Received a cancelation notice from our homeowners insurance cuz Stockton Mortgage ain't paid our premium. We've NEVER missed a payment! Our insurance and taxes are supposed to be paid from escrow. This is UNACCEPTABLE!
In October , me and my hubby closed on a house
In October , me and my hubby closed on a house. During the closing, we gave money to Stockton Mortgage to cover the 2020 property taxes. But guess what? Stockton Mortgage messed up and didn't pay the taxes. Now, the taxes are overdue and the county attorney is gonna put a lien on our property. We're trying to sort things out with Stockton, but it's been a real struggle. We still don't know if they're gonna pay up or not.

I was workin' with Stockton Mortgage to close on a home. They told me I gotta pay off all my credit cards and student loan debt, which added up to 'bout $13,000. I did what they asked, just tryin' to get to the finish line, and then they accused me of messin' with a document. I personally brought in all the papers I sent 'em, with proof and a video showin' I didn't change nothin' on my end. But they still denied me the loan at the last minute. I've paid off my student debts, credit card debts, appraisals, home insurance, put down $900 for earnest money, and even paid for home inspections. And all for nothin' 'cause they denied me in the end.

My account was in COVID deferral thru Dec '21. In Jan '22 I started making payments again. They said it would take 'bout 3 months to get outta COVID deferral and I gotta make phone call payments at the start of each month 'til they finish the process. The "process" has been goin' on for 7 months now and they keep tellin' the credit bureaus I ain't payin', even though I am, and it's messin' up my credit score. Now they're sendin' me letters sayin' my account is in default and I might lose my property. I keep havin' the same frustratin' phone calls with 'em every couple weeks, but nothin' is movin' forward.

I talked to *** 'bout gettin' a mortgage. In our convo, I told him many times 'bout my not-so-great credit and I didn't give him permission to do a hard pull on it. I just wanted a lender to do it if I was sure 'bout goin' ahead with the loan. I also told him I'd do a soft pull myself and show him the results. I never said he could check my credit score, but less than three hours after our talk, my bank told me he did a hard pull. That ain't right at all. I wanna be compensated for the damage to my credit or have the pull removed from my credit report 'cause I didn't say he could do it.

In January , my dad got his mortgage statement from Stockton Mortgage, and boy was he surprised! The statement said his mortgage had gone up by over 100 bucks a month. So, we decided to give Stockton Mortgage a call to figure out what the heck was going on. We talked to a bunch of different folks before they finally passed us on to this guy named ***. And let me tell ya, he didn't have a clue either! He said Stockton Mortgage hadn't received the homeowners insurance from my dad's insurance company. Can you believe that?
Well, I wasn't about to take their word for it, so I called up my dad's insurance company to check. And guess what? They told me they sent the money to Stockton back in November . But get this, Stockton Mortgage never even bothered to cash the check! Can you believe the nerve? So, my dad's insurance company ended up sending him the insurance check instead, because it was supposed to go into his escrow account.
We followed all the instructions, did everything they told us to do, and here we are in June , and my dad's account is still a mess. It seems like Stockton Mortgage is just taking advantage of an old man who's been around for 75 years. It's just not right, I tell ya.

My contacts at the business don't return any correspondence regarding two escrows that were supposed to close at the same time. Both escrows missed their close dates three times. It all seems to be due to the fault of *** my Loan officer who didn't send the requested information to underwriting even though I provided it promptly. Mandatory accurate closing disclosures weren't provided before the escrow close date. Also, despite requesting verification multiple times via email to confirm the amount of cash needed to close and the total loan amount, it wasn't done and I had to come up with cash or risk losing the property the day before closing. Furthermore, when they finally provided the closing disclosures late, they were incorrect. The services didn't meet the requirements of FILA or RESPA. I've asked for information on paying the mortgage and have been ignored. I've also requested compensation for their bad business practices, mistakes, and failure to follow Federal guidelines.

I had a really bad experience with Stockton Mortgage Corporation. They messed up my loan just 5 hours before closing. I was preapproved back in September , and I did everything they asked for from October to November. They kept changing their requirements over 30 times, and I did everything they asked, even amending my taxes. Finally, on November 20th, the management told me my closing would be on November 24th or 25th.
But on the 24th, they suddenly asked for more money in my account before I could close on the 25th. So I deposited the money as they requested. On the 25th, at 10:40 am, I went to their office and showed them proof of the deposit. They told me everything was great and that I would be closing that afternoon. I was about to leave when they called me back and showed me an email from management saying they decided not to approve the loan. Can you believe it? Less than 5 hours before closing! They completely broke the contract. I even had a verbal and text message confirming the closing time.
I asked them to refund my appraisal money, but they refused. It's just really frustrating and disappointing.

After goin through months of searchin for my first home, payin for 2 inspections and appraisal, I was denied right before closin for a judgement on my report. I have lost 1300.00. I contacted my loan officer to see if there was anythin that could be done since I have put out so much money and also have been packed and ready to move for months. She advise me there was nothin more could be done. I was told to write a withdrawal letter and I would have an explanation letter sent to me. I have yet to receive the letter, it has been over 60 days. I found out more information on what happen due to my new loan officer contactin the loan officer. The judgement has been removed. This has been the worst experience. I contacted the loan officer to see if I could get my appraisal money back and have not gotten a response. I lost my dream home due to poor handlin. I don't know how the judgement was missed from the beginnin if I was pre approved. I would never recommend anyone to Stockton. So much time wasted and money lost. Poor communication.

This is to let you know that Stockton Mortgage is knowingly delaying or not clearing my mortgage payment towards the month of December. I received a letter issued on November 11 from Stockton Mortgage regarding a new loan service address with a new loan number. I added this new loan number information from Stockton Mortgage in my bank account and paid the December mortgage of $1831.41 on 12/02/202 to Stockton mortgage, which was cleared on 12/10 through automated check deposit. However, this payment is not updated with Stockton mortgage for the month of December. When inquiring, for the past 2 days, many representatives intentionally dropped my call several times after I explained my concerns. I am still mentally stressed and feeling very helpless, but I have spoken to two representatives (*** and ***) from Stockton Mortgage on December 14th and 15th, 2020. With much anxiety, frustration, and explaining so many times to them that I have paid my December mortgage dues ($1831.41) from my bank account through the automated check deposit. I have provided all the evidence of payment and I emailed them as proof. Both representatives admitted that the notice issued on 11/18 had all the correct information but with the wrong new loan number (which I have followed to pay the bill). The information of the servicing center (Stockton Mortgage Corporation, PO Box 371306, Pittsburgh, PA 15250) is accurate where my bank mailed the paper check. So, Stockton Mortgage should have received the paper check from my bank with my information on it. With evidence, the representative or manager fails to follow up with me and they should take care of the matter ASAP. I SHOULD NOT be responsible for their mistake or be at default of mortgage payment, and there should not be any late fee charged as I already paid on time on 12/10. More importantly, this is putting a lot of pressure on me mentally and physically.
