Sixt Incorrect credit card charges

Invoice #[protected] for reservation #[protected]

Reservation was for 5days 25-04-2022 to 04-30-2022. Invoiced and credit card charged for 8 days. Invoice shows car return date as 2/5/2022 at 15:57 PM. Car actually returned on [protected] at 11:30 AM as reserved. When I returned the car rental agent stated " computers were down" so she (Ms. Chiara) could not give me copy of final invoice charges. Now 4 weeks later I get invoice for 1954 EUR's when reservation amount quoted was

1158.44 EUR's,

Desired outcome: Void this invoice and issue new invoice with correct number of rental days which for 5 days should be only 1221 EUR's

Sixt Deducting money without any details

We ended up with almost 900EUR charges on our card after one month from the trip: we not aware of charges and no respond from SIxt related to that charge, we cant believe a large rental car company don't notify their client before charges or after with their insane charges, the car returned with same conditions but they charge us more than double what was charged previously. They do not answer emails and their phone customer service (works only 3 hours per day) always tells that they will investigate and return to me but never do. I am fed up with international calls charges etc and want to escalate. Thank you

Sixt Rent car nice airport [protected]

At the desk we were confronted with extra costs:

- extra insurance for own risk: 35 Euro a day. It came out we could have insured that for 4 Euro a day at Allianz. Its a shame that your organisation is doing this.

- extra payment of 22 Euro for going to Italy. Totally unneccesary! We just crossed the border and broygh the car back to Nice.

I want to make a complaint on these costs. They mounted to almost 300 Euro's. It is reasonable to get some of the money back. Say 10 Euro a day for the insurance will cover it. 8x25 i.e. 200 Euro for the insurance and the 22 Euro for the drive to Italy makes 200 Euro, and a bit.

I ask you to return these costs. If not I'll warn against the practises of SIXT.

Hi,

We rented a car in Annecy and were told it would be $300 for one day. Told that they would hold an additional $500 for any possible damages. I received an invoice for $750 for one day. Not even 12 hours. There were excellent mile charges and then other fees that were not explained. We were told it would be $300 regardless of miles.

Sixt Deposit not returned

We rented a car on the 6th to the 8th of May in Kiel, Germany with unlimited miles. The deposit we paid was 500 eur. It has now been more than 3weeks after returning the car and still we have not received our deposit back! We have called the rental office, sent emails to the german office and also Sixt in US repeatedly...last info we got was that they are holding back the deposit as they say that the car was returned on the 12th! What? As the office was closed they said the car had to be parked outside and the keys to be placed in the keybox and we did...we also said that they could check the camera that we did return the car as per rental agreement. They answered that they don't have cameras there and the chip in the car said it was not returned on the 8th! What? If a car would not have been returned as agreed surely they would call the customer asking when the car will be returned? We returned with full petrol, cleaned and as per agreement and we still don't get our deposit back? We have contacted the nearby shops asking for camera footage and have filed a complaint at the local police and contacted the lawyer...shameful that a huge company such as Sixt do not honor their rental agreements with their customers! All we want is our deposit back and now surely they will have to pay much much more!

Sixt Charges for damages

I’ve ask for ( several times)invoice and or utilization list of who rented the car before and after I returned the car. I rented the car on February 11, 2022 and car was returned February 13, 2022. It states in the contract on February 11, 2022, that Sixt car rental acknowledged the car had damages to it , before I rented the car.

Sixt car rental

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We originally booked a car with your company and consequently our credit card was charged with an amount of EUR 728.96 in February 2022.

We took delivery of the car at Palermo Airport (Italy) on April 10, 2022.

The car broke down after 30 miles of drive.

The car was evacuated by your customer service.

The next day we came back to the airport and received a new car (contract N° [protected])

We got charged on our credit card for an additional amount of CHF 526.90.

Please explain why we had a double charge, whereas we think we should get a refund and a compensation for the trouble.

We also submitted two taxi invoices at your Palermo Airport office and did not get reimbursed.

Thank you for your attention.

Sixt Car Rental In Brussels with return in Schiphol Airport

Agreement Number [protected] I rented a car In Brussels April 20th and returned the car to Schiphol Airport SIXT counter on May 1, 2022. Their system still shows I have the car! I cant get any response from any representative after 4 days of calls! No response from customer service lines, emails, twitter, Facebook anything. I heard their was a cyber attack of some kind, but it doesn't appear they are anywhere close to cleaning up the mess.

Desired outcome: Close my contract as per agreement and send me an invoice!

Sixt Car rental overcharging

Booking Ref [protected]

As discussed on Wed when I returned the car for booking ref [protected], the car was not fully fuelled as expected on Sunday and only had 120 miles of fuel left. I returned the car with 200 miles of fuel left so you should be able to refund me the difference in fuel costs. (pictures of fuel gauge attached).

I requested an amendment to this booking to extend the return time from 10:00 to 15:00 on 12th Nov. The additional cost to pay was £6.52 which was charged to my credit card.

I also mentioned the issues with this booking when the original car that I was given Peugeot 208 reg KW21FYF had only 18 miles of fuel left instead of a full tank as per the agreement. I was given a replacement car Skoda Fabia GJ71LFF which I returned with a full tank of fuel. I have attached a copy of the fuel receipt from Winford Ford garage on 12th Nov for £32.80.

I received an invoice from you on 15th Nov (attached) charging me an additional £237.64 for the car hire that I had already paid.

I have emailed this information to SIXT three times and had no response!

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of fuel costs and excess charges for the bookings ref provided

Sixt Queenstown sixt rental car

I paid a rental car from this company via Expedia and this was all sussed by Expedia. When I arrived at the airport in Queenstown last week the 10.05.2022 around 9pm.I was told by them that it wasn't paid and I had to pay it again plus the bond amount as well. I was running late to an event I was rushing to so I decided to pay and I'll later on get my refund when I send them the receipt from Expedia. After I used their services for 3 days (3 days of rental car booking), came back home and I checked my bank account the other day, to my surprise I was charged again from them for no reason.I contact them directly requesting for a refund and they asked to send them a receipt from Expedia. I send them a receipt from Expedia and they mention later that they need to confirm it again with Expedia before refunding or wait after one week. Like are they serious ? not only that I paid extra for their services but they also charged my card again for absolutely no bloody reason ! [censored] services and I do not recommend to anyone to ever use this company for renting vechiles in Queenstown or anywhere in general because that is what they will do to you !

Desired outcome: Bloody fix online payment system before letting customer use services and improve refunding process as well !!!!

Sixt No assistance for your office in bologna after sixth computer system went on tilt

We arrived at Bologna airport at around 3pm from a very long trip on the 2MAY22 with an email confirmation. Sixt staff explained that since the system was out of their control, they could not honor the sixt promise to rent the car to us. We were desolated. They said they had no obligations towards us as we did not pay in front! However if were were noshows, we would have been charged no? Where are the rights of the client on this circumstances? We wre really left stranded. thank god my son had a gold card from one of your competitors who gave us an excellent service and price! Your customer service at Bologna Airport leaves much to be desired!

Sixt Deducting money without any details

Hello,

I did 2 reservations with Sixt this current month :

The first one : [protected] under Rental Agreement number RAR9312

The Second : [protected] under Rental Agreement number RAR9537

and I have got deduction from my bank account more than 4500 Saudi Riyal (as per the attachments), I have tried several times to contact your office at Airport Riyadh Terminal # 5 to get the breakdown & details for the deductible amount by calls and through WhatsApp unfortunately I'm not getting any responses (I'm attaching the all the screen shoots for my messages) and they are reading the messages and ignoring them without any caring of my messages & with unprofessional and respectful way also in the same way I have tried to contact the manager many times Mr. Ibrahim ; so kindly need the full details urgently for all the deducted payments and immediate action urgently.

Sixt fraudulant damage claims

Rented a car at Philadelphia airport on 3/31/22 through 4/5/22. On 3/31 a rental agent took all my information and printed out the agreement for the car also the damages that were already on the vehicle. Upon returning the said car I was greeted by a representative who checked the car over made sure the tank was full. I asked if I had to sign any paper work he explained that it was not necessary. I left the rental lot by shuttle to the airport. I just received a bill from Sixt for $1,369.02 for damages. I reached out to their claims department they said I caused the damages. So wrong I went to NJ to visit my sister who was terminal. I drove the car from their lot to Little Egg Harbor spent the last days with my sister and then drove the car back to the rental lot in Philadelphia. The car never moved from my sister's driveway until I returned to my residence in Florida. The rental agreement is [protected]

Sixt Sixt Rent A Car

I was charged twice for one day of renting a one car. I purchased insurance at their counter. And they're trying to have me pay for a damage/scratch on the car. They said I had no insurance. I have proof that I did have coverage. Didnt know at the time that I was charged twice for the same car for one day. Just bizzare how I paid extra at the counter and they Want to charge me for damage. And still persist I owe that amount. So I had one reservation according to them with insurance and one without.At the time had no knowledge I was charged twice. Tried to email and call them to resolve this matter. They just send me the generic email saying I'm responsible for damage because they're going by the first reservation not the second one I was also charged for.

Desired outcome: No one wants to call me I've called numerous times. Please look up the receipts of me paying twice and getting coverage at sixt counter.

Sixt confirmation number [protected]

I tried booking a car for my husband. I listed him as the driver. It defaulted to my account and put me back as the driver. He is travelling without me.

We realized this error 24 hours before travel and tried switching him to the driver. WE were told less car for 200. more.

To cancel was 100. fee. Then became 200. while I was on the phone with the agent explaining WHY we rented the car.

HOSPICE situation for his father.

My husband is a retired Army Colonel. We use your company frequently. However if you truly do NOT refund my 200. We will never use your company again. Plus we will make a social media post regarding your treatment of a repeat client.

Desired outcome: Full 200,00 refund.

Sixt Car rental company charging double

Double charged for the same rental and two insurances.

1. Laurel palagyi (original credit card on the agreement prior to rental). $512 and $78 insurance will then released back to sixt per original contractual agreement.

2. Second credit card in the name of riley aloe - full refund for rental and insurance.

*There was nothing extra on this rental.

Gas was full

no damage

etc.

Both credit companies have been contacted and all amounts are in dispute until Sixt can make this right.

Desired outcome: Sixt needs to honor the original cost of the rental and insurance. Credit Riley Aloes credit card back for all unauthorized inflated extra amounts!!!

Sixt Car rental

I had rented a van for 3 days. Was running late to drop off the car because I was unaware the drop off time was changed.. I offerd to drop the car off a few hours late on tha day of return. I was met with hostility. They told me I will have to pay for another 24 hours.. I told them that's fine.. then they ask me to drop the car off an hour early from drop off time . I told them I will be using the whole 24 hours because I rightfully paid for it...they went on to explain to me that it was booked for that time. I told them it will need to be changed then since your charging me money for using the car for 24 hours . Not 23

Desired outcome: Treat people better. Needs more diversity.

Sixt Truck rental

Ryde office running a scam where they claim you damaged the inside of the truck.

Pre taking the truck you take photos of outside.. Never the roof as it's too high to get up a d end a drone.. Or inside.. They don't suggest you do and didn't accompany us on walk around.

On returning the vehicle they claim you were standing on the roof and put a hole in it and put black masking tape on the inside to cover it.. Nice scam.. Well played..

Cmon.. Are you kidding.. But they have you in the small print... Excess $500

No idea how many times they have run this side hustle.. But beware of these guys..

Also, they just didn't happen to have notes on this "hole" on their computer/systems..

Very very dodgy..

Sixt No confirmation booking received only reference number de01-[protected]

Booked a car for Liverpool airport to collect Saturday 12,30 & drop off Sunday 10/4/22 at 06.00 on Thursday 31/3/22. Received a reference number only.

Friday 1/4/22 received an email saying confirmation would arrive in 48 hours!

Could not cancel this online as I didn't have a booking reference.

As I was travelling Saturday I needed to know a car would be there.

I have had to make alternative arrangements as I could not contact anyone to speak to about this. Contacting Sixt was impossible.

I therefore do not wish to be charged for this.
