SmartBuy glasses has come through every time for me. I have purchased five different pairs of glasses from them in the past four years. Even when my prescription was wrong they corrected it at no charge. Their prices are phenomenal they are half of what I would pay at my optometrist. The turnaround time is very short. If you have any reservations about using smartbuyglasses.com please do not they are fantastic!
Buyer Beware: My Terrible Experience with SmartBuyGlasses
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with SmartBuyGlasses. I mean, I'm not one to complain, but this company really took me for a ride. I ordered a pair of glasses and they filled the wrong prescription. Can you believe that? And then when I tried to get a refund, they just kept delaying and denying it. I mean, come on, it's almost $400 we're talking about here.
But that's not even the worst part. When I was checking out, I thought I was paying with my credit card, but it turns out I was actually signing in as a PayPal guest. And let me tell you, that really messed with my rights under my credit card. I had no idea what was going on.
And then they told me that if I completed a DHL courier slip, they would process my refund. But guess what? They never did. They just had me do that so they could put in a claim to DHL and collect money from them without actually giving me my refund. I mean, that's just shady.
And don't even get me started on their seller's protections with PayPal. They're just using that to scam people out of their money. It's really the worst online company I've ever dealt with. And to top it all off, they keep reporting negative reviews so TrustPilot takes them down. I mean, that's just not right.
So, if you're thinking about buying from SmartBuyGlasses, I would say buyer beware. This company is just plain dishonest and unethical. Don't waste your time or money with them.
SmartBuyGlasses Review: Are They Worth the Risk?
I gotta say, I ordered a pair of Oakley Bottle Rocket Sunglasses from SmartBuyGlasses in March 2020 and they took a hot minute to arrive. The site said it would take 11-5 business days for shipping, but it ended up taking over three weeks or 16 business days. I was starting to get antsy, but they finally arrived. The weird thing is that they were shipped from Hong Kong, even though the Oakley box they came in says assembled in the US. What's up with that?
Anyway, the site said free shipping, but then I got an email saying I had to pay the DHL fees, which was $50.00. I was nervous about it, but I clicked on their "shipping information" link and it said that international customers have to pay all duties and taxes, but they'll be reimbursed in a timely manner upon emailing the receipt. I submitted the receipt and they reimbursed me, so that was cool.
I also ordered the same pair from Sunglass Hut and I can't tell the difference between the two. I don't know for sure if they're not fakes, but I don't know for sure if the ones from Sunglass Hut aren't fakes either.
When I first checked the SmartBuyGlasses.ca site, I saw that they had a lot of sunglasses with a virtual try-on, which was pretty cool. I got a price for the Oakley Bottle Rockets of $207.00 CAD, which was more than the Oakley site or Sunglass Hut at $191.00 CAD. But then I searched Google for Oakley Bottle Rockets and found a link to SmartBuyGlasses.ca for $167.00 CAD. That was a little weird, but I took the chance and saved $24.00 CAD. Maybe not the smartest thing I've ever done, but I hadn't seen any negative reviews yet. If I had, I probably wouldn't have risked it. The next day, Sunglass Hut had the Bottle Rockets on sale for 30% off or $133.00 CAD plus tax, which came out to $156.00 CAD total.
So, my conclusion is that it's probably not worth the risk to order from SmartBuyGlasses. Some people have gotten fakes or haven't been reimbursed for the duties and fees. You decide.
Terrible Experience with SmartBuyGlasses: Incompetent, Dishonest, and a Scam
I had a really bad experience with SmartBuyGlasses. I wouldn't recommend buying from them. They even delete bad reviews!
I ordered my glasses 6 weeks ago and received 4 emails saying they were being delivered, then being made, then delivered, then in transit. When I contacted the store, they hadn't even started my order. They had lost my prescription and measurements. After I gave them my prescription and measurements again, they took another two weeks to send them to me (2 months since ordering). They didn't even get back to me, I had to keep asking them for updates.
When I finally received my glasses, they were sent to the wrong address! Luckily, a stranger contacted me to say they had a parcel for 'this person'. Not all customers would have a stranger call them to give them a parcel delivered to a random address. I had to call around and travel to pick them up. When I finally got them, I found that the frames were crooked and didn't sit straight on my face. The hinges were not installed correctly, so they didn't sit evenly. There were finger marks and dust all over the lenses (the package had not been opened by the people that incorrectly received my parcel). The lenses also had a dark brown tint (I ordered no tint and have written proof of this). Also, the frames are not genuine Prada, they are a knock off. They were sent from a random place in Hong Kong, not in their own branded packaging.
To make matters worse, the lenses were the incorrect prescription. I couldn't see through them. The correct lenses were thrown in separately and were not installed in the glasses. They were covered in finger prints, scratches, and chips. They looked second hand or severely mishandled. Even after I sent them photographic evidence of the defects, they still argued that the product was fine and used.
Overall, I think SmartBuyGlasses is incompetent, dishonest, and a scam. They are taking advantage of the online market. I am still waiting for a refund and for them to offer to cover the return postage. If I don't get a full refund in 48 hours, I will report them to online store scam investigators and the commerce authorities of the business country origin.
SmartBuyGlasses Review: Unprofessional, Counterfeit Products, and Terrible Customer Service
I recently made a purchase from SmartBuyGlasses and let me tell you, it was a huge mistake. I had read some reviews online and thought I was making a good choice, but boy was I wrong. This company has got to be the most unprofessional online merchant I have ever encountered since the World Wide Web began around 1991.
They offer a 100 day guarantee/return policy, which I thought was great. However, after receiving some eyewear from them that was simply not Tom Ford quality, I knew I had to exercise this option. The eyewear was absolutely counterfeit! But that was not my main concern. My focus after receiving this pair of imitation Tom Ford's was to just get my $300.00 back into my account.
I sent them an email, but they ignored it. I sent another email, but still no response. I was getting frustrated and just wanted my money back. I even begged them in one of my emails to not ignore me, but still nothing. Finally, after what seemed like forever, I got a response from a sympathetic employee at SmartBuyGlasses. They provided me with some assistance and a return form, which made me so happy just to have made a little progress.
If you opt for an exchange or refund, be prepared to send over a dozen emails. Expect to get a different representative, when they do finally respond that needs to hear your reason for the return all over again. You will be questioned, almost interrogated as to your reason for the return. Whatever you do, do not state that you believe they're imitations! You will need to provide digital pics.
Once you finally get the green light for the return process to begin, expect even longer delays. There was virtually no communication as to the whereabouts of my return once I mailed them out. You just have to sit, cross your fingers and wait. A worthy mention here, I had to pay for shipping!
After an excruciating return process, I finally received reimbursement. But wait, it gets better! I sent $307 to SmartBuyGlasses initially. My monetary reimbursement was in the amount of $262. After all this, I was shortchanged! Plus I paid for shipping.
Their favorable online reviews are most definitely phony, not a doubt in my mind. This is the eyeglass company from hell, worst online vendor I have ever encountered and I have been online shopping for decades. I do feel a little better now that I have vented and waited a long time to find the time to type this. I'm about $50 lighter and without new eyewear, but lesson learned. Don't do business outside of the USA. SmartBuyGlasses is a Hong Kong based company.
Disappointing Experience with SmartBuyGlasses: Delays, Confusion, and Misinformation
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with SmartBuyGlasses. I placed my order on the 14th, and it's been nothing but delays and confusion ever since. First, they wanted me to send a copy of my passport or pay with PayPal because I was sending the order to a different address. I wasn't too thrilled about that, but when I called to complain, they let me confirm the info and process the order as requested.
Then, on the 23rd, I got an update saying that the stock was confirmed and the order would be shipped within 8-14 days. But on the 29th, I got another update saying that it was delayed and could take up to 2 weeks to arrive from the distribution center, plus an additional 7-10 days for processing the prescription. And then on the 5th, I got yet another update saying that it was delayed and would take another 5-9 working days.
I called on the 9th to see what was going on, and they told me that it could take another 1-4 weeks because the distributor was "manufacturing" the glasses. I mean, seriously? They're advertising items they don't even have access to, and they lied about the stock being confirmed. And now they're saying they won't have the frames for up to another 4 weeks? It's just ridiculous.
When I asked the rep what "stock confirmed" meant, she said it meant the frames were still being manufactured but didn't guarantee availability. I told her they needed to stop asking the supplier if the frames were being made and start asking if they were available. If they're available, they're obviously still being produced, and if they're not available, they shouldn't be on the site at all.
I only bought from SmartBuyGlasses because I saw the frames I wanted for almost $200 less than at a local shop. But after all these delays and misinformation, I think I'd rather pay for the convenience of a timely transaction. I definitely wouldn't recommend shopping with this company, and I won't be taking this risk again.
I'll give them two stars for having quick and responsive online chats and a call center, which makes me feel like they're not a complete scam. But they really need to get their act together when it comes to fulfilling orders.

Smart Buy Glasses is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I spent many hours on both the phone and emails with them, trying to clear up a purchase which turned into a fiasco!
I ordered a pair of expensive Maui Jim sunglasses after I was told they were not a knock off and they would be delivered soon. Soon turned out to be way over a month of waiting for the glasses, which never came to fruition. Trying to get my money back took longer than it should have, and my money was tied up. I need to also mention that one of the employees promised me $20.00 towards my credit card for the long time period of not receiving my glasses, and the inconvenience the company caused me. This became an ongoing nightmare.
I told them in the beginning I would continue to wait for the glasses, their cost was lower than anywhere I had looked, and they were still giving me $20.00 additional. That was a big mistake! I kept waiting for the glasses and continued to phone periodically. I was told each time I called the glasses would arrive on a Thursday of the week, which never happened. That's when I began communicating with the service manager named who also stated they would honor the $20.00 as promised. By our third call she told me they would not be getting the glasses in, there was a problem, so I canceled my order. I expected the $20.00 and was told by she would have to talk to her manager who I also talked with and he was to get back to me and never did. Whenever I tried to phone *, the employees would make up excuses for her and say she was not available.
This was an ongoing lie, and a waste of my time. This company could never afford to pay me for all my valuable time spent with them, they are a disaster and I warn anyone thinking to purchase anything from them to think twice. BUYER BEWARE!
and I finally touched base and she told me her company would not allow her to go forward with paying me the $20.00, they would give me the $20.00 in the future towards another pair of their glasses. To me, this was a matter of principle, they owed me the $20.00 on my credit card. Smart Buy Glasses is a dishonest company towards their customers, and cheap!
I began searching again for my glasses which were harder to find with all the time wasted, but I ended up buying them at Nordstrom who were wonderful to me. They matched the price of this unprofessional company/Smart Buy Glasses. Thank you Nordstrom, a professional store who truly care about their customers!
SmartBuyGlasses Review: Company Refuses to Honor Warranty and Treats Customers Like Liars
I gotta say, if you're looking for a company that treats you like a liar when your glasses break, then SmartBuyGlasses is the place for you. I mean, seriously, they have no decency when it comes to refunding an honest person who can't explain why their glasses broke with normal use. I opened the arm like I always do and the metal hinge just snapped. I mean, come on, there must have been something wrong with the glasses to begin with, but this company won't honor their warranty. So, beware, folks.
To make matters worse, these glasses arrived with one hinge slightly tight. I didn't think much of it until they broke one day when I unfolded them like I always do. And get this, it took two whole months for the glasses to arrive, even though they were supposedly in stock. So, I had been using these glasses for less than a year when they broke. When I contacted the company, they said they would send me a part, but they never did. And then, they refused to honor their warranty by either refunding or replacing the glasses. I mean, what kind of company does that? They don't even honor the 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects that they advertise all over their site.

01/27/2015 (about the original glasses) "I realize that there is a metal inside of the arm from the hinge part to the end of the arm, considering the metal and the plastic covering on the metal should be very strong, that area can only be broke when an excessive force applies. From the photo of 6762, it clearly shows even the metal is broke, we would consider it's caused by mishandling of excessive force."
I mean, seriously, it just makes me so angry to think that you pay for a service and then they call you a liar. I'm sure that the break could have been caused by excessive force, but in my case, no excessive force was used. But SmartBuyGlasses refuses to believe me and they haven't done anything to honor their 24-month warranty or fix the situation that I reported two months ago.
As you can probably tell from the thickness of my lenses, I've been wearing glasses for a long time. In fact, I've been wearing them for 25 years. And in all that time, I've never had a pair of frames break so soon. It's just really unfortunate that the one time it did happen, it was with a pair of glasses that I bought from this deceitful company.

So, I went to the eye doctor to get a new pair of glasses. My old ones were way out of prescription, and I hadn't bought new ones in years. I found a pair I liked by Carrera, but the doctor wanted almost $400 for the frames and lenses. At first, I was worried because I read some bad reviews online, but I decided to take a risk and order anyway. SmartBuyGlasses.com Review: Terrible Experience with Foreign Transaction Fees, Shipping Delays, and Inauthentic Products
I had a really bad experience with SmartBuyGlasses.com when I purchased two pairs of Maui Jim sunglasses, the Kipahulu and Legacy models. Let me tell you, this so-called "legitimate" company is anything but. I had to contact their customer service because my bank charged me multiple foreign transaction fees and locked my credit card due to unusual activity. The customer service representative told me it was my bank's fault and I needed to contact them. But when I did, my bank said the fees were correct because the charge came from Gibraltar, Spain. SmartBuyGlasses had billed my purchase through one of their overseas locations instead of their US location. I had to send them my bank statement to get reimbursed for the foreign transaction fees. They promised to expedite my shipping and deliver my order within 2-5 days, but it took 5 days just to get the first pair of sunglasses.
When I contacted them again, I noticed that one of the pairs I ordered was now showing up on their website with the "Fast Shipping" option, which meant it should have been dispatched the same day. The representative said they could send it out that day, but I had to cancel and reorder. And guess what? The foreign transaction fee issue happened again, and I had to go through the same process to get another refund. They offered me an additional 5% discount on my purchase, but that was it. I finally received the "Fast Shipping" pair of sunglasses within 5 days, but the second pair didn't arrive until 1.5 months later. And here's the kicker: both pairs were shipped from Kennedy Town, Hong Kong, even though Maui Jim sunglasses are made in Italy. SmartBuyGlasses claimed they were able to offer such great pricing because they avoided having retail locations and the sunglasses came directly from the actual company. But that turned out to be a lie.
The Kipahulu pair had some unusual markings on the bottom side of the temple piece that I had never seen on any of my other Maui Jim sunglasses. And after wearing the Legacy pair for just one week, the writing on the inside of the temples completely came off. I contacted Maui Jim directly, and they told me that SmartBuyGlasses.com is NOT an authorized retailer of their products, that this is not typical of their products, and the glasses I purchased are not authentic. I tried to contact SmartBuyGlasses to resolve the issue, but they ignored me.
If you want authentic items and eliminate any problems, use an authorized retailer even if you have to pay a little bit extra. I will never use SmartBuyGlasses for any future purchases and will warn anyone from using this terrible so-called company.

Warning! Not a real honest compay
Like many other reviewers over on the web. This company is a scam.
They process your order and payment. Than you receive an email that the payment was flagged (is not) and ask you for photo id (do not do this!) or pay by paypall (do not do this).
The payment never is flagged, they make it up and you will see that he payment is just taken from your account. Calling your bank or credit card company will confirm that the payment never got flagged. If it was flagged, the order and payment would never got through.
Sometimes they email back, but the story is the same.. We will refund your payment (hey, i thought the payment was flagged, so how can you refund it ...?)
Stay away.

I have purchased glasses from www.smartbuyglasses.com and several days later I received an email stating that my frame was not in stock and that I have to choose another one. I really like the frame, so I went online and found the same one on another website, so I emailed SmartBuyGlasses and asked them to cancel my order, but received no response. I sent them messages almost every day, but they completely ignored me. I will never use them again.

I've ordered some glasses from SmartBuyGlasses because of their great prices. When my order finally arrived glasses were broken! I don't know who's fault that was and I really don't care. I contacted customer care and they said it was not their fault and told me to contact the shipping company. Absolutely ridiculous! Hello. I ordered glasses from SmartBuyGlasses over a month ago. They took my money but I received nothing yet. I sent them few messages and asked about the status of my order, but there was no response. I have no idea how to contact them. Checked their website, but could not find a phone number to call. Think twice before you decide to order something from this shop. I already contacted my credit card company and called the police. These people are thieves, they stole my money. I need help.
I returned glasses, but seller kept silence after that
I bought Boss Orange glasses from the company www.smartbuyglasses.ca. I recently got them, but the size was wrong. I decided to return them, but here all problems started. I contacted the rep, who told me that I needed to get the return number. I waited for this number 7 days. I bought glasses from www.smartbuyglasses.com.hk. These jerks provided the wrong lenses, so it was really difficult to use them. I called to the customer services, but at the beginning the rep refused to take them back or change. He spoke with me in rude manner and behaved like real jerk. After that I finally returned the glasses, but unfortunately I haven’t received anything from them afterwards. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?

I ordered branded and expensive glasses from the smartbuyglasses.co.uk. They charged me for £ 250, but after 2 weeks nothing arrived. I contacted the seller, which offered to wait for 5 days. But nothing, later it turned out that glasses are out of stock. And the seller will contact me about the status of my purchase. But no one called me back or sent email about the status of my order. Their attitude and communication with customers are so poor and unprofessional.

I sympathise. They are trying to make me pay import duties on my order, when I ordered it in South Africa for delivery in South Africa! And the shipping is free! I have no sunglasses and they have my money! They are stealing!

The sunglasses were sent in the wrong size, a scratch to one of the lenses and a non genuine Armani Case that did not stay closed. I received many time wasting email replies which bordered on being sarcastic and contradictory. If I had known that "SmartBuyGlasses UK" are based in HONG KONG I would have steered well clear as Trading Standards in the UK will not apply to Hong Kong. Non existent customer service but just smarmy emails designed to throw you off track and waste your time. Be advised to avoid these sharks, and I wonder how many of the five star reviews are put up by their very own staff? Still no refund received and don't be deceived by any smarmy reply from them thanking me for my patience and feedback...

I try to push asking about my order which is now pending for almost a month, I do check in their tracking system, it has shown swiching between, approve, discontinue and back order. That is confusing. Anyway that is not main problem, but what is there is no return of email for too long, as I though this is a harm site. I just want to know if my order is in process, or cancel then I could get a refund or waiting. I just need to know if my money still there, but until now I still dont have a clue.

I have had a very unpleasant experience with buying sunglasses from this site. I have lots of experience with internet shopping, but this is something I have never experienced! I came across this site that seemed great and sold sunglasses for 40% less than the shops. I ordered a pair of Guess sunglasses at the beginning of July. This has a South African website address and you are led to believe that you are buying sunglasses from South Africa and they say delivery will be within "5 to 11 working days" (so how could they come from overseas?). Well, 3 weeks after ordering and paying for my sunglasses I received a phone call from a courier company in Jo'burg asking me for my email address so that they could send me the invoice for the customs dues I have to pay for these sunglasses (around R170)! Now, I know that when one orders from overseas, customs dues and VAT is usually charged, but NOT when you are ordering from a South African website where there is NO mention on the site that you will be charged customs. This is illegal. I wrote to them (there is no phone number on the site) saying that I would not be paying any customs, and after a few emails they replied agreeing to pay it, but said it would take a while as they had to contact their "distribution centre" and it would be much quicker if I paid the customs and then emailed them the invoice for a refund on the customs. I was not going to pay out any more money so told them they would have to pay it and deliver the glasses to me. 10 days later and still no sign of the glasses, and the tracking website info had not changed - it still said "attempted delivery - consignee not at home" (this was because I refused to pay the customs). I then asked for an immediate refund for the sunglasses, but am still waiting. They said that they have to contact the distribution centre again to recall the glasses and then refund me. They don't have to contact the distribution centre to charge customers for their purchases, so why do they need to contact them for a refund? The replies I receive from them are certainly not from South Africa! Even if it is not a scam (which I'm beginning to think it is after reading so many other bad reviews), their service is disgusting and it is totally unacceptable that I haven't yet been refunded.

It has been the WORST service that I have ever experienced. I placed the order almost 2 months ago and though they said the service would take no more than 12 working days, I am still waiting for my glasses. they even told my that suppliers had the product on stock but they have been uncapable to deliver it (but totally capable to charge me the money the day after the purchase), they just have told me week after week during almost 2 months that I should wait longer. at the begining I was really patient becuase I wanted those glasses, however being wating for long time has gotten me really upset. This is the first time that such a thing has occurred to my regarding online purchasing; is a terrible service! specially when you consider that one of the most important services in on line purchases is the adequate delivery.
I strongly recommend you NOT to buy here at least you are patient enough to wait for a year.
I haven't received the refund or proof of the refund
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 3.19. On 3.21 the money was taken out of my account. On 3.27.12 I received an email saying my glasses were discontinued and asking me to choose a different pair. I didn't want a different pair and asked for a refund. I then received another email asking me to choose a different pair, to which I replied stating once again that I did not want a different pair, I wanted my money back. On 3.29 I was told the money would be back in my account in 3-5 days. On 4.10 I still didn't have the refund, contacted them and they said it was already processed. I contacted my bank (who never has a delay on anything-when they receive it, it's done) and was told they haven't received anything concerning a refund from SmartBuyGlasses! So I contacted SmartBuy again and they said they would send me proof of the refund on 4.13. It is now 4.17 and I haven't received the refund or proof of the refund and am going through my bank to do a dispute to get the money back. So this is a great website if you don't mind paying and getting nothing in return.

Very disappoint WEB-Site. Made my order, has been canceled by the company, and reaprooved again. Already send more than 10 e-mails, and until now no one respond me. Since 5 of April 2012, i request that my order to be canceled and a refund of my money, and until now, no answers to my e-mails or my money. My order is PT3040470365G...and nothing appens...since 03/29/2012 no one answers to my e-mails, neither the status of the order changes, from aproveed and in progresse...

We do strive to reply to emails within 24 hours however if you did not received an email there may be a possibility our response went to your spam folder (which happens from time to time).

Ok so here are my problems with this company. I wrote many emails and customer service doesn't seem to be moving...
1) I received my ferragamo glasses. Wow seriously? You are going to tell me that these are authentic (And I was told by customer service in an email) even though that their is no authenticity certificate? I asked for an address to return them and after 4 emails I still don't have it even though jerome from customer service took the time to copy and paste the return policy (Which to me really is extremely misleading... Big letters 'smartbuyglasses 100% satisfaction returns guarantee' and then in small letter exchange...in what world an exchange is a return?). So still no email with an address and its been 5 days since the 1st email asking for a return address.
2) I was supposed to get a 10 % discount. I got confirmation (Twice) saying that it will be applied and that I will see it on my visa statement. After 2 email confirmations fro, jerome again... Guess what still no credit!
What a sham. I might as well throw my glasses in the garbage as I cannot even sell them on ebay since I do not believe they are real! If you have a choice do not order from them.
deception & no product & no refund
Awful. Nearly 2 months after I placed an order, they sent me the wrong pair, refused to send me a return slip (all the while pretending that they will send it in 10 mins) and are basically holding on to my money. I was up for an exchange and was very understanding to begine with but since then, (nearly 2 weeks) NOTHING.
DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! YOU WILL BE CHEATED.

On February 11, 2010, I ordered Smith sunglasses and Oliver Peoples prescription glasses. On February 18th, I received an email informing me that the Smith glasses were not available and suggested that I choose another model from the list of "in stock" items on the Smart Buy Glasses website. I chose Persol sunglasses. I was sent a bill from SBG Optical Group to cover the increased cost of the Persol sunglasses. I paid the bill for $101 via Paypal.
I received an email issuing a refund for the original Smith sunglasses order on April 26, 2010, although I never received an email informing me that the order bad been cancelled. I've sent several emails to the customer service department asking for a refund for the extra I paid to substitute the Persol sunglasses for the Smith, but I've received absolutely no response. I attempted to file a complaint with Paypal, but Paypal only allows the consumer 45 days to file a complaint.
After waiting for months on end, I did receive the Oliver Peoples glasses on May 9, 2010. But, still no response from customer service regarding the refund for the Persol sunglasses.
I absolutely would not buy from this vendor again. There are several "Buyer Beware" complaints about this company on several websites. Please heed these warnings and consider other options when purchasing fashion eyewear.
I placed the order on the website www.smartbuyglasses.co.za 10 weeks ago, and I got only one confirmation email from them. Afterwards I received another email, where they told me that no payment was received from me. It was lie and ###. My payment was prompt and money went quickly. The rep informed me that they would ship it until I would provide them money. Total scam, so don’t buy from them and post comments about your experience with this company.

Scaming for ID & Proof of residence after taking payment
This is what they sent me after I waited for two weeks and never heard from them.

I CALLED MY BANK AND THEY ADVISED THAT WHAT IS ASKED FOR IS NOT CORRECT AND THAT THE PAYMENT HAD GONE THROUGH WITH OUT A PROBLEM AND THEIR ACCOUNT CREDITED THEIR REQUEST IS MORE LIKELY COLLECTING INFORMATION FOR IDENTITY FRAUD.
I ASKED FOR MY MONEY BACK - NO RESPONSE.

That is so bad! As of today, I'm skeptical that Smartbuyglasses even exists. I have spend one whole day sending emails regarding them trying, through their courier to make me pay customs duties! I ordered from South Africa for delivery in South Africa, and the parcel gets sent directly to me from Hong Kong with a bill for duties! I will not accept the sunglasses and will not pay duties for something I didn't import! I have never heard of such a thing! The worst thing is that I cannot get a response from any place. Not email, not Facebook. Nothing!
