I had break in October 2012 and I reported the matter and send all the required documents, I never hear anything from that lawyer until December 2013. I was told that the person who was handling the matter is no longer working there, and the person who called me told me that he read the contract that I sent and he can sue the landlord for my lost. He never call me again to give me feedback on what's going on, every time I call he said his still waiting for the respond from the landlord side, until 2014 March I was told that the matter was referred to the Specialist and they told me that the caretaker that was on duty when the break in took place is not answering the phone when they call him so they cant do nothing and the case was closed. I feel so bad after being with scorpion for so many years and referring so many people to join, now this is the service I'm getting. Waiting 2 years only to find out that I cant be helped.

On the 21st of January 2016 I reported a civil case against a gardening company to scorpion and I never got any assistance. This company was spraying poison to kill grass in my yard but it never worked and i have paid them money. As a client I was hoping scorpion will assist me in getting a refund but they kept on saying someone will call me in an hour. Is this the kind of service we are paying for? Poor service delivery. I really am pissed of with scorpion and am thinking of changing legal teams. I have been with this company for years and now no legal assistance is being rendered. I also suffered the same, I had joined Scorpion in 2003 and since I have been with them they never actually assist me with all my complaints, In 2012 I also laid a complaint for an injury on duty and always different people calls me and they always give promise to call me later but they closed my complaint 3 times and always they ask me to email documents but no help, difficult to arrange an attorney for me, this year I also laid civil complaint about my property and my wife laid complaint for claim at RAF but hey Is still difficult for them to give us an attorney wish.please anyone knows where to reports this scorpion scam please call me [protected]

My Mother was unfairly dissmissed on July 2017 after she fell on a sep ledder whilst on duty.She worked as a domestic worker around benoni.We reported the matter to scorpion legal protection but no help was given.Its now alomost five months since my om got fired and she is still unemployed.She has been with scorpion almost all my live i grew up knowing we are covered by scorpion but now that she needs help, scorpion does non.ALL that we been told is that we will receive an sms regarding our case.They sometimes put her hopes up by calling her to their offices but when she gets there shes told it has been prosponed maybe this happened about 3 times now. These type of companies offer the service because they think they can get repeat business income on a monthly basis, ie: money for jam. Their hope is that clients do not have any cases, or at most, very few simple cases. The problem is that when clients are paying for a service, they will maximise the use of that service and the legal company becomes inundated with work and thus they prioritise the highest paying cases first. That's why most of the complaints are about bad service where things do not get done, transferred, delayed or ignored, unless a client is ensuring they do their job.

The best is to see a private attorney that can give personal assistant. Your monthly fee should rather be invested in a unit trust that can be used when a real problem case arises. You will actually save money that way. Feel sorry for the poor though, the business world is not geared up for them
