We purchased gas and a car wash at the Shell Station on Thurs May 10 at ~11pm: 2698 McKee Rd, San Jose CA 95116. When we entered the code for the car wash and drove the car in, the car wash did not start. After driving the car forward and back a few times to see if it would start, nothing happened so we drove through and tried to get help from the front desk. There was one employee working there so we asked him to come help us. He told us to just go back outside and drive through the car wash and use the same code again. No new code was given. We tried this, but this time the machine said that the code is invalid - of course, because it was already used. We tried pressing the assistance button a few times on the machine but there was no response. So we drive through again and this time he came out to see what was going on. We explained that the code didn't work and this time he told us to just come back tomorrow morning at 6am. I asked him, "Why? Is the car wash broken or out of order?" He said, "No, its not broken. Just come tomorrow." I said, "If it's not out of order, then why can't we get the car washed now? We need it now because we have work tomorrow." He said, "I don't know, its not working. Just back up your car." Confused, we asked him what he meant and he said to back up our car BACKWARDS through the car wash. We did as he said and he motioned us to keep going until we were back at the machine. He told us to enter the code and showed him that the machine rejected it because a new code was not given. He said, "That's because you already used the code." I said, "Yes, that's what we told you. We used the code, drove through and the car wash didn't start. That's why we asked you for help." He said to come back inside with him at the register. We gave him the receipt and this time he said that we already used the code and that's why it doesn't work. He printed another receipt and said, "See? Already used." We told him again, we just used the code but the car wash didn't start. He said, "How do I know you didn't already use it?" I told him he could check the camera footage and look at my car. My car is not wet and is still dirty. He then accused me of bringing another car and trying to get it washed. At this point, we could tell he was not doing anything to try and help us so we asked to speak with a manager. He said that the office is closed and we have to come back tomorrow morning to get help. Then I asked for his name and to write it down. He kept asking us why we need his name. We explained we needed it because we need to identify him when we speak to the manager tomorrow. He refused to write his name. Then he took our receipts and walked to another random man nearby and said, "Friend, look they already used it." I don't know if this person is really his friend or another customer, but he looked very uncomfortable. Again we asked him to give us his name and write it down. I gave him the paper and pen and he scribbled something illegible that looked something like KS. I told him, that's not even a name and it's not legible. I showed it to the other customers nearby and they confirmed that they couldn't read it. The employee kept insisting that we leave and that the office is now closed. This is a 24/7 location so we know he is lying. We even asked for a refund and he wouldn't give it to us. After futile attempts, I told him I was just going to take a photo instead and speak to the manager tomorrow. This has been by far the most rude and unacceptable customer service I have ever experienced. Not only were we refused service, we were refused a refund, faswlt accused, lied to and given the worst attitude. We would like at least a refund and a formal apology from this employee for this extremely unsatisfactory experience. I have included a photo of the scribble he wrote as his name on the paper for your reference. I also have his photo and video footage as proof if needed.

There is a man that works at this location that is continually rude and disrespectful every time I'm in. It doesn't matter what I'm getting. It's like he's ok a power trip. Or maybe because we are well to do he is instantly rude because he is jeoulous. I have no idea why his attitude is so unbelievably outrageous. This has been going on since he started at the location over a year ago. If he's not a manager he may be a supervisor that acts as he is one. He is rude to the other employees and condincending to them as well in front of customers which I have witnessed many times. Aside from the numerous run in with him tolerating his continual disrespect I have had enough. Today was the last straw. I'm in my 30's and he has carded me literally hundreds of times as this is the only gas station/convenience store in town. If it wasn't I wouldn't bother to complain and just never return to avoid dealing with him. I understand the law of due diligence to insure no tobacco or alcohol sales to minors. However people in front of me and behind are never carded just me. It's like he singles me out. If he was polite in his reasoning tonight I would completely understand. My complaint is the way he handled it. His mannerism and his disrespect. The other lady clerk was very respectful and I commend her for her excellent conduct every time I'm in. I left my purchase as he wouldn't sell a six pack of beer or tobacco. He was upset I wouldn't still buy the Red Bull I also had. I figured I have to go home and grab my ID he's seen hundreds of times and return anyway might as well leave it refrigerated. My husband said it was in my pants when I called him so he took a photo to message me and I went back in. He said only accepted in person I understood and left. My husband took me back up the 20 min drive in our corvette and he went in to get the purchases I was unable to obtain earlier. After he paid he said and here is my wife's ID so you know she wasn't trying to buy underage. He then became very offensive which is why I'm writhing this complaint. He got very angry with my husband yelling at him. My husband had to walk away. As we were leaving he was waving or flicking us off out the window even in a very rude manor with his hand signals just to be a jerk. This is just unacceptable. I sure hope he isn't management because if he is then he clearly is in the wrong profession if he conducts himself this way in front of those he is suppposed to lead. I hate to have to drive farther every time I need gas or whatever it may be because I can no longer tollerate the mistreatment and disrespect by this employee. I hope that some form of training for customer conduct is performed or disiplary action so that I will feel comfortable returning to this Shell location that's closest to my town. Please check your cameras for this location between 9pm and 10:15 May 8th 2018 to verify this complaint. Please call me at [protected] on how this will be addressed or if I should avoid this location in the future. After his anger both myself and my husband witnessed tonight I don't think I would feel safe as a women returning to this location on my own as long as he is still employed. I fear things wil only escalate further with each incounter I have with this unstable man.

There seems to be an ongoing situation at the following station. 16714 Huffmiester Rd. Cypress Texas 77429. We live in a neighborhood adjoining the Huffmiester location. There are numerous reports of credit card skimmers over the last three or four months. My son's debit card was hit with several fraudulent charges after using this station Shell is losing business because of this, as the social media in the neighborhood is very active with alerts. The charges were reversed by the bank but i keeps seeing new reports related to this station.

This morning I went to strubensvale shell this was the 3rd time I wanted to put petrol in my car at this garage and leaving with out it. And the worst service that one can ask for my first time ther about a month ago i ask the attendant to fill up she the told me their system is down and the owner is [censored]ed up, on my second time ther the pump for 95 wasnt work and i also needed to fill my tank, this morning i stoped there again sat for 10 mins with the attendee struggling to get the pump strated as the lady was on her own mission in side. I'm new to the area and prefer shell in my car. I dont now if this is ill management or what but I have never experience such low level of service. And to say this is one of the biggest names in petrol

GasTV display is stuck on a loop of the intro and plays nothing else. It does this over and over continuously. It becomes very irritating while you are filling your vehicle. Also, this has continued for months now with no one at the station able to turn it off or even turn it down from full volume.
I frequent this station as my normal fill-up spot. However, I'm finding each time I'm there I wonder why did I come here as your video breakdown makes my experience there one I wish to avoid. I'd like to continue with shell, but this inattentiveness is becoming a deal breaker. Please fix this!

5/4/2018 - Location - Shell 10102 Protranco - San Antonio, Tx. 78251

At about 7:50am, I stopped in for some Diesel gas. The pumps outside were not on, so I went inside. First of all, I was not greeted by the clerk, I told him Good Morning, and all I heard a little was a mumble. I stood at the counter waiting for him to take my payment for gas, when he turned and looked at me and pointed and lifted up the sign that said "Counter Closed". So, I looked at him oh ok so I went over to the other counter where he standing in front of . He rudely went on to say that, " if there were some hundred dollars floating around, you would have missed them".
Then rudely, he told me that my card would not have worked outside because the pumps were not on. So for me to pay inside then pump my gas. I tried my best to laugh about the incidents, but he was to busy working on his rudeness and unprofessionalism. When you advise him of this comment, let him know that there are other jobs out there that do not require face to face contact with a customer. I will make it a point to never stop at this location again . I hope he had a good rest of day, since he completely ruined mine first thing in the morning.

I am complaining about Shell Petrol Pump situated at Sadiqabad, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The staff of this Petrol Pump is cheating with the people. One person who is responsible for filling of fuel tank of vehicle stops filling before the required amount of fuel is filled and shows you that required amount has been put in. There is another person available there with him who engages the owner of vehicle in talking and the filler stops filling fuel in the fuel tank. This has happened with me and with my friends more than once. That is why i am complaining.

It was around 2:50 am in the morning of 26/april/2018 I was at the gas station to fuel up and when i went to the window i asked him to put $20 fuel so that i can fill it up and he asked if i have air miles card.
I had it in my phone so he got mad that now i have to put the number and started talking very rudely and when i asked why you being rude then he started yelling and abusing and saying bad words.
It was such a horrible experience with shell that i am never going to use shell again in my life and would discard use of any of its products and services.
Not even me but my friends who were there with me they will also never go to shell ever again and i will ask everyone not to.
I was about to call 911 but did not wanted to make any issue there but It was so humiliating the way he behaved i am going to file a complaint against shell and i will go to a lawyer tomorrow and for such a big organization like you it was really dissapointing the way your representatives behave.
I will reach to your top management because it was such a horrible thing that we can not even expect even a good customer service from you.

On 4/22/18, at 8:20pm, I went to the Shells gas station to pump gas in my car. After I was threw I had to go inside to receive my gas receipt. The clerk threw the receipt towards me and walk away. I took the receipt and left . I was very upset and insulted by this clerk. Shell gas station is a place that I will no longer do business with. People that do not receive proper customer service is buying Shell stations all over Atlanta Georgia. Their people skills is horrible.

I used the air machine on all my truck tires, it put way to much air in my tires I set the digital gauge to 40psi. I'm there next following weeks the belts in my tires started to break one at a time, yesterday I couldn't figure out why, so I got a tire gauge and checked the pressure it was over 80 psi, I can't afford a new set I would greatly appreciate your help .i think the air machine might be defective

I live near the shell gastation in fruitland Idaho, it's my to go place to buy my drinks and to get gas my children (teens) go their to get snacks all the time. I've lived there for 10 years I never had a problem, till tonight, looks like you've hired a new lady (Latina) has yellow/ gold streaks on her black hair, I've previously made friends will all the shell station employees there they are so nice going never had a problem. except this me lady who didn't wear a name tag or had it covered up by her sweat shirt, I went in tonight with my little nephew and baby sister first time seeing her over the counter, she didn't smile when I walked in.. did not say hello, she has a very unwelcoming attitude. I went to use th rest room, while my newphew abs younger sister went to look around to see what to buy, got out of the rest room and went to go pay, once there, she didn't make eye contact, she didn't read me back my total, while I was looking for my debit card in my wallet I hand it to her, she refused to take it (in a very Ruined way ) she pointed at the pay machine, she didn't tell me weather to use chip or slide my debit card not a single word. After I paid she refused to bag up my purchases in a sack bag (we walked to the store ) once I asked her again she then threw my stuff practically, slammed everything into my bag, she mumbled something but I didn't bother to pay any mind or say anything did not want to start a scene. I don't ant this woman working there. It's very obvious she is not right for the job. This is not the way to treat a customer... once I got home my younger sister asked me " what was wrong with the lady " "she seems very mean" I do not want my family coming in the store this This rejection Attitude. We go to shell 3 times a week ... please be aware of your employees, this did no way to treat someone.

I went in the gas station on highway I-85 in Mebane and paid for gas I get to the pump the cashier was rude and had an attitude telling me that my car wasn't on pump 8 because she didn't see my car. She stands there looking at me and I told her to put the gas on pump 8 bc that's where I parked my car. I get back to the pump and it says " one moment please " I wait and the money isn't loaded to the pump. I press the call button and the other cashier answers and when I tell her my issue she says that I sent the money back to my card so oh well and goes back to talking to the other cashier. I walk in the store and asked her why didn't she put the money on the pump she says it went back to my card. She rolls her eyes and said it's your fault and nothing for me to do. I told her she needs to learn how to talk to people and she proceeds to tell me " I'm dumb as [censor] and I need to figure it the [censor] out" I then proceed to inform her that she needs to learn to speak to customers because she is rude as hell and will cause this gas station to loose customers . She won't give me her name or the receipt showing the $35 was refunded so I left and kept my original purchase receipt. As I'm walking out I'm talking on the phone she yells " I'm sorry what did you say say it to my face" o walk back in and say " excuse me" she says I heard what you said. I inform her I'm on the phone and that she is rude and that's why she's working at a gas station because her attitude sucks. As I'm walking out another lady at the pump says aren't the ladies at the register rude? I will never come back here and I agreed with her.

4/15/18 I went to the gas station on the corner of ridge Rd and snow rd in Cleveland Ohio and paid inside with my card. Went outside to pump gas and I guess while moving the the hose it hit the keypad and cancelled my transaction. I went inside and the store clerk was very rude and didn't want to help me. I spent $40.00 and didn't get any gas in my vehicle. Today 4/16/18 I checked my account and I still didn't get my refund. My email is [protected]@gmail.com

My friends gifted me a Shell gas gift card for $25 when I moved. I hit the road, and when I pull up to the pump for gas I find out the card is defective! It was activated, but the phone recording says it needs to be activated, or that it has been frozen. Well, which is it? Shell Corporate refused to send me the funds if I turned in the card, or to send me a new card. What kind of service is that? I am out the $25 that my friends gifted me. Shell basically stole my money.

I was buying a Sweet tea and gas. The 1st attendant Mitszi was my tea was 2.50. I told her no I had gotten the 1.79 one. I took her back to show her. After seeing that I was correct she told her "supervisor" Gwyndelin. Gwyndelin then went to the display case snatched the 1.79 price off and then told her coworker to charge me 1.99. I argued that wasn't the price and she was wrong to charge me more than what was posted. I was very unhappy and I told her I was going to complain. I've been a customer here for 11 years. It's only 20 cents but still it's a shame you hired someone that steals on Shell's behalf... And with a nasty attitude.

Today, 04/08/2018, I went to go put air into my car tires in store 3385 S. Tower Rd. Aurora, CO 80013, and I put 4 quarters in the machine and it turned out to be broken and I wasn't aware since there wasn't an "out of order" sign. So I went in to go get my $1 from the cashier, but was rudely commanded to come tomorrow to get back my change. Then a customer came in and she handled the customer, I would've left but wasn't able to due to the flat tire so I was just standing by the counter patiently to get my money back and she yelled at me to leave the store, and I refused because I did nothing wrong, so she called the cops on me, and asked me for my ethnicity. I have never had this horrible of an experience anywhere. I am hurt and feel discriminated due to my skin color. I hope that this company will take an action on this matter so that it wouldn't have the same effect on future customers as it did to me.

I was pumping fuel at she'll on 3505 Broadway Ave. Eureka California 95503 at 11:50 am 04/07/18 tran# 9124072 and the employee (man with a red beard and hat) accused me of asking customers for gas because I had pumped some in the car next to me which was a friend and his wife and then came out a second time telling me to leave. I believe the man was very rude even knowing that I'm a veteran by my plates he was looking at

I went to get gas at a shell station on my way to work, I put in my debit card, my pin and selected my fuel grade and tried to pump gas, but no gas was coming out. I called an attendant, no one came then my sale was cancelled, so I figured the pump was broken so I moved to another pump, tried to pump gas, then it said my card waa declined, I checked my bank account and saw they took out 81.00 for a holding fee when I never even got any gas. I went in and asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one there. I told them what happened and they told me they haven't had any problems so they weren't sure what happened. I'm furious. No gas and an $81 charge to my account?!?!?! I will NEVER use shell again.

on 3/2/18, we purchased $20.00 worth of gas @ Vineland Shell, 8788 Vineland Road in Orlando, FL. (Auth #213027 Inv #007351) Upon leaving the station, we noticed a sign advertising $5.99 & assumed it was a sign advertising some type of sandwich at the location that also sold food & never thought it would have been the price of a gallon of gas. Having stayed in FL for 5 weeks, we spent an average of between $2.60 - $2.75 a gallon at many different locations & we were shocked to realize that this particular station would charge $5.99 a gallon & found it quite disgraceful.
I would expect that this location's license to sell your product should be in question.
