I really wish I had read the reviews before placing my order on SilkFred. It would have saved me so much stress and time! I ordered my items two weeks ago and they still haven't been delivered to Royal Mail. And even when they do, it's supposed to be on a 48-hour service. I reached out to SilkFred and they admitted that there were delays with the supplier. I thought they were supposed to be a transparent retailer, but I guess not.
I asked them to cancel my order, but they refused. I even asked them to redirect the order to their return address, but they still refused. It's like their customer service is run by a robot that just says no to everything. They really don't seem to care about their customers at all. It's like they just want to hold onto your money for as long as possible.
I did some research on my own and found out that the items are being shipped from Poland. Apparently, their mail can take up to six weeks to arrive. That's just ridiculous! I wish SilkFred had been more transparent about this from the beginning.

When I prompted SilkFred again, the supplier, MOE, admitted that the parcel had not even been prepared and would only arrive the following week. Instead of using logic to immediately halt the order and issue my refund, they both decided to go against my wishes and pursue the order anyway.
To make matters worse, I found out that this "original" designer is available through Amazon, and the exact same item is more than ?10 cheaper. So much for Emma Watkins' proposal that SilkFred provides "unique fashion with fun and stress-free service."
Overall, I was left feeling disappointed and frustrated with SilkFred's lack of action and initiative. While their response time was quick, it was ultimately useless as they had no power to act. I would not recommend using their service in the future.
