registration renewal
On June 5 we had accidentally made two payments for a registration renewal on this website. They charged my mum about $120 and when the registration sticker came in the mail it was only for ONE YEAR, when we paid for TWO YEARS accident or not. We're not sure how to get our money back at least for rhe second payment. Do not use this website. It was a mistake of ours to not pay much attention.
We got refunded for our second payment in 1 to 3 business days
Misleads you to think you're renewing car registration
When you type in that you want to renew car registration this site pops up first and walks you through the your personal information which would be needed to renew your registration so I did filed it in. Then bam! It says your payment was processed. For what I wondered because no where do you read about this being a go between for toy and the state until after they charge your card. I immediately called my bank and filed a claim and put the alert on. This fraudulent scam "company" is why we're pay so much for insurance and why our elderly and vulnerable friends and family are taken to the cleaners. This company is disgusting and preys on people.
Oops! I wrote that while I was upset and misspelled words...

I had a charge of $97.00 on my discover card for a registration.
I had a charge for $97.00 for a car registration. I did need two renewals but one was for $81.00 and one for $134.00. I renewed the $81.00 registry online and put it on my Credit Union credit card. The $134.00 registration I got at the Secretary of State Office in Fort Gratiot, Mi. Could you check your records and return my money to my Discover Card?

Online vehicle registration
I went to renew vehicle registration and was taken to this site and thinking it was DMV site I registered vehicle and was charged an additional $16.75 from what I am usually charged through Wisconsin DMV... what to heck is with this?
I finally found the way to where I was wanting to be and would have been charged an extra $1.28 to register my vehicle online (total $76.28) compared to the $93.03 that I was charged on the StateRegistration site... what is going on? I am not a happy camper!
I should NOT have paid the extra $16.75 for the registration...
Needless to say, I am irate that this sneaky tactic happened...
I WANT MY $16.75 back... this is outrageous! It sucks! Give me my money back you crooks!

Vehicle registration renewal service
This website appeared when I searched for my county's department of motor vehicle's online vehicle registration website. It functions exactly like the official staate/county government-affiliated websites and says it provides the service for $10 but tacks on $15+ fee. It's also bilking states out of fees they would ordinarily earn. This website should be shut down as it's also receiving personal / private information that should only occur between citizens and government departments.
The web address states ".org" which is misleading. I suspect that address had previously been ".com" and was changed when the company was "outed" as abusive.
Online official government vehicle registration webpages should put in place security safeguards that only vehicle owners can utilize!

Renewal of plates
Thought I was on the michigan state website when I renewed my auto plates. In the end after I hit the button to register there was a fee that was put on my credit card. Had I known that I would not have paid, and renewed through the michigan bmv, and that's what site I thought I was on.
Be forewarned when renewing your plates and make sure your on the state BMW website.

site posed as rmv site, specifically renew registration
When renew registration RMV is searched on google this site pops up first https://stateregistration.org/massachusetts?gclid=Cj0KCQjwnZXbBRC8ARIsABEYg6D3cknwJHG8tPGmw3FDgWmk0OIvhIqwDNQPFWqLVlqwdDf3Fs6IEaYaAiWGEALw_wcB the 1st icon button says renew reg 2nd says go to RMV website if you are in a hurry you hit button 1. Looks just like RMV site you put in a your license & credit card info and sign up for roadside assistance and they will renew your registration on your behalf. It's legitimate but shouldn't be. It's obvious it's designed to fool someone into thinking they are on RMV Official Site. Small disclaimers on site telling you it's not hard to find so is phone number to cancel. Should be illegal!

Had similar experience to many others. Was in a hurry. Typed Pennsylvania Registration Renewal in Google and this site came up first. Shame on me for using it. Never received the email. Called customer support and they said they only accept emails at that time. Went directly to PENNDOT and received the vehicle registration immediately and for less money. Again, shame on me for not looking into the site more carefully. I am sure StateRegistration.org counts on people being in a hurry and using their site in lieu of going directly to the Department of Transportation.
This has been resolved to my satisfaction.

Registration fee not associated with the state of ohio
I sent in a request to renew my registration to what I believed to be the State of OHIO registration renewal bureau. After clicking the send I noticed a charge of $22.50 for the service you are providing. I would never have agreed to this when the State of OHIO provides this and I think your service should show this up front and a total before you click on the send button for review. I may have submitted this just a few minutes before this but would like for you to cancel this renewal. If you do this I will not have to pursue a rejection of this claim to the credit card company and would be a good will gesture on your part. Thank you, Chuck Shumway
I signed on to what I thought was the official OH bureau of Motor Vehicles. After submitting my request I realized this was not the official site and Wish to revoke this transaction. I was charged a fee of $22.50 for this transaction and would never have agreed to this if this was shown in the total of the transaction amount.

Undisclosed charges on my registration fees
I authorized a payment of $112.00 to the state of Oregon DMV for my registration renewal. I discovered a charge of $128.75 on my Visa bill that identified itself as:
or vehiclregorrenewal [protected].
I went on-line thinking I was dealing with the DMV. I never would have agreed to pay a service charge or fee of any kind. I would have written a check and mailed it to the DMV with their self addressed envelope for the cost of a postage stamp if I saw a charge was involved in paying on-line. There was no hurry in getting that renewal in the mail.

Registration renewal
Searched on Google to renew my registration and accidentally came up with this website. They charged almost $30 extra dollars to do what I would have gotten for free from DMV website. Very disappointed and there doesn't seem to be a way to rectify the situation, as the phone number given does not connect to a person. Save yourself from this service and make sure you are using the true DMV site.
StateRegistration.org requested I delete this complaint, but I feel it makes more sense to mark as resolved and share the rest of my experience.
After posting this complaint, I promptly received an email from StateRegistration.com which outlined several defenses of their position in three bullet point. Essentially it boils down to these points, which I will counter briefly.
1) There are several bold postings which state the website is a third-party site and outlines their unique services. You are also required to check and sign to confirm you are aware. To counter, my thoughts upon using this service were that StateRegistration.org was the ONLY option for renewing online, in the vein of several companies (our local power company for example) who outsource online payments to services such as WesternUnion, etc. This is not the case. You can use your state DMV website directly to make these payments without the extra charge.
2) Contacting us is easy, and we respond quickly. Again, true, but only through email, and there was no way to know this without having experienced it. There is no call number posted to the site (not that I saw anyhow), so immediate service, as would have been appropriate for finding a surprise $30 fee, was not a listed option.
Items 3 and 4 related to the filing status and refund policy, which in my opinion was handled well by StateRegistration.org, without giving too much away on their part.
Overall, if I had it to do over from the beginning, I would have bypassed StateRegistration.org altogether, as I did not find the extra fee worth the services they offered. However, the site handled this complaint extremely well, and I do not hold further ill will with them and appreciate their help in this matter.
I went to the va dmv site at www.dmvnow.com and somehow "support@ state registration.com took over and charged me $15 to get a one year renewal.
I went on the VA DMV site to renew my vehicle registration. I wanted to deal with the DMV but somehow Support@stateregistration.org took over and charged me $15 for only one year registration. I paid a total of $64.75. I called the DMV and was told that this has happened before.
I called my credit card company. They gave me the number 888-206-4902.
I called several times and they are no longer taking calls.
My credit card company said if they do not resolve the issue, I can call back and file a dispute. I was never told that they would charge me $15.
I do not think it should be legal for a company to take over when I went to the DMV site.
My complaint was resolved satisfactorily!
Thank you very much for your patience as I learned where to resolve it.

The fee that they know you don't anything about
When I went to 0plates.com there the first link there is not what you are looking for unless you want to pay almost 20 dollars more for your tags. You know if they don't have a direct call number, there is something wrong so what I intend on doing is calling my credit card and seeing what they could because this is unaccceptable this happened on 3/11/18, my resolution would be my refund of my monies and when I go to a web site it is the actual one, I don't know how to upload anything but I could fax I have clicked on almost all the links and it is not the right one, so I am done I wont be scammed again, when I went to the website again there are no address or anything other than this site here.

Frightening email
I just got an email from this site state registration.org telling me that their records show that my registration expires at the end of the month. The email is frightening because it says "FINAL Attempt" and it came days before the end of the month! However, I paid this over a month ago!
This is TOTALLY Fraudulent and they are using scare tactics to get people's money! Please stop them!
Stateregistration.com has also asked me to remove the allegation of fraudulent. They are a valid third party "for Profit" site that registers plates for an additional fee. They are not affiliated with the state motor vehicles office at all. My complaint centered on the email claim that my registration expired at the end of the month when that was not the case. I also thought this came from the state DMV so I became very alarmed.
This website has agreed to refund my charges based on my complaint.

Watch out for this site!!!
When I went to renew my tags I had searched DMV. I had chosen the first link and was in for a surprise. They had charged me a fee for something I was unaware of. I have already contacted my bank because I want my money back. I didn't know this was a 3rd party because they hide it so well. I have sent 2 e mails about canceling my order and they have not gotten back to me. If they don't get back to me I will be forced to dispute this charge. Stateregistration.org please make this right.
Thank you.
I was refunded that morning, thank you so much.

This site is a scam
This site is a scam; when renewing my car's registration online this website came up (sponsored) as the first link. Needing to get my registration done ASAP, I didn't properly vet the site; it's a scam. I was charged a fee for something the state provides for free. I wasn't emailed or shown any kind of proof that my registration was actually renewed and could not get a hold of anyone from the organization. I cancelled my debit card fearing identity theft and further charges.
Don't use it. Go directly to the state's website. That's what I did as soon as i did some light scanning online as to this website's validity.

Vehicle registration renewal in Texas
I received a "last attempt" notice that my personal vehicle registration would expire at the end of this month (OCTOBER). I had my official TEXAS renewal notice on my desk and knew it would expire at the end of November. I went to their web site a saw that they were going to charge me a extra $16.75 to use their service. At first I thought that the State had outsourced the online renewal. Having to pay that extra service fee convinced me that I would drive to the county office and renew in person. But first...
I checked my State Renewal Noticed and decided to recheck the state website. Sure enough, I saw that the State website would charge $16.75 LESS than this BOGUS SCAM OUTFIT. Well of course I renewed at the official State website.
The company will say that all that extra charge is explained on their website, but they are also proud of their "ONE CLICK" and "ERROR FREE not" system. They don't even know my correct expiration date.
Stateregistration.org Texas issued me a refund based on my complaint. Happy Camper
Vehicle registration overcharge
Here in Virginia, I renewed my car registration online a few days ago. Registration was $74.75 AND I printed out my receipt to that effect. However, I noticed on my bank statement that I was charged $89.75, $15 over what the DMV said I was charged. I called the DMV and the woman told me "maybe some 3rd party charged a fee for you to pay." I said, "WHAT?! What 3rd party?" She said she didn't have any idea. I said I'd always paid online and something was really wrong. So either our Virginia DMV has something shady going on (the woman on the phone told me they'd only charged me $74.74) OR they are associated with a company that is very shady and is stealing from people. I've noticed quite a few complaints about Stateregistration.org from others, so I highly suspect the latter.

Registration of vehicle with plate # 1AWJB3
On 6-24-17 I renewed my honda civic registration which was supposed to be 90.00 and I paid online with a credit card but it said it was deducting the $90.00 and when the credit card bill came, it was 106.75! I would have never paid with credit card if that much was charged. I had the money in my bank account but at the time that credit card was the only option that came up on your website. I figured then why not pay with a card since there was no added fee. I make a point of never paying added fees when unnecessary because I have a very large family to support. Thank you for your time.
