Due to the heavy rain on 28.11.2023 the whole SLT Land line, wifi router and Peo tv connection were pulled out and the only option they have give to us is make a complaint via the land line to their hotline number of 1212. I tried several times via my mobile connection since broadband connection is not working. Even though I tried several time throughout the day of 29th it didn’t work. Not responding . Then I made a complaint to the nearest center of Homagama. The only thing happened is passing the ball. I work on Software industry so without proper wifi It’s annoying. When I asked on 30th a person called Kumari threatened to me that they will not work until I make a request to 1212 she told me to do that go and find a land line from neighborhood . Even after I made the complaint to the nearest center. Are they really work on telecommunication industry? I can’t believe whether the procedure of SLT company is so cheap or the old employees they have hire from fishing market. They have 0 respect for customers. They expect me to give up my work and make the damn complaint whole time.But the billing is ontime. No delay. Number of portals to pay bills but there is not one single online method to capture and resolve customer complaint quickly. Government service also more convenient than SLT service. If they cannot restore the connection within 24h they should have a proper way since there is no any changes on the bills due to their irresponsible service. Totally unacceptable.
