I was suddenly logged out and subsequently banned from Skout on November 26th. I emailed support and was told my account would be reinstated and to give 24 hours to allow this. I tried logging in today, December 1st, and received a message that I was banned for violating terms of service. I have emailed them and am waiting on a reply.
I cannot think of a reason for being banned or how I violated the terms of service. I get scammers messaging me about sugar daddy scams, men messaging me with crude, dirty messages, and I either don’t reply or I tell them I am not interested. I do not talk about drugs, sexual things, or call people names. So I don’t understand how I could have violated the terms of service.
I am very disappointed as I enjoyed talking to people on there. I feel even more fearful to talk about anything online, I feel like I’m always being watched and will get banned from any service I use for saying something wrong in their eyes. Many of these apps are owned by one company now. My friend was banned from Tinder, Match.com, and POF because a person trying to scam him on Tinder attempted to hack his account. These apps need to investigate more thoroughly and not ban people over nonsense.
Desired outcome: Reinstate my account
