I was charged $24.95 for the subscription that I never subscribed to.
I only used Spokeo one time to track one email. Then I was charged for subscription, although I didn't sign up for that.
Desired outcome: I need to get my money back. And I want my credid card to be deleted from my account.

I did a one time $0.95 search on Spokeo.com, which I've done before.
Somehow I was subscribed to a monthly membership for $24.95 per month.
This was not authorized and I'd like a full refund for Jan, Feb, March, and April please.

It's the same complaint that everyone else has had with Spokeo. I paid 1$ for a one-time search. I never received any information on the person I'd requested. I did cancel. Apparently, they did not. Consequently. I've been paying $24.95 since July 2021.

I am being charged $24.95 per month for a subscription which I never wanted.

I had cancelled the subscription the day I had used it they charged me $.95 and apparently it decided to keep charging me $24.95 even when I cancel the subscription they ran my credit card through a second time for $24.95I was denied use of their services because they did not set up an account or allow me access to their site. Spokeo is a people search website that false advertises one search for.95 cents. I completed one search on 2/8/22 and was charged.95 cents as advertised, then on 2/16/22 I was charged $24.95. I called to dispute the charge for $24.95 on 2/23/22 and requested a refund since I only initiated one search. Customer service notified me that after one search your automatically billed for a monthly subscription and they don't offer refunds for cancellation. I never agreed to a monthly subscription. Spokeo is still taking subscription payments out of my account after I have canceled my subscription in the past. I have contacted customer service but they never would help me with the refund of the service . And there service is not what they say it is so don't be fooled in to there scandle of buying there service . They do not do as they say . And the cancelation of there service is a hassel .

I had cancelled the subscription the day I had used it and apparently it decided to kept charging me. I was denied a refund even though I hadn't used the service and I was 100% sure I had cancelled it. The only help I was given was cancelling the service and no refund. I highly annoyed I saw money drawn from my account. They tried to deceive me by ignoring the fact I wanted a refund. Very scummy practice

I did a one time search on Spokeo which I've done before. Somehow they I was subscribed to a monthly memebership for 24.95. After speaking with Monica Id number 1554 she offered to cancel my account but would only refund 9.99 back to my account stating I could keep the account until the 2nd of January. What? Spokeo- predatorial or a scam?
I happened to land on the Spokeo website during an internet search one day. I must have done a search that required my card number for a trial, but I don't have any record of an account or a password- or an email for that matter. I'm pretty good at canceling trials that I don't intend to keep, and I don't know where this one came from. I was charged $24.95 on 11/11/21, and it's a really bad time for even that amount of money to be taken away from me. I've also been spending way too much valuable time trying to figure out what happened to my grocery money. I don't like being emotional in business situations, but I am so unhappy right now.
