I have reported a cas from January 2022.enailed documents as requested 4 times. Got one ohone call and got cut off. Never received a call in regards to case. If i phone nobody can assist. Fet put on hold and get cut off.
If you asked to speak to supervisor phone gets cut off.

I am emailing to report to you about the matter mentioned above on a subject. On the 12 to 16 July 2021, I was scheduled by UNISA to attend to the visual class for the Practical in relation to the module - HSE2603. Then on the second day of the 13th July 2021, Prof/Dr Mokoena who was facilitating the class announced in the class that I must remove myself from the class and book to attend the class for the next year (2022). This took place during the closing of the class for the day. While the educator wrapped up the session, she told all students to ask questions if there were any. I also raised my hand to ask for the clarity and understanding on what will be expected for the next day. I was very shocked, humiliated and degraded when Pro/Dr Mokoena announced that she is removing me from the class without and valid reason or following the procedure for suspending the student from that particular module. I was not even an opportunity to state the side of my story.
I followed her advise to inform the educator (Prof Mfidi) who is responsible for this module. I have a feeling that my constitutional rights such as access to attend the class and complete the qualification were violated while I was permitted to study. This is not for the first time, last year (2020) same incident took place where I was prevented to attend the visual class. I had to re-register for 2021, then the same thing happened and instructed to re-register the same module for the third time.
My request is to ask Scorpion Legal Protection to attend to this matter so that I am given an opportunity to attend the visual class as there are still some dates to come.

My case is a Fraud related matter with a UIF money, Scorpion has been writing wedding invitation emails to my Boss claiming they wrote an email when I read those emails they were too much out of topic. They were poorly begging the Boss to pay me once opened the case on November 2020 now its August 2021 nothing changes instead of facing Criminals of my company they decided to join them. Talking in favor of the criminal as a legal firm is a very red flag. I've decided to take the case to former Justice Johan Coenraad Froneman and he will show Scorpion how it's done in the legal Department.

Poor and non-responsive legal assistance from your legal advisor Mr Ngwenya in Bloemfontein
In October 2020 I asked for a legal intervention against Edgars. The matter is that Edgars made deductions for unauthorized subscription from 08 January 2019 to August 2020 when I discover such a deductions. I then asked for a cancellation of such and be refunded for all my deduction.
After several attempts Edgars cancelled the subscriptions, but nothing was said about the refund. I made sent several emails to edgars for my refund without response.
In October I went to Bloemfontein legal protection offices for legal intervention. I provided all the information to Mr Ngwenya in Bloemfontein. He only gave me a feedback in February 2021 that the matter has been resolved and Edgars will credit my account. He indicated that my file will be closed.
A week later I called Mr Ngwenya to inform him that Edgars branch in Bloemfontein confirmed as per their system that the matter is still not resolved and the status quo with my account remains the same.
My Ngwenya promised to revert back to me. He never did until in April when I received an sms from scorpion legal protection that the matter has been resolved and the file will be closed.
I then went to the Bloemfontein branch to make a follow up. The receptionist in your branch checked on the system and indicated that apparently I was called and I confirmed that the matter has been resolved. I disputed that. I was never called and the matter has not been resolved. I confirmed that with Edgars branch in Bloemfontein.
She took all me information and promised that the legal advisor Mr Ngwenya will call me for update.
On the following day I sent Mr Ngwenya an email. He responded that he will revert back to me very soon. He never did.
After a period of a month I sent him an email for a follow up. Mr Ngwenya never reverted to me as he promised. Mr Ngwenya has not reverted back to me to date.
The matter with Edgars remains and I have made several attempts to get legal intervention from scorpion legal protection. However I am being disregarded and your system says I have been contacted and the matter has been resolved to my satisfaction. This is not true and I have never received any communication to confirm that the matter with Edgars has been resolved.
Mr Ngwenya in Bloemfontein does not call or give me any feedback instead he ignores my emails.

As a member I was requested to consult with a lawyer in the Roodepoort offices with an appointment made and confirmed. After having driven for 40 km to the offices no lawyer was available and a telephonic consultation was held with a practitioner in CARLETOnville- however I was advised the policy only covers disputes re an estate to a limited amount and further no appointment with an attorney could be made as the cover does not address estates.
The service was simply unacceptable with limited support let alone with no referral made to any firm of attorneys.
Accordingly what is advertised and what is offered is a misrepresentation and a sham.
My membership my be cancelled with immediate effect as the help services are far from what the law profession standards require.

1. I always made a follow up on all my reported cases and been assured with this empty promises ever, the case of damaged property was reported and I was promised to get feedback on this case after 17 days, days passed after the 17th day promised and never been called back by Andile Nxumalo, I am still waiting
2. On the 30 October 2020 I called Roodepoort branch for appointment booking, and been promised to be called on the 13th November 2020 of which all the unfair labor practices documents was submitted into the that branch on the 7th November 2020 and waited to be called back on the 13th November date set by your consultant, today is the 17th November 2020 and I never received any call
On the 14 November I called the Roodepoort branch to remind that about the call I was waiting for in the 13th which I wasn't called, we reschedule the call back to be on Monday the 16th November, they never called again, I had to call again and ask for a call back, they promised to called me first thing in the morning on the 17th November 2020
I am still waiting for their call and attempted to call them but my phone has never been answered
I want to know what else I have to do to be taken seriously on all this matters

Scorpion Legal is dealing with my motor vehicle collision case since July 2017 till this day November 2018 my case has not been resolved. Nirvana Maraj the senior claims handler is handling my case I send her countless emails with no feedback whatsoever she just ignores my emails it's way over a year with scorpion handling my case with no movement in this case. My grandmother is a scorpion legal protection member and she had brought forward a case of a tenant who doesn't want to leave my grandmother's house we have given her a notice on the 22 May 2018 to vacate the premises on the 11 june 2018 and she refused we further gave her a chance to look for a place and leave the house by end of June yet she refused...we took the matter to scorpion legal protection East London branch (assisted by Mr Mkhari) who later on referred us to Mr Zondo who said he will issue a notice of eviction but till now nothing happened... I Ntomboxolo Theodora Toto ID number : [protected] a policy holder at Scorpion Legal Protection requested Scorpion Legal Protection to pursue a matter between me and Ms Tembela Mnqeta ( Outsurance Car Insurance ) a third party in a car accident which occured on the 17.12.2017 . Mrs Tembela Mnqeta agreed to pay for all the repairs to my car and for a courtesy car as she was the one on the wrong .
Four months has since passed on and my car has not been repaired . Scorpion is taking months to resolve a straight forward matter like this having been furnished with all the required documentation .

It is very unfair that we are getting service from your guys call center. On Friday the 9th February i called and spoke to a vincent Vuma, While explaining to him i got cut off, i called back and asked to speak to him again and i was told he is not available. The lady whom i spoke to was very arrogant and somehow i got cut off. the last person i spoke to was a Vuyo who asked me to send a detailed email explaining my problem, i sent the email yesterday. her email adrs is [protected]@scorpion.biz she has not responded to the email i sent yesterday and today. in the meantime i still have an urgent matter that needs full attention and i have no confirmation as to whom is handling the matter.
I am also not very happy with the way the legal advisors too late respond or not respond at all to our correspondences. They sometimes ask you to send this and that and you send them, after that it takes them forever to come back to you if they ever do. Is it perhaps because some clients membership is more important than others?I am well aware that you have a lot of clients but that must not be an excuse at the expense of your clients, we joined you because we believe in your service, don't just make money and forget about servicing or poorly servicing those financially are supporting you. Get more staff if it needs to be, if you have a lot of clients to be timeously covered by the present staff.

I logged a complaint with scorpion in November 2016 regarding a matter where I was sold a damaged car which broke down and the person refused to take it back. scorpion accepted the case but have not assisted me in any way as i have struggled to get any feedback or help from them.I have already paid R42900 for a car i am not using and every time I ask for feed back i get excuses but monthly they deduct their premiums. Scorpion has not been fair to me and i would never recommend their services to any one.The current person who is handling my case is Nirvana Maraj and I feel she is not doing enough to assist me.
Requested legal assistance regarding a civil matter
On Wednesday 29 March 2017, I contacted the Scorpion Legal call centre, spoke to a consultant who informed me that due to high call volumes they will not be able to call me back immediately, however he asked what the reason for my call were. I advised the consultant that I have a son 18 years old at school still (matric) who was playing rugby for a private RFC without us knowing. We barred him previously from playing due to the various dangers of the sport, but most importantly for him not to be distracted from his school work. Yesterday he suffered a severe head injury during a practice session of which we we unaware as we thought that he is hanging out with friends. He came home just after 9pm last night and were complaining of severe headaches and was extremely confused and did not make any sense when comprehending. We took him to our medical doctor earlier today and it was medically confirmed that he suffered a severe concussion to the head and we were advised to immediately take him for a scan to establish severity of the head injury. I contacted the club he is playing for who blamed everyone except themselves. I was trying to explain this to the consultant who instead told me about children act, etc instead of trying to listen and to understand circumstances behind entire scenario. Scorpion Legal consultant extremely unprofessional and lack of compassion. I will resort to other alternatives for assistance instead of having to deal with an insensitive individual.

Since I handed this matter to your organisation I would like to voice out dissatisfaction and disappointment in the conduct of your employees (Victor Ramollo & Bontle) . They failed to resolve the matter in a professional manner which demonstrates competency and this has had financial implications on me. I have come to a conclusion that your organisation is nothing but a “scam” promising people legal assistance that is not there.
The mail below does not need interpretation. It states clearly that 2016 account was paid up/settled by myself in full at an amount of R3600.00 as per agreement between Prosperitas Debt Collector and your Victor Ramollo on my behalf. I then immediately requested a formal R0.00 balance statement from the school that handed the account over to no avail, their Finance Monica kept saying she was still busy working on other accounts of the school, they had lost all records of the accounts and they were trying to recover. I waited for more than a month and only got an sms from the school towards the 2nd month in July 2016 that my account was behind with –R840.00, I sent numerous emails to the school to send me statement so I could pay to no avail.
Immediately after that the account was handed over again, I reported that to your Victor Ramollo and asked him to intervene regarding the statement of account. From July I have been making a payment of R840.00 to the school on each month assuming that was the monthly school fees since the school had failed to provide me with a formal bill of fees. I requested your Victor Ramollo to intervene so I could receive that statement of account after settlement to proceed directly with the school to no avail. Then I started receiving calls from Prosperitas saying I am owing more than R5000.00 and I could not understand for what if the account for [protected] was settled in May 2016 and they themselves confirmed in writing that the R3600.00 had been allocated to the outstanding 2016 account. Knowing that I have legal cover I have been paying for years, I still engaged your Victor Ramollo and complained which resulted in him dumping the matter to Bontle.
Bontle took over and never added any value. All she was doing was bringing whatever was coming from the opponent as it is without accessing it against the information at hand. I even wrote an email telling her that I am paying the organisation for a legal cover not messenger services. She was not interested in the information provided by me but went on to forward the email from Finance Monica of the school stating that the account settled was for 2015 which was contrary to the agreement held with Victor Ramollo and the below email dated 19 May 2016. .
While I was in discussion with Bontle on that issue, I suddenly receive a letter via post from Victor Ramollo which according to him served as confirmation that the matter was resolved and the account settled was for 2015. How dare he does that while he was aware that this Debt Collector were changing the story so they could claim more money from me? He is the one who forwarded me this letter after he agreed with the Debt Collector that all the money owed was R3600.00 for 2016 account and I had settled it in full, hence the letter confirming that was received from Charmaine Bezuidenhout. . (See attached letter and email below). My question is : what was he trying to achieve by that or what was he trying to cover with that letter?
Around October Bontle for her own reasons sent me an email saying she has handed my matter to her Boss that would handle it and I requested her to hand over all the documents and brief the boss so I don`t start all over again as the matter needed urgent attention because I was about to be black listed by this Debt Collector while they were dragging their feet. Up to now I have not hear from the boss, not anyone from your organisation. Eventually I got blacklisted and your organisation is responsible.
For your record: I continued paying R840.00 from July 2016 till December 2016. And today the 11th of January 2017 I received an sms that I am owing R5113.09 which I am disputing. Someone should sort out all this mess done by your employees.
I have been paying my premiums and demand a service from you otherwise I want all my premiums back since you have failed to deliver. One thing you must know is that I will let the world know what kind of an organisation you are so that the people know the truth not these marketing lies you go around telling. I have said that before to our employees and they seemed not bothered, let`s see if your Board Members, Directors as well as Ombudsman won`t be bothered too.

Bontle and Victor have all the proof of payments and the emails we have exchanged right from the beginning otherwise I still have them on my side. Today I called in at scorpion as I needed help concerning a gardening company and I never got any help. This gardening company sprayed poison to kill the grass in my yard and seems like they just sprayed water as nothing has happened they gave me a receipt for 18 months guarantee but now when I contact them they just hang upo the phone or make false promises. As a client of scorpion I thought they will help me with this civil case and no service was rendered I was told someone will call me within and hour but to no avail.
