I spent a whole evening and I couldn't get their software to work, so I emailed them to cancel. I realized I was still getting billed a month later, so I tried to cancel my subscription on their website. From my laptop, it says I don't have a subscription. From my studio computer, my account shows that I have an active subscription, yet with no credits to use the software. I followed the websites "how to cancel", but it just keeps telling me to start a subscription... They don't have a contact phone number either. I've now paid for two months and I haven't used it and there's no way to cancel!

Splice Deceptive billing or outright fraud

Deceptive billing or outright fraud. The company says they have a "trial period" without billing on their paid service, but it doesn't include most of the things you'd want to try. If you try to access non-trial stuff, they upgrade you out of the trial and bill you right away, no warning or confirmation. Other businesses usually ask if you're sure before charging. They also don't have a refund option for accidental charges when you haven't used the service, which is pretty standard for subscription sites. I did get a refund in this case, but I had to deal with customer service (and threaten to stop payment). The response was slow, with useless automated emails at first, and then condescending. Their library seems interesting, but their business practices are not.

Constantly billed over and over, takin hundreds every month when I was told I'd be billed once a month. It's really frustratin and confusin. I signed up for Splice thinkin it was a good deal, but now I'm regretin it. The website itself is okay, but the billin process is a mess. I tried contactin customer support, but they didn't help much. They just kept sayin it was a mistake and that they'd fix it, but it never got fixed. I ended up cancelin my subscription cause I couldn't afford it anymore. Overall, not a great experience.

Splice So, I accidentally got this app called Splice

So, I accidentally got this app called Splice. I canceled the trial when I saw that they were charging me for it. But guess what? I'm still getting charged every week, and it says it's coming from my ***. But when I asked ***, they said I'm not subscribed. I even unsubscribed from iTunes, but they're still taking my money every week!

Splice be trickin' customers, tryna make 'em think they gettin' a weekly deal but really it's a whole year's worth of cash they takin'. I signed up for the weekly plan and then they hit me with a 70 dollar charge for the whole dang year! That's more money, man! It's straight up crazy and I ain't the only one who got caught up in this mess. They better fix this mess right now and give me my money back ASAP. Spreadin' false promises in the market ain't right, they need to be called out on this!

I signed up for a free trial, but I didn't like the software, so I clicked the cancel button and explained why I didn't want to continue the subscription. However, I was unexpectedly charged $80. I'm not wealthy, and this took away all the money I had for food in the upcoming days. I clearly said no, but you still charged me. This feels like a scam. Please refund my $80. Splice, you claim to be a music producer software, but don't pretend you're innocent. You should feel ashamed.

Splice took away all my splice credits cuz I couldn't pay for two months cuz I lost my job. I had a bunch of splice credits and now they're all gone cuz splice canceled my account. Either give me back my credits or give me a refund for all the months I paid the monthly fee and all the money I spent on Serum, Thermal, and Movement. If you don't fix this right away, I'm gonna take it to small claims court.

I signed up for a 30-day free trial that came with my Launchpad, but ended up getting charged. I emailed TheBusiness because they don't have a customer service number to call. They charged me $139.99. After waiting for days, they finally replied but didn't want to give me a refund. Eventually, we agreed to cancel my subscription and process the refund, which would take 5-10 days. It's been well over 10 days and I still haven't received the refund. I've emailed them, but haven't received a reply.

I tried to renew my subscription, which I just paid for on the 24th of September it looks like... they want me to pay again. On top of it, if I don't pay again and let it go, I lose the three months' worth of credits they have charged me for from samples. They are trying to rip me off by taking away a month or half a month of service, and if I don't pay, I lose three months' worth of their in-system currency. It's like they are holding my credits hostage, and if you cancel, it's gone... I should get my last two weeks of service. The preferred resolution is to get this month credited to me or reactivate my service. If they can't do that, then I want a refund for all services rendered. 60 for the creator and 130 for serum, totaling a refund of 190$.

The company charges for products, but they don't deliver them working properly. I never get the full amount of monthly credits I pay for audio files. The software I bought doesn't work. It crashes, freezes, and can hardly be used. The software either has a missing license or is just plain bad. The Splice app keeps bugging me to update the software I bought, but the updates don't work. Today, I updated the software like 30 times, and it keeps telling me to update again. My DAW keeps saying there's no license for the Splice software I bought. Plus, the company doesn't offer any quick communication options. They only have email, which is slow. I've been paying for months for software and music files I can't even access.

Splice My grandson, who I share a bank account with, has been using Splice without knowing its purpose

My grandson, who I share a bank account with, has been using Splice without knowing its purpose. They have been deducting money from our joint account every month since June . Both my grandson and I have been trying to cancel this subscription for a long time. It's nearly impossible to cancel, and there's even a YouTube channel explaining how to cancel it. When we tried to cancel, they claimed they couldn't find my grandson's account using either of the emails he used. My grandson is a college student, and I help him financially, which is why we have a joint account. Luckily, I managed to contact someone who knew about my grandson's account, and they finally canceled his subscription and refunded him for four months. I've done some research, and it seems that many people have had the same issue with this company. It's easy to subscribe, probably through a free trial, but extremely difficult to unsubscribe. All we want is a refund of the money they have taken from our bank account. However, a representative from Splice informed me that they can only refund up to six months.

Splice Splice seems like a total scam

Splice seems like a total scam. They charged me $19.99 for a product they didn't give me and wouldn't fix the problem or give me a refund. They try to hide behind their confusing "consent form" to justify their terrible behavior, which regular people can't understand. It's made to protect them from complaints about their awful service. Their products are often broken, and they trick new customers with their sneaky purchase process. Their customer service is nonexistent. They send generic emails with answers that don't even relate to the problem. They even posted a fake phone number on lots of websites that connects to a movie hotline, just to frustrate and embarrass unhappy customers. Don't believe Splice's fake responses on this site. They're just a plain old fraud. And if they made their "legal consent" form to cover up their shady practices, that makes them even more terrible and dangerous. Plus, they're taking advantage of musicians, who are already vulnerable and don't have the time or money to sue them. I really hope they get sued out of existence.
