On June 9th, I went to SpeeDee Oil Change & Tune Up to get my car's oil changed. However, when I picked up my car, I immediately noticed a leak. This was unusual because my car had never leaked before. Concerned, I decided to take my car to my mechanic friend for further inspection.

To my surprise, my friend informed me that the oil had not been changed at all. Additionally, he discovered that the excessive amount of oil in my car was the cause of the leak. In fact, there were over 5 quarts of oil over the recommended level. It is the responsibility of SpeeDee Oil Change & Tune Up to change the oil, and yet they didn't even bother to check the oil level. If they had, they would have realized the oil was overfilled.

Changing oil is their primary job, and they couldn't even do that correctly. As a result, they are at fault for damaging my car. I expect them to take responsibility for their mistake and fix the issue promptly.

I went to the shop on 5/27/22 for a transmission flush. After a few hours, I started driving and noticed a jolt every time I came to a complete stop. I checked the transmission oil on flat ground and it was low. Since the shop was closed, I went back on 5/28/22 to let them know about the issue. The person there insisted that it was my car's fault and not their mistake. I told them that my car was fine before I came to their shop and pointed out that the fluid was low. They checked and indeed it was low, so they filled it up. However, when I checked it again on flat ground, it was still low. I decided to get a second opinion from a trusted mechanic. He agreed with me that the fluid was low and that they used the wrong transmission fluid for my car. The dipstick clearly states which fluid is needed. I ended up buying the correct fluid and will be changing it today, 5/28/22, when my boyfriend finishes work. We only went to the shop because we didn't want to do it ourselves. I have pictures from the first day they did the flush and pictures from the second time. I would like a full refund as they clearly can't handle transmission flushes. The pictures show that the fluid should be filled to the middle line between the two dots, which is why that line is there in the first place. The dipstick itself states this. I have attached a picture of the dipstick, but you'll need to zoom in since it's not very clear. I have also attached a picture of the new transmission oil that I bought to complete the job.
