SCAM! AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I reserved a stay at the Hilton in Williamsburg for my family when the confirmation came back everything was correct so I proceeded to pay but when the page refreshed it had the wrong dates. I called them immediately about the error on the site and the told me they would put in a ticket and call me back. Well 24hours passed by nothing so I gave them a call only for them to tell me they could not change my dates back unless they talked to the provider( who's the provider?). I called for several days they then told me I can change my date at an upgraded rate of $1400.. SMH my original price was $542.
The rep told me I could not get a refund until the provider spoke with the hotel but I did one better I spoke with Hilton and the said I could indeed get a full refund and the will wait for stayforlong to call them so they could confirm. I called stayforlong they stated they had indeed talked to the hotel and I would get a refund 10-14 business days that was on the 4th.
Today is now the 25th I called stayforlong and they told me they had no confirmation of a refund and they was still waiting on the provided I called them liars and asked to speak to a manager just to be told that their managers do not speak to customers but I can write the email..lol STAYFORLONG STOLE MY MONEY IS LYING ABOUT IT AND NOW IS IGNORING MY PHONE CALLS. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM THIS SITE IS INDEED A SCAM
Desired outcome: 24 days later and I was told my refund has not been confirmed by the provider or the hotel even tho the hotel gave me the direct contact info for stayforlong to call..
