I have been receiving phone calls from this company and until today no one says anything and the phone hangs up. I called the number back 2 times before I got an agent on the phone who was HIGHLY unprofessional, and got absolutely nowhere with the call.
Desired outcome: Your agents need a supervisor to mediate calls since anyone can work for this company and talk to people any way they feel.
Wasn't given any information/paperwork and electric power was shut off during transaction.
I went into a Metro store to purchase 2 phones on a family account. The customer service reps name was Jennifer, she persistently tried to explain this lease that she wanted me to purchase instead of buying the phones like I wanted to. She didn't really explain anything other then I could get 2 phones and only pay 103.00. She said that I could pay it all out right in 90 days. She didn't say I had to pay anything except $103.00 a month nor did she explain what could be paid off in 90 days. She made it sound like I only had to pay what was due 103.00, I assumed that was the monthly amount of the bill. Also the electrical power was cut off during the process leaving us in the dark with my 4 year old nephew. At Metro T Mobile they currently offer 5 different 5g phones for free for signing up with them. The same day $103.00 was taken out of my account, she gave me no paperwork and no information on how this lease thing works. I don't want anything to do with it bc of the way she handled and mishandled the whole situation. I went back to the store numerous times after that day bc the phones weren't working correctly and every time I tried to go back to the store it was closed. At the counter one of the phones wouldn't scan or work so she called someone and had another phone brought over after waiting well over an hour, closer to 2 hours. We were in the store over 4 hours with my 4 year old nephew. This transpired on March 24,2022 at the store located at 6204 Ridge Avenue Philadelphia PA 19128.
Also she put my name spelled wrong as Jeffrey Paprio instead of my correct name which is Jeffrey Papiro, I also find it strange that my bank would make a payment to a company on a misspelled last name, I will take that up with my bank.
Desired outcome: I would like to be removed from this lease, Noone ever heard of Metro leasing phones when they offer free ones for signing up. Please try to remove me from this lease before April 24th so I don't have to make another payment.

No issue with these people until they notified me my regular every other week payment of $46 would be deducted but they took $215 instead. When I called I was told and it was the end of my lease so it was 4 payments together. Which STILL doesn't equal $215? The lady I spoke with was rude as all get out. You all can work it out with Ally Bank. Another merchant did me like this and the outcome was in my favor. I got ALL the money back and merchant was blocked. So guess I will be getting the remaining payments for free. You screwed YOURSELF. A whole year. I never even called you all until today. Was a perfectly happy customer.

Just had this happen to me but I’m like 5 months early. They paid 316 out of my account. Scared to file a dispute because I don’t wanna lose service with my phone.
Their customer service is horrible
Smartpay is one of the worst leasing companies I've ever dealt with. My phone fell off my table and broke (with otter box on it ) so I was trying to use the insurance that come with the phone to get a replacement which I had to pay for then they insurance was supposed to send me the new phone. Needless to say I never got the phone but they have my broken one. I filed my claim in April of this year and still having problems with this company charging me for a phone I dont have. And I've tries several time to cancel my leasing . I did everything that asked me to do to cancel it and that isn't didn't work. And now they are trying to charge me for the cost of the phone lol . Would not recommend them to anyone
Desired outcome: I just want my lease canceled and my money back for the payments they took while I didn't have a phone .like they said they would do if I got the police report
Smartpay leasing/net 10
I ordered a phone from this company, Spent 4 1/2 days with on line chat reps to get the service going. On the final day I am told that Net 10 is having problems with Samsung A series phones connecting to a provider /towers. It was agreed that I could return the phone which I did and now they tell me I used airtime but the phone NEVER worked! How is this possible. This was the worst experience I have ever had with any business! They are refusing to give back he $60.63 cents they charged for the phone and service. Very shoddy customer services and customer satisfaction! I want my money back. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will continue to complain about this until the matter is resolved, Disgusting way to treat a Senior on a limited income!

Fraudulent account in my name!
I'm currently working on my credit and rebuilding it, to my surprise I see not only that an account was apparently taken out in my name but now it's showing on my credit report as collections! I have NO CLUE what this business sells, or deals with all I know is that I HAVE NEVER done ANY TYPE of business with them and now I have to work with my credit bureaus to get these people to remove MY NAME and MY INFO from this account! In the meanwhile...it dropped my credit score by 48 points and I'm pretty upset!

The service has been very uncooperative . I have had to call 5 times requested a supervisor was told hed call me back he never did. Everytime I call I'm told something different I was charged double and keep getting the run around. One I'd the employs I talk to was really nast disnt even want to get a supervisor he told me he would tell me the same
The company
This is the worst company to lease from, they make to pay almost the same price as the item, no one that can give a clear answer, you have to pay all they money before you even can pay for product. So if you know you can't pay it all in 90 days your can look forward to paying up to 10 months. Only thing I thank them for us giving me the chance to purchase the item when I real need them. I pray I never have to come back.

Took my money again!!!
My name is John Johnson and my straight talk number is [protected]. My phone will be off as if 2/10/2021 because smartpay took the money out of of my account again and said I was approved and then the next day cancelled my transaction and hasn't returned my funds! This has been going on for months! I have received pre-approved emails and when I apply they say I'm approved and take the money out of my account and then cancel my transaction. I get the same excuse from their support team and tell me to reapply. I was sent a defective phone which I returned back in September 2020. NOTHING has changed, same address, same debit card and my credit score has gone up! YET, they still claim they can not confirm my identity! They also took $17 months ago that I still have not received! They claimed they sent me a check for what reason I have no idea! The funds should have been returned to my card! They now owe me over $100 and I want my money!
Desired outcome: I WANT MY $117.67!

2 phones, 30 months, both contracts paid in full and paid before the contract was actually up. Started with iphone 7, then went to the xr, now, the 12 is out, and smart pay is not covering this model - but not only are they not offering lease options, they have denied me after I have been a customer for 30 months - "please reapply in 7 days" what the hell is that about - 7 days, you are unable to approve me today, but please reapply in 7 days - I will tell you what you can do in 7 days, you can kiss this [censored]!
Not receiving my phone
I ordered a lease phone from straight talk nov.28th. I was approved and charged and also payes for next day delivery. I still havent received my phone.
Phone lease
This company is so trash I did a Lease about a year ago, and made my payments except for once because my bank card was compromised. So I informed them in a week I should have my other bank card coming in and would make the payment. After a week I did make my payment when I got my new card from my bank. They still sent me to collections and wont do anything to fix it. This is complete [censored] and they want me to deal with the debt collector when it was their fault for screwing up. I already made my last payment on the phone. Also I am still using my phone today and they have not shut it off like they said they would if I didnt make a payment. This literally dropped my credit score a good 20 points. If I were you stay away from this POS company and use paypal on ebay to make payments on your cell phone
Phone lease
I ordered a phone from Stright Talk in April of 2020. Aside from the fact that they were charging me twice the amount each month that they originally quoted me, I was also sent a defective, worthless piece of junk tech. It worked fine for 3 months, but then crashed and became unresponsive out of nowhere. I know for a fact this phone was never dropped, exposed to extreme temperatures or gotten wet. I've always taken exceptionally good care of anything I've paid for, especially phones. I contacted SmartPay about getting a replacement but they said they couldn't help me, I'd need to call Samsung. Samsung told me the phone is under warranty for 1 year, but I would have to go through my service provider to get a replacement. I called Straight Talk and they were quick to throw the burden back on SmartPay, saying it's their responsibility as the leasing company because of the contract between the two. I call SmartPay again and tell them what I've been told so far. They get on a conference call with Straight Talk while I'm on the line and decide my issue would have to be pushed up to a supervisor. They promised to call me with a resolution within 24 hours. 72 hours go by and I call again since they failed to reach out to me. Again I'm told they'll have to get a supervisor to weigh in and, once again, they assure me they'll call me back, but this time within 48 hours. They failed to meet their own deadline once more. After numerous additional calls and emails I sent to their customer service address, the resolution they finally came up with was to offer me a $20 discount off of the phone's pay off amount. They completely neglected their duty when it comes to customer service and did so in such a way that I'm entirely convinced that this company is nothing but a scam. I had no choice but to pay off the overpriced phone to prevent these liars from impacting my credit. Now I go way out of my way to tell everyone I can to avoid these people like the plague. If you don't want to end up paying more than double what a phone is actually worth, and you want to have some peace of mind that the phone will be replaced if there's a manufacturer's defect, stay far away from this group. They deserve to be shut down.
Leasing a phone
I lost my phone on August 31st. I ordered a replacement for lease from my phone company covered by Smart pay. The website is horrible and would not allow me to complete payment after my approval. I finally called a representative that decied to give me false information and hope. He told me that the order was a pre approved and I have to wait 3 days for approval. Now I'm on the phone being told my order has to be cancek8 which takes up to 3 days and tried again. I am beyond annoyed they are very unprofessional. I'm on hold for over 20 mins waiting for a manager. Not worth it. Use anywhere else
I paid off my phone early $104.96 just turn around and get a new phone and spend another $76.07and spend another 76.07 for a new phone and a $45 card and it said one to two business days day number two I'm waiting now my old phone that I have that is broken needs more time on it and I don't have the money because I just spent all this money on it and I don't get my new phone for another 3 to 5 days ridiculous absolutely ridiculous I am so disgusted and so disappointed.. I had the mobile protect on my phone and somehow it disappeared and they wouldn't even fix my old phone it's all I had to pay it off ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous

I used to be a customer, then I fell on hard times... I called and explained to a rep and they gave me the information for my account that went to collections. So I called and paid off my debt, I was told by two different reps that I could re-apply and that I was guaranteed approval once again, well I applied and got denied. I called to speak to the manager 2 times and was told that its too bad but we are sorry "the system cant be overridden" bologna! Everything can be foxed and overridden especially when it comes to new clients. I was lied to and I don't appreciate it,, liars and scammers!
