I would like to request Skyscanner not to use this company as a third party for selling airline tickets. We have been conned about luggage allowance and asked to pay £220 per piece of luggage, which makes the flights to La Havana, we originally booked for £750, a lot more expensive. We would have chosen the other options offered by Skyscanner if we knew the bad image and service Kiwi.com provides.
We were not informed when booking that they only allowed a small handbag to carry, and we would never have imagined they were going to rob us charging us 35% of the cost of the ticket on luggage allowance per person.
I have always used Skyscanner to book my flights, I am a frequent traveller and as everyone knows all the low cost airlines at least allow you to carry a cabin piece of luggage for free, we have never been gone through a scam like this in our lives.
Skyscanner should take responsibility of not misleading their customers taking them to Kiwi.com website where we are vulnerable to many scams by this company. I have read a huge amount of complaints about this company now, this should have been sufficient for Skyscanner to stop liaising with this fraudulent company.
cancelled flight from kuwait to luxor without informing
I have booked 2 tickets for my wife and daughter, Dubai-Kuwait-Luxor.
Dubai-Kuwait was late for 1hr 25m, it was through Jazeera Airways. Kuwait-Luxor was cancelled with no communication at all with us even after the cancellation there is no one care about them at the Airport from Wataniya Airlines, it is a very bad experience i ever faced during flying.

flights from dublin to perth booked through skyscanner
I booked two flights from Dublin to Perth, Australia with Tripsta on Skyscanner two months ago. The wedding I was due to attend in Perth has been cancelled and for three weeks now I have been trying to cancel one flight and change the dates on another. As of yet I have not received any correspondence from Tripsta, via email or phone, except an automated response.
Why have Skyscanner advertised these flights if, as it seems, there was never any intention to honour the agreement. I'm down 2, 000 euro now and I will be taking legal exception to recoup my losses if there is no correspondence from either Tripsta or Skyscanner in the next week.

Later that day I check the airline for with the booking # and it says your ticket is reserved now make payment. So I called them back and they said to wait until next day 6pm to complete booking and they will call me with info. Next day after 6pm, no email or phone calls, I called again and was told to wait next day after 4pm and it would be ready, I waited for email or phone call again, Nothing. so I checked reservation # on airline again and my ticket was ready and said " you can check in in 4 days". I was really relieved and told my children we were going, my family, employers and went shopping for our trip. then a received a phone call after 8pm and an email 6:36pm telling me the airline change price ( lies because I took a picture of the screen with my ticket booked) I didn't have my ticket and I'll get refund, which I didn't get yet. he told me I need to wait until Monday to speak to a manager. I called their office today 15/07/2018 various times and on answer, but their website says they're open from 9 to 5pm. this is totally inacceptable and the children are upset too. I can find a cheaper option anymore and I don't know where my money is either. Real scam and skyscanner should not be leading people to their website. I trusted skyscanner until yesterday, now I can use you any longer.
I do hope you can look into this matter and solve this problem as soon as possible, please.
I am very disappointed and so is y whole family and children.

misleading pricing
Hi, people beware misleading prices on Skyscanner... how come I search a price, find one I'm happy with, fill in all my info and at the last click the price has jumped up from €469 to €578?
It is total bulls#*t... how can you account for this! And it's not the first time ether.. flying to Sri Lanka last year price jumped €105 at the last click to book the flight... just show the real price and I'd be okay with it but cannot stand the pretend low pricing.. The site is blatantly misleading people!

On Monday, I had searched the flight for two ways from singapore to malaysia and back to singapore and the cost is around SGD 113 which show in the app, however, on Wednesday, I just realize it actually cost me SGD 209.91. The APP was mislead and confuse the user. What I can say is, this was the first time I used the app, and it will my last time. The APP disappointed me.

You have gone the way of all the giant corps! when I travel, i cannot get on your site in my language. your site will keep reverting back to the language of the country I am in. You are losing thousands of travelers who would like to book flights form where ever they are. why can't I just go to skyscanner.com with out your site jacking me over to the local language, making it impossible to use your site from anywhere but my home!

Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing to you in disgust at the treatment myself and my friend received whilst flying with your airline.
On the 30th May 2018, flight number EQ197 we flew from Quito to Baltra. At no point from booking, through to boarding the flight were we told that passengers must be Ecuadorian citizens or foreign citizens legally residing in Ecuador otherwise an additional charge will be applied. Upon our departure from Baltra on the 6th June 2018, flight number EQ 192 we were then made aware of this problem and both ordered to pay a fine of US$147.84 otherwise we would not be able to take the flight.
We appreciate that the local fare may be cheaper, we should however have been made aware of this problem when booking the flights. If we had of known the increased fares, we would not have travelled to the Galápagos Islands in the first place.
Once we had received the paperwork for the fine, it was evident that the boxes had been ticked that we were an Ecuadorian resident. At no point had we been asked this question. The member of Tame staff at the desk explained that out of 150 international passengers that day, 6 people had experienced this problem. This fraudulent behaviour of selling cheap flights and then stinging unsuspecting travellers upon departure of an island with no other way of getting away from is disgraceful.
Due the this lack of negligence throughout the booking process and check in at the airport we demand your company to issue a full refund of the fine, US$147.84 to both myself and Raphael Rommel.
It is evident that this is not an isolated case so we suggest that your company take extra time to resolve this issue before you catch even more of your passengers out.

prices shown online to point of booking
Hi, I just wanted to get in touch about a recent issue we came across which ended up costing us an extra £100 per person (x4) to what our research had suggested when using your service for checking flights and prices. We had been looking at prices over a few weeks and it always varied between £50-£80 per flight, we always know the prices go up a bit with add ons as you go through the booking service so were expecting the prices to increase slightly. This time when we got to the final booking, the prices had increased to £170 odd per person, costing us another £400 to our holiday. Irritatingly the last time I checked that reduced price is still showing on your system, so sure we are not the only ones to have got caught out like this. Its so frustrating as we always use you to get options and we have been really let down. The flight in question is Biaritz to Southampton on 1.9. I look forward to your thoughts. Thanks Helen

I've booked a flight from dubai to batumi wit fly dubai via flight network from your website. Fly dubai sent me an email stating that the payment used by flight network was declined so they refunded them.
The flight network didn't send me any email and no refund. So when i called them twice they keep telling me that they will send me an email with what happend. Still i didn't receive anything from them. No email and no refund knowing that fly dubai has already sent them their refund. I believe this is unacceptable and unprofessional. I've booked before via skyscanner and i didn't encounter such an experience. I'm extremely disappointed

On 16/6/201811 June 2018 at 10:50:26 BST morning, we contacted Mr. Raaj ([protected]@skyscannerlive. info) from Skyscanner (Tel No 0203 970 4627) to book a flight to Colombo (dep 6/8/18 Return 5/9/18). He booked the flight by Qatar Airways. Money was paid. But no e-ticket issued. When contacted I was promised the ticket will be issued. but after several attempts to try to contact him, he never answered the call. Till today I have not received my e-ticket.

booking and cancellation arrangements through skyscanner, travel up and united airlines
Martin Robertson searched at approx. 8pm, Thursday 31 May for return flights from Glasgow to Boston/ New York 1 August - 10 August. TU1291551.
During the booking the flights showed a single stop over in Reykjavik. The cost was £1500 with Icelandic Air.
As the booking progressed the price emerged as £1750 and he was redirected to United Airlines.
He thought the re-direction to United Airlines offered direct flights and as the price was £200 extra this seemed to make sense. He booked.
The following morning he came into the office and received the email from Travel Up advising him that :
1. The outward flight to Boston was via New York and Washington!
2. The return flight from New York was via Toronto with an overnight stop over!
He contacted Travel Up to change/ cancel these arrangements as they were not what he thought he had booked.
Travel up were unhelpful to say the least. The advised that any changes had to be made on the same day... and would cost a minimum of £200+.
Our complaint is as follows:
1. There was insufficient clear an obvious information provided on stopover details on the United Airlines site to allow proper decision-making
2. Had he known the details of stop-over and flight times he would never have booked as he needs to be back by Saturday 10th for a previous appointment which he will now miss. (A Concert)
3. when you are booking a flight at 8pm at night and cannot read emails until the following morning a 'same day' restriction on making adjustments is hardly a fair policy.
4. We have made a suggestion for improving the situation and the initial response was tough luck. Another email was sent at 8 am ish this morning and he has not had a reply. The proposed solution would be
- a) fly to New York and do not continue to Boston. Instead he will make his own way to the destination
- b) fly directly to Glasgow from New York on the return journey.
He would be most obliged if you would respond positively to this message today.

I am going on skyscanner comparisson map and see that the trip from Billund to London for 3 nights costs from 149 danish kroner. I choose the days, where it says price starts from 162 danish kroner. When I click on the green button to see the flight, suddenly opens the window with prices, where the cheapest flight for these days is 1.352 danish kroner.
And like this for all destinations.
How can that be?

I have booked ticket from skyscanner biggest mistake ever made. mytrip.com this was link on skyscanner. There was problem on system when you booking ticket. if some one has three part of name no option how to put name.
I booked ticket hoping to immediately call relevant agent and get it fixed. no contact number provided for agent nor for skyscanner. email option done email twice received email they will contact and deal with query in 48 hours. which after 20 days nothing received back. Money is taken from bank. Now no one responsible to speak to. Also there was cheating on sight when you book ticket no admin fee mentioned however when you receive confrmation £36 admin fee is been asked for?

Hai I did book a ticket to London to Cochin in July 2018 through Skyscanner from tripsta.ticket booked in December 2017 and booking reference is F92250488 .got confirmation after few days got a mail saying ticket rescheduled and given 28hrs waiting flight saying if you want to cancel do it within 24hrs get full refund I paid £1750 for 4of us.so we requested refund and till now not got the money.we did try to contact the customer service through phone and saying enter a pound symbol I haven't got that in the phone on calling digits.i never heard such a symbol to enter.so cannot contact them through phone.contacting through e mail and they says I ticket got approved for refund and other 3 is still pending.now it's 5 months need to travel in july.need to book another ticket for traveling and so stressed because of this issue .now money loss and stress so never believe the online sites.sheena

My husband and I booked a flights from Llastminute.com and because we are flying with our cat i tried to contact them to make a reservation for the cat i spoke with a woman who wasn't speaking English and she ask me to find somebody who speaks Spanish. I speak a little bit Spanish but she did not help me at all. How i will be sure when i go to the airport everything with my cat is gonna be fine?!

Used skyscanner twice today and when booking flights I was directed to kiwi.com. payments went through then I was advised hours later that the price had changed. They advised paying the higher price. They also suggested baggage prices than were much higher than the airline was offering on their website. I hope I get my refunds back. Not planning on using skyscanner again.
