I SIGNED UP ORIGINALLY FROM A FLIER THAT WAS DROPPED IN MY MAIL BOX. I WAS THAN WITH BELL EXPRESS VIEW. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THEM SO I WAS READY FOR A CHANGE IN MY SATELLITE SERVICE. I THAN PROCEEDED TO CALL SHAW DIRECT TO ARRANGE FOR THEIR SERVICES, AFTER MY FIRST CALL I MADE 2 MORE EACH TIME MAKING SURE THAT I WOULD ONLY HAVE $49.97 AUTOMATICALLY TAKEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. I NEVER RECIEVED IN THE MAIL OR AN EMAIL ADVISING ME OF ME THE AMOUNT TAKEN FROM BANK ACCOUNT WHICH WAS THE SUM OF $114.00 . I THAN CALLED 3 TIMES ASKING FOR A BILL IN THE MAIL OR AN EMAIL EXPLAINING THE CHARGES, TO NO AVAIL I HAD TO CALL AGAIN DEMANDING ANSWERS AND SOME SERVICE.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

You have no right to call me for any reason I do not owe you anything but you do.
Make sure have it in writing you have nothing in your hand you can not approve anything. Even the President of RIPP OFF company (Shaw direct) wasn’t able to resolve this issue. I promise you will get nothing from me not even one penny.

I too am being harassed for payment for a service I never had with Shaw Direct. Upon moving from my last address I had the service cancelled. But they claim I had it restarted after 6 months, which I never did. They never sent me a bill, and they don't even have my current address. They have lied saying they sent bills by email, but I've never received a bill, I've never had any connection to SAT TV at my current address and I don't even have a SAT dish. It says right on their bills to call them for reconnection. I've never asked for it and never had it. Now all I get from them is the bill collectors calling for payment. I don't know who these people are... I've tried to call Shaw Direct customer service but all I get from them is abuse and accusations that I am lying. This company should be listed as the worst in Canada. Shame on them for being so ridiculous and rude. IF YOU HAVE YOUR SERVICE CANCELLED GET A CONFIRMATION NUMBER AND THE NAME OF THE PERSON YOU SPOKE WITH TO HAVE THE SERVICE CANCELLED OR THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE YOU AND POSSIBLY TRY TO EXTORT PAYMENT FROM YOU AS THEY ARE TRYING TO DO TO ME.
Having problems with receivers (only 4 years old). 4th call over 1 hour wait on each one. Three techies have come out, still not fixed. Wait times for tech support are abominable. These people don't understand business. As soon as Wi Fi TV is really here they get the boot after 12 years
