I recently experienced some issues with the new system update at Small Business Bank
I recently experienced some issues with the new system update at Small Business Bank. Ever since the update, my deposit has gone missing. I've been trying to reach out for assistance through various channels like text, phone calls, messages, and email since April 30th, but I haven't received any response. This has put me in a difficult situation as I have no money and my bills are now late, resulting in additional fees. It's frustrating that the only thing I can reach is an answering service and not an actual bank personnel.
This bank say they help small biz
This bank say they help small biz. You open account, put money in, then no more access to account or money. When you call, answering service. If you talk to someone, they say call again. People can't get money and bank won't give refund or access to accounts. We think this bank fake and doing fraud.
I can't send money to my other accounts anymore
I can't send money to my other accounts anymore. It used to work fine for the past few years, but the new app update won't let me do it. They told me to update my phone's software, but my old phone can't handle it. I can't spend $800-$1000 on a new phone unless they give me a credit. I really need a way to do my business like before, and I'm not happy with this problem. Please help me fix it!

So, I had this issue with Small Business Bank
So, I had this issue with Small Business Bank. They put money in my business checking account on November 27th. But when I tried to access the funds, my account got closed out of the blue. They told me I had to pay $5 to open it again. So, I paid the $5, but I still couldn't get into my account or talk to a banker about what's happening. Every time I call customer service, they just keep saying I have two accounts and a banker will call me with more info. It's now December 8th and I haven't heard from any banker yet. I've been calling every day since November 27th and they keep telling me the same thing. They say a banker will contact me and let me know about my account, but that never happens. Can you please help me get my money back from that account and also get my $5 deposit back? Thanks a lot.
On 4/30, we got the news that we could access our account and funds using a desltop and mobile user interface
On 4/30, we got the news that we could access our account and funds using a desltop and mobile user interface. I tried to reach out to the bank multiple times, but no one has responded to my requests for help with my account problems. They promised to call me back, but I haven't received any calls (they have recordings of these promises, so they can't deny it). Our account has been frozen, and they have rejected six-figure wire transfers without giving any explanation. As a result, we can't do any banking transactions with our vendors at the moment. I even tried to close my account, but they couldn't do it and transfer my remaining balance to a new bank. This situation has made us non-compliant with our factoring loan partner and caused delays in payments to our vendors and employees. It has also led to a loss in revenue.
I deposited a check for a little over $14000 on June 23rd using the mobile check deposit feature
I deposited a check for a little over $14000 on June 23rd using the mobile check deposit feature. However, it took 2 days for the deposit to process and show as pending. To my surprise, I received a notification stating that there would be a 5-day hold on the funds.
In the meantime, I made another mobile deposit of $1610, which also took days to process and show as pending. On June 25th, I received a notice informing me that the $14000 check had been returned. As a result, my accounts were frozen for review.
When I spoke to the woman who called, she was extremely rude throughout the entire conversation. She mentioned that they had noticed deposits that were not in my name, which I had no knowledge of. When I asked for clarification, she simply stated that it could take up to 90 days and abruptly ended the call.
Feeling frustrated, I decided to try and stop the $1610 deposit so I could sort things out. However, I received a reply stating that it wouldn't be posted. Unfortunately, the money I need for my customers' materials is now stuck in limbo. To make matters worse, no one has returned my calls or answered my messages.
I got a savings account with Small Business Bank like a year ago
I got a savings account with Small Business Bank like a year ago. I've been calling them for a whole week now 'cause their online banking ain't working. First time I called, some answering service picked up instead of the actual bank. They said a banker would call me back to help me out, but guess what? No call back ever happened. So, I kept calling. But now, when I call, this automated message comes up saying all the bankers are busy and I gotta wait for the next available one. And then, bam! The phone line just disconnects.
Now, here's where things get real bad. I'm tryna buy a new house, and today was supposed to be the closing day. But the mortgage company needs to see my last two bank statements from my account to finalize the mortgage. Problem is, I can't access those statements at all, and nobody's picking up the damn phone. On top of that, I scheduled a wire transfer through their app to pay for the house, but it never went through. But get this, my account balance still shows like the money's gone. This whole situation is tearing my family's life apart, man.
I recently contacted Small Business Bank to change my business address from Anaheim to I***e
I recently contacted Small Business Bank to change my business address from Anaheim to I ***e. They refused, even though I provided them with reports and documents from the sec of state showing the correct address. They seemed confused and argued with me for days. Eventually, they changed the address, but then they falsely claimed that I requested to close the account. I told them I never made such a request and that any account actions must be in writing. They ignored me and closed the account. It's unbelievable. They discriminated against me and retaliated just because I wanted to change my address. If this causes any problems or burdens with my pending transactions, I will sue them for $20 million. I also filed a complaint with the federal reserve. I don't understand how this bank got a license.
On [protected], I opened a new business checking account with SBB online
On [protected], I opened a new business checking account with SBB online. They gave me an account number and their routing number. Since then, I've tried many times to contact someone at this bank, but I'm starting to think that SBB might be a fake or dishonest bank. On [protected], the SBA approved my PPP loan and deposited over 100k into my account. However, since then, SBB has refused to let me transfer any of the funds. I've given them all the documents they asked for. I did some research on this bank and found out the following: 1) the address they provided shows up as a garbage dumpster on Google Maps, 2) their phone number is always busy, even when I called at midnight, and 3) their other number just rings all day without anyone answering. I've also sent them many emails, but they haven't replied to any of them. I would expect better customer service from a bank that claims to help small businesses, especially when I've deposited over 100k with them. As a small business owner, it's making me nervous that they have my money and won't let me access it. I've been trying to reach someone at their branch for over 2 weeks, but no luck. I'm considering contacting the FBI. They're holding my money hostage and won't respond to my calls or emails. I have payroll coming up soon, and I don't know if I'll be able to pay my employees because SBB won't let me access my funds or communicate with me.
I've been banking with Small Business Bank for a little over a year now
I've been banking with Small Business Bank for a little over a year now. Yesterday, my debit card wasn't getting approved, so I called in to find out what was happening. I thought maybe there was a suspicious charge on my account. I was put on hold and decided to check my app. I saw a message saying that one of my accounts had been frozen. When I spoke to the teller, they confirmed that my account was indeed frozen. They told me to open the chat page on the app and ask, "What information do I need to provide to unfreeze my account?" The chat bot would then give me instructions. I followed the instructions and waited. I want to make it clear that I didn't receive any notification that my account was being frozen. No text, email, phone call, or voicemail. I tried using my card at 8:30 in the morning and called Small Business Bank at 9 am. I typed in my question at 9:15, and at 10:00 am, I got back on the phone. After the fifth phone call and leaving messages for a call back, the teller put me on a long hold and then said, "Your account is being reviewed and will not be unfrozen until the review is complete." He couldn't tell me what the review meant, why it was being reviewed, or how long it would take. He also said that there was no one else above him available, but that "***" the "manager" would call back the number on file, which is my number. So I waited and waited and waited. It was 11 o'clock, then 12 o'clock, then 1 o'clock, then 2 o'clock, and still no *** or anyone else reached out to me, despite the fact that I called in multiple times trying to speak to someone who could explain what was going on. This is a business account, and I have employees to pay before the holiday. At 2:30 pm, a chat bot message popped up saying that I failed the review and my account would be closed because of transactions that didn't match my stated business type. Well, at least I knew there was closure. But an hour later, "***" messaged me on chat asking me to explain a recent transaction and how it related to my stated business. I provided an explanation, but I haven't received a response. It's now been 28 hours, and my account is still frozen and not closed. I've called and called, but there's been no communication, no chat message, and I'm still waiting.
I filled out an application for Small Business Bank because I wanted to open a business checking account online
I filled out an application for Small Business Bank because I wanted to open a business checking account online. I didn't want to go to a physical store. I planned to use this account for funds from a Paycheck Protection Loan application. I mentioned this in my application. They opened the account without any issues. However, when the financing bank sent the loan disbursement, they told me my account was "frozen" and couldn't receive the funds. Small Business Bank sent me a message saying they would close the account because I was a franchisee of a national company. They said they would send me a cashier's check for the remaining balance. I replied to their message, telling them that I had already disclosed that I was a franchisee and had filled out their DBA form on their website after opening the account. I also reminded them that I only intended to use the account for managing the loan funds. They didn't respond. A few weeks later, I logged in and saw that there was still a balance. I messaged them again and they told me to call and ask for someone named "***." Finally, on 7/20, I called and spoke to a lady who told me that the account needed to be closed because I was a franchisee. She said I needed to transfer the balance to another account. I provided the account information for my other bank and asked Small Business Bank to allow the trial deposits so I could verify the account. They ignored me. The deposits were rejected, so I couldn't verify the account or transfer the balance. I asked them to transfer the money instead. I filled out a cashier's check request and asked them to mail it to me. They ignored everything. By the way, franchises are small businesses too and they need bank accounts.
