Convenient and Reliable Transportation Service
I recently used the subway service provided by MTA, and I must say it was a seamless experience. The trains were clean, on time, and the staff was helpful. Navigating through the stations was easy, and the announcements were clear. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my journey. I highly recommend MTA's subway service to anyone looking for a convenient and reliable mode of transportation in New York City.

Bus driver with bus license plate AW7017
I'm complaining about the driver for the bus license plate AW7017, bus that departed Jarvis Ave stop around 9:05am. The bus was about 15 minutes late so the driver was driving very fast. When it came to the stop at 42nd st., he opened the doors at the corner of the 43rd-44th street block because he got the red light, this is in front of the construction...

Bus driver on express bxm11 3385. I paid my fare and went to sit in the first seat the bus driver yelled at me no no no you can’t sit there. There was nothing or no one in this seat. I pay $14 a day to be comfortable and ride the express with out having the driver yell at me that I basically can not sit in the sit near to her. Am I contagious? She is also enclosed off from the passengers so I am confused as to why I was refused a seat.
Desired outcome: The bus driver can not just close seats off to paying guest for no reason. All seats should be available only to be given up to a disabled person.

Bus b8
Today, 02/06/24, I was ignored by the individual who drove the Bus B8 (417) around 10-35 AM.
I would like to remind those individuals who drive the buses that the bus is not your own property and you provide a service to the residents of New York.
Personally, I pay $137 monthly and insist that the service is of high quality. This attitude of those individuals who drive buses is disgusting! Service is below par! That's why, this is one of the reasons, people don't want to pay for a service that is at the lowest level. Bus B8 number 417 - you are disgusting!

Is MTA Legit?
MTA earns a trustworthiness rating of 91%
Highly recommended, but caution will not hurt.
MTA has received positive review on our site. This is a good sign and indicates a safe and reliable experience for customers who choose to work with the company.
A long registered date for mta.info can be seen as a positive aspect for MTA as it indicates a commitment to maintaining the website and its domain name for a long period of time. It also suggests that the company is organized and has taken steps to secure its online presence.
The age of MTA's domain suggests that they have had sufficient time to establish a reputation as a reliable source of information and services. This can provide reassurance to potential customers seeking quality products or services.
Mta.info has a valid SSL certificate, which indicates that the website is secure and trustworthy. Look for the padlock icon in the browser and the "https" prefix in the URL to confirm that the website is using SSL.
Mta.info has been deemed safe to visit, as it is protected by a cloud-based cybersecurity solution that uses the Domain Name System (DNS) to help protect networks from online threats.
Several positive reviews for MTA have been found on various review sites. While this may be a good sign, it is important to approach these reviews with caution and consider the possibility of fake or biased reviews.
We looked up MTA and found that the website is receiving a high amount of traffic. This could be a sign of a popular and trustworthy website, but it is still important to exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of the site before sharing any personal or financial information
However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While MTA has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. As a result, only 11% of 213 complaints are resolved. The support team may have poor customer service skills, lack of training, or not be well-equipped to handle customer complaints.
- MTA protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
MTA Bus Company - B64 801019
The B64 goes to the 74th Street Fort Hamilton Pky stop (Stopcode 801019) on weekdays at 3PM. However, there is only one bus every day and lots of kids take the B64. This results in crowding through both doors, lack of seating, and a dangerous amount of kids standing, packed like sardines into the bus. When I can’t get a seat, the tightly packed bus makes it hard to breathe, and it causes poor ventilation in the winter. I hope the MTA looks into this issue, as it has gotten to the point where administrators of McKinley JHS 259 have to control the lines and crowds.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate it if 2 B64s were sent, especially on storm days.
Every day, at 3PM, the Fort Hamilton Pkwy 75/74st stops on the B4, B16 and B64 are flocked with students. There is usually one bus per route at 3PM and clearly, it’s not enough for the students. The buses are overpacked and suffocating, and they are often slow and unreliable. B4 and B64 buses often get delayed or come too early, and sometimes they won’t stop at all.
Express buses speed
Why the express buses go beyond the 25-mph limit in Manhattan? There like they are getting pay to go speed. They have not regard of anyone outside the buses or inside. In the highways they fly like if they were on a racetrack, zig zagging from right to left and left to right. They are going to cost a catastrophe.
I will make sure the news do an "expose" about the MTA's disregard for safety.
Desired outcome: Slow down, what is the rush. You are going to kill people

Buses and subways
I want to complain about the NYC Buses and Subways. I hate dealing with the latest constructions on the subways. They used to do these constructions during the nights and weekends, but now they are doing them on the weekdays too. Because of these constructions I have a lot of trouble going to where I need to go. They start doing them at 9:45 am and they...

Queens Bound X68 buses show up random times at the bus stops in the city. I get on at 49th St. & Madison Avenue. I got to the stop at 4:40pm the bus either didn't show up or left earlier. I stood there until 5:11pm before another bus showed up. The timing of these buses are never the same and are not conducive to most working people's schedules. Usually hours are 9-5 so a bus coming at 4:40 means you have to leave work earlier to walk to the stop and get there, the bus should have been there for 4:50 but was not. This is very frustrating. Why do they have to keep schedules Manhattan bound but not Queens bound? It makes no sense. Standing there for 30 minutes in the rain is not the best way to end my day. This happens often.
MTA Express Bus Driver on the 7:15 Pm BxM6 Bus #1408 from 24th Street and Madison Avenue
I am filing a complaint against the express bus driver on the BxM6 Bus #1408 to Parkchester that left 24th Street and Madison Avenue at 7:15 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2023. He was driving in a reckless manner. He was speeding and braking throughout the entire trip. As we were exiting the bus, I heard a number of passengers expressing among themselves how they were frightened and prayed that we would reach our destination safely.
Desired outcome: I feel this driver needs additional training on how to drive at a safe speed and not risk the lives of his passenger. If his driving does not improve, he needs to be terminated.
Bx34 bus schedule
I take the bx34 every day to work and the schedule departure monday thru friday at 7:27am but this bus driver is never there even at 7:25am. He leaves at whatever time he wants and leaves people behind that are expected to ride at that time. The next bus leaves at 7:42am which is 14 minutes after. How can a driver make their own schedUle and in the same way inconvenience so many people that are trying to get to work on time. I have to ride ubers every time to make it on time. This should be investigated because complaints have been done to the next driver and he says people have to call. How many times ? This is horrible. Today is a rainy day and i am getting to work late. I hate how the MTA treats customers.
Desired outcome: They need to review this line or investigate this driver to make sure he follows his schedule.
X63, X64, X68
Most of these bus drivers are so inconsiderate of people’s time. You wait 10-15mins for a bus that will just pass you by like you aren’t standing there waving on the curb. For $14 a day the damn bus should STOP AT EVERY STOP in Queens EVERYDAY as they are paid to do! Too many times to count I’ve had to take the train and arrive late to work. Nothing like starting your days frustrated and angry.
Desired outcome: Monitor drivers along their route.
bxm11
for the last 2 days(9-19-20) the 628am bus has not arrived . the app lies and says bus arrived when it has not.
the service on this line is horrible as are the bus drivers for the most part.
it is apparent that the mta cares very little for minority communities as this level of service would never be tolerated in white communities/
As someone who has ridded this line since it was under the Liberty Lines banner i can tell you these bus's are not maintained as evidence of seats being broken and spotty ac in the summer.
If you cant provide a decent level of service and hire drivers who actually understand how to drive a public vehicle then sell the line or shut it down.
Desired outcome: better service and build out a mechanism for public announcements for this line.Clean and maintain your buses.
B65 Bus
Yesterday my ride to Camden Plaza in downtown Brooklyn from the corner of Bergen Street & Troy Ave took over an hour & 45 minutes which was crazy. There was a large number of people standing there waiting & the bus filled up to overflowing in no time. People were sneaking in through the backdoor. There were Old People with shopping carts & walkers who all piled up in the front of the bus. And because it was so hot yesterday people were already irritable & piss off there were almost a couple of fights but, others prevented things from going there. Six B15 Buses will come back to back & only ( 1 ) B65. Something definitely needs to be done. That was yesterday, got up this morning to go to the laundry & it was the same thing going on. A large group of people waiting & school kids as well as school are getting started.
Desired outcome: Better service more B65 you can even take some of those B15 buses & make them B65.

M22 Bus Driver
On Tues. On Aug. 22nd at approximately 9 pm, a very unusual incident occurred as I was waiting for the uptown Lincoln Center M20 MTA Bus at Warren/North End Ave. An M22 bus (Bus # 9727) approached, the doors opened, and I asked the driver if he was going past a subway station. I'm unfamiliar with the M22 route and just completed a double-header softball...

A bus operator on Q18 bus #7442, Sun, Aug 20 2023 around 1:40 pm on 30 Ave / 42nd St, verbally harrassesed me for bus fare along side with other riders including some senior citizens. Though specifically had it out for me because the OMNY didn't work on my phone which usually has problems. He started to call me broke and harrassesed me instead of helping me with the machine. My girlfriend witnessing the entire thing payed for it because it was a scary situation for her. When I started to leave the bus at my stop to Maspeth 69 ST/52 AV I started crossing the bus stopped mid turn in front of me and honked at me. The operator proceeded to verbally harrass me. Than left to complete his route. The entire ride was also very dangerous as he went fast in every area that you shouldn't in the q18 route.
I ride that bus to go anywhere in the city and this experience was by far troubling, expeccially how often i've been and going to be riding this bus for.
Desired outcome: Permenant Suspension with proof

Read full review of MTANot white and not being heard
Good Afternoon,
I’m annoyed and I feel unless I have a white person speak for me that’s the only way I will be heard. I have been a Long Island Railroad customer for years and I appreciate the service getting to and from work. However, I know nothing is perfect and I don’t think it’s fair that all these trains are being Changed to accommodate the Grand Central Station and no survey was done to see what people are saying. I had to change my work schedule a few times too and it’s not fair. Now I finally have a train from Hempstead to Pennstation at 6:24-“am that works and now they changing it to Grand Central. Why have two trains 624am and 6:37am going to Grand Central. I can’t keep changing my work schedule for this. This is not fair.
Desired outcome: Leave the 6:24am train from Hempstead to Pennstation alone.
M34 eastbound select bus service.
On multiple occasions when I take the 34th Street crosstown bus eastbound I've asked the driver if he goes to First Avenue. I ALWAYS ask the driver if the bus goes to First Avenue. On the last 3 times I rode this route I asked the driver if he goes to First Avenue and I was told YES. Then of the most recent 3 trips the bus turned onto 2nd Avenue. The driver said, "Well then I think you're just going to have to walk the rest of the way." Unacceptable. This begs the question WHY do so many drivers not know their route? Do they have GPS on the dashboard so they are oblivious to their destination? If your drivers don't know where they are going then the MTA NEEDS to post signs (communication is not a strong point of the MTA) pointing out the different destinations between the M34 and the M34A,
As such, I am requesting a refund of $2.75. I am tired of paying for grossly inadequate service.
Here are the MetroCard numbers to verify this ride that took place around 5:30 pm on 8.9.23. Under the word "Expires" [protected] and under the expiry date [protected].
I look forward to the MTA training your drivers so they do not deliver inaccurate information and the refund I have requested (check or MetroCard - either is fine.) I certainly hope the next time I ride this route the driver knows where they are going!
Desired outcome: Please provide a refund. Please educate your drivers on their routes. Constantly being misinformed is troublesome. Please reply.

D train service
I take the D train every day and I must say this service sucks. The wait time is longer than expected and it stops for more than 10 minutes on Bedford and 205, going uptown and downtown, making my ride longer when it supposed to be 20 minutes less. Every day is an issue with the train, out of service, malfunctions and sometimes they don’t even know what they doing. We are paying a lot of money each year but I don’t see any difference. All the train stations are dirty and needs to be clean more often.
Desired outcome: Faster service, better trains, clean stations.
