Ship a Car Direct The best car shipping company, period!

The best car shipping company, period! Mat is a super CSR who delivers what he promises and keeps his word, evidently, they are a very respected company in the shipping world because in less then 2 hours after I booked them for a very unusual route from *** to ***, *** called me to say they had a driver and enclosed carrier on their way! Their pick up time as promised, along with the delivery time was exceptional and to the hour, and if that isn't enough, how about a price less then several other shipping quotes, and that included a enclosed trailer service! *** thank you for delivering my *** Model A to *** as promised, trust in securing *** and this companies services, you won't be disappointed! There is a good reason why so many folks are leaving them a 5 star rating, THEY EARN IT AND DESERVE IT!

I bought a brand new car out of state. I found Ship-a-car-direct checking the website and realized that they have a lot of experience and good comments on the quality of service. I sent a request for a quote and have an immediate response. I put the order and it was processed and assigned in 48 hours. I got an enclosed carrier at a reasonable price and everything was very smooth. They picked up and delivered my car in perfect conditions as promised.I strongly recommend *** and his team to have an enjoyable experience.

I found Ship a Car Direct on the web. From the inquiry I got a call from *** After that,I clearly received the best customer service I have (maybe) ever received. Great communication all the way through.Currently shipping cars is challenging. *** comminution and diligence in getting a quality carrier was unprecedented. Once the car was picked up, the communication from the entire support team was timely and consistent. This is a service that I can't say enough about. A true standard for communication and going the extra mile. Not something I expected. All of their representations and promises were spot on! I would not hesitate to recommend this group, especially *** to anyone needing to ship a car."

I talked to a lot of Advisors looking to ship my sons cars from OC to ***. I needed it done Quickly. They were honest and used insuranced drivers. No games, just a real person to talk to. I had conscious contact with the driver.

"When I think of Ship a Car Direct, I remember the excellent company communications and fast delivery. I can't compliment ***, my representative, enough who sent numerous emails with important educational information relative to shipping my car safely and securely. *** was always available if I had any questions, so I felt confident that the company was solid and genuinely concerned about the shipping of my car. He even contacted me for a follow-up report about my experience. What more could you ask for? Ship a Car has a convenient and simple application where you can upload photos of your car directly to them so they have a record of your car's condition. My car was picked up a day early and delivered on the day promised coast to coast. You will definitely appreciate Ship a car Direct's excellent customer service. I recommend them and will use them again."

We shipped our car from *** to . Ship a Car Direct dispatched our car to a trucking company such that the car was picked up before our flight home as we wished and delivered without damage. They kept us informed on the dispatch status. They use trucking companies with insurance that they have vetted. They also have a app that we used to take before photos of the car. They did follow up to check if all went well.

I have tried to ship cars before through a broker and it never worked, this time it was PERFECT. *** at Ship A Car Direct stayed in constant communication with me and he found the best hauler I could imagine. We shipped two cars inside and ***, ***, was wonderful to work with. Prompt, nice and a great guy!Can not say enough good things about my time working with everyone involved!

Ship a Car Direct I did a fair amount of research before selecting Ship A Car Direct

I did a fair amount of research before selecting Ship A Car Direct. The number of choices available is staggering. Great communication with both the broker (Ship A Car Direct) and the carrier they contracted. They did not bombard me with texts and phone calls like some other brokers and carriers did, but they did provide helpful emails with links to videos about the process. Somewhat useful app for documenting photos of the vehicle at pickup and delivery (tracking functionality would be a nice feature). Carrier was able to pick up one day early and delivered one day ahead of schedule, dusty from the road trip (as one would expect) but undamaged. Courteous driver. Price quoted was the price charged, and it was one of the lowest of about 10 quotes received. Based on my experience, this company is worthy of its many positive reviews. I would hire them again when and if needed.

At first I was concerned about giving my car to a stranger, but this was honestly the smoothest quickest process! *** was very communicative and assured me that my car would be in good hands. And the delivery driver was AWESOME! He went above an beyond, and even got my car delivered sooner than expected ? I definitely recommend *** ?

Ship a Car Direct is top notch! *** communicates with you every step of the way and answers any questions you have quickly and efficiently. The website also has a fantastic Q&A that provided everything you need to know up front before booking. Once the company is assigned you will get estimate days for the pick up and delivery. The delivery driver will reach out directly to make arrangements and schedule the day and time slot for the pick up of the vehicle. My daughters car was being picked up at an apartment building in CA and being delivered to WI. The driver parked down the road and actually walked to the vehicle to drive it to his rig, she didn't have to meet him anywhere. When he actually delivered he parked down the road and drove it right to the house. When they mean door to door service that is exactly what you get. I highly recommend using Ship a car direct for your vehicle transportation needs.

I was literally tensed when another one ditched me for shipment while my fly date was fast approaching. Thats when my friend referred me to shipadirect who used the service earlier.My shipment was handled by ***. She is very much customer eccentric, understood my requirement and within couple of days, a carrier was assigned.. When I was concerned I would already by flying before that assigned pickup date, she promised she would try her best to findout a carrier before pick up. Though I trusted her, I didnt really have any expectations and preparing to take my long distant friends help. To my thrilling surprise, in next few hours, got a call from her that my vehicle would be picked *** in an hour. My vehicle was picked up as said and got delivered one day before promised delivery date in same condition.I was so happy and thankful for *** and shipacardirect and highly recommend for reliable service.

I was so nervous about letting a complete stranger ship my brand new car to me. My husband and I were going to fly from *** to NC to pick it up and drive it home but after we figured out all we would spend, it was crazy to do that. I spoke with *** and he made me feel like I had nothing to worry about and he would make sure my car was well taken care of. We set up a pick up and they were right on time picking it up from the dealership. The very next day before noon, my new car with only 8 miles on it came right to my front door. It was in a closed in trailer and was in perfect condition. The gentleman who brought it was a very nice young man. I thanked him for all he had done for us and for all the money he saved us and even for saving all those miles on my new car. We were so very happy with the service Shop a Car Direct gave us. The website is so informative and they always answer the phone when you call. We would highly recommend them to any one who needs this service. Very reliable and professional!

I shipped a car from PA to TX and it arrived exactly on time, in perfect condition. Excellent customer service from Ship a Car. I was impressed by the company's extremely responsive communication in answering questions. Thanks to Matt, my primary contact at Ship a Car, for all of his help from start to finish. The company's Support Department also kept me informed as to progress once my car was in the process of being shipped to me. The carrier selected, BONO Transportation, did a good job in delivering my car on the timeframe I needed. The driver was very courteous and, through conversation, I could tell he was careful about the cars he was transporting. I liked Ship a Car's thorough explanations and their extra insurance provided, if needed. I didn't have any problems, but I liked the peace of mind. I was very happy to have such good service. I would definitely use them again in shipping my car.

SHIP A CAR DIRECT was FANTASTIC! They picked up my 3 cars on scheduled date from my home and were very communicative. They were delivered on time. The driver actually said he was in town a day early but since we were not there yet he delivered the 3 cars the very next AM after we arrived. I would use SHIP A CAR DIRECT again in a heartbeat. *** was great and followed upwith pick up and delivery information. It could not have gone any smoother. And we shipped from *** to CA!.Excellent Experience, highly recommend them for transporting vehicles.

I had to ship my brand new car from *** to ***. I got quotes from many brokers and after doing my own research decided to book with Ship A Car Direct and I never regretted that decision. *** was very helpful in every step of the process starting from requesting a quote, explaining the process, dispatching my order, how to file claim in case of any damage during transit and any other questions. I had to change my pickup date on the same day as first pickup date but it was very easy and I was not charged anything extra. I was charged the exact same amount as was quoted with no payment upfront. I would use their service again in future if needed.

I originally started with another shipping company but was unable to speak with someone directly and their website wasn't very helpful. Ship A Car Direct's website and customer service was exceptional. As soon as I submitted my information, Gabe, immediately called me to answer any questions - from start to finish. The website clearly and honestly communicates information and their process. The videos and constant email as well as text communication gave me comfort in addition to the hands on service I received from Gabe who was super responsive, friendly and helpful in troubleshooting any issues with the carrier. My car arrived 4 days early with the items safely in my car and in perfect shape. AND, most importantly, they gave me the best quote / price - nearly 200-400 less than the other company I originally began. Thank you Ship a Car Direct. I'll be using you again when I return to the East Coast!

I generally don't like to write a lot of reviews, but these days when something actually goes well for me I'm usually pretty grateful for it! I've used Ship A Car Direct four times now, each time has been a smooth and problem-free process. I was warned in advance the prices were a little higher this time around because of the covid-19 pandemic, there's been a lot of demand for movers and car shipping, especially coming from West Los Angeles. My contact person was David *** (all four times), and I did everything over email with him. Since it was my fourth time with them I didn't have many questions for them, I was familiar with the process, it's always been a clean and straightforward thing with not a lot of back and forth communication needed. I'm not planning on shipping my car again anytime soon but if I needed to, I'd most likely go straight back to Ship A Car again, if it worked for me the past four times I don't see any need to start shopping around for a different deal.

Ship a Car Direct We chose Ship a Car Direct based on their positive reviews

We chose Ship a Car Direct based on their positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was negative. We signed the contract several weeks in advance, with the stipulation that the car would not be picked up earlier than July 24. We got a call at night on July 22 from TransAuto, the carrier that Ship a Car Direct selected, demanding to pick up the car at 8 am the following morning (a day earlier than specified in the contract). We were told that the inconvenience would be worth it because this early pickup would ensure that the car would be delivered on time on July 30.The car was picked up, and then it was held for ***, *** instead of being loaded onto a carrier. I booked a hotel room at the destination to wait for the car for 5 days (the earliest possible date under the contract plus 4 days just in case). I was repeatedly told that the car was "en route" and would be delivered according to the contract. It was not.I finally flew back home, paid $60 for an Uber ride to the TransAuto storage yard, and picked up my car.

Ship a Car Direct Broker was awesome at communicating the entire process from quote to delivery

Broker was awesome at communicating the entire process from quote to delivery. They gave me realistic and frank expectations up front, and made it clear they are posting your job to a board used by other brokers as well, and that until a carrier agrees to take your car, you don't know which carrier will be transporting your car. But that sort of honest explanation took the questions and worry out, and they were up front about pricing (and that it could change until a carrier agrees to the contract). I was prepared for the worst (e.g. theft, damage, and my car being handed off from carrier to carrier), but was pleasantly surprised that the same truck/trailer that picked up my car was the same truck and drivers that delivered it in perfect condition some 2400 miles away in just over TWO DAYS. Amazing! Ship-A-Car Direct helped me reach the driver on the day of pick-up, and arrange a 30 minute pick-up window. Lastly, this broker has a great phone app for customers to easily photograph the condition of their car at time of pick-up, and then again at delivery to aid in making any damage claims (which thankfully I did not need). Would definitely use them again.

This place is a joke. The guy, Jeff, or whatever his name is who answers the phone - has zero phone etiquette or customer service skills. I had been waiting WEEKS for a response to 2 simple questions, and all I was receiving in return (after multiple reminder emails... "can you please respond", etc.) would be YET ANOTHER quote - without the answers to my questions. In fact, one of my voicemails from the woman I was dealing with was "I haven't read your email yet." Then why are you calling me back with NO information, again? I called to see if I could get another agent on the phone JUST to answer those questions, since it had been weeks with zero information. Instead of saying "I'm so sorry you haven't received an answer, I'd love to help", he said "It sounds like we're not the right fit for you." I'm sorry, WHAT? I didn't even mention the woman's name in order to spare her getting in trouble - but clearly they care more about themselves than their customers. I could've booked with them literally WEEKS ago if someone just answered 2 questions - which were so simple. Literally one of the questions was "is the fee included in the quote." Instead, I receive another quote as a response. What?! I just booked with a 5-star company across the board, within 10 minutes. HOW HARD WAS THAT. They can get my money. This "company" will definitely NOT.

There was poor communication by Ship Direct with moving our vehicle from WA to NC. Yes our vehicle made it with no damages - thank god. But this was super painful and stressful and Ship Direct did not do anything to help make our move "easier". We picked this company due to its accreditation and the fact that we could pay by credit card, this was a corporate paid for move. 1) They changed our pick up carrier and dates multiple times within the week we needed to have our vehicle moved as we were flying out of the city, so we were stressed to the last minute. Ship Direct did not help "alleviate" any moving stress, did not communicate well with our carrier and we had to manage the whole conversation with the carrier -- you know why? because Ship Direct only communicating to the truck driver by EMAIL, A PERSON WHO DRIVES FOR A LIVING IS BEING CONTACTED BY EMAIL AND NOT BY PHONE. 2) Ship Direct reached out while our truck was in transport and asked us "how it was going," and were unable to provide us with an update on where our vehicle was. (probably because they were emailing the truck driver). 3) Our truck driver didn't get paid on delivery and we are working on ensuring he gets paid, he mentioned he only takes cash on delivery or he wouldn't have taken our shipment. Guess Ship Direct did not inform him of our situation (we paid by credit card) --deceiving the carrier.

We got a quote for order number ***. The guy we talked to asked for our credit card number for the quote, but didn't say anything about a deposit or charging my card. He couldn't give us a definite date for pickup and we needed it done quick. We decided to go with another company. When we told him we weren't going with him he got mad and charged my card $500 even though he knew we weren't using him. We tried calling them a bunch of times, but they keep saying a boss will call us. No one has called us. They charged my card without permission.

Ship a Car Direct I went to Ship A Car Direct's website on March 25th 2022 to ask how much it would cost to ship a car I wanted from *** to ***

I went to Ship A Car Direct's website on March 25th 2022 to ask how much it would cost to ship a car I wanted from *** to ***, . I bought the car from *** on April 4th 2022. The dealership sent pictures of the car using the company's app and there was no damage. Ship A Car Direct got Good2go LLC to ship my car on April 6th 2022. Good2go LLC picked up my car from the dealership on April 7th 2022. They delivered it to me late at night on April 9th 2022. They didn't give me any paperwork, they just wanted their money. When I parked the car in my well-lit garage, I saw that the rear bumper was damaged. I used Ship A Car Direct's app to upload pictures of the damage on April 9th 2022. Ship A Car Direct asked me for two repair shop estimates on April 14th 2022. On April 25th 2022, the owner of Good2go LLC left me a 92-second voicemail. He said his driver damaged the car but didn't agree with the cost of fixing it. He offered me $500 for the trouble. On April 28th 2022, Ship A Car Direct called me from ***. They told me to contact the carrier's insurance company to file a claim. I called *** and they said the carrier canceled their policy on March 21st 2022. I attached two car repair estimates, the insurance policy that was on file for this shipper, an FAQ from Ship A Car Direct that says they check if the shipper's insurance is valid (it wasn't), and a clear statement on the company's homepage that says they'll help pay for damages to the vehicle.

I got a quote from Ship A Car Direct on May 14 for $620 (with survey completion) - Quote # ***. I gave my exact dates on July 1. They said we had plenty of time, but on July 6, they placed the order to ship my car from Darien, GA 31305 to San Antonio, TX 78245. They said it's slow because of COVID 19 and no carriers were going to the 31305 zip code or to the GA/FLA coast. I agreed to drive my car to Savannah, GA or Jacksonville, FL to have it transported but that didn't work. I told them they can pick up my vehicle anytime, but no carriers have come from July 6 until now. I paid online but my credit card hasn't been charged yet. It's been six weeks and my vehicle hasn't been picked up. I called other carriers and they saw my vehicle in the system. They said there are carriers out there working who can pick up my vehicle and it's not slow because of COVID 19. They said my vehicle hasn't been picked up because no carrier is going to pick it up for $620. Ship a Care Direct said $250 was added, but in the system, it's listed as $620 and that's the real reason my car hasn't been picked up. So, why hasn't my car been picked up in six weeks? No carriers because of COVID 19 or because of the cost listed in the system? I've been patient, but time is running out. I start my new job on Monday, August 24, and I need my vehicle to travel to my job. I left Georgia on August 8 and I'm now in Texas. Someone is in Georgia and ready to give you the keys to ship my vehicle. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks!

I ordered shipacardirect to ship my 4 cars from Orlando, FL to San Diego, CA on 09/20. They told me that Kansas Frieght Inc. *** would be the carrier. They said they only work with trusted carriers, but it seems that's not true. The carrier damaged my dodge challenger and tried to trick me into paying. They succeeded in tricking me by hiding the damages and delivering at night. The driver showed me damage to the front bumper lip, but didn't mention that they had replaced it with a less damaged lip. When I got home, I found that they had damaged both front fenders and the passenger side inner fender guard was missing. I had to take the car to the body shop, and the estimated cost for damages was $1713.36. I told shipacardirect right away and sent them photos and the estimate on Oct 6th, but I still haven't heard back. They only emailed me that they are following up with the carrier. The carrier doesn't seem to be trustworthy if shipacardirect can't even get in touch with them. It seems like they just say they work with trusted carriers to get customers' money. I asked for a full refund of $850, which won't cover all the damages, but it's the best I can do at this point.

I'm giving this broker 1 star ONLY because *** from Ship a Car Direct has been kind in all of his interactions. Otherwise, my entire experience has been negative and a complete hassle. I was told by *** at Ship a Car direct that my car would be picked up on 06/02. Then about 30 minutes later, the trucking company, Unity Towing and Trucking, called me and said they can't make it and need to come the following day. They explained they would have to use a third party to take my car to the truck lot on a flatbed if I wanted to have it done on 06/03. I agreed to that and my car was picked up via flatbed on June 3rd and expected delivery was either the 9th or 10th. I was given an estimate of 4-7 days for transport from Maryland to Colorado. Since then it has been a nightmare. I've called multiple times almost every day. I've emailed both Ship a Car and Unity. Most times, my calls were unanswered by Unity, (until I had my boyfriend call from his phone right after they ignored my call and they answered for him). Other times, I was told that the car would be there on the 9th, that didn't happen. Then no communication whatsoever. Finally a call on Wednesday the 10th at 6:45AM saying my car is in transit and would be there that afternoon. 9PM comes and FINALLY after calling all day someone at Unity answers and says it'll definitely be there by the morning of the 11th. That didn't happen. On Friday the 12th, I had to go through hell to get a hold of the actual driver and he tells me his brakes went out and thats the hold up. I asked him when his brakes went out and he said last night (night of thursday the 11th ). How? When I was told my car was in transit and would be there Wednesday afternoon? They said my car is in Kansas. where I live in Denver, CO is but a hop and skip away from Kansas. It does NOT take this long to get here even with a brake repair and being stopped. The woman at Unity said, "We don't usually tell customers this but he got stopped at DOT and the police stopped him a few times, so you can hear the frustration in his voice. We're so sorry, we really are working on communication. No one else seems to know whats going on". WHY does no one at Unity or Ship a Car know what's going on with my CAR? So, Friday comes and goes and I'm left with another estimate from *** saying my car would be delivered on Saturday morning. Here we are Saturday afternoon with no reply to my email to John, no phone calls, no updates, and no car. At this point, I'm forced to believe my car has been stolen or damaged. I will be filing a police report and contacting my attorney as well as my car insurance. This is complete foolery and I expect more from a company with such a well known name.

Ship a Car Direct July 4 we bought a 2017 Lexus IS 300 for our daughter who is in the Air Force

July 4 we bought a 2017 Lexus IS 300 for our daughter who is in the Air Force. We needed to find a shipper to transport the vehicle from New York to Daytona Beach. My sister recommended Ship-a-Car because they have good service. I talked to *** of Ship-a-Car and he arranged for Zen Auto Transport, LLC, ***, *** to pick up the car on July 9. I paid $250 deposit to Ship-a-Car and my daughter paid $1,200.00 for the final destination. Initially, it was $1,100.00, but *** called back and said the driver wanted $1,200.00 and we agreed. Ship-a-Car required us to take 5 pictures of the car before it left Daytona Beach, FL. The driver, *** of Zen Auto Transport was impressed with the car and said it looked brand new. He pushed the delivery date to Thursday, July 16, which was the day I was leaving Utah. He knew what time I was leaving and my daughter had to work. He said he would be there between 5:00 and 5:30 and he pushed it to around 6:30 p.m. because he knew she had no time to take a look on the inside. When she got off from work the next day (4:30 a.m.) she called me crying because when she opened her vehicle it had "bird poop" all over her seats (front and back), inside the console between the front seats and on the floor and she said it smelled like "fireball" liquor (reeked of alcohol). This vehicle has "red leather" seats with little tiny holes in the seats and the bird poop got all in the tiny holes. I do believe he drove the vehicle because the mileage on vehicle was 92 miles over than when it left our house in Florida and I do believe when he drove it, or who he let drive it left the sunroof open and that's how the bird poop was all over the seat. He told me he was going to stop at his home in ***. The law requires you give a person time to sign off, but Mr. knew she had to be at work at a certain time and I do believe he pushed it right to the limit where she was pressed so she had no time to take a thorough look at her car. Legally, *** had no business inside vehicle except to drive it on the truck and drive off at its destination. He totally took advantage of us and I am highly disappointed in the service me and my daughter was given. I went to Utah to be there when the vehicle was going to be delivered for that main reason to make sure car was in same condition as it left Daytona and I feel he knew that and slow-walked me because he knew my daughter is young and she was pushed for time. Had I been there he would've had to explain damages to vehicle before he got $1200.00 for what? My daughter had to take the Lexus to a high-end detail shop and had to pay an additional $225.00 to clean up mess *** caused. So now shipping costs really was $1,675.00. Detailers could not get all the "bird poop" out of the tiny holes. Yes, I am very disappointed and would like reimbursement from the financial burden we had pay out. I should've listened to her dad and let him drive her car to Utah. This is my first time using a transport company and probably will be my last and I will not recommend this to my family nor friends and my sister apologized and was very disappointed to hear driver took advantage and got paid for the damages he did to my daughters IS 300 Lexus.
