timing, rude, overcharging
Columbus, Ms - Sonic Drive-In, 4/21/18 ticket #441391
I work at the hospital 3rd shift (12am-7am), I went to get my co workers and myself lunch for the night. I tipped the guy even the though my order wasn't large, I still tipped. I said "May I please have some extra marinara?" he says sure, goes on to the next car (which was fine) then goes inside then back to another car. Keep in mind I have been waiting awhile already. So I push the button and ask if I can have my receipt and the marinara she asks several times to repeat finally she comes out and asks again, I tell her what I need, she says sure... well my original carhop brings out my receipt and says oh uh marinara is.25$ Seriously? I just tipped you and you cant even bring me a lousy marinara? My problem is that I was told 2x already"sure you can have some" and never once told I would need to pay for it. I also had to pay full price for my shakes. The sign says after 8pm 1/2 price shakes. Does it also say until 12am? If not lets squeeze that in there guys! if it does and it was just too little to read let MAKE IT BIGGER! Finally my last complaint is charging me for wanting ranch and marinara with cheese sticks!

I threw the ticket away prior to leaving the establishment; therefore, I don't have further information to submit. I'm not interested in a refund but the staff should be informed and take steps to prevent this from occurring. I work in the food industry as well and know that food temps should be monitored regularly.

no one answered for my order for 40 mins
On Thursday April 19th 2018 I went to cherryvale sonic expecting to make a 40 dollar purchase and tip no one would answer the intercom. I pushed the button 3 times and it sat until it asked me to push it again so I went through the drive through still nothing I saw people who worked there standing outside when I pulled in worst customer service ever and there was only one other car in the parking lot might I also add I have spent a decent amount of money at sonic but I don't think I'll be putting my money into the hands of those who don't want it
burger burnt for dinner meal!
My daughter went to Sonic drive in to order our dinner. She placed the order and after 10-15 minutes had not received it. She called back on the speaker to find out what happened with our order. After a few more minutes, the order came, she paid, and left for home. After approx 1 hr, I called to see what was taking so long?! She thinks that they forgot or became distracted. I work grave shift and do not eat past 6pm. When I opened my burger, it was burnt with black particles on it. I immediately called the restaurant but no one answered. I decided to take the burger back that morning when I got off work. I took it back and asked for mgr, a pregnant lady said she was one. I explained briefly what happened and she took the burger in to look with other employees looking at it. I also had given her my receipt. She said just a minute and came back with a burger in the bag. I told her I didn't want it, I would like a refund. She consulted with someone else and said since it was a combo and I didn't bring fries and drink, I could not get a refund. I told her to keep it! I was the victim, I was trying to order and eat a decent meal before midnight! I went without a burger, couldn't reach them that evening, took the burger back that morning but couldn't get a refund cause I didn't have the drink and I ate some of the fries! The fry carton was in bag with a few fries. The point is, I was given poor quality food, burger with burnt grill scrapings, told no refund . I was not offered a coupon for a later date to dine! I wasn't hungry at that time, I was hungry the night before! I was a fast food mgr for 15 years, at that time we cared for customers and attempted to comply, especially when we messed up an order!

Tonight i had my 6 year old son with me, and HE even asked "why are they fighting?" The two girls today were screaming a few inches from each other and in the window area. This is unacceptable. Your staff lacks any customer care and it continues to happen. There were 4 employees standing around as I waited for The cashier to give me my correct change and get any of my order. I called the store 3 times since then because my ice cream was melted and it just rang and rang.

Just started going to Sonic in Hazel Green, AL they never get my order correct! I called asked for a manager and some kid (Zack) said he was the manager, well I was trying to explain what happened but he was to busy talking to everyone behind him! Dairy Queen is where I will be going!
over charging
The menu shows a charge if $6.79 for a #1 med. cheeseburger meal. They also had a half price on cheeseburger's on Tuesday, tax day. We ordered 2- #1's, 1 with a med tots and med come. I was charged $8.37, less $2.25 for the half price. The second item ordered was also #1 with onion rings and a medium coke. I was charged $9.87, less $2.25 for the half price burger. Neither one of these items ordered started out with a price of $6.79 as stated on the menu!
I spoke to the manager and he said that they have obviously not updated their prices on their menus. He offered to give me another cheeseburger rather than comply with charges as they were posted on the menu.
I am seeking a refund for the over charge .
lack of service
Went to this location to get a single shake for myself. I pressed the button to order and was told multiple times to "hold on" "try again in two minutes" and "just wait." I have seen them much busier as there were only 10 cars in the stalls and I was not even able to put an order in for one shake. I waited about 20 minutes total over this process and will definitely go someplace else when I want a shake, which is the only reason I go here.
breakfast burrito/junior
The eggs inside of my breakfast burrito were hard. I've never had hard eggs before. I've never made a complaint either. To jr. Breakfast burritos and the eggs were hard. Most terrible thing I've ever tried to eat. I've already took them apart and threw them in the trash. I do realize that there is a picture thing at the bottom of here. I probably won't even go back to this Sonic to submit a picture. So gross. And so disappointed.

I worked at sonic for 4 days, this was my first job. My second day there I had someone physically touched me and rip my headset off of me as I was taking orders and they had no kind of verbal warning or any consequence for their actions. I buy a hamburger and between 1 and 4 large iced tea every day. Your manager here is a mumbler and talks very, very fast. It's difficult to understand him even on a quiet day. The last three days we've had a 40+ mph wind, which makes it even harder. In addition, he seems to be understaffed and there's quite a wait at the drive-through.
When I've waited to order for more than 5 minutes, I drive up to the window.
I've done that yesterday and today (at 10:50 am); both days, the manager looked right at me, sitting patiently at the order window, then took the order of the person behind me at the speaker.
There isn't going to be a third time. I went to another shop to get my late breakfast and tea, and will continue to do so.
messed up order
Our order was messed up with multiple food items incorrect and messed up multiple times. When we finally got one of the items corrected, the correct was still wrong. My fiance and ordered a number three and received a number four the first time. The second time it was incorrect again but with an number one. Another item in our order that was messed up was my ice cream. I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough master blast and received a peanut butter blast. When we brought this to the car hops attention she told us that the was simply what the cookie dough syrup tasted like.

For the last month you have to wait twenty minutes on drinks. If you would like a meal you might as well get ready for 30 minutes at least. Tonight I try to stop and get some 99 cent cheese sticks that is advertised on the big led display. Only to be treated like an idiot an told man we have been out of them for a long time. So when I ask for a complaint number I am told to look on the menu it's somewhere on there. Then the manager says it don't matter no way everybody tries that!

This has happened several times so I don't have the exact dates, except for 4/12/18. When I place an order for a drink only I do not receive a receipt, the carhop always say I'll have to go back and get for which they do not return with the receipt . It is my belief they should always give the customer a receipt. I think that it has a coupon for a free Route 44 in which they are keeping for them selves.
Also this one particular location has stopped offering the Pretzels, while the other restaurants within the area are still offering them. I don't understand this at all. They didnt carry them for very long either.

04/12/20108 At 2:25, worker 32 Yazmin, CHK 431. I was at Sonic at the drive through window. Yazmin was the employee on duty. I ordered 2 drinks, and when I got to the window was given one. I told her there was an error, and instead of getting me the additional drink which would have taken less than a minute, she instructed me to go back through the drive through to get the other drink. This is the 3rd time that this sonic has made an error on my order. I own a medical clinic, and use sonic frequently for employees as well as open houses. But this sonic is amazing in their ability to put in orders incorrectly. I am complaining at this point, as I was shocked that she would not simply give me the drink and correct the charge. The customer should be priority, and obviously this is not the case for this location. This makes the entire franchise look unprofessional, and something should be done to look into this matter as it is obviously recurrent. I don't plan to go back there, as there are 5 fast food restaurants in the area that give much better service
nepotism.
I work at store 6453 in Lubbock Tx. My boss has hired her daughter, and her son, they are allowed better privileges than any other employee. I have recently found out that she is paying her daughter way more than anyone else, and shes only a carhop. Shes the only regular employee that is constantly getting over time without getting hours cut. She is making $10.45/hr and I'm in a position above her and only making $9/hr. Her kids are always allowed free food/icecream and the rest of the employees are not, even if we lost our discounted meals, they still get free food and they dont have a limit as to what they can get.

I went to the sonic in Paul's Valley Ok located on 2505 W Grant 73075 it was honestly the worst experience I have ever had at any fast food restaurant. I went and ordered One slush and that was it.. I waited for 45 minuets for one slush, when I got there, there was only one other vehicle there, the got their food about 15 minuets into my wait when they had already ordered before I got there, I also noticed they punched out my order right after they had taken the person next to me their food so I just assumed I was next, another 15 minuets go by and I still had not received my ONE slush, after they had already punched it out and said they were on their way to my car with my order. Since I had been sitting there waiting 30 minuets for only one slush and nothing more and also being the only car their I decided to just ask for my order back. I pushed the button and a lady answered and yelled "what" as loud as possible, I sat there for a moment confused on why she was yelling and I finally asked her if I could just have my money back that I needed to get going and didn't have time to wait for the order. She paused for about 2 minuets and finally came back on in a laughing yelling manner and told me to repeat what I had said so I repeated it, she kept just yelling "what!" To me acting as if she couldn't hear me but I know she could considering I was the only car and there was absolutely no loud noises around and she was laughing at me. By this time I was upset and she told me she didn't want to give me the refund she would just make me my slush. (Which is weird due to the fact they had already clocked my order out and I was the only car sitting out there so I'm assuythey just forgot about me). The girls name was MIKAYLA JONES, employee ID #177. She was the rudest person I have ever experienced before. And this is not the first time.. everytime I have had her she has been extremely rude and makes me feel rushed and like she just hates having to wait on me. I have kept the receipts with her name on them before as well and have kept this one from this experience, I have heard how extremely hateful she is to anyone else I have talked to about this even my husband says each time she is his car hop she is hateful. I told her I did not want the slush only the refund 15 minuets after my 30 minute wait already she finally brought my the slush which was completely melted and liquid which is a waste for a slush considering I do NOT want it watered down and nasty, she then threw the receipt at me and told me it "would be on there in 7days" and walked away not saying another word not even an apology. My family and I will not be returning to sonic and I will let people I know to do the same. Nothing has ever been resolved about her and how rude she is. I truly hope something is done about this, it is Adams having someone like this work at a place where it is important to be friendly to customers.

My girlfriend received a slush that was liquid. When we called a manager out he argued that it was the way all slushes are. I know this is not true because my girlfriend gets the same slush 4-5 times a week. We finally asked for a refund because of the rudeness of the manager. After a long wait the manager sent out a young male employee with all pennies. The kid was to scared to hand them to me so as he tossed them into my hand while running away half of them fell to the ground. I was tired of dealing with the immaturity so I left at after that.

Our location seems to have trouble opening on time & having enough staff to open or run the location. Today specifically I attempted 2 times to get a large sweet tea (my favorite drink ) I try to purchase this daily but on both attempts it was unsuccessful. The first attempt the one & only employee was standing outside the unopened store waiting & the second the same employee was running the whole store alone & the lady in the stall next to me said it took 24 mins yo get her drink. Needless to say I left empty handed again. I just want a large sweet tea to start my day each day (my favorite sweet tea).

I am wanting to complain about the location in Liberty Texas. The management is very rude to the employees. The employees are rude to each other. When you try to place an order they are either yelling at you about your order or they take for ever to even answer. There is only a few people on the day shift that I will even take my order from because everyone else is rude.

Aaron fisher has been making sexual comments to my daughter grabbing her in an unwanted way that makes her feel uncomfortable she has talked to management but they refuse to do anything since they are already short staffed if someone could please take action on this so my daughter can continue to work at sonic as its her first job and doesn't want to have to quit because of him thanks for your time
