State Farm abandonment

Have you recently been dumped by State Farm for no good reason on your home owner's insurance? Did the excuse they give you seem bogus? Did you prove to them it WAS a bogus reason so they just came up with another lie to justify their unfounded action? Was the reason such that you knew you couldn't fight it but you KNOW they were making it up? Do you wish they'd have to answer for actions like that? Well, Friends, listen to my story for State Farm just made the biggest mistake they could when they picked on my family to do what I just described above.

First, they wrote us that we were not in a fire coverage area and also emergency vehicles would not use our so-called substandard access so they cancelled our home owner's insurance upon renewal. "How interesting, " my husband replied, "for I run the Borough's GIS system and part of my job is tracking and mapping the fire coverage zones. I also work with all the fire chiefs for all the fire departments getting them my maps and analyzing data to insure the safety of our citizens." "We ARE in a clearly marked fire coverage zone and I happen to have a letter here from the local fire chief stating our property access is fine for his big, huge fire engine."

So State Farm tells him, "Actually it's really because you don't have two points of access in and out of your street." Now note, our property's drive is bigger than a cul-de-sac turn around. My husband says, "Ok, put that in writing." They say, "No."

Here's where sweet satisfaction comes and proves Karma's a [censored]. Probably 60-70% of the properties in the Borough (roughly the size of Wisconsin) do not have two points of access in and out of streets. So that is a SERIOUS situation for many citizens in the Borough. Emergency services and Planning will have to address this news from State Farm that they do not cover those properties.

Of course, then the State will have to get in on the act for state wide it's really an issue (as it would be for most states). This will likely blow up into a HUGE press explosion as word gets out State Farm refuses to insure these folks. Of course, State Farm wouldn't lie so my husband HAS to take their word for it. It is his job to keep departments informed on the status of these types of things for it impacts the citizenry and it's the job of government to do something about it.

So there is now all sorts of meetings being set up by all the departments to address this new concern that State Farm will be dumping literally thousands upon thousands of home owners of their insurance.

SEE what happens when you lie to your customers? What are you going to do now State Farm? Lie some more? Be careful, my husband has no choice but to do his job. YOU put him in that position. It's the emergency departments that are forcing him to address it. THEY are the ones you involved, though you didn't know it, and THEY were the ones that heard your answer to my husband about two points of access.

Sure, we'll have to find another carrier. But it is very satisfying seeing a company's outright lies bite them in the butt from a bureaucracy even larger than them. I wonder how they'll lie to the Borough, State and public. Oh, let's hope they say they didn't tell my husband that, then they'll find themselves guilty of fraud because hubby dear made sure it was documented, unbeknownst to State Farm.

Best advice - NEVER insure with State Farm. After 26+ years of them taking our money they hung us out to dry. But it'll be much worse for them than for us when this goes public. Journalists, sharpen those pencils!

By the way, it's fascinating they cancelled our home owners insurance one week after we switched our cars over to Progressive because the savings was HUGE!

State Farm excluded coverage

Car broken into. Radar detector (Escort 9500i) and Garmen GPS stollen. State Farm will not cover "devices used to detect speed measuring devices". Say WHAT? I was told "people of own radar detectors are known to speed". I asked for a link to State Farms website that has proof that this is a fact. She couldn't give me one. I then stated State Farm did not have proof, they only assumed this. She then said that was my opinion. I said, yep, how does it feel to have an opionion without fact to back it up. I think advised the CSR that I was sorry she was the one getting the chewing but I had one more question. Does State Farm sell policies to people who drive corvettes, mustangs, Dodge Chargers, etc.. She quickly said, "well yes, they are automobiles". I said, well, if you lock at the facts, reality, people who buy those cards will speed. But SF still covers these cars and the people driving them. She didn't know what to say except, "it's not the same thing sir". I beg to differ. So, my problem is simple. State Farm are biggots. They choose not to cover devices that detect police radar. Yes, I do drive fast. I've had 1 ticket in 30 years so at least I'm careful. I don't drive fast all the time but when I'm running behind. I will run with traffic. I live in the Detroit area. If you don't drive fast, you are from out of town or lost or 90 years old. SO, not only does my detector sniff out the police, it also warns me of safety vehicles. It also warns me of photo cameras. Radar from a police car is used to detect objects (cars) no matter what speed they are going. Some traffic enforcement officers hide, and shoot you (with radar) when they see you or your close enough. As a retired federal officer, I've never took to kindly to these tatics as I feel traffic enforcement should be out in clear view otherwise, your just trying to "trap" people. But around her, they leave their radar on all the time so picking them up a mile away is the norm. Laser? I run with my head lights on bright during the day so they can't get a clear shot till I'm closer. By then, my detector is barking at me. I just like to know where they are. State Farm does not agree with me about it being a safety device as much as a tool to allow me to drive 100 in a 35. So, BITE ME State Farm. I had no problem submitting my 21, 000 claim on my house for hail damage. Please raise my rates so I can jump ship to someone else. Just need a good excuse.

You have a rather ridiculous, bogus argument, and you are somewhat in contradiction of yourself here. You admit yourself that you speed which makes you much more likely to have an accident. You are a high risk and you will be doing any insurance company a favor to leave them. Maybe many people who own radar detectors don't speed, but you do! By the way...good luck finding other insurance after you submit a $21, 000 claim. Be careful about cancelling your insurance. You may not be able to get a policy elsewhere.

State Farm scam & arrogant‎ & discrimination

I will avoid any relation with this agent Judi Brown State Farm Insurance state college, and I suggest you to change agent if you are arranged to them. After I bought auto-insurance online, the woman Cindy L Irwin called me to sign papers. Next day I received an email said I need pay $21.76 more because I my millage is about 10000/year based on her calculation. I went to them and said I found there was a Typos error in my title which cause them calculate more in my millage (title paper listed millage 56148, but in fact it was 56948, and date was also wrong. The correct calculation of my millage should be about 5000mile/year). I also give her evidence but she just refused to read them. Then an old woman come and said don't waste their time. After left I call the woman and said their attitude made me unhappy and she said if you don't like, just change the insurance company. I even felt discrimination since I was not American.

Today I received their bill which shows that I need pay $36.22 more.

This is very easily remedied. State Farm underwriting requires proof that you drive your vehicle 5000 miles per year. Show the State Farm Agent your current mileage and provide them with your last two oil change receipts. That should do it.

This does not add up. You should easily be able to change your mileage rating if you actually drive 5, 000 miles per year. If they are not willing to do it and you have documentation, request a different agent. Go visit a different State Farm Agent who will help you. They may refer you back to your agent, so explain the situation to them.

Hi Lisa,

I work for a State Farm Agent in California, and I want to preface the next statement by stating that rules are different in each state.

Unless you had an accident without insurance, State Farm should be able to reinstate the coverage.

That employee should have required the cancellation in writing. It eliminates costly mistakes.

Here is the number to State Farm's Corporate office:

Hope this helps!

State Farm crooked claims paying policy

I filed an automobile claim with State Farm as a vehicle insured by State Farm damaged my vehicle by rear ending it. State Farm claims rep are not only rude but they decided from day one that they were going to deny the claim based on uninsured motorist, even before they had conducted an investigation which goes to show that this must be standard State Farm policy. Here are the facts: the driver of the other vehicle, an unlicensed driver is driving the vehicle for the insured conducting a cleaning business and his job is to drive the cleaning crew around town and to this day the same individual is driving the same vehicle and doing the same thing where as the insured claims that the driver did not have permission to drive the car, hence the denial of the claim. Are State Farm reps and investigators really that stupid, why would the insured accept responsibility when they have State Farm on their side and they can get away with making a false statement. State Farm has a moral responsibility to investigate such statements thoroughly before accepting any statements made by the insured. How do I know that State Farm Claims Rep did not advise the insured to make the false statement so they could deny the claim. Apparently it is beneficial for State Farm to keep the premium dollars by accepting false statements. What happens when tomorrow the same individual driving a State Farm insured vehicle seriously hurts or kills someone will state farm still hide behind the uninsured motorist claim and deny the claim. Anyone doing business with State Farm should reconsider.

U should always read ur policy..uninsured nonpermissive users are normally not covered by any insurance co. You need to check your facts and your states policy for insurance..most are dictated by your state insurance dept...before you make accusatory statements that are not based on fact but emotions.

That sucks that that happened to you, but it is not State Farm's fault. State Farm will deny all claims involving unlicensed drivers.

Other insurance companies will deny claims if the vehicle is being driven by someone not on the policy.

The fault of this situation lies with the vehicle owner.

Check your insurance policy. You may have uninsured motorist coverage. Place the claim through that coverage and have your insurance company go after the guilty party.

Even if you don't have collision coverage for your vehicle, the Uninsured Motororist will usually pay up to $3, 500 for your repair. CHECK YOUR POLICY!

Your problem is a perplexing one, but one I have seen before. It is indeed true that State Farm will deny a claim if the driver does not have permission from the owner. Here is the kicker...if the owner does not give permission, the driver will most likely be prosecuted for stealing the vehicle. This is not a situation where an owner can just deny the fact that he/she gave permission. You do have recourse! Your own insurance policy probably carries an Uninsured Deductible Waiver. Call your agent to find out. You may get that claim covered and your company will go after the driver as well! Hopefully you have the coverage.

State Farm inadequate coverage

I have been w / state farm since 1997 and have insured 5 cars and just 2 yrs ago my modular home. Fearing the unknown, i kept full coverage on my vehicles after paying off note. I had one accident (Damage to my property only) and an accident involving a deer. I was stranded over 200 miles from home recently and to my horror find out that what i had been paying for all theses yrs was not worth a penny.

My towing coverage / roadside assistance would not get my car back home. It only covered towing to the nearest repair shop - remember i am 200 miles from home at the mercy of strangers - - wonderful strangers they were - - more helpful than state farm was. The damage to my car was internal - - engine. It take me 6 days on my own to get my car back to georgia. Those helpful strangers assisted me in getting a rental car - - not state farm. Later was told, my insurance would not pay for the rental - - which is part of my coverage, also. My insurance would cover the rental car.

The towing cost over 200 miles from fla back to ga was $500. 00 - - state farm only would pay / paid a $100. 00 and i am hoping it reimburses me back for the first towing to the repair shop of $ 60. 00. Warning to others state farmers - - question your agent on what if this happen what will my insurance coverage. I trusted them. I thought i had what i needed in case of any emergency. My neighbor told me i had the best insurance it was - state farm - - yeah, until you need them. I laughed at their recent commercial about the 40 million people they insure - - if those 40 million only knew.

I called the 1800 # the day i saw the commercial and the csrep did not seem very surprised when i told him of my ordeal. There was no offer of help! He said state farm should pay the towing. I wonder if my home catches on fire what they will tell me - - my fire coverage doesn't cover a fire! State farm is a joke when one needs them. As long as the premiums are paid the insurer is okay. I never received a call from my loyal agent offering any additional assistance in the matter. Oh yeah. Just the renewal bill by mail from the main

I took the test 4 yrs ago and answered the way I thought they wanted me to BE. I passed but I wasn't ready to move into a position because of a move I was goping not to make in AZ., So, two yrs later I took it again, forgetting my early strategy and failed! Now 2 yrs passed, I'm settled and ready to take it and after reading several comments and sites it's reminded me to play the game. You can't be yourself on these tests. Like most interviews, it's sad you have to act like someone your not because your being judge on every response! This company has the highest insurance rates next to American Family. It's the opportunity to have your own agency that's attractive, not so much the product. Working for an insurance Broker would be far more exciting!

I went to an interview at a very nice well known State Farm Insurance Agent and did great at the interview. The agent then had to give me a personality and employment exam which did have some math as well. It was maybe about 100 questions that took an hour with multiple choice answers. I left out feeling that I did pretty well. I had to wait to get the results so the agent called me the next day and told me I failed. I was qualified for the job, had the licensing, have my own real estate company with 16 years sales experience. I also have had other jobs such as in the banking, secretarial and other customer service type jobs. I failed the customer service part and I am totally blown away. Most of my real estate transactions are representing both parties buyer and seller and negotiation is key in my job. I am polite and can difuse almost any situation and as far as personality goes, I can strike up a conversation with anybody. I got personality and I must do a good job for my clients because they keep on referring business to me. Now, I was reading over some of the complaints that people have about the customer service that State Farm has. Well now we know, they look for folks that are the opposite of giving good customer service and the folks they hire must not have personality either. You can ask anybody that knows me, I've got what it takes. So, state farm thanks for your test that proves that your looking for idiots with no personality and customer service experience. And your a good neighbor, no neighbor I want. You missed out on getting a good hardworker that loves people and serving them with their best interest in mind. I will get on with a better company. Thanks for wasting my time.

I totally agree with the statement above. I too interviewed for a State Farm position. I did quite well. I had owned my own company for 17 years, The company was quite successful, I sold it when a great offer came my way. I felt it was time to move on. I am very friendly, hardworking, and great at customer service. I took the assessment test and was told I failed. They lost out on what is becoming harder and harder to find these days. A loyal, honest, and hardworking individual who has extensive experience in customer service, marketing, and overall good business sense. Perhaps they need to take a harder look at that assessment test.

Well, I was recently invited to take the SLCP assessment offered via State Farm in order to become an independent contractor. I found the assessment quite trivial. It was an assessment that asked more about who you know instead of what you know...so if you have 500 contacts you will answer the question associated with "How many contacts do you have" or "How many people in your neighborhood do you know by a first name?" There were questions asked that were the same, but worded differently for honesty and integrity purpose. Understandably, this test is not necessarily developed to find out if you can be a CEO of your independent agency. First and foremost, I feel that other insurance organizations do a better job at testing or using an assessment to determine sales and leadership effectiveness. I had applied to and was successful in penetrating through the assessments with other organizations ending up in an interview that resulted in job offers. Also, with respect to the SLCP assessment, there were questions asking me to assess my selling skills as either pushy or more passive. This type of question was very odd in that if I were to provide insurance selling services to any client, it will be the best policy offered based on their needs and pushing a client into a corner to buy is not on my list of ways to manipulate clients into buying(high pressure sales). This assessment can be passed for certain. My purpose for taking this a assessment was merely to see how State Farm assesses potential independent contractors during the hiring process. On another note: Why does State Farm call an agency and independent contractor especially when you are captive to selling just their products and services?

State Farm todd courtney insurance

Do not buy Life Insurance from State Farm/Farmers Insurance. My sister and brother-in-law bought a life insurance policy from Todd Courtney Farmers Insurance in San Jose California. Approximately 1 year after they purchased the policy my brother in law at the age 41 died of a sudden heart attack. He had no medical history of any kind. When my sister called Todd Courtney and advised him of the unexpected death, they refused to pay the policy. They stated that my brother-in-law had went to the doctor approximately 10 years earlier and stated he had chest pains. The doctor wrote a letter and stated he was in perfect health. Do not trust State Farm/Farmers Insurance especially the office in San Jose, Calif TODD COURTNEY. They will take your premiums but then fail to pay if the worst happens. It is very sad that these companies can get away with things like this.

That is a valid point...Find out if Farmers has a preferred roofer program. They may have a certified roofer in your area that can assess the damage and may know more than the adjuster as far as the costs go. As far as your roof goes though, I am not surprised that they won't replace the roof because of the age of it. I know that some of your neighbors received a new roof, but their circumstances may have been different. A home may need a new roof every 5 to 10 years depending on the material and quality of the roof. If you are not satisfied with the response, the company must offer you a chance to send an appeal. If you are still not satisfied, you can proceed in small claims court. Small claims court will cost you $50-$100 but proceed cautiously. Maybe talk to someone with legal experience to find out how good your case is. Good luck!

My roof is 12 years old and so are my neighbors. Two roofing companies which replaced my neighbors' roofs this spring said that my roof is worse than the ones they just replaced. My subdivision was built by same builder at same time. I am sure these houses were constructed with same materials. Farmers estimated that it will only cost a few hundred dollars to fix it. This cost is lower than my deductible.

Another thing that I need to mentioned here is, after Farmer first inspection, I kept appeal for second inspection, one and half month later, Farmer sent second inspector to my house, he also rejected for a new roof, his estimation of repairing my roof were 326 dollars less than the first inspector’s estimation. There were a big thunder storm happened between the first inspection and the second inspection. First time there were three shingles missing (my roofing companies asked for hail damages), second time, there were 11 shingles missing and some were loose. How could the second inspector’s estimation be $326 less?

Hey JBond...Were the roof's the same age and same material? I know that you needed a new roof, but how old was the roof, and did Farmers pay for the damage that was caused? If your roof was 10-15 years old, I can see why Farmers would only pay to repair the damaged portion, but if your roof was 2-3 years old, you may have a legitimate complaint. More detail needs to be shared here. Thanks!

The Famers Insurance is the worst. All my neighbors, surrounding my house or closed to my house, got new roofs for their houses paid by their insurances because the hails damages. But I don't get the new roof since I am with the Farmers Insurance. There were three roofing companies inspected my house, every one of them said my roof is damaged by hails and I need a new roof. The Famers Insurance rejected them all. All my neighbors who get new roofs are not with the Farmer insurance. How my neighbors’ house damaged by hails and storms but mine was not. Our houses were built at the same time by same builder.

Carl, State Farm has unbelievably high marks not only from the ratings bureaus, but also from the Department of Insurance of California for their Life Insurance company.

State Farm is the highest rated financially, they are rated poorly by American Institute of Justice who rates them in the top 10 worst insurance companies in America

I opted against State Farm after Eric Smith aka YourLifeSolution.com told me they were massively overrated, I currently have an ING policy with him and was very happy with his service. YourLifeSolution.com provides insant ratings on their site.

If that is the situation, that is completely wrong. Take that to the insurance commissioner right away!

Don't just let that go. If they didn't want to issue to the policy, they shouldn't have.

One note: State Farm and Farmers are two different companies. State Farm is the highest rated life insurance company in California by the Department of Insurance.

State Farm employee of state farm, skye owens, in reference to donald ray owens iii

Curious to know how State Farm can hire trustworthy employees to represent its company, when their spouse has been a possible suspect to commiting his own insurance fraud by burning up his Truck to avoid payments... There is no known full investigation, (no extent of interviews/statements) conducted. Apparently, it was simply based on this owner of the burnt trucks on words. He now walks free of any charges while others weap his possible actions. How does that represent State Farm? Is there no TRUE care about your business to represent your credability for your own establishment? It seems that if State Farm itself is not worried enough about its own businness or self then how can State Farm be worried about anyone else? Its a question of character, and a disrespect that State Farm would ask consumers to trust in them when they don't go to the extremities to reasure their "Valued customers" that State Farm and everyone that represents the business is in fact law abbiding and moral. Seems that State Farm needs to do some self evaulating of its own before taking hard working individuals money, and trust to confide in what the company "State Farm" implements to be a company of integrity.

I personally know both Skye Owens and her husband and I think this is a pathetic attempt to create negative publicity for her and to discredit her with her employer. Luckily, the agent Skye works for is savvy enough to appraise the situation for what it is and the attempts of this almost unintelligible, grammatically incorrect jumbled pile of words to cause Skye any turmoil are all for naught. I am surprised that this person would elect to use words such as "trust" "honest" and "integrity". I would recommend looking into spellcheck for your future slanderous attempts.

State Farm non-payment of hail damage claim

I have had State Farm insurance on my cars for 35 years and my home for 22 years, never filing a claim. We had a couple of bad hail storms last year and all four of the houses surrounding mine were judged to have hail damage (as well as several others on my street and many others in surrounding neighborhoods) and received new roofs paid for by their insurance companies (not state farm). I had one of the roofers doing work on my neighbor's house look at my roof and he confirmed that my roof also had hail damage and gave me an estimate. I turned in a claim to State Farm, who sent an adjustor out to look at it and (surprise! surprise!) said that my roof did not have hail damage and that they would not pay. I am going to switch insurance companies, probably to either Allstate or Farm Bureau.

Tell your agent that if a different claims adjuster is not sent to your home to re-evaluate the first adjuster's opinion that you will contact the board of insurance. If the second adjuster has the same opinion as the first then file a complaint with your board of insurance and also tell your agent that if they do not pay your claim that you will also file suit. You will need to have more than one roofer give you an estimate and state what caused the damage. That and have your neighbors all provide you with copies of their claims statements from other companies that agree with the hail damage claims. Finally, you can call the weather service and have unbiased data as to whether hail fell in your area during the times in question. This data will also help you.

State Farm agent careless

I have been a customer to state farm at this location since 2003. I had never filed a claim since. Until near the end of 2009 I'm in need of a new roof. Call the agent, she come by, look at it, and said will send her guy over to give me an estimate of how much I can get state farm to help me out with the cost. 8 months later nothing happen. No one has ever showed up…my request of address change never got change. When I call the office, she decided to transfer me over to another agency because she didn’t want my claim under her agency name. Now my roof is falling a part, this state farm agency decides to do nothing about it. My entire family have policy with State Farm (9 sibling) and this is how they treat us. How fair is this? When I need them the most they turn their back on me.

home owners insurace doesnt cover a new roof unless there is damage. It is your house...you have to pay for the roof. No insurance will approve a 'maintenance' claim. Damage claims only

State Farm what am I paying for???

I was with StateFarm for 6 months, due to there NEGLIENCE of how a policy actually suppose to be handled. How do I pay a for a policy for several months to find out that I was never on MY OWN policy? Then my vehicle is stolen, stripped, and burned and they investigate me. Investigated everything in my life to find NOTHING or any connection. But I am still forced to pay a car note and insurance for a car that is not in a SHOP, being REPAIRED or REPLACED. Sad part about it is I have been without my car since OCT 2009 and now its APR 2010. Once again can I ask what am I paying insurance for? "Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there.®" that is a good slogan...(BS)...but I should have known when I found out that they are not a 24-hr business (claims only)and they have LOCAL offices that only work regular business hours and weekend information is a complete FAILURE.

Do you have your Policy Documents the car would have been listed on there if it was covered. Also they should have sent proof of coverage to your finance company. If you can find proof contact your state Insurance commission and file a complaint against state farm. Since the complaint will be sent to corporate they will contact the local office and ask why they are getting complaints from the state. If and when you get your claim settled switch to a different Co. I like Einsurance they have good rates and a good claims service. But shop around you can also check on the net a see any company's rating.

State Farm road rage accident and they will not pay up!

On December 15th 2009, my husband was driving home from his brothers in our 02 Honda Accord LX Coupe. There was a trailblazer in front of him and a taurus to the right of the trailblazer. The ford taurus wanted over in front of the trailblazer but the trailblazer kept going at regular speed and didnt let him over so the taurus cut off the trailblazer barely leaving any room. Then the trailblazer bright lighted the guy, so the taurus slammed on his breaks once no one hit they started going again a ways down the road he slammed on his breaks again and the trailblazer hit him, then my husband hit the trailblazer. The Taurus got wreckless driving tickets, both my husband and the middle guy (trailblazer) got following to closely tickets. State Farm says my husband is 100% liable for this accident! But yet once our insurance "American Family" denied that we were liable they have not pushed for them to pay for their insured taurus and trailblazer. Dont make much since, we have a 1 year old son and no car! This is not legitamate at all! How is my husband liable when they have statements from the drivers and the witnesses in the police report that states he slammed on his breaks to cause the accident. I recently went onto www.consumeraffairs.com and posted a complaint as well and there are so many complaints just like mine! How are they getting away with this, it cant be legal. You pay for insurance every month so that when this happens its covered. It clearly states in the police report that the taurus cut off the trailblazer then slammed on his breaks to a complete stop. You can not stop in a road of traffic going 45 for no reason! I guess state farm rewards their wrecklelss drivers! The other two drivers can still drive their cars and ours wont even start its so smashed in. This is just ridiculouse! I will never get state farm insurance!

Exactly..doesn't matter why the cars in front stop..if you can't Stop in time you are going to be partly liable. It is called comparative negligence. sounds like a swoop and squat mva to me.

I am sorry, but from what you wrote, your husband is at least partly at fault for the accident. Regardless of the reason a driver stops, the vehicle behind him must stop as well. Your husband was obviously at least partly at fault because the police officer issued him a citation for following too closely.

You should always have comprehensive and collision coverage with your own insurance company if you are worried about fixing or replacing your vehicle.

You have the right to take the other driver to small claims court if you feel that you are still in the right.

State Farm wrongful denial

I HAVE A HOME OWNERS POLICY WITH STATE FARM INS. I NOTICED ON 3/26/09 GRAYISH FILM ON MY WALLS. STATE FARM "NEVER" CAME OUT TO EXAMINE THE GRAY WALLS/DUST. I WAS TOLD IT DID NOT MAKE SENSE TO FILE A CLAIM THAT "APPEARED TO BE LESS THAN MY DEDUCATBLE". TO MAKE A VERY LONG STORY SHORT, ..., STATE FARM INSURANCE COMPANY ACCEPTED THIS CLAIM AS A "PUFF BACK" ( SOOT FROM A RUNNING BOILER), WHICH MADE NO SENSE BECAUSE I HAD NO BOILER RUNNING. THE ADJUSTER "STEPHEN R" MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL BECAUSE I WOULD NOT ENTERTAIN HIS DIRECT/INDIRECT STATEMENTS THAT WERE GRAPHIC, UNPROFESSIONAL AND EXPLICIT. ONCE I REPORTED THIS ADJUSTER FOR HIS BEHAVIOR, STATE FARM MADE MY LIFE A LIVING HELL, DENIED THE CLAIM AFTER THEY ACCEPTED IT, INDICATING I HAD NO DAMAGE TO MY HOME. AFTER I WAS FORCED TO HIRE CONSULTANTS, AIR SPECIALIST AND TESTS MY HOME IS MOLD INFESTED AND I HAVE NOT BEEN LIVING IN MY HOUSE FOR 5 MONTHS. ME AND MY CHILD WHO IS CHRONIC ASTHMATIC WERE THROWN IN THE STREETS, WE COULD NOT GO BACK HOME, DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASONS I HAD TO FIGHT IN COURT WITH A TRO STOPPING STATE FARM, WHO CLAIMED MY HOME WAS "HABITABLE" AND ANY LOSS WAS PRIOR TO ME PURCHASING MY HOME. I CAN NOT DESCRIBE IN WORDS WHAT STATE FARM IS ALLOWING ME AND MY CHILD TO GO THROUGH. HOWEVER AFTER SO MUCH RESEARCH, I FOUND THAT WHAT STATE FARM IS DOING TO ME IS PART OF THEIR COMMON PRACTICES: PAVIA, NANCY GERDING, AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. I WILL NOT GIVE UP AND WILL PURSUE THIS TO THE END. TO DATE ME AND MY FAMILY ARE DISPLACED AND THEIR GOAL APPEARS TO BE TO BREAK US DOWN, FINANCIALLY. IT DISGUSTS ME HOW PEOPLE LIVE WITH THEMSELVES KNOWING THEY ARE MAKING OTHERS SUFFER FOR THE LOVE OF MONEY.

I totally agree with you. They will do anything to avoid paying one little penny out of their DEEP pockets, but we still continue to pay them and for what? Nothing, that is what. Experienced a house fire & because of the fact that we were about to move out, mind you, nothing except for one sofa had been removed from the home, we are now suspicious and they have no clue what caused the fire. My family & I have been going through this now for almost 7 months. We have been told that we will now be undergoing an "examination under oath" which I understand is common practice, but because of their failure to do what is right & just, they just want to avoid having to pay for our home & all of our belongs we lost. I pray for God's insight to why people want to behave like this and treat others unfairly & unjust, but so is the way of the world. The mighty dollar prevails for this no good company. They are NOT a good neighbor in my book & hope I never have any kind of neighbor like that. If that is the case, with neighbors like that, who needs enemies?
