Promised to find job
Hello I represent Showcase Management and would like to investigate this allegation further as you definitely should not have paid ourselves $500 . If you could please send through your details to [protected]@showcasemanagent.com.au it would be appreciated. As a Talent Agency we endeavor to promote all talent we represent as professionally as possible, working hard to find roles in TV and film, but ultimately the selection for roles is at the discretion of the production, we certainly cannot and do not promise roles.
The above comment from Scoops111 unfortunately shows that the internet is not an amazing tool when used to spread incorrect information.
The "Company" details listed are not for Showcase Management. The listed information is for the registrar of the domain name, NOT Showcase Management. The correct ABN as listed on our website is [protected] - it can be verified here -

We have not moved 5 times in 10 years, and we have not changed our entity name 4 times. This information is the misleading rubbish which is unfortunately spread by people who claim to know everything. I suggest that people visit our website, and read our information carefully, you will see that all requirements are clearly outline there. Obviously Scoops did not, because it clearly outlines why we require profile, which online system we use, and the cost involved.
We are sorry that you feel this way se nymph. Our head office is in Queensland, so were unable to meet with you. I would question the $220 dollar charge that your current agency charges, what did you receive for that?
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I agree with all comments.
I paid $150 dollar to sign up and plus $160 with photoshop which it was terrible.
I paid for all these fees 3years ago and never they got back to me.
I used to call Dee and Zed asking for jobs and they used to promise something was coming up!
I never been so ripped off in my life and I also didn’t have the extra money to pay to get a job as I’m from overseas and I was struggling to pay my school Fees.
same story with me as 'sccops' and 'Barbarareigns' - "Zed' and "Dee" ( notice they are both just letters of the alphabet, trying to rope me in. I smelt a rat. SIMON, Brisbane
I also got an email from "Dee" a few days ago about filling out a application. So I did and the next day got a call from "Zed" (no last name... which is weird) and he said I had a very "Marketable face" and has a photo shoot coming up with open spots he needs to fill so won't charge me for it. Then gave me Dees number and said to phone her to sought out the online profile which costs $150 bucks... ( getting very skeptical at this point)
So I called just to see what would happen, and when she answered the phone she sort of stuttered and forgot what she was supposed to say (not what a receptionist would do, doing it every day... She then said I can make the payment over the phone if I give her my credit card details or I can pay via paypal. (Theres not a chance in hell I'm giving out my CC over the phone) so I said just email me the paypal link. (which I won't pay) I'm just trying to get them to hand over as much detail about their "company" as possible so I can find out who they are.
So Far I've found out that their company is actually called:
- RUDOLPH, HOHEPA JOSEPH WIREMU
-ABN [protected]
- Registrars name: Hohepa Rudolph
- Active since 07 Jan 2009
- entity type: individual/sole trader
- NOT REGISTERED FOR GST
- Main business location: QLD 4217
- Trading name: Venue Directory
have moved locations 5 times in the last 10 years and changed their entity name 4 times.
do what you wish with this info, the internet can be an amazing tool if you know how to use it ;)

I recently applied for a job and this man Zed called me back saying that I had to fill out an application with my details. They got back to me a day after and he said I had to open an account on this casting and audition website and pay $150. He gave me a number of a woman named Dee. I called her up and I gave her my bank number and she said she would send me an email. I got suspicious right after the phone call and decided to google the company and I found all these complaints. I'm so angry at myself for not realising they were tricking me before I paid. I called up my bank and thank god they are stopping the payment. I don't understand how nothing has been done to stop these liars. They've been scamming people for years.
Hi, I completed a form from the Show Case Management website last night and they call me today January 15, 2015... 12pm from Sonia and said that I got a great photo and look perfect and all. She told me to ring Dee to pay the one time payment of $150" for my profile and she will take 5 photos of me. I was shocked because they Advertised it as a JOB $25 an hour. I didn't expect to pay that amount $150. I applied for a job to earn money not to pay money. I thought Dee is stays in different office but when I rang Sonia answered the phone. Here's their number [protected] Sonia and Dee. Is this a scam or something? I honestly need a job.
can someone from showcase email me asap i would like to speak to someone as you asked me to pay $250 and you would help me find a job its been over 6 months and i haven't received any sort of contact from you
Can anybody who has been affected by this contact me at sammoore111@hotmaill.com
Scammers scammers scammers
I have been hassled by showcase management and casting and auditions for two months now. They text me, Julia and Sonia. To do my profile and pay $143 for a photoshoot. I keep asking them that I prefer to come in and meet the team, do a photoshoot and exactly where their suite is. They evade all these questions. And say, " go on line, create my profile, direct debit the money and text them back confirmation of payment, before they start me up". Rubbish...I am signed up with Krissie Westwood agency in balcatta, Perth Western Australia and none of this underhanded scamming ### happened.
Fortunately I smelled a RAT and didn't pay, this morning I woke up and thought I'd google this lot. Reporting them to ACCC
