Before I contact BBB and Hawaii’s attorney general (you won’t be able to include Hawaii in your business).
I did everything Service Plus asked me, I paid for a 5 year contract over a thousand dollars and was told I could cancel anytime if a problem arose and I would be refunded my remaining balance. They also told me if an appliance was not reparable I would receive replacement cost.
My washing machine broke, I called technician on my own dime to diagnose the problem, he also called the resolution department. As a replacement cost they offered me $250 for a Samsung front loading washing machine (2017).
I would like to know where you will get a machine for $250 that is comparable? I also told him I would like to cancel, the money that is refunded to me, I can afford to buy a new machine. I’m now informed I cannot cancel. The salesman and the resolution department are lying to me. I’m a Special Education teacher and cannot take this loss. I would like to cancel my policy and receive my money back! I am really upset because I trusted your sales representative. I really hope you do not conduct business this way!
Please respond ASAP. I will contact the appropriate officials if I do not hear back by Tuesday, October 24, 2023. He even closed my claim. Again this saddens me, I just want my money back.
Desired outcome: Cancel my policy and give me my money back.
