this is a breach of contract as the scooter was sold to me as being puncture proofed on collection when in fact it wasn't at all? However 6 weeks later the left rear tyre has started to deflate and I cannot use the scooter as it leans to the left which is uncomfortable for me making my back ache. I phoned Scootamart to report the problem and was told that they would pass the details to the service dept, I waited by the phone all day with no response so I phoned Scootamart again in the morning and asked again for a repair, yet again I was told they would be in contact with me but there would be a call out charge of £40.
The first call was made on Wednesday a.m last week and we are now on Monday evening and still no return call from the service department, even allowing for Easter Friday, Sunday and Monday they still have had 3 working days to arrange repair.
I have no confidence in the scooter now or the repairs carried out and wish to return it to you. I can appreciate that I have had 7 months use of the scooter so do not expect a full refund, however you must appreciate how disappointed I am and the amount of stress this has caused me.
In the meantime I have had to buy a second hand scooter to use, it is in 'as new' condition and hopefully will be more reliable than the Invacare Leo.
I am reluctant to pay the £40 call out fee to have another repair done that was only 'repaired' 6 weeks ago. I am hoping that you are able to help me either return the scooter and refund me £500 of the purchase price of £1200 or repair it free of charge so that I can sell it.
I await your reply, in the meantime I have decided not to allow any repairs to be done at my expense.

Scoota Mart Disappointed

I have ordered a scooter from ScootaMart website and never received my order because it was cancelled. They cancelled my order and never bothered to contact me and tell. I waited for ages and there was no sign of my order. I contacted ScootaMart and asked about my order and only then I found out what happened. Later they gave me my money back.
First of all I'm disappointed with ScootaMart unprofessional service, and the second one I'm sad that I did not received the scooter, it was surprise birthday present for my son. I will not use ScootaMart again.
