Service Pro techs did a good job replacing my heat pump compressor
Service Pro techs did a good job replacing my heat pump compressor. They were real pros and I'd recommend them to anyone who needs hvac work done. I'll definitely be calling them again if I need anything in the future.
So, these guys from Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc
So, these guys from Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc. came over to our crib to fix up our AC. They swapped out the coil and freon like champs. They were super nice and got the job done quick. Shoutout to *** and *** for holding it down and repping their company proper.
I had Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc
I had Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc. come out in September to fix my air conditioner. They replaced a part and left. Soon after the weather changed and I cut the a/c off. Its now December and we have had usually warm weather. I go to cut my a/c on and its not working. I called them and they tell me its past the 60 days. I told them that I wasn't expecting to run my air at the end of December...so it seems like they did a bad job on purpose knowing that its the end of the season and I would have to call them again next year when the weather changed back...CROOKS!
I had a problem with my home warranty company and they sent Service Pro to fix it
I had a problem with my home warranty company and they sent Service Pro to fix it. They came a week later and said it was a "pre-existing" issue, so the warranty company wouldn't pay. I don't understand when a repair isn't "pre-existing." If my dishwasher breaks, will the repairman say it's pre-existing and not get paid? I signed up for help with unexpected issues, but I've paid monthly and $100 to Service Pro and nothing has been fixed. I've called them three times for a cost estimate, but they haven't called back. It's been three weeks without heat and they won't even call me back. So frustrating!

Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc
Service Pro Heating and Air, Inc. came to fix our A/C unit downstairs. The tech said "System Pressures are very low. I found refrigerant leak in evaporator coil for downstairs system. Need to order and replace coil. Refrigerant cost 5lbs $700". Now *** won't fix it because of damage to the system that the tech reported. It wasn't on the invoice and Cody didn't tell my husband about it. What's going on with these companies?
I asked ServPro to fix my leaky AC unit
I asked ServPro to fix my leaky AC unit. They came and took out some parts that they said needed replacing. They didn't get back to me for a while after saying they'd order the parts. I had to go to their place to get someone to answer my messages. They said it would cost over $1000s to fix my unit, which my home warranty wouldn't cover. Then they said they were waiting for my home warranty company to order the parts, even though an employee said they would. My home warranty company asked them to come out and look at it. I don't think it's fair for ServPro to charge me thousands to fix something that was working before they came and took it apart. That seems like a scam.
Home warranty from May to May
Home warranty from May to May . AHS got Service Pro Heating and Air to replace the AC condenser unit outside in May . I didn't renew my home warranty because AHS had multiple issues. In May , the air went out again. A repairman came out and had to replace the air handler, which cost me $2200. He told me that the air handler should have been replaced with the condenser. However, they installed a txv (retrofitting to force it to work), and the existing air handler was manufactured for r22 refrigerant. Installing a 410a refrigerant 13/14 seer outside unit heat pump against a 10 seer r22 air handler goes against EVERY manufacturer specification. These are not recommendations but specifications. Due to retrofit, my warranty is void. Tic air pressure and cfm of the old air handler, as well as the mismatched seer rating, will cause the pressures of the refund to be manipulated to make this come close to functioning short term. AHS and SPHA are equally responsible.
Service pro came to fix my HVAC when the heat stopped working
Service pro came to fix my HVAC when the heat stopped working. They said they couldn't come for a week, which was a bummer. When they finally came, they didn't know where the key was, so they left without doing anything. We rescheduled for another week later. The tech came and said my thermostat was broken and that it wouldn't be covered by my warranty. But my thermostat has always worked fine! When I tried to call Service Pro to ask about it, they didn't answer the phone. I left 10 messages and no one called me back. I had another company come and they said the problem was with the motor in my gas pack unit, not the thermostat. I think Service Pro made up a fake report so they wouldn't have to cover the repair. That's not cool. They didn't even give me a report on the diagnosis.
My wife and I have been with a service provider for some time and always had good experiences until now.
My wife and I have been with a service provider for some time and always had good experiences with their local vendors until now. I requested Service Pro Heating & Air to repair our downstairs heat pump on October 28, but they never initiated contact to schedule. I reached out the following day to prompt a visit, and they scheduled for November 3. The technician, Phillip, identified a fan in the attic unit for replacement but was unsure of the part's arrival time. Despite my six follow-up calls to Service Pro Heating & Air and two complaints to the service provider, there's been no communication. Today, November 17, I learned the part was just ordered, reflecting poor service, and I'm obligated to wait it out.
