On Feb 4, 2022 Standard Insulation installed additional insulation and air sealing in my attic. I immediately noticed a difference in my house, particularly my living room which has a vaulted ceiling. From start to finish everyone I dealt with was professional, thorough in their explanations of what was being done and patiently answered all my questions. I have recommended them to neighbors who have inquired about the work I had done and have shown interest in doing the same.I'm anxious to see the savings in my utility bills over the coming months.

Standard Insulating Company came out and spent 2 hours looking over my existing insulation and made suggestions on upgrading my current attic insulation. He was very informative and answered all my questions. Their approach of educating myself, a potential customer and no pressure to make a decision is one of the biggest reasons I selected Standard Insulating. The crew came out exactly on time, 7:30 am and done within 3 hours per estimated by them. Very clean work crew and left my home as clean as when they arrived. I would use Standard Insulating company again in the future.

Standard Insulating came out promptly for an estimate and even though it was the least expensive, we felt like we chose the best option! They arrived promptly with 3 guys that were very polite and professional. They protected the hardwoods and got straight to work. It took them about 2 hours to remove existing radiant barrier that was strewn about, fill gaps in the attic, level out existing insulation, then blow additional insulation into the attic. When they left it was neat and clean and looked a lot better than before. Would definitely recommend to my neighbors!

Company was recommended by a friend. I received several estimates and chose Standard for the job. Their estimator came out and talked me through the project without pressuring me for a decision. He followed up again without pressure, and we signed the contract. The company was very flexible with our schedule and when we had to reschedule it was not a problem. The day insulation was put in the installers were friendly and did a professional job. They left no mess and did a great job. They were in and out and would have not known they had been here. Great job Standard Insulating Company.

I found Standard Insulation through an online search. During a routine A/C tune up, we were informed that the previous owner of our home didn't have the insulation blown into our attic space when they added an extension. After reading through reviews, I called Standard. Their owner was at our home within a couple days to give us an estimate. The price was 70% of what we were expected and we signed the quote. 3 days later their installation men showed up first thing in the morning. The project was finished in a couple hours. The men cleaned up and left with a friendly handshake. Very impressed. Standard Insulation is highly recommended.

Standard Insulating Company sent their representative, Mr. John E, to our house to address a problem we were having with hot spots in certain areas. Mr. E was up front with his assessment and explained everything in a way we were able to understand. The quote he emailed us was surprisingly reasonable with no hidden fees or surprises. We chose to have our insulation capped as well as radiant barrier installed. The work was scheduled less than a week later and the crew was professional, knowledgeable, quick, efficient and kept the whole work area clean. I highly recommend Standard Insulating Company to anyone looking to have any type of insulation work done.

We had their sales person, [salesperson's name], to answer our questions, measure the area and educate us about things we did not know. He assured us about the quality of the service we would be getting and his quote was very reasonable compared to quotes we had before. I contracted Standard Insulating Company in [insert month and year] to add additional blow-in insulation in my attic. They gave me numerous price options breaking down different solutions I could choose from. They never pressured to purchase or pushed for higher priced worked to be completed. Installers arrived at the exact time they stated would arrive on the day to start work. While they worked, I requested a small amount of additional insulation be added in certain areas. The tech checked with their office, gave me the additional cost quote, and completed the extra work just as I requested. I would highly recommend Standard Insulating Company for home insulation needs.

Needed some insulation and wrapping work done in the attic. I called Standard Insulating and they sent a rep out the next day for a free review and quote. Justin was polite and professional and did a thorough job of quoting, including showing me before pictures. They gave me a date and time to get the work done. The day before they called to confirm the time and give me the installers name. Mason showed up on time and did a quality job including after pictures of his work. The next day Cristina called to follow up to be sure I was satisfied. This is a great organization to work with, quality work on time at a reasonable cost. I used Standard Insulating Company for attic insulation. The rep who came out to inspect and give me a quote was very thorough - he took his time to educate me on their product, company, and insulation in general and did make sure that I understood what he was explaining and didnt use a lot of industry jargon. They gave me different options in my quotes that I could choose from and he made sure I understood the difference in the quotes. I got quotes from 3 companies and this was the only one who gave me options. I decided to go with them from my experience in the process, being recommended to them by my neighbors, and their lifetime warranty - unlike the 1 year warranty I was offered by the other companies. Installation was good - the guys showed up on time, were professional, very fast, and did not leave a mess behind them. I would definitely recommend utilizing this company if you are in need of insulation.

I was very impressed with Standard Insulating Company. Before I purchased my home, the inspector recommended that we add insulation because it was way under what it should be. It was easy to schedule an appointment for a consultation. The sales person was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. They provided options without trying to up-sell beyond what would be beneficial. They came out less than a week later to perform the work. They laid down plastic to keep the areas leading up to the attic clean. I could not believe the difference in the before and after. The amount of insulation that was added was staggering compared to before. I could tell a difference in the upstairs comfort level within a day. I can't wait to see how much it brings down my electric bill because my A/C was running non-stop. The cost was much less than I expected too. I will probably make it back in cost savings on energy costs within a year or two. I am very happy with the entire experience.

Even though Standard Insulating Company doesn't offer blow-in insulation through my outdoor walls, they were willing to give me advice to help me find a reputable company that did this type of insulation, and I wanted to share my experience. Their willingness to spend their valuable time to educate me about the process, the different materials, and the labor involved enabled me, a totally insulation illiterate woman in her 60s, to choose a company that did the work I needed. Based on reviews, Standard Insulation Company was my first choice but my house, built in 1854, has the original interior hardwood walls which can't be drilled to allow for interior blow-in insulation. The fact that they were willing to provide me with information even knowing that I wasn't one of their paying customers says so much about the knowledge, expertise, integrity, and honesty of this company. Excellent Service and Responsiveness: We received a free home energy inspection from Duke energy in late April . One of the suggestions made by the Duke energy inspector was to replace the old vapor barrier in our crawl space. Duke energy provided several companies that they typically recommend for such services. I contacted three of the companies to obtain a quote for the vapor barrier replacement. After meeting and speaking with representatives of the three companies, I decided on using Standard Insulating to do the job. This decision was based on the thorough inspection and review that their salesperson, Marc C, provided. Marc also exhibited a great deal of patience and responsiveness to the questions that I asked. He took pictures of the crawl space and explained what would be done. He also provided a reasonable and competitive price to do the work. Once I agreed to their proposal and price, we scheduled a date for the installation. On June 2, the installer, Mason, came out with an assistant to do the work. Mason and his assistant were on time and very professional. They completed the work within two hours, and I was totally pleased. Mason took photos of the completed work and sent them to me. I also went into the crawl space to see the completed work. From the beginning of the inspection process by Marc, to the final install by Mason and his assistant, I have been pleased with the work of the Standard Insulating Company. In fact, I am considering asking them to provide a proposal to replace some of the attic insulation which was also included in the Duke recommendations.
