Returned flight from PR to FLL cancelled while traveling with 6
Hello, I traveled to PR with my family of 6 (one who is disabled) to celebrate my Bday. On our day of departure 8/2 we were greeted by airport officials to let us know that ALL of Spirit's staff, agents, personnel walked out of the job due to a strike. The only option offered was to call Spirits 1800 number and find a solution. Wait time was over 5 hours. Airlines did not have any available flights on that day and prices were out of my reach the following day forcing us to stay a total of two more nights in PR. These two days cost me an astronomical amount that I cant afford. I have had to borrow money to make ends meet. I sent a complaint along with backup for all unplanned expenses thru their website and via FEDEX demanding a full monetary refund of $ 3, 330.77.(Total expenses for two days for 6 individuals was $ 4, 427.51 less a miserable vouchers by spirit of $ 1, 096.74 ). I have yet to hear from Spirit.

Unauthorized charges to my credit card
On 8/4/21 I got a credit card charge for joining the Spirit Club. I did no such thing. I can reach no one to resolve this fraudulent charge for 69.95. This company acts like a criminal operation. They are completely insulated from response to fraudulent charges. This is theft- plain and simple. The company should be shut down.

Advantage program
I found a recurring charge of 16.99 a month since back in 2019 because that is as far as I can see on my credit card site. Then I found a second one for the same amount and when I called the number, they were both connected to spirit airline as TLG*GREATFN and TLG*SHOPPER so I know they have gotten me for over 815.00 and maybe more. If you look at their website, it says that it is a 9.00 a month charge to join so why 16.99? or actually 34.00 a month! Here is information on their website which demonstrates 9.00 [3.4. At the completion of the original enrollment period, Members will be automatically charged an annual fee of $69.95 for annual membership in the Club. Such annual fees are nonrefundable, not withstanding Member's cancellation of membership in the Club.]

Can't get a refund for a flight cancelation
I have a reservation credit with Spirit airlines, from a flight the was affected by COVID quarantine protocols at the destination I was traveling to in 2020. According to Spirit, the credit must be used by Dec 31, 2021. So I booked a flight for December 2021. When I get to the payment page on their website, I enter my reservation credit code and entered my credit card information to cover the difference of the new fares. The website charged the full amount of the flight on my credit card and didn't use my credit. I call Spirit customer service to cancel the flight (because they only refund a cancellation made less than 24 hours from the date the reservation was made) and speak to a representative. I advise her of what happened regarding the charge to my card and ask her to cancel the flight. She says that she would and needed to transfer me to another agent, to help me with my credit. The call transfer dropped and. I called two days later to try and resolve the issue again and am informed that the flight was not cancelled by the agent and I cannot get a refund. I can only receive yet ANOTHER credit, minus a cancellation fee. I am advised to contact Spirit at the "Help page" on their website. I write my complaint email and informed that I may get a response in 60 days!
Desired outcome: I want a refund for the second reservation and use my original credit for a flight.

Carry on bags
They charged me $65 for a modest size roller bag as a carry on. They sent an email about their policy in advance but I read it as applying to checked bags. I saw a sign in the terminal saying "Did you pay for your carry on?" I checked with the attendant wanting to cooperate. Then when she quotes the fee my jaw dropped. A helpless feeling to be gouged and have no choice but to pay. It felt deceptive.
Desired outcome: Refund.
Cancelled flight and no refund to date
My flight was canceled by the airline on 8-5-2021. Was not put on another flight, just cancelled. I have not received my money back. They were so kind to offer a 50.00 future flight credit, but my ticket costed 85.00. Any other flight for that day were of course 200.00 or more. My daughter missed her 1st day of her new job due this mess. I would never book with them again, but my money should have been put back on my card as quick as that flight was cancelled! I received an unauthorized credit card charge for $18.09 on July 26, 2021. The charge was "Spirit Airlines on board Irving Texas. I do d not authorize this charge and have not been to Texas. I would like you to refund this money ASAP. I flew with you guys from Detroit to Orlando in the beginning of the month. I have no explanation of this charge and I sincerely hope your company isn't fraudulently charging cards. I would like this resolved Asap

Unauthorized charge on my credit card
I was charged 69.95 and didn't authorize this. This transaction is currently pending on my account with a payment date of 7/27/21. I need this refunded immediately. I'm a single mom of 3 on a low income and can't afford unauthorized charges. I'm on disability and unable to work at this time. This is poor customer service to say the least! I've not flown on Spirit Air in years. I need the refund ASAP so that I can pay my bills. Remove me from your customer list immediately.

Hello my name is Laketa, my last flight with you guys i purchased 2 bottled water(Dasani) for total $6. From then Spirit has been trying to take $6 since . Reservation credit
Spirit Airlines changed my reservation TWICE rendering me stranded as well as returning home a day later which would not work. I had to cancel the flight due to the changes THEY made. They gave me a "reservation credit." Now they won't let me use it! The reservation credit page specifically says it can be used for vacation packages. I tried to book a hotel through their site. When it didn't work, I opted for the chat feature. This is a nightmare in itself. One hour later, all I have is that I can not use my credit for a hotel room. I explained that the reservation credit explanation page actually says that I can. They asked for a screenshot. I gave them the screenshot of THEIR OWN PAGE ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE. They still refused to allow me to use my credit voucher for it. Further, when I researched other options for vacation packages, there were no rental cars, so I couldn't go that route either. I then was given a number to call. There is no option to talk to someone. I was routed to an automated response regardless of the option I chose on the phone, and this is the kicker... THEN, I get a TEXT while I am still on the phone! They literally route you to TEXT with an automated service because the automated phone service apparently isn't automated enough. CRAZY. There are time limits to using the credit as well. VERY UPSETTING as I have to book SOMETHING by end of September. I only got the voucher a few weeks ago and my kids start school on Aug 9. Also... we're in a pandemic! I seriously feel like they just stole my money! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
Desired outcome: Let me use my credit voucher for a hotel or refund me! There are literally NO Roundtrip flights available before school starts anywhere spirit flies from my home airport. There are also no rental cars!.

Charged for no reason
I recently came back home on a flight from mco and was charged a bag fee, when previously I didnt have to pay for my bag from dfw to mco then from mco to philadelphia, on the way back I didnt have to pay for my bag from philly to orlando, but when I wanted to board the plane from orlando to dfw, this [censored] of an agent named kyree, and this other woman, I would like them fired, they have no business working with people, very rude and unprofessional especially that kyree kid! It was flight number nk 2963, it was on june 9th, he also told me my military id was no good, I am also a retired disabled veteran

I flew From Cancun to orlando,
before taking off, I fell sleep. when we landed on orlando I tried looking for my bag which had my passport, wallet, laptop, phone charger. A flight attendant told me that they removed a passenger and thought that my bag was his, so they left it in Mexico,
same flight attendant left and didn't even told his supervisor, which basically left me stranded on immigration with no way of confirming my story.
I explained my story to the officers and after several hours, and when they saw that I had all of my travel documents in order ( on their system), were kind enough to help me get a hold of a supervisor from the airline, nobody from the airline even dare to talk to me, they spoke as If i didn't exist between supervisors.
at this point I got an especial permit to stay in the states for a couple of days, So they took me to Spirit airlines counter, and after several back and forth they said that they where trying to get a hold of mexico's spirit branch and they couldn't because it was on another country so they couldn't do anything, so I had to call myself and check if by any chance they had my bag hoping that the passenger that didn't take the flight didn't take my bag.
I found out they in fact had my bag back in Cancun (this is 5 hours after I landed)
So I got their assurance that my bag will be tomorrow at my hotel (of course it didn't arrive the next day)
so then I needed to figure out what I was supposed to do, in a foreign country with no passport, no money, no credit cards, no anything, the supervisor didn't even offer to get me to the hotel where I was staying, so when I asked for help, she told me that she needed to check with a manager
which got me furious, how come a manager is not in front of me, apologizing and figuring out how to solve the problem that one of her co-workers made!
I asked to fill a report, they changed the subject and told me that It was my fault for not claiming my bag while I was sleep.
I have never in my life felt so neglected, helpless and frustrated! nobody from the airline took a second to help me.
after Covid you would think that airlines would care a little bit more of their customers, sadly it is not the case.
the orlando branch didn't even contact me to tell me that my bag arrived, they send it through a 3rd party and it arrived at 1AM they day after they said it was supposed to arrive.
in the end I was grateful that my passport in wallet was there, so I could go back to my home.
It was absolutely a horrible experience, that I wouldn't even wish for the guy responsable to experience!
I hope that this story in some way sheds a light on how terrible is their customer service, and how nobody on their airline tried to help me!

Why am I getting charged for $21 from Irving tx?.. it says $21 for on-board flight from Irving TX today 5/31/2021.. the last time I flew with was last month 4/26-4/29 2021... why am I being charged?... im disputing this charge.. I called customer service and they have no idea what im talking about, I was informed to have my bank handle the dispute because they can't help .. spirit airlines is skimming credit card #'s and stealing from unknowing customers.. I will be informing the bank, police and local news.

I flew with you guys 05/11/21 I booked online. Paid for seats for round trip I get to the kiosk I had to pay for seats again mind you you cannot book a flight on line without buy a seat. The lady gave me a card said to call this number which I did no working number I have called multiple times since then everyone gave me a non working number and brushed me off as they could not assist me this has been going on since 05/11 still to this day no avail. Then you have to pay for carry on which is only $5 less than non carry on then both destinations gave the wrong carousel to pick up luggage waiting an hour just to be told we received wrong information sorry. Then some joke to we arrived at the pearly gates but not the one in the sky you know how terrifying that is for non regular flyers? It is not cute. The flights are so ghetto and not very nice at all. Not helpful and the charges to pay online and at kiosk I need my money. I would truly like someone to get in touch with me, I am not going to stop this is really ridiculous I had to keep googling different sites just to find this very uninformational

I booked a flight out of Newark to PBI on march 2nd 2021 via cheapoair. Spirit airlines Flight NK1190 for may 5th..returning may 19th flight NK1191. I had a 150.36 credit #FDQJKJ from Spirit which had to be used by feb 10, 2021. The total out of pocket for that flight for Raul Vega and myself (Rita Ann Voigt) was 0 since the tickets only cost 89.60. On april 5th I purchased a 14 day parking groupon for 196.00 to save money at value park (parkwhiz) near the airport. On may 5th We traveled to value park and parked the car and were shuttled to the airport, only to find out the flight had been canceled on Mar. 4th. No email was sent to me not by spirit or cheapoair. There were no other flights to florida that day at all and we returned home. Tolls alone cost over 17.00. Value park charged me 1 day (19.59) and said i would get a refund. I have made numerous calls to cheapoair and spirit requesting help and reimbursement w/out a satisfactory response. Cheapoair says spirit never notified them of the cancellation, spirit says they did send them an email and it was their responsibility but they cannot provide me with a copy of that email..so there's no proof who was at fault. Bottom line is this..I came home and booked a flight out of AC international to PBI and out of pocket cost me 257.60 Flights 2600 and 2601 May 7th to May 21, 2021 still using the 150.00 credit voucher. Confirmation code DG3PQT. Additionally, Parking cost 150.00 in economy area. I feel i am entitled to some reimbursement for this hardship not only for the time and money but because i am wheelchair bound and it caused me so much pain and suffering! After numerous hours on the phone and computer with groupon, cheapoair and spirit airlines I have gotten 176.00 in groupon bucks and a promise of 30.00 from cheapoair (not yet recieved).
