*** and *** both were a huge help
and *** both were a huge help. We had many issues going into the *** process and originally tried to do applications on our own. This quickly became a bad idea so we contacted Senior Planning. They not only helped us get approved but made sure the assisted living was on the same page. I can't thank Senior Planning enough!

I had to move my mom from MT to *** and needed help with the *** approval process. A facility recommended Senior Planning. *** and *** helped me with the financial and care approval process. They have a good process with good communication. I appreciate their hard work.
Senior Planning was a life saver
Senior Planning was a life saver. Dealing with the *** system can be daunting and overwhelming. Senior Planning took care of everything. They told me everything they needed from us and then acted on our behalf and filed all the paperwork with the state. The kept us informed on what to expect as things progressed. They answered our questions very quickly and made sure we were up to date on info. The staff was very friendly and professional. Thank you, *** and ***, for all your help with this process. I would definitely recommend this service for anyone having to go through this process. It does have a cost to it which they tell you upfront. They also give a grantee that if you don't qualify, they will refund your money. It is not a small amount of money, so it gave us a little piece of mind knowing the money was not wasted if she was not approved. The service was worth every ***.
The team was great at getting my 98 year old mother both VA benefits and ALTCCs benefits
The team was great at getting my 98 year old mother both VA benefits and ALTCCs benefits. I would not recommend trying to do this on your own! It took quite a while for me to get them the information they needed due to covid restrictions that did not allow me to call from my mothers phone, but the team was supportive and helpful in guiding me through every step of the process. Totally worth the money! Unfortunately, if your loved one dies before the process is finished you will lose that money, but I understand the time and work they put in to do all the steps involved. My only complaint is with the plan they offer afterward to help you stay in compliance. I do think the ball was dropped on that and we ended up having to do some things at the last minute that I did not totally understand and was uncomfortable with. You might do better at doing this yourself or with the help of a financial planner familiar with ALTCCs requirements. Overall, a good review.

I worked with *** and *** and they were vary helpful in getting my mom into assisted living thru Altec. I reached a few problems but *** really help me a lot and walked me thru the problems she is a 5 star person in my eyes.
Senior Planning was a huge help with getting my *** approved on *** and *** benefits. I don't know how I would have done it without their help. *** and *** always answered my phone calls and knew it was me when they picked up the phone. The financial portion for us was very difficult and time consuming but they made it happen. It is very true that 70% of people do not get approved and using an attorney is far more expensive than what Senior Planning charges so I would highly recommend contacting Senior Planning."
In a moment of sheer desperation, suffering from Alzheimer's in a skilled nursing facility, I literally stumbled onto Senior Planning looking at how to navigate the *** process here in ***. Based on our assets, I paid their fee of $2500 and signed a contract that included a no refund policy ostensibly intended to protect Senior Planning's investment of time and money on behalf of their clients. My partner died four business days later before I could even provide Senior Planning any of the documentation needed to begin the application process. I was assured by one Senior Planning contact that a refund under these circumstances would be forthcoming. That's not the case. They've basically told me I'm out of luck despite the fact that no services were provided and no effort expended on our behalf. Had they actually done something, I could accept this loss. As it is, it's literally adding insult on top of injury. The *** here is take your time and give serious consideration to the no refund policy before engaging with Senior Planning. While legally they have every right to keep my money, I believe it's morally questionable. I can only conclude my experience speaks to their priorities.

Our aged parents needed AHCCCS help in order to move to a nicer place. We started 6 months of medical and financial records gathering in order to get our mother qualified for financial assistance. We submitted everything asked of us only to find out around 7 months later that no, none, zero paperwork was filed so we had to start all over again by ourselves submitting the financial and medical records to AHCCCS. Sad to say our mother passed away several months later never going to her dream community. Not one sorry we messed up what can we do to help has been issued from Senior Planning. We cannot recommend SP for any services what so ever

I called Senior Planning LLC to help with my brother's guardianship
I called Senior Planning LLC to help with my brother's guardianship. They took a lot of money but didn't give the services they promised. They were supposed to credit my bank account but never did.

I sent all the requested documents and nothin. They were supposed to send the documents to ALTCS but I finally had to send the documents myself. They took my money and got nothin in return. They won't even return my phone calls. For $1500 I expect more.
In April , we hired Senior Planning and paid $1500.00 to file paperwork to AZ Long Term Care (ALTCS) on behalf of my mother, Elizabeth
In April , we hired Senior Planning and paid $1500.00 to file paperwork to AZ Long Term Care (ALTCS) on behalf of my mother, Elizabeth. She is in a nursing home and is poor. We can't afford to pay for her care. Senior Planning met with us and said they would file all necessary paperwork to get my mom covered under ALTCS. This afternoon, I called ALTCS to check the status. Teresa ***, financial eligibility worker, denied the application because none of the required paperwork was submitted. Senior planning took our money and didn't deliver as promised.

I reached out to Jacob, the owner of Senior Planning, and they sent someone to assist my parents in obtaining state assistance
I reached out to Jacob, the owner of Senior Planning, and they sent someone to assist my parents in obtaining state assistance. I signed a contract and paid them $2200. The contract stated that if my mother or father were medically denied state assistance, I could receive a refund. According to their firm, the state denied my mother access to assistance due to medical reasons. Sadly, my mother passed away about three weeks later. Since she was denied coverage for medical reasons, I expected to receive a refund. However, I did not apply for my father as I moved him out after my mother's passing. Despite the contract stating that they must refund the money in case of medical denial by the state, Jacob refuses to return my money.
On May 1, I signed up with Senior Planning to help me apply to ALTCS
On May 1, I signed up with Senior Planning to help me apply to ALTCS. I paid $1500 for financial planning and an additional $200 for a special service. I sent in my documents on May 2. They told me it could take up to 120 days to process my application. In August, I sent them documents showing the "home repairs" I had paid for between May and August. I wanted Senior Planning to review them. But guess what? It's now December 16, the day my husband passed away, and I haven't received anything from Senior Planning. I understand they had a lot to go through, but come on! It's been 6-1/2 months! They could have at least given me some guidance. At this point, I've given up on getting my $1500 back. But they should definitely refund the $200 I paid for the special service that I never received.
Our Father and Mother are in their mid 90's and both need to be in care facilities
Our Father and Mother are in their mid 90's and both need to be in care facilities. My family purchased the *** application services described here: Senior Planning is committed to helping our patients who qualify for *** benefits. We will guide you through the application process"... "It is our job to make this difficult, time-consuming process quick and painless for you."
I contacted the program via pbone and email over 10 times asking if they would outline their program, asking who the owner was and could I see a copy of our contract? After weeks, I was contacted by the rudest woman I have ever spoken to, not being forthright and never receiving the contract. I called to complain and eventually was told *** was the owner. I looked into the service ony own since they didn't give me direct info I asked for and learned that SP just submits my parent data we collect to altcs in the exact manner we do. Calling *** I said I had learned that I didn't need the service and would they assist me with a VA application? *** said yes and that he needed immediate signature on new paperwork. I moved all things to get that to him in 1.5 days. He said I would be getting a call from "***" in *** the first thing Monday.
I waited 2 weeks with no call. I contacted *** complaining about this, he apologized and said she would be calling me very shortly. No call. I emailed him stating I wish for a refund since this was November and the contract started in the midsummer. His response was to ask if I want him to contact *** still? I told him I wanted a refund. My parents' move into a care facility was delayed that by months. Then my Mom had a serious fall, giving her a serious brain injury resulting in the fact she needs to be in a locked behavioral unit memory care for the remainder of her life, also a swallowing disorder that will lead to pneumonia and likely be the cause of early death. Senior Planning made the process painful, delayed, and we demand a refund.
