Skyscanner no way to contact them by phone

We booked our flight over a month ago to Croatia from them on British Airways. I tried to find a phone number to call them after my father in law had a heart attack and we need to make changes.
Their site lead me back to British Airways which then told me I needed to contact the travel agent. I explained that I booked it with Skyscanner and they said to contact them. I tried again to find a way to do this and it's impossible as there is no phone number.
British Airways finally did come to my rescue and banked the ticket for me to use at a later date. They didn't have to do this but they were awesome about it. DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH SKYSCANNER WHO HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Skyscanner goto gate

On 17th of march I booked the ticket from "gotogate" throgh skyscanner.
First time, when I saw the price it was around 400dollors and after 2months when I check on my bank account, I need to pay 4000dollors which is not even twice! Then times expensive than normal price and my flight was not even both way flight, and I booked the flight 2months ago and it was transfer filght! That`s why I am very confused and when I asked customersercive on gotogate. They kept said it is my fault that I did not check on that time, but when you think logically one way ticket can`t be more than4000 dollors and it was not even business calss. So I hope skyscanner company can check the price on 14th of may flight ticket
I flew with cathay pacific airline, boarding time was one is 9:20am and 17:30 pm and flight number was cx746 and cx410. Dubai to seoul inchone.

Skyscanner flight dxb-sjj 30th june

Dear sir/madam

Yesterday (14th of may) I booked a flight from dubai to sarajevo for the 30th of june. my payment was taken immediately for aed3645.

Around 4 hours later I received a phone call informing me that the flight I had chosen was sold out. they then changed the story to be the price of the flight was different and there would be an extra charge.

When I asked what the extra charge was they informed me it would be an additional charge of aed 3000 dirhams! that is not an additional charge that is double the advertised price.

When I asked them what would happen if I cancelled my flight they said I had until 8am the following morning to cancel. if I hadn't then I wouldn't receive a refund for upto 30 working days. (please bare in my mind this phonecall came at 9pm)

The fact that I had such a tight time limit to cancel my flight in after it was not even the flight advertised at all was ridiculous.. later they mentioned that I could change the time of my flight and the extra charge would be only 1800 dirhams, which is still alot of extra money.

After checking your website and fly dubais webite. fly dubai is clearly stating the correct price, as this is what dnata now want to charge me.

If I had believed I would have been refunded immediately I would have cancelled but unfortunately after speaking with my boyfriend who had a similar situation after booking via skyscanner I decided this was unlikely.

fyi he was only ever refunded 20% of his ticket price.

I decided to go ahead with the aed1800 excess charge. however I am very unhappy with your website. it seems that you are not monitoring prices at all. dnatas lack of update was clearly a ploy to have people book through them rather than fly dubai directly even though its the exact same price.. and its not just dnata there was 5+ other agencies offering cheaper deals.

This whole experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth and I would be reluctant to use sky scanner again.

Between myself and my partner we have now both experienced problems using the site. this has never happened to me before after years of using this website.. until now.

Clearly you are letting standards drop.

Please fix it.

Skyscanner unauthorised credit card charges

I booked a flight with a skyscanner partner called tripsta.
The amount quoted and the amount debited from my card were different by more than 1000zar (South arican rand).
I cancelled my booking with in ten minutes, and was told that the discrepancy was bank charges.
The amount the bank charges is 2.75 percent, no where near the 1000zar.
The amount refunded to me was 1300 zar short of the amount I paid.
I cannot get hold of tripsta agent as I keep getting put on hold, have held on the phone for a total of 1hour and 34 minutes today.
The balance of my money needs to be refunded to me immediately.

Skyscanner zuji

Booking via sky scanner zuji have taken payment for a ticket but emailed me to say it is not confirmed. Basically I have paid for a flight which has not been booked and will be full by the time the travel company pull their finger out. I want this refunded but have had no answer. Researched and lots of people have had same problem and not been given tickets. How can sky scanner promote and be part of this scam receiving a cut of payments for flights which are never received by customers?! How is this legal

My name is Joby. I booked my ticket via sky scanner gotogate. They have taken payment for a ticket but emailed me to say it is not confirmed. Basically I have paid for a flight which has not been booked and will be full by the time the travel company pull their finger out. I want this refunded but have had no answer. The author is wrong:
1. Scycanner is a commercian name, and such name is a legal property in different contriues (minimum 4)
2. In order to address a complaint, you need to check
1) your e-ticket issuing airline and IATA number
2) the sende's name of your e-ticket
3) to get a record from your bank for the exact transation,
if the e-ticket does not produce the IATA number and issuing airline.
4) To claim the return of money via bank in the form of fraud (no IATA number/ no issuing airline).
MY e-mail is stated in the profile, but my servise will not be free in your case.

Skyscanner website

I have been using skyscanner for years... No problems... Until today.

We booked flights all the way through to the end... Including visa details etc... It took a while... Only to told right at the end that that particular fare was not available. Even though you still show it available with 9 seats... So I went to edreams and booked the exact same flight and price... It was confirmed almost immediately... The other thing when I booked with skyscanner you booked our added baggage twice... Not good.

Skyscanner no refund was provided, misconduct by go to gate

Hi there,

I’ve purchased a ticket online through skyscanner app for my mom, who was travelling from Russia to Wellington and then back to Russia from Wellington (return ticket).
The skyscanner lists all the travel agencies that you can buy the tickets from. I happened to buy from an agent called ‘GotoGate’. It was an absolute nightmare to deal with them from the get go.
First of all, two weeks before my mom was supposed to fly out – they have sent me an email saying that one of the connections (through China Southern ) was cancelled and then they offered me alternative flights.
After I’ve replied to them saying I accept the change, a day after they sent an email informing me that the airline cant offer me any alternatives.. And basically said my only option is to get a refund. Not only did my mom have to buy another ticket,
the go to gate (or as I named them ‘Go to hell’) agent haven’t provided me with the refund, it’s been more than 8 weeks….I have been in constant contact with them trying to get them to give me some sort of time frame as to when I will receive my money..They keep telling me to wait…To be honest I don’t think I’m going to get my money back. I don’t know what to do as the ticket was not cheap almost 2000 nzd …I’m so angry and frustrated and don’t know who I can talk to. I want other people to know that they should be cautious buying tickets online, especially want to warn them about the GoToGate agent as they will scam anyone ! The call center people are absolutely useless and don’t speak English very well..I’m assuming the cheap call center is in India.
I have all the emails and documentation and a record of hundreds of times that I have been calling them.

Could you please let me know if you can assist me with this matter,

Skyscanner price manipulation

Hi,
I used skyscanner to search for flights iad-lhr return and many came up with $486 for many dates into the future.

I successfully purchased one ticket for $486 departing a couple of weeks in the future.

I immediately went to purchase some more iad-lhr tickets many months ahead (Which were shown as $486 too before purchasing the first ticket) and they had jumped up to over $1000.

Is there an algorithm that is at work doing price-gouging or how can you explain this?

I am considering making a public declaration of this problem because I think this price manipulation is outrageous.

Skyscanner for being kept on the and not receiving / product only pain

is skyscanner been on internet all night have made a lot off time wasting tactic fares went up I had to keep re doing everything over and over not happy as yet another day lost not being with my son as I should yesterday its was one off your partner sites as you are all linked together not really comparison sites at all everyone trying for the same bussness this really is not the last you hear of this matter companys working of the same browser and I thought they was good deals thanks for the run around ive got plenty of history of tonight games and time its wasted let alone not being with my son thanks skyscanner I will be sure tell everyone I can of my experiencre with you I started at 22.08 and its now 03, 25 pm and no charce off a resanable flight but more hours of travel

Skyscanner negative experience

I have booked a flight via Skyscanner and after I paid they said that I'll get everything else later (payment confirmation and ticket).
Several days later a confirmation message finally came but there was no ticket. Waited for about a week and contacted Skyscanner customer care service and was told that my flight was cancelled!
I asked for a refund and they said that they were not able to refund me because it was a low cost ticket. So what? I don't care was it low cost or anything, I gave them my money, they ruined my trip and the worst part was that they stole my money!
Think twice before you decided to use this site!

Skyscanner verbal abuse and extortion from skyscanner

Dear Sir/Madam,

Yesterday evening I visited Skyscanner to book at flight from London Gatwick to Glasgow. A flight was displayed for £42, departing at 7:15am with only 2 seats remaining, British Airways. As I went through the booking process and added all my details it still confirmed that there were still 2 seats available. However when I reached the final confirmation page the payment didn’t go through as the flight was now “unavailable”. I was then offered a promotional code of £20 to price match the next flight from £62 to £42 but there was nowhere to enter the code at checkout so I called the company that I had been redirected to, CheapOair. I then reached a woman named Roseanne who was incredibly rude and then told me that the flight had double in price and was over £80. This came as quite a shock as the website still said £42 with 2 seats remaining. Whilst trying to understand why the flight had doubled in price, Roseanne then went on to verbally abuse me and lecture me on how I shouldn’t be booking a flight the day before. If this is the case then your company shouldn’t offer such a service. I had to hold the phone away from my ear whilst she was shouting at me and my mother could hear her from the other side of the room. To say the least this was an appalling and unprofessional way to deal with a customer query.
I then reloaded the Skyscanner page to see if there was any change in price on the website and there wasn’t. It was still advertising the flight for £42 at 7:15am with British Airways. I decided to go through the booking again to see if anything had changed and throughout the whole process the price was £42, all the way to the confirmation page. It finally confirmed at £42 but due to the previous issues with this order I checked to see how much I had been charged and to my absolute disgust I had been charged £61.79 instead of £42. I don’t understand how a price can increase after the payment has been processed.
When I refreshed the page this morning, the summarised price had further still increased to £68 on my flight summery, there is clearly an anomaly in your system as how can a price continue to increase after initial payment.
I was extremely shocked and appalled at the inconstancy of your company and the inadequacy of your employees. You have taken money from my account without permission. This is extortion. When I called and waited on hold a second time to speak to somebody about a refund, I was stunned to be told that I was a liar and that the price was never at £42. I have evidence that holds against this and will attach it to the email. I asked to speak to a manager and was just put on hold for further 20 minutes until somebody finally picked up the phone. Unfortunately, I was just passed on to another colleague who had no idea about my situation and was not a manager. I then explained the situation again and asked to speak to a manager. Then after waiting a ridiculous 30 minutes on hold I realised that no one was going to answer my call.
This is an absolutely disgraceful service and I will not pay for more than what I originally agreed to. At the very least I expect a refund of £19.79 to be refunded into my bank account. I would also like to be reassured that I am not going to be abused by your employees in future transactions with your company. If you cannot meet these requirements, I will personally not hesitate to take things further.

5 times they have changed my husbands flights, to be told he can't fly on the one they found, he is on a spouse visa should have been here yesterday, we are both very stressed, with no money left and he is stuck in airport
It's is disgusting how he has been treated, they say he needs visa for transit in Paris ? He doesn't !

I bought a ticket man-Islamabad-man
On British airways
At the time of booking the cheapest coming at £414.00
But now for the same dates it is coming £365.00 my flight on 29 November and back on 18 January

Travel agent we booked our flight with through skyscanner emailing us saying flight time and price changed, weeks after we booked and paid. What do we do?

We booked to leave Jan 1st and return 23rd and now they say our return flight times have changed and we need to pay the difference.

Skyscanner false advertising

We received an alert email from Skyscanner saying that the flights we were watching had come down significantly in price. We went on and searched the flights and the results of Skyscanner showed that they were cheap, but when we clicked on 'book flight' it just took us to the aircanada main search engine where we would again have to type the flight dates and destinations. The prices were still almost double the prices we were quoted on Skyscanner. Firstly, they gave incorrect prices (false advertising), secondly they didn't even link to the flights in question on the airline's site and thirdly clearly their search engine is worthless.
